::vaughn:: Vaughn chuckled. "You would know all about that I am sure." He remarked in regards to her comment about a whore. My my. If Alistair only knew what he was implying to his woman right now. It was really such a shame that he was locked up somewhere. It was giving Vaughn far too much freedom at the moment. "It does make me curious though. Of what sort of leniency Alistair granted you in return for your, pleasurable favors to him." Meaning of course only one thing. Also insinuating crude things about her personality. But Vaughn was not one to concern himself with the feelings of others. He was not about to start now.
"Perhaps an extra meal for the day. Or more water than what was initially give to you." He could only assume how deep the druid's feelings for this woman ran, but he was mocking their entire relationship, basing it off something more vulgar than it probably was. And he was finding a great deal of amusement in doing this.
Vaughn just continued to smile slyly. "I have my ways of persuading others My Lady. A future Queen, always in the public eye. It is easy to spread damaging rumors to tarnish such an innocent reputation." Innocent was spoken with sarcasm of course. "If you do not believe me then all you need do is sit back and watch events unfold for themselves." Meaning, Vaughn would take action soon enough. If he wanted to. He was still debating what the best way to approach this would be, and her feelings or emotions on the matter, was not a factor he was putting in consideration.

She didn't respond to his absolutely indecent questions, why hadn't he just asked these things of Alistair? Since he was being so candid about their relationship, shouldn't he know exactly what had gone on between the two of them? Unless Alistair hadn't told him, but that didn't make any sense. How else would he know anything of what had happened between them? He couldn't be basing all of his taunting on mere suspicions, so if Alistair had told him, then it meant he was just making all this up in order to bother her. She wondered what Alistair had said...what he really thought of her.
She ignored his musings about what Alistair might have given her, certain that he wouldn't understand what they had shared; or at least, what Isadora had thought they'd shared. It wasn't a matter of what was given, it hadn't been an exchange of goods or a trade, it had been something they had done together. But she wasn't going to bother trying to explain the concept of love to this man; she was certain that he was incapable of feeling it at all.
"I do believe you, but you've already made it apparent that you will not be silenced, not by reason or coin, so what else am I to do? You will do as you wish, I am certain." Vaughn didn't want money, he wished to humiliate and ruin her. Right now, she just wanted to be rid of him and never have to look at him or deal with him ever again. Again, she found herself wondering why Alistair couldn't have any friends who were nice people?

::vaughn:: Vaughn just continued to smirk. It was safe to say that his partnership with Alistair was at its end. He had fallen for this woman, and with that, all the strings attached to being with a woman who would not condone his behavior. One that led to kidnapping royals and nobles of the like. It was a shame too really. Alistair had been useful. One of the few people that Vaughn made an effort to see more than once. For the sole reason that their alliance had been quite profitable. And now, this woman had ruined it all. Damn women. This is why 'love' was the most ridiculous, delusional notion man had ever concocted to make themselves feel less lonely. Pathetic. Utterly pathetic.
"Oh trust me My Lady. There is of course something you can do that may persuade me to silence." He went back to suggestive propositions, knowing she would not go for it, but enjoyed the vulgar taunting. "If Alistair had gotten you to do it, then that means it must not be very difficult to do." In other words, he was calling her easy. It did not matter to him that he was being so disrespectful to a future Queen of a kingdom. Respect was one of the many lacking traits of Vaughn Adeney. "Speaking of the man rotting away in the dungeon, what is it that you plan to do to him?" That was part of the reason he was here after all. To find out the future of the man who he had successfully kidnapped and held others for ransom with. It was not out of compassion. It was out of sheer curiosity. Besides, it gave him a reason to pay the lovely Isadora a little visit. And he would never pass up an opportunity to do that.

Isadora rolled her eyes as he yet again alluded to what she could do to keep him quiet; he had to know by now that she would never do what it was he wanted. She figured that was part of his game. That way, when he did start spreading his lewd rumors, he could always claim he'd given her a way out. She had no doubt that even if she were willing to acquiesce to his vulgar terms, he'd still spread whatever lies he wanted. This was not a man whose word meant anything, and Isadora would not malign her honor in the vain hope that he might keep to the arrangement.
"No." Came her simple reply, she was through playing games with him; she wasn't going to give him what he wanted, and she was tired of turning him down. "It's not going to happen, so you might as well give up your ever-so persuasive attempts." She told him in no uncertain terms. "Maybe I'll have him hanged. Or maybe I'll let him go. You'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out which." She wasn't going to hang Alistair, but she wasn't going to tell this man that. He'd already threatened to kill Alistair himself, so clearly the druid's life didn't mean much to him. "If you'd like to see him, I can arrange to have you join him in the dungeons." She offered with an overtly sweet smile; wouldn't that be too good, to have him agree to go down to the dungeons of his own free will?

::vaughn:: My my, wasn't she defiant. Truth be told, Vaughn would not lose any sleep over Alistair's death. He would lose a decent partner in crime, but that was easily replaceable. Sort of. Either way, Vaughn kept an amused smile on his lips. Showing no remorse for hearing about the druid's possible death. If she 'loved' him as much as he 'loved' her then she would not kill him. He doubted she would. "Shame. He would be more useful to you alive I am sure," he said. Who knows what desires he could satisfy in the lady. "Unless he has already worn out his use to you." Unless she moved on that quickly. He had already called her a whore. His implications to this insult would not so easily cease. Besides, he was enjoying himself too much. Especially since he knew this would not be the last time he saw her.
Contrary to popular belief, Vaughn was not stupid, despite his next decision. He could tie her up and make a quick escape. Or, he could give himself more of a challenge and confront the druid. He chuckled at her offer, knowing that it was somewhat rhetorical for what mad man would willingly enter the dungeons? Vaughn however, was not known for being sane. "I would much rather you bring him up here. So that we put that ever so large bed to use." Meaning, well. The meaning in his words were fairly obvious.

Isadora snorted at his implications. "More useful than you, I'm sure." Well, he'd already decided what he was going to spread about her, so she might as well insult his virility and his manhood while she had the chance. Maybe it wasn't altogether smart to taunt the violent thug, but Isadora was tired of playing his games. She would not execute Alistair...but if these were the people he was talking to about what had happened between them, then she was certainly not going to getting any 'use' out of him anytime soon, either.
She rolled her eyes when he suggested putting the bed to use; it never ended with him. "If I bring him up here, you two will only tear each other to pieces." She pointed out, even if Alistair were chattier with this man than she would've imagined, she was quite certain that he wasn't going to be very eager to let another man touch her. She honestly didn't know which one of them would win such a fight; she'd seen Alistair fight and knew he was quite skilled, but she'd never seen Vaughn fight, and she didn't imagine Alistair would be working with a man whose skill he could best easily. "Or do you imagine Alistair to be the kind of man who doesn't mind sharing?" From her experience, he was too territorial, too possessive to let even his best friend have her.
