SMACK!
Lucan felt his body connect with the floor of the cell and the door closing with the final turn of the lock.
“Well that was fun” he groaned slightly. It had been anything but. Morgana had been very persistent with her blackmail and now it seemed as though Camila was going to pay the price because he wouldn’t recognise her as ‘Queen’. “Thanks guys – same time tomorrow?” he raised his brows to the guards who said nothing and walked off.
“You’re not dead then?” Yvain called out from another cell as jovially as he could, “All of us down here thought that you were tonight’s meal”
Lucan somehow found that he had to smirk at this. “I nearly was”. Yvain said no more and once again there was silence in the dungeon. Lucan hated it – usually he and his brothers would be laughing and joking around – constantly taking digs at one another and how they would fight like girls. Despite the current situation, Lucan just wanted to keep everyone going – to show Morgana that not even the biggest of threats would weaken them. There was only one thing for it…………
“Hey…Leon” he called out, wondering where the second in command was, “I spy with my little eye – something beginning with ‘When we next see Morgana then I’ll let my sword do all the talking…’”
Well, When all else failed….

Just when you think things could get a little better, they got even worse. There was no end to Morgana’s ways. She would stop at nothing till she tried to make the last standing knights bow down to her rule. She had been pressing Leon more and more, hoping that if the second in command finally gave up, the other knights would follow. But each day there was no luck, and each day it would bring more trying and more pressing. Leon would not bow down to something he knew was wrong. And Morgana being ‘Queen’ was not right. She was not fit for ruling, and Leon knew that Camelot would just suffer as the days turned into weeks and maybe even months.
Time went different being locked up in a cell. Leon couldn’t tell what was going on around him, nor what was going on outside in Camelot. He just saw the days pass through the small little window at the top of the cell. He didn’t know where or now the other knights were. He wondered how many of them were left. Locking Leon up in his own cell had been one of Morgana’s ways of trying to get him to bow down to her. He would rather be with his fellow brothers in arms then being alone.
He tried to sleep on and off, but the cold cell floor was that comfy and being chained to the wall didn’t help much either. He lifted his head when he heard his name. In was the first time he had heard any of the other knights, most of the time Leon was gone from down here, or they didn’t talk for fear of what the immortal guards that watched over them would do. The voice sounded much like Lucan and he couldn’t help but smirk.
It seemed Lucan hadn’t lost the way he was, even in the way they were. As soon as he got out of here, he would need a good drink and time to rest. If the knight did get out, he would find Arthur and try to take back Camelot back to the way it was, and the knight wouldn’t mind getting his hands of Morgana, give her a taste of his sword.
“Lucan, it’s good to hear your still with us”
Leon was glad to hear his fellow brother’s voice. It just showed how much Morgana could throw at them, and they would still not bow, none of them would no matter what. He chuckled a little.
“You’re not the only one that wouldn’t mind having a little ‘talk’ with Morgana”.
Lucan was right, if the knights had there way, their swords would be doing the talking. But with a castle full of Immortal soldiers, what could they do, Leon had seen what they could do.

Lucan smiled to himself as Leon agreed that it wasn’t just Lucan who wanted to do some ‘talking’ with Morgana. He could hear a fair few mutters from his friends as they seemed to all want to do the same as both Leon and Lucan.
The knight rose to his feet, wincing slightly as the pain ran across his chest. A couple of broken ribs weren’t going to stop him. He walked over to the bars of the cell door and steadied himself against them, his head connecting with the cool bar. “Of all things…how could she do this to us? To the King and Arthur.” He growled, not knowing whether anyone could hear him. “It makes me wish we’d never spent wasting all of that time finding her.”
He looked through the bars; there were two of the guards standing by the entrance to the dungeons. And a few other cells. Lucan wasn’t sure what one Leon was in. He knew that Yvain and a few others were in the one next to him. “I’m thankful your still alive, even if the circumstances surrounding it were not as pleasant.” He told Leon, “Knowing my luck they’re building a scaffold outside for me” he chuckled slightly, “I wasn’t exactly the most courteous when I was taken to see her.” No he wasn’t, and now Camila was in danger. This angered Lucan when thinking about it even more. So angry that he now found himself making a lot of racket, trying to fight his way out of the cell door.
The guards were immediately there, swords drawn and pointing them towards him. Lucan rolled his eyes. “As if I’d be able to break through that – come on guys, think it through” he rolled his eyes and backed away, sliding down the wall to the floor as his back connected with it. He gave a small sigh. “There’s got to be a way of getting out of here” he said, “she can’t keep us in here forever.”

No he wasn’t the only one that thought things were wrong, and that anyone done here right now would like to give Morgana a little talking to. He had a feeling that many of the towns people would not bow to Morgana either. He really didn’t know, he only got so much information about the outside world from whispers and what he could see from the small crack that lead up to the road within the main courtyard.
“What ever happened in that year we were looking for her, something, or someone changed her”
They would never know the true meaning behind what Morgana had done. She was not a true Pendragon and he didn’t know how she was one in the first place, nor did he want to know why. She had changed there was no staying not, but what had made her changed like that, after all the years he had known Morgana she had never been like this, maybe she was hiding it away, something had made her become this way, or someone. It was no fact that Morgause was helping Morgana. Maybe that was the person who had changed Morgana, the knight would never know, it was hard to think about, all this stuff about Morgana being a Pendragon, being a different person. It made Leon wonder if she had always been like this, it made him sick to think that he got Gwen a job working for the lady and know look what had happened, he didn’t even know if Gwen was alright, only from the meeting he had seen her.
He couldn’t tell at the moment which cell Lucan was in, nor any of the other knights, because he was chained to the wall. Some days he was chained, others he wasn’t, and it went on like these. It was the same with his food and drink, some here and maybe some there and then nothing at all. It was like Morgana was trying to break him by giving him something good then taking it away right from under him. Well it wasn’t working.
“All that matters ifsthat were both alive, and be glad things didn’t get worse”
Well so far things seemed ok, sure they weren’t great but it was better than being dead. He was glad that Lucan hadn’t fallen to her, he knew he wouldn’t, but still what would happened if the knights were pushed past there limits, would Morgana win then? Leon hoped that would never happen, Morgana could push him all she wanted he wasn’t going to bow down anytime soon. Lucan was right, morgana was growing tired of the knights not giving into her will, soon she would start using things against them and Leon just hoped he could get out of here before that happened because if it did, he didn’t know what he would do.
“Please you’re not the only one. I sure she has a nice block out there waiting for my head. She thought I would give up the moment I was dragged before her”.
And had she been wrong. He would rather die. It was true, the knight would die before he called her ‘queen’. All Leon could do was listening to what was going on a few cells down. He knew that Lucan was angry, he could tell it by the tone of his voice and now by the way he was shaking the cell door. The guards weren’t stupid but they had lost all of their soul when they turned immortal and that made them not human and a little slow at times, it was the perfect way to get out of here, if they could just get past them, or try to run away from them, as he had done the first time he had met them, then they might have a chance at getting to Arthur and the others. But how could they come up with a plan if the guards were standing right there.
“There is we just have to find it. If she thinks it will help us break then she will. She’s getting desperate to find a way to make us serve her”[/blockquote][/blockquote]

“What ever happened in that year we were looking for her, something, or someone changed her” He heard Leon ask. Lucan wanted to know himself and didn't have any answers to this. He sat back against the wall to the side of the dungeon door, so he could see out should any guards happen to come for him again . Wincing slightly, he sat back against the wall and sighed. There was some damage there, that was for sure. "I have absolutely no idea..." he trailed off, "Do you think someone enchanted her?" he suggested, "I mean...before she disappeared she was pretty normal, she was the Morgana we knew. There was nothing about her that..." he paused again and gave another small sigh, "It just...it just doesn't make any sense..."
Alive? Yes but for how long? Lucan wasn't exactly looking forward to what Morgana had instore for them next. Knowing him, he'd be the first for the axe... "It wouldn't surprise me if they did though" he answered, "I mean...I practically was asking to be executed up there by the way that I was speaking to her - but of course she decided to inflict the worst kind of pain on me.." no, he didn't want to think about that. About what she could do to Camila because of him.
“Please you’re not the only one. I sure she has a nice block out there waiting for my head. She thought I would give up the moment I was dragged before her” He heard Leon say. Of course Leon wouldn't back down. He was just as determind as the rest of them. Lucan scoffed, "You? Give up? She's obviously forgotton how strong we are when it comes down to serving our king." Not a single one of these Knights down here would kneel to her. "Well, if you go for the chop, then i'll most certainly be coming with you. One thing's for sure, I'm not going down without a fight."
Was there a way out? Leon was determind to go along with this plan, and the mumbles from the others confirmed that everyone would be willing to do so too. The guards were now looking into Lucan's cell again. Obviously his little stunt earlier had made them all the more wary. Once they had walked past and had gone to resume their places, Lucan thought. There had to be a way out somewhere, the keys were on the guards belts...unreachable unless they killed the guards...which was impossible. "How can you kill an immortal army?" Lucan whispered, loud enough for Leon to hear him but low enough so that the guards couldn't.

Morgana had changed during that year she was gone. What had happened that time, no one really knew but her. No one had seen this coming; it just didn’t seem like her at all. It was all different and not from the Morgana he had seen all his life. She had been once cheerful and full of life, now she cruel and heartless. So yes something had happened, or someone had changed her. Could it be? Whoever had taken her changed her into this monster. Maybe so who could tell. He shook his head as he listened to Lucan. “I don’t know either..”, no matter how much the knight thought about it he couldn’t come up with an idea, “She could have been enchanted, I was thinking about that”, he spoke, he had been thinking the same thing, Morgana had been normal and then now this, “We know Morgause is working with her, maybe this is all her doing…”.
It’s all Leon could think, that maybe she had done something to Morgana, it wasn’t a secret that they knew that Morgause used magic. If something didn’t happen soon, he knew that they wouldn’t live much longer, Morgana was running out of idea’s to make them join her, and she would just end up killing them all. Then maybe she would get the people to see her as there ruler, if there were no more knights and maybe she would gain something from it. “I am pretty sure when I told her that I wasn’t serving her, she was about to rip off my face”. He had said he would rather die and he would say it over and over again.
Morgana had gotten quite a shock when she heard the knight say he would never serve her and his loyalty was to the King and Prince Arthur and nothing she would do would chance that. She could try everything on this knight and he would never serve him. Even in his death he would never. “She must of thought I would just bow down to her with any thought”. Yes she had forgotten how loyal the knights were to their King and prince. “I am with you on that one; even if I die down here I will never serve her in this life or the next”. She would try her best to make the knight bow to her in the next few days, and maybe who knew, this could be his end, and he would gladly die knowing that he never broke to Morgana’s will.
They had to get out of here, if they wanted to live another day and have no chance of saving Camelot from Morgana and finding the others. Praying that they were still alive. There was enough knights down here have a small group. But they would need a good plan, because the guards they would be fighting were not normal. Leon had already tried to fight them once, and he had barely gotten out of that alive. Now him, Lucan and the other knights were down here waiting for their faiths. They had to get out, there was no way around. “You can’t”, he bluntly because it was the truth, they could not be killed. “We just have to outsmart them, and wait for the right time to get out of here”. It was the only way they would be able to get out of here; maybe the immortal guards were not a smart as the knights.
