-Aryenne Dracose-Who is the BETRAYER?
The KILLER in the crowd? She found herself growing quite tired of these parties in Camelot, they never seemed to lead to anything of importance. Now it was for a knight, a Sir Lancelot? She could not be quite certain nor did Aryenne care. She had never even heard of the man nor his family, and she could not help but to have the oddest suspicion that the man was lying. A fun little game would be to out him, just like that, but Aryenne found herself a little certain that her parents would be none to please, and while she never cared much for being on the good side of her parents, even she was not stupid enough to test them in this situation, "Why are we here again?" she inquired of her direwolf, who stood loyally by her side. Larka did nothing but yawn, even she was bored and only an animal. The notion made the teenager heave a loud sigh as she glanced about.
Surely, there is somebody of interest to talk to. But that couldn't be the case, for Aryenne realized that she just about hated everyone in the room. She had never been a fan of the Pendragons, especially Arthur Pendragon. Some might think her mad for hating the Prince, but after so many forced playdates when they were little, it was hard not to. Plus, he was in line for the throne when she very well thought that it was her family that should be there ruling over Camelot. Her ancestors must have been daft when they allowed the Pendragon line to take hold of the throne. There was just simply no other way to look at it, and how they robbed their lineage of a proper baring. Instead, they just had a large estate. Aryenne did see much use in trying to talk to Morgana either since, well, with her connections to the family, why would she want to talk to her?
"Come Larka, let us survey the room," she said now as she started to walk, the white direwolf moving after her. People moved around them, giving her and her beast room. Aryenne did nothing but smirk, their reputation of being dangerously unreadable has finally caught on. Although, with a few screaming tendencies at tournaments and parties, it would be a shock to say that a person did not know her. If nothing more than hear the rumors from the Dracose Estate itself with the games that she liked to play on their own servants. Dangerous games which involved being hunted down by Larka, such as a game of cat and mouse, or more so just predator and prey. Her eyes fell on the crowd like a hawk, looking for someone who she had yet to make the acquaintance of. The one who CREEPS in corridors,

She turned around, having grown tired of the company she kept. It would be her last time at court prior to her marriage. So she thought to make the best of her life before marrying Harold - and she would need new alliances in her unhappy union. She scanned the crowd, until her eyes found the form of a direwolf. Her eyes then moved to the beast's owner who bore quite a smirk. Gwyn was intrigued, and as such, approached her.
"Greetings," she began, employing that welcoming smile for a conversation in which she was well versed. "How do you enjoy the celebrations?" She broke eye contact with Aryenne Dracose to glance down at her white beast. Gwyn outstretched a hand to it in curiosity, and quickly drew back. Her father had warned her time again to remember her safety; at times she could be an adventurous heart, daring to comply with danger whilst forgetting her mortality. And so she asked: "Does she bite?"
Gwyn couldn't help not allow her sarcastic demeanor show in her question. She always gave a fluttering glance of her true self when playing the weak damsel; she absolutely hated taking on the persona of a weakling, although it was necessary at times. Most never caught her slip of the tongue, and she hoped that Aryenne hadn't caught it either. It would certainly cause ruin to the plots her cunning mind was already to form.

-Aryenne Dracose-Who is the BETRAYER?
The KILLER in the crowd? Aryenne would have thought that people would avoid her for the night, for that always seemed to be the case. It truly was quite nice to be famous in the court, Larka as well. Although, shockingly enough, they were not left alone for long. Blue eyes caught sight of a women approaching them now. Tall and elegant with beautiful blonde hair. She did not envy people often, for Aryenne still thought herself fairest, but there was no doubt in her mind that this older woman could give her a run for her money. In fact, she looked quite familiar as well the more that the teenager thought about it. Perhaps her father may have mentioned her, a wedding alliance that would be happening. Not in the Dracose house, but someone else's.
"Greetings," the woman said now, and Aryenne and Larka halted in their walk, glancing at this other woman quite curiously, "My lady," she replied easily enough, nodding her head in hello. It is a safe enough term to use while she still tried to go into the catacombs of her mind for this name that she was looking for. Besides her, the direwolf was eyeing this newcomer closely, as if looking for a potential threat but there was none to be seen. Blue eyes watched her friend for a moment before returning to the blonde as she spoke, "How do you enjoy the celebrations?" Oh that question. It was standard affair of course, there was no need to sigh. Still, Aryenne thought it quite rude to lie.
"I find it positively dull," she replied back simply enough as she glanced around the party and then cast a special glance tot he new knight in question, "And I dare say, our Sir Lancelot, fifth son of Lord Eldred seems quite out of place." If her mother had been there at that very moment, she might have scolded her for such use of words. But it was very hard not to notice if you asked her. She glanced back at the Lady now, her name finally hitting her. But before she could ask if she were enjoying the festivites, Lady Seymour did something quite interesting: she reached out to the direwolf. Not very many people have done that, in fact, other than Aryenne and her parents, not a soul has, "Does she bite?" Aryenne was still watching her carefully, "Indeed, she has been known to Lady Gwyneth, but I can also say that she only bites the weak or those a threat to me. I feel as if it is safe to say that you are not." Though perhaps it might be too soon to say the latter. People at court were full of surprises, herself included. The one who CREEPS in corridors,

"Indeed, she has been known to Lady Gwyneth, but I can also say that she only bites the weak or those a threat to me. I feel as if it is safe to say that you are not." Perhaps it was the wine or even the irony that made Gwyn laugh aloud at the comment. For the game's sake, she nearly always opted to play the weakling. And if she posed a threat, it would strictly be through manipulation and cunning rather than violence. It was a rarity that she should break her guise, and so she passed it off as the wine, although she spoke of something quite different. "I am sorry - it is hard to believe that I could pose a threat to anyone."
Almost as quickly as the comment ended she put up an apologetic smile, one that has been used to fool even her father. She quickly searched her mind to find something to say, something to give her recovery from her break in guise. "Its been an interesting time, having Sir Lancelot here. Especially since no one has heard of him before his arrival."
She had her own suspicions about the man, however, it was safe to say that she was suspicious of nearly everyone. Especially of someone who appears randomly, and with certain claims. No one she had spoken to had known him and so how can his credibility even be considered? Certainly someone must learn the truth, but it was not going to be her. She had other, more pressing matters to attend to.

-Aryenne Dracose-Who is the BETRAYER?
The KILLER in the crowd? Something curious seemed to have happened and it was that Lady Gwyneth was laughing at her comment. Aryenne just stared at her, uncertain of what to make of the situation at the very moment. Unless perhaps, she was wrong on one account or another. People play tricks and end up not seeming to be what they appear. Though Aryenne doubt that the Lady was any threat to her, so then it only made her wonder one thing: what is that Lady Gwynth might be up to? Though she kept this question to herself for now, it might be fun to try and figure out the riddle on a later date and wave it above the woman's head, "I did not realize that something I said was so amusing, my Lady," she commented now, her blue eyes resting on Lady Gwynth and watching her rather keenly.
Even the direwolf watched with some mild interest, or well as much as an animal could humanly hold. But it seemed that her question had found an answer only too soon, "I am sorry - it is hard to believe that I could pose a threat to anyone," she commented now. Aryenne just continued to stare at her. What an amusing woman, the wine might be getting to her. Smiling now, she let it go for now but sooner or later, she might decide to prod once again, "Oh, I believe anybody can be a threat if they put their mind to it...or if there is something that they want. Even I have been excused of such things, but it's childish really. So such claims."
The awkward lull in the conversation seemed to have rolled over though as the Lady offered her an apologetic smile. Their conversation took to the knight in question, "Its been an interesting time, having Sir Lancelot here. Especially since no one has heard of him before his arrival." The statement made Aryenne laugh as her gaze went back to the knight for a moment , "I bet it might be because he doesn't exist at all," she boldly stated now. If her mother or father had been there to hear such an accusation, they might have snapped her head right off. Still, at least now she could say that she's not the only one to have her suspicions, "I mean, I hear he's been eyeing Lady Morgana's servant. Just what kind of knight should do that?"The one who CREEPS in corridors,
