.:Name of Character:. Sir Lucan
.:Nick Name:. Luc
.:Age:. 26
.:Race:. Glouchedonian and now Camelotian
.:Status:. Nobility| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:.
If you could have seen him at 10 years old then you would have laughed at the fact that he wanted to become a knight. Now all the training has helped him to maintain a pretty good body. His hair is brown with a messed up appearance that makes it look neat! And his dark brown eyes are quite nice too– they usually have some mischievous spark in them.
.:Height:. 5’11
.:Portrayed by:. Jim Sturgess| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:.
~ The Joker ~
Lucan is a joker and always loves to mess around with his friends on the training field. Cheekiness is his charm, but obviously this is dismissed when in the presence of royalty. It’s quite hard not to be friends with him!
~ The Charmer ~
Lucan is a charmer but believe it or not he is quite shy when it comes to speaking to women. He is very gentle in nature to them and believes that they should be treated with just as much respected as the highest of the high.
~ Another Loyalist~
He is not the only one when it comes to being loyal to the kingdom, but Lucan and will gladly take a step forward be put in the firing line when it means defending the people who he loves the most.
.:Strengths:.
> Knowing how to make an awkward moment into a pretty memorable one.
> His determination – Lucan doesn’t like to sit back and watch from the sidelines. He wants to be out there fighting – thankfully not like a girl, although he does have quite a girlie scream
> Playing with lots of swishy weapons that are also rather pointy. Luc likes pointy things and he sure knows how to use them!
.:Weaknesses:.
~The Dreaded Chainmail! ~
Having chain mail that almost makes him topple over is not exactly a strength in Luc’s book. Nor is it when you’re out in the blazing sun all day wearing what should technically be classed as a human oven.
Don’t even get me started on what happens to it in winter.
~ Crossbows ~
An embarrassing experience that he does not like to bring up – lets just say his aim is rubbish!
~ Girls ~
Well, sort of – he doesn’t even have the courage to talk to them and yet he can fight off mythical creatures and whatnot! I think that he thinks that the idea of talking to a girl is a whole lot scarier than that! No wonder he’s single!
.:Special Skills:. He’s pretty nifty with a sword and he’d make a good B.F.F.!

.:Birthplace:. Glouchedon
.:Family:.
> Duke Corneous of Glouchedon – Father
> Amice – Maternal Mother (deceased)
> Elaine – Step Mother
> Griflet – Half Brother
.:Occupation:. Knight of Camelot
.:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot
.:History:.
Historically Sir Lucan is the son of Duke Corneous and is also the half brother of Sir Bedivere. However legend also said he died in horrific way (err yay?) – NOT IN MY BOOK!
Lucan’s history is pretty vague, he was born to fight. His father Corneous practically raised him to be loyal and respectful to higher authority, and that to die in battle was an honour in itself. Lucan has always had that stuck in his mind ever since.
Corneus married Elaine when Lucan was five and Lucan looked up to his stepmother like his own mother – as Amice had died the year before. Within three years he’d gained a brother Griflet and soon drifted away from Elaine – choosing to concentrate on his fighting rather than trying to rebuild an ever-crumbling relationship between the pair of them. However Lucan still maintained a better relationship with his father, and as the years passed he was determined to show him just how set he was on becoming a knight.
Lucan chose to venture to Camelot at 18 years old. He’d heard about how their knights were the strongest and fearful army, and he wanted to be part of it too. Thankfully all the gruelling hours of practice and tests that he endured earnt him a place, and with that step complete – he continues to enjoy serving the king and kingdom he now resides in.
