It wasnt until Morgana herself laid eyes on the very much alive, and very much healing Prince that she stopped fretting and bursting into tears at the slightest provocation. Her dreams had been so vivid, so lifelike that it had sent her flying down the halls and out of the castle to beg her adoptive brother not to go. To not fight this beast. But, with Arthur being Arthur, and Uther being Uther, there had been no stopping him. And he had been brought back, half dead, just as Morgana had seen him in her dreams. That was when she nearly broke.
For she knew what came next. She'd seen this, and then she had seen him actually dead. Arthur couldnt die. She wouldnt allow it. Guievere had been witness to her violent reactions in those few days, and she had already set about apologising for it to her handmaiden. She had just been so worried. But Arthur was on the mend again, and she'd heard that Merlin and Gaius had just returned from somewhere. Something in her gut told Morgana there was more to this than anyone thought.
So, she now found herself standing outside the old physician's chambers, wringing her hands in her shawl as she worked up the courage to knock on the door. What would she say? She had no idea. Finally, she just lifted her hand and knocked, her mind still blank. She would simply take it as it comes.

After the whole showdown with Nimueh on the Isle of the Blessed, Merlin and Gauis had returned to Camelot – trying to make up a story for their little trip along the way. Gauis had been foolish to go there and give his life in exchange for his mothers – Merlin knew he should have been the one. It was all a vicious circle. The whole ‘balance of the world must be restored’ rubbish annoyed him and now he was still angry that the situation had become out of hand.
They’d only returned just an hour earlier, Merlin going and checking to make sure that Arthur was still being his usual prattish self before returning to Gauis and having a well deserved dinner. He’d defeated Nimueh after all hadn’t he? Gauis then announced he was going to check on Arthur while Merlin busied himself with some chores before he could finally get some sleep. This whole destiny thing really was draining the life out of him.
Around him clothes were magically washing themselves – the mop was doing the waltz across the floor so as it was cleaned in a far quicker time than Merlin could do it himself. Meanwhile Merlin himself was pondering over his magic book. Spells for turning people into frogs (now that would be one that he needed to test out on Arthur), ones to cure boils – others to control others actions (another that could have it’s advantages). Slowly, day-by-day Merlin felt himself become more accustomed to new spells and felt far wiser for it.
KNOCK KNOCK!
Immediately he looked up, mop clattering to the floor, as did the clothes into the washing buckets. Gauis wouldn’t be knocking and Arthur usually just burst in unannounced. Shoving the magic book underneath a pile of others so it was perfectly concealed he got up and opened the door. Morgana was standing there looking particularly nervous so it seemed. What was she doing here?
“Morgana?” He frowned and stepped aside, “Come in”. He closed the door behind her and turned “Did you want your sleeping draft?” he asked, perhaps Gauis had forgotten to deliver it.

Morgana waited patiently as she lowered her hand and frowned when she softly heard clattering from inside Gaius' chambers. Had Merlin tripped on something? She hoped she hadn't surprised him and he'd gone and hurt himself. That wouldn't do, especially not since she'd come to thank him. Last thing she wanted was for him or Gaius to get hurt after saving Arthur. The door was pulled open before her to reveal none other than Merlin, who didn't seem to be injured thankfully.
He allowed her to enter the chambers, which she did, and she glanced around. No sign of Gaius then. Probably checking on Arthur right then anyways. She vaguely heard Merlin's question and she shook her head. While she would need a new one in a few days, or less if her nightmares continued on as they were, right now it was far from her mind. "No, thank you," she replied. The lady wasn't in the habit of feeling nervous, but the last few days had been terrifying for her.
And Merlin had been present at the worst of her outbursts; when she'd flown out of the castle and begged Arthur frantically, in front of all the Knights and anyone else who had been watching, Merlin included, not to go and fight the Questing Beast. Her nightmares had been horrible. She'd seen Arthur verging on the edge of death, unresponsive and it had frightened her like nothing else ever had. And it had cast her mind back to that whole Sophia incident. The nightmare had the same kind of feeling those dreams had, and that had scared her even more.
She'd screamed when Arthur had been brought back, just as she had seen him.
"I wanted to make sure you and Gaius were alright," Morgana said, realising she had gone silent for a few moments. Both, she knew, had left Camelot for whatever reason, and had only just returned. All she knew for certain was that Arthur was getting better as a result.

Something wasn’t right here. If she hadn’t come for her sleeping draft then what did she want? Morgana never usually came to Gauis unless something was wrong or that she’d had another bad dream. Merlin wanted so much to enlighten her about her powers, but he knew he couldn’t. it was far to dangerous, especially for a woman in her position. If Uther ever found out then Merlin had bad thoughts about what he would do.
“D-did you have another dream?” he asked, and then realised that was a total violation of her privacy. “Sorry, Gauis told me about some of the nightmares that you’ve been having lately.” Yes…nightmares…
"I wanted to make sure you and Gaius were alright,"
Oh?
Merlin frowned, “We’re fine”. he began
Did she know something? What if she’d seen them? Did she know about Nimueh and the Isle of the Blessed showdown? Had she somehow seen it in her visions? This wasn’t good.
“Gauis has just gone to see to Arthur while I clear up” he told her, “It’s been a busy few days so I haven’t got around to clearing up or getting any of my chores done” he made himself busy, cleaning up the clothes that had dropped to the floor and beginning to mop the floor physically this time.

Morgana shook her head softly as Merlin inquired about her dreams and apologised. She had expected Gaius would tell Merlin about them, he was his assistant after all and, possibly, would take over from the older man when the time came. So was it not reasonable for him to know things about his potential patients? It didn't matter to her anyway, as it seemed Merlin was nothing if not understanding of her plight. And for that she was thankful.
She chuckled when Merlin made his comment about being busy these last few days. "Well that's Arthur. Always wanting to be the center of attention and taking up everybody's time," she replied, picked up a tunic which was on the floor by her feet. She folded it indly in her hands before she sighed and turned back to Merlin.
"I wanted to say thank you to you and Gaius," Morgana said softly, holding her hands tightly in front of her. "For saving Arthur's life," she added and, despite whatever anyone may have thought, Morgana meant that honestly. If it hadn't been for Merlin and Gaius, Arthur may not have recovered and then her nightmare really would have become a reality. She owed them more than she could possibly convey.
Suddenly feeling somewhat embarrassed, the lady turned back around, placing the tunic she still held down on the table to occupy her hands. "I don't have to explain how worried about him I was," she finished.
Merlin had been there anyway. He had helped her back up the stairs after Arthur had told her to go back inside. How she'd wanted to rattle him over the head and scream at him not to go, but she'd been confused and disorientation as the guards took her back inside the castle.

"Well that's Arthur. Always wanting to be the center of attention and taking up everybody's time,"
“You have no idea” Merlin chuckled and shook his head. He continued to work around Morgana. She had come here for something so it was best not to appear on high alert all the time, “he certainly makes sure that I take up most of his”.
"I wanted to say thank you to you and Gaius," he looked up from mopping the floor and frowned, "For saving Arthur's life,"
Oh. So that was what this was about. Merlin propped the mop up against the bench. “I didn’t do anything, Gauis is the one who tried all the remedies. I just…well, I just watched” he shrugged. Yes. He’d watched. He’d fought. He’d won. Technically it was Nimueh’s life that had compensated for Arthur’s. At least he wouldn’t have to worry about her trying to kill Arthur or anyone else anymore.
Morgana looked embarrassed. This made Merlin feel even more concerned, “Are you…are you sure you’re ok?” he asked. "I don't have to explain how worried about him I was," she replied.
Merlin knew all too well about how worried she had been. She’d frantically run out into the sqaure as they were about to ride out to kill the questing beast. She fought against Arthur not to go. Merlin had literally had to drag her from Arthur and back inside the castle. He knew that she’d seen the vision of him being attacked by the beast in her dreams. “He is alive…” he began, paused for a moment and then finished his sentence off, “that’s all that matters – it could have been far worse had Gauis not found the right cure”.

Despite Merlin's insistance that Gaius had been the one responsible for Arthur's recovery, something inside Morgana knew there was more to this. She knew that Merlin had left Camelot, and Gwen had told her of Hunith's mysterious illness and her sudden recovery. Taking into account Arthur's recovery from an attack that, as Gaius had said, was fatal and there was no known cure. And her dreams.... they were another matter entirely.
She hadn't dared speak aloud her fears about her dreams being something more than simple nightmares. Terrified though she'd been throughout this entire ordeal, she'd also come to realise something. She had dreamed of Arthur at death's door days before it happened. And it had happened...
It had come true.
Before she could stop herself, Morgana spoke. "How is your mother recovering?" she asked. It hadn't been her intention to reveal that she knew about his mother's sudden affliction, Guinevère had imparted it to her in a desperate attempt to calm Morgana down.
"I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to come and see her," Morgana added, figuring she had spoken and she might as well deal with it. "I was..... I'm sorry," she finished lamely. Could she be any more awkward? Morgana wasn't sure how she felt. Nervous, which was odd, Merlin was a servant and she didn't have any reason to feel nervous around him, other than the obvious, afraid, relieved and just generally worn out. The last few days had been taxing on her sanity. But even as such she had wanted to thank he and Gaius. Without them she'd probably have been worse.

Merlin was a little surprised when she asked how his mother was recovering. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out for a while. “She’s well…thank you” he finally managed to find the right words, “getting better everyday so it seems”
“I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to come and see her,"
“You had Arthur to worry about” Merlin shook it off, “my mother just had something that apparently can suddenly just appear. Gauis says that no one knows why, but we went out looking for herbs that he needed to make the remedy. Thankfully we came back just in time” he lied. He wasn’t about to tell her that he was off frying Nimueh with a lightening bolt on the isle of the blessed. “All she needs now is rest and then she can go back home again”.
Morgana appeared to seem even more awkward around him. “Morgana…” he began, “Why have you really come to see me? Because im pretty sure it isn’t to check on my mother”. He was almost certain it wasn’t about that, but the thought was nice enough, “this is about the questing beast isn’t it?” he didn’t need to ask to know – after all he’d been the one to take her back inside when she ran out to Arthur.
Merlin pulled up two chairs and sat on one, gesturing for Morgana to sit on the other. “Now… are you going to tell me what’s really wrong?”

Ah so that was why they had left Camelot. She hadn't known about his mother until later, so she supposed it made sense for them to go searching for something to help her. She'd been so fraught with worry about Arthur perhaps she had allowed herself to be blinded to mostly everything else during those few days. Still, that didn't stop the Lady from feeling bad for not having a chance to see Hunith. She had been so kind to them all when they had been in Ealdor.
"I should like to visit her before she goes if she is feeling up to it," Morgana commented. She glanced over her shoulder when Merlin called her out on her nervousness. He really did have a knack for picking up on things like that. A small smile lifted her lips at that. Merlin wouldn't tease her for her worry, wouldn't expect her to be perfect all the time.
It was somewhat refreshing not to have to pretend as much.
The mention of the Questing Beast though wiped the smile from her face as Merlin offered her a chair. Yes, the real reason she was here. Turning back to the table for a moment, she sighed. "For days Merlin," she began before she turned around to look at him. She didn't take the chair just yet though. "I dreamt about the Questing Beast for days before it happened," she continued on. "I saw Arthur as he was before he had even left Camelot."
It had taken Morgana looking back on her dreams in retrospect before she had come to realise she had seen it all before it happened. That there was no way she should have seen what she had.

"I should like to visit her before she goes if she is feeling up to it,"
Merlin looked up at her from where he was sitting down. He gave her a small smile. “She’d like that – thank you Morgana”. Everyone had been so kind and helpful when his mother had turned up. Gwen had nursed her, Gauis had practically gone and nearly gave his own life in exchange for hers, and now Morgana wanted to visit her. “Everyone’s been really kind” he started, “I really appreciate it”.
As he expected, Morgana didn’t take the offer of a chair. She didn’t seem the type to sit down and have a heart to heart. Yet she was now telling him of her dreams, or rather – visions. Merlin felt sorry for her. He knew exactly what it felt like – to be scared of who you were and what possible consequences there could be. He’d only starting accepting his powers for their advantageous uses when he first arrived in Camelot. Gauis had been a big impact as to how he used and looked at magic. The magic book was his lifeline. It was making him stronger and aware of just how much of its contents he could put to use.
Merlin looked at her sadly, “It must be hard, having dreams that scare you”. He wanted so much to put her mind at ease, but he knew what could happen if he said too much. Gauis had warned him about the potential dangers. “But they are just dreams Morgana – scary or not, they won’t harm you”.
What else could he say? He couldn’t exactly give her a massive hug – for one she’d completely freak out just as much as if he told her that she was a seer.

Morgana smiled. Hunith was a lovely woman and she had enjoyed speaking with her when they had been in Ealdor. "It's the least I can do Merlin," she replied softly. She sighed as she listened to Merlin speak. Reassuring her that they were just dreams. Why couldn't she just believe that? It was crazy not to mention treason to think they were anything more than dreams, but the Lady couldn't help it. Her instincts told her something was wrong. They were so vivid, and one of them had come true. How did one explain that?
She couldn't stop the slightly manical laugh that escape her at his final words. "Maybe not me but they seem to have no problem hurting everyone else. How could I expect you to understand it? You have no idea what it is like!" she exclaimed, sounding half mad as she shook her head. It was maddening. Watching Merlin for a few moments, Morgana garned control of herself once more.
"I'm sorry Merlin. That was callous of me," she apologised, tucking her hair away behind her ear. She hadn't meant it. Whether anyone could understand it or not, at least Merlin went out of his way to assure her everything was alright. That she was alright and that there was nothing wrong with her.
If only she could make herself believe it too.
Finally giving up, she took the chair and sat down, burying her face in her hands. She was exhausted with everything. Worrying, thinking, crying. All of it had drained what strength she had and it was only sheer will that kept her going. Now she was snapping at her friends.

Merlin was flattered by Morgana’s concern for his mother, but that still didn’t mask the fact that she was here because something was troubling her. Her dreams being the obvious fact, but also he had a hunch that she wanted to know where he and Gauis had been – hence the little white lie he’d had to tell her.
He heard her laugh after he’d finished speaking."Maybe not me but they seem to have no problem hurting everyone else. How could I expect you to understand it? You have no idea what it is like!"
Merlin looked down at his feet and fiddled with his fingers. Yes. How silly of him – how could he possibly know what it was like to be considered a freak? How could he know what it was like when you couldn’t explain why candles set themselves alight and things magically floated through the air when you were just four years old, and becoming aware that you were different. How could he know what it was like to only have one friend (and no one else), who thought that his abilities were valuable (and yet had died protecting him) How on earth could he possibly know what it was like to have a destiny, and to protect a valuable asset every day of your life? No. That was Merlin. Always vague and unaware of just how anyone else could feel.
Morgana must have seen the look on his face, because she then apologised. Merlin just gave a shrug and said nothing. In the end he finally found his voice. “Yes, you’re right – how could I”. It was small – he felt a little bitter but didn’t let this show.
He looked up, a little surprised that she took the chair he’d offered earlier. “What are you going to do?” he asked, looking up at her – still feeling a little hurt. It was understandable. He’d been snappish too when he was younger, not knowing exactly how he could control the things that he made happen. He hoped that Morgana would soon either dismiss any magical connections to her dreams or at least recognise that it was a gift, rather than a burden.

Morgana hadn't meant to snap at Merlin like she had, he had been nothing but helpful to her after all and she really did appreciate that with everything that had been going on. She sighed and ran one of her hands through her hair before she lowered. "I honestly dont know," she confessed. What could she do? She could pray as hard as she could that whatever this was would go away, that she would return to being normal, but something told her that wouldn't do anything.
As a Lady, perhaps she should have considered what she was doing. Sitting at this table, across from Merlin, who was a servant, and baring what she was feeling and thinking as honestly as if it were her best friend. Morgana honestly didn't care. Servant or not, Merlin and Gaius were the only ones who knew anything about what she was going to. They were the only form of comfort she had at the moment.
"I dont want to force any of this burden onto you or Gaius, Merlin," she began, choosing her words carefully. "But I would appreciate it immensely if you could keep this whole affair with my dreams to yourselves for now. Maybe you are right and with time it will work itself out, but I do not want to worry Arthur or Uther with it until it becomes absolutely necessary."
Which, if her vague suspicions were ever proven correct, it never would.
If this indeed revealed itself to be magic.... Uther could never know. Morgana trusted Arthur with her life, and she wanted to think he would never turn her in to his father if she were to reveal this to him, but her fear of everything at the moment ensured that even that faith was shaken. Uther's stance on magic was clear. He'd tried to execute a boy simply for being a child who could do magic. What would he do to her, his beloved and trusted ward? He wouldn't see it as something she couldn't control. He would think she had betrayed him and have her burnt at the stake!
Supressing a small shudder of fear, Morgana looked to Merlin.

"I don’t want to force any of this burden onto you or Gaius, Merlin,"
Merlin felt sorry for Morgana. She was so confused as to what was going on – just as he had been when he couldn’t explain his powers. Yes it was a gift and burden rolled into one. Sometimes you won and sometimes you lost. Merlin felt he had defiantly won with using his magic for a purpose – whereas Morgana couldn’t find any way of controlling hers. “It’s anything but that,” Merlin told her, “I promise I won’t tell anyone – not even if Arthur keeps walloping me around the head until I pass out”. There was no way he’d tell Arthur about this. Gauis had already made it clear that the situation was dangerous enough.
He saw the fear flash through her eyes like a lightening bolt. She had every reason to be terrified after the things she’d seen. Even on his arrival in Camelot he’d watched a man executed for his crimes. Merlin leant forward on his chair, hands clasped together and looked at Morgana.
“I know you’re scared, I can see it” he told her, “but don’t be – the dreams will probably just go away” he clicked his fingers. Time to lie and try and make Morgana see that the dreams would fade – when they would never do so.

As much as Morgana appreciated Merlin's assurance that he wouldn't tell anyone about what she was going through, she couldn't help a smile and chuckle at his way of doing so. It sounded just like Arthur to punish poor Merlin as much as he could to try and pry information out of him. Arthur could be a bit of a brute in that regard. It was good to know she could count on Merlin though. She could never entrust this to anyone in the court, in case they told Uther and she knew some of them didn't like anyways, but Merlin was.... Merlin; innocent in all of this. He had no alterior motives or petty squabbles with her. He was just Merlin and that was a god send at this point.
Prep talks weren't something Morgana was used to hearing, she was usually the one tanning Arthur's hide into action anyway, but from Merlin, she almost believed him when he said that she shouldn't be scared. On some level, she knew Merlin could never understand exactly how she felt, he didn't suffer dreams like she did, nor did he have any reason to suspect he might be magic, but it was the thought that counted. "Thank you Merlin," Morgana replied with a smile, reaching out to place her hand over his.
It was a forward gesture, yes, but she wanted him to know how thankful she was. He was here listening to her, reassuring her, when anyone else in Camelot probably would have turned her away in fear. Or gone straight to Uther with suspicions. Merlin had none of that.
"You really are a true friend," she added, retracting her hand.
[And on a side note, this marks post number 200 for Morgana here!!! Woohoo!!!]

Merlin felt a warm glow inside of him as Morgana called him a true friend. It felt good and at least he was doing something good by putting her mind at ease. Yes, she had a right to know of her magic abilities but it was threatening to tell her – damaging for them both. It was also a shame that he couldn’t tell her of his own powers – something to allow them to connect.
Merlin bit his lip before he stood up and instead, perching himself on the edge of Gauis’ work bench. Folding his arms and staring at the floor in front of him. there was nothing else that he could really say that could make Morgana feel any better – and he was known for his foot in mouth disease when it came to saying the wrong thing.
“Sooooooo…” he began, “Did you need to see Gauis for anything else? You know, more sleeping draft or something?” not that it would help her now. “I could make it if you want?” He’d practically learnt how to from Gauis. Merlin thought he would make quite a good physician had he not been grated the most ‘gratifying’ position of being Arthur’s servant. Speaking of Arthur, had Morgana been to see him since Merlin had dragged her back into the castle after her little wobbly moment in the courtyard?
“Have you visited Arthur?” he asked quietly, knowing that the conversation might possibly end up going back to her dreams.

Morgana remained seated when Merlin stood. Perhaps she should be going, but she honestly couldn't find it within herself to stand. Merlin wasnt judging of her. Here she could have a few moments reprieve from everything beyond that wooden door. Ah his question, she sighed. "I do need some more of that draught," she confessed. It had been helping a little with her nightmares, and Morgana would rather have it than not. One never knew when it might begin working again and remove the nightmares completely.
"I would appreciate that," she added with a smile to his offer of making the draught for her. No doubt, despite his position as Arthur's servant, Gaius was still teaching Merlin. He'd been out a few times she knew of for herbs and the like. If all went well, perhaps Merlin would take over Gaius' position in a few years.
His more quiet question made Morgana's mind briefly replay the scene from the courtyard before she came back to the present, and Merlin's question. "I have," she answered with a nod of her head. "He seems to be recovering well," she added, and once again, Morgana was brought to the real reason she had come. Arthur's wound, by Gaius' own admission had been incurable. A bite from the Questing Beast was fatal, no exceptions. So how had Arthur become an exception? It was false then, the fatal bite, Gaius had claimed. Morgana was not so certain.
"Have you seen Arthur since your return?" Morgana asked. She didn't know if Merlin had been serving the Prince while he recovered or not. She had been with him and the room had been empty, but somebody must have been seeing to him.

Merlin got to work on Morgana’s draught. If she hadn’t been there, he’d be half tempted to use magic just to speed things along a little – he was unsure as to whether any kind of spell could prevent a seer from having visions in her sleep. He made a mental note to look it up in his magic book later, and to ask Gauis. Then again that would be stupid, as he’d just tell Merlin not to get involved incase anything went wrong – which it usually did.
“It’s not a problem,” he told her as he collected the items he needed, “I know this inside out – I watch Gauis a lot”. When he had the time. Arthur took up most of Merlin’s time these days – what it the whole destiny thing and preventing the Prince from dying. It seemed as though everyone and everything was out to kill him lately.
“He seems to be recovering well," Morgana was now talking about visiting Arthur. Merlin hadn’t actually gone to see the prince since getting back, planning to visit that evening. He’d given Arthur some heartfelt speech before he left – figuring that he wouldn’t exactly be coming back, but since circumstances had worked out for the best, he felt a little awkward going to see him now. He looked up and smiled warmly. “Im glad to hear that – he’s probably bored out of his mind”.
"Have you seen Arthur since your return?"
Merlin looked back down and worked on crushing the ingredients in a bowl. “Oh…err, no” he replied, “I was planning on going to see him either tonight or tomorrow – there’s a few jobs I need to do…” Mixing the ingredients together and then heating them over a flame, Merlin held up the bottle to the light and studied it’s contents. He was sure that was the correct way of making it. He poured the liquid into a vial and sealed it. “There we go, hopefully that should help a little – if it doesn’t then just come back and I’ll see if I can make anything stronger, but then again if Gauis is here then you may as well tell him ive messed up again”. He laughed at himself half-heartedly. He seemed to mess everything up these days.
“Arthur isn’t annoyed that I haven’t been to see him is he?” he asked, a little curious as to whether the Prince was going to be in a foul mood or not.

While Merlin milled around the chamber, collecting various things which Morgana assumed were part of the draught Gaius always prepared for her, the lady fiddled idly with the hem of her sleeve. She was hardly dressed to be out and about, but what did Morgana care at the moment? Worrying over if Arthur was going to die seemed slightly more important than whether or not she wore her best dress outside her room. Listening as Merlin spoke, Morgana once again considered how the future might turn out.
If Gaius approved, Merlin probably would be the next court physician.
She chuckled at Merlin's rather apt description of how Arthur was fairing. He was getting antsy being couped up like he was, but Gaius had fobidden him, as had the King, from leaving his room until they decided he was right to do so. It was driving Arthur absolutely insane. For a moment, Morgana was surprised that Merlin hadn't been to see Arthur yet, but then again, he had been busy. Hunith had been sick, Arthur was still recovering, no doubt Gaius had kept Merlin busy as well on top of all that. She should have expected he might not have made it to Arthur yet.
The vial he handed her wasnt unlike the ones Gaius did, and Morgana took it with a small bit of comfort. She smiled as Merlin laughed, and shook her head. "Arthur is always annoyed at something, but if he tries anything, I'll straighten him out," Morgana replied reassuringly. She's just have a little sit down and talk with Arthur about how Merlin had been taking care of his mother and make sure that he felt every tiny little bit of guilt that brought up. That was what siblings were for after all.

Merlin smiled, “Great – so I can expect lots of objects thrown my way, when I decide to show my face again”. If Arthur was annoyed then obviously he would take it out on him. Starting with a jug and closely followed by a shoe, some pillows and a bowl of water over the head. Speaking of which – Merlin knew he needed to check on his mother soon, just to check that she was ok and recovering well. He knew that she was but after all that had happened, he especially wanted to make sure that she was one hundred percent fit and well.
“I know this is probably the worst time to be saying this, but ive enjoyed talking with you,” he suddenly said. Merlin realised that apart from Gauis, he couldn’t really confide deeply to anyone else. Gwen he could for advice and sometimes if he was desperate, then he’d go to Arthur. “I know we never really have anything to say to each other but…well I guess given the circumstances, I kind of needed someone to talk to these past few days.”
