If there was ever a time of the day to get stuck on the forest paths, it was always late into the day, and often times not long before the sun itself went down as well. It was that sort of point in the day, and by this point Lorelle could hardly even see the sun as it was, even as the rays peeked through the branches, illuminating the path before her. But she knew the sun was going down though. The dark, purple like color high above the deep orange was a clear indicator to that. Either way, though, she had been stuck in between towns for a while now due to the fact that Elpis had needed a moment to rest, for the travel to the next town was much longer than she had first anticipated.
"Alright boy. Keep it up. A few more miles and we can take another rest, alright?" Elle murmured quietly to the beast, patting his neck gently as they continued along at the slow agonizing pace of the walk. But the horse nickered quietly anyways, and a smile curled upon her lips at the answer she had received. It was at that moment that a soft snap resounded through the air, and instantly she pulled on her reins, coming to a quick stop.
Caution now lacing the gaze of her dark eyes, Lorelle peered about into the thick foliage, hoping it was merely an animal she had heard. But in these parts of Albion, it appeared that things simply could not be that easy. It was at that moment that at least a dozen men slipped out of the foliage at once, practically surrounding her as they came from almost all points of the foliage, all coming at her with wicked grins upon their lips.
Bandits.
Lorelle's grip on her reins tightened then, and it was also at that moment that one of the men came to the side of her large steed. He reached up, grabbing at her arm and yanking roughly, pulling her from her seat in a rough manner. She gave a soft cry of pain as her reins rubbed against her bare skin, already beginning to struggle as she was spun around and held roughly at her shoulders, eyes narrowed as the man gave her a toothy grin. "Looks like we got 'rselves a live one boys!" He cackled, and soon the others were laughing too.
"Let go of me!" She yelled at him, trying to shove him away from her, although she was finding a great amount of difficulty due to the fact that he was holding her arms in such a rough grip. By this point Elpis was prancing about nervously, even as a few men cautiously approached the horse. He began to whinny and neigh loudly, trying to back away, but with the men surrounding them there wasn't much of a choice for the animal.
"Come on boys. Le's get back to 'he camp." The man called to the others, and one of the men who had grabbed Elpis' reins started to yank the stallion along, causing him to prance about once more, rearing up a time or two out of nervousness. "Hey! Quit that! Leave him be!" Lorelle yelled angrily as she began to be pulled along, angrily trying to pull her arm away as another man came up to her, a piece of rope in his hands. Pulling her hands together the rope was tied together around her wrists and she was thrown over the shoulder of the first man, an overwhelming scent of alcohol flooding her senses as she began to slam her fists against his back.
"Put me down! Put me down this instant!"

I think a trip to the Princess's kingdom could be arranged. ^^ Maybe there is the possibility that Lorelle could have already been there working with some people and perhaps she comes to the main city of the kingdom and Polyxena happens to be down in the streets at the time? I don't really mind whatever. :3
As to Alex, them meeting in a village would be perfectly fine! Or, if you'd prefer, I have an open thread here if you'd prefer to just jump in there. :3 Whichever works for me. ^^

Hey there! I'd love to do a thread with either Alex or Polyxena if you're up for it. :3 I assume that a thread with Alex would be a bit easier, but I'm sure we can cook something up to do between the Princess and Lorelle. ^^ If you've got any specific ideas for them, just let me know! I'm pretty open for anything. :3

Hey there Isadora! I'd love to do a thread with you if you have the time. :3 Perhaps Lorelle could be visiting in the kingdom to treat some of Isadora's subjects or something of that matter and they happen to run into one another?

Some days it the it seemed better to just stay in bed instead of getting up to take on the day, to just lay there and enjoy the peace that came with the stillness of first waking up in the morning. But it wasn't possible to lay there like that forever, and Lorelle knew that for a fact. It was a slow movement, raising up and pushing away the blanket to allow the cool air of the morning to brush against the bare skin of her feet, a small shiver running down her spine before she stood on the small cloth which had served as her bedroll the past night.
Off a ways, as the young woman slowly began to dress herself in a simple blue shirt and leather riding pants, her stallion stood off in the distance, slowly grazing on the morning grass, the dew catching on the whiskers attached to his pale muzzle, the gentle brown color of his coat mixing and blending with the bark of the trees surrounding the small pair. The occasional snort filled the air, raising a small smile upon her lips, and soon, as she strode across the ground towards her steed the animal lifted his head, tail flicking as he looked at her approaching.
Lorelle patted his neck as she rubbed his sides for a moment, her boots giving a soft crunch as she stepped down upon a few twigs that littered the ground, reaching down for her saddle and bags before she straightened again and placed it on his back, securing it in a few seconds before she pulled her cloak around herself and bridled the stallion, already beginning to walk down the slope to the path towards Camelot. She had gotten word from a village a day or so back that there was a family in need of medical attention rather quickly, and so it was that being so close to the village as it already was, Lorelle had decided that was where she would head next.
"Come, Elpis. There's nothing to be frightened of." She murmured softly to the large horse as he nervously twitched at a snapping twig, surprised by the sound in the silence of the morning, but a few pats from the young woman set the animal to ease. Coming to the road Lorelle stopped on the side, double checking all her tack as she prepared herself to get on to leave for her job of the day.

| ~ • ~ | Character Basics | ~ • ~ |
.:Name of Character:. Lorelle de Luc .:Nick Name:. Elle .:Age:. Twenty-One .:Race:. Human - Farlinian .:Status:. Nomad
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Lorelle is a beautiful young woman with long, wavy blonde hair and dark green eyes. She is fairly tall with a strong yet slender figure, and often times her skin is slightly tan due to the amount of time she normally spends outside. On any average day she will wear a simple tunic with any pair of pants she might see fit, and a cloak probably isn't all that far of either. But, should the occasion arise, she will wear formal clothing. She does posses a few dresses and some jewelery for any such event. .:Height:. 5'6" .:Portrayed by:. Taylor Swift
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Lorelle is a very kind and gentle young woman, and is often friendly with anyone she meets. She isn't the type of the person to turn away from anyone, which goes well with the fact that she travels about just to help other people. She certainly doesn't let much stop her either, because this girl has a heart of gold and a spirit to match when it comes to being brave or running away from any sort of danger.
Although Elle can be an extremely understanding person, that doesn't mean she won't have her bad moments. She can have a temper if the situation provokes her enough, and when she's angry most people normally don't want to be around because she can get quite the mouth when she's angry. But these times are rare, and most of the time Elle is still the calm and gentle person everyone normally comes to meet. .:Strengths:. -Caring -Kind -Strong -Intelligent -Cunning -Skilled healer -Skilled horseman .:Weaknesses:. -Stronger people -Loved ones -Illnesses of magical origin -Doesn't always like being told what to do .:Magic Abilities:. n/a .:Special Skills:. Lorelle does have the ability to use a bow if she so wishes. Having grown up most of her life in the forest area of Farlin, she has been known to use the bow and arrow merely for hunting purposes. Another skill she has is her knowledge of healing. She has no use of magic, nor does she need to, for her knowledge of herbs and remedies seems to be well enough when it comes to treating anyone. .:Accents:. Lorelle has what suggests to be an accent of Scottish origin. It isn't always noticeable when she speaks, but it is there nonetheless. The way she speaks at times also may suggest that she is much wiser than she appears.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Farlin .:Family:. Pirdwyn de Luc - Mother - Decaesed Aivlor de Luc - Father .:Occupation:. Traveling Healer .:Current Location of Residence:. Nowhere in particular .:History:. Lorelle de Luc was born in the area known as the forests of Farlin, or rather more the edge of it's limits. Her father was a simple farmer, a peasant, and her mother was of similar stature. It was because of this that life was never really easy for the family, not even in the beginning of her life. They always had to struggle for everything. Food, shelter, medicine, the like. And it was because of this past that Elle really did mean the value of survival and of life.
The years passed well enough and Lorelle grew up amongst the trees and shrubs of the forest. She didn't frighten much at any bump in the night, for she had learned long before that there was simply creatures that resided in the forest that were dangerous, but she couldn't help that. Instead she had chosen to fight back, hence the skill of the bow and arrow, a skill her father had taught her long before. She helped him bring in food by hunting small creatures such as rabbits and the like. Everything was fine during that time of her life. But then her mom grew ill.
It was at this point in her life that Lorelle began to study healing and medicine. She found books from where ever she could whenever she traveled into nearby villages, reading up on the various types of herbs and for what each could be used for. With this knowledge in hand Elle sought to save her mother, but with her lack of experience there was nothing she could do, and so the woman passed away.
After that day Lorelle continued to study the different areas of medicine, determined to not let any more loss come anyone else. She soon grew to be a skilled healer, and soon she took to the land, traveling about and tending to anyone where it might be needed. She never asked for much in return, and she got by perfectly well on her own. Now at twenty-one years old Lorelle is still traveling, occasionally returning home to her father every few months or so, but apart from that she keeps to the land with only a few pairs of clothes and her horse to her name, seeking to help where ever she is needed.
