.:Physical Appearance:.
Like the belles of the Neapolitan royal family, Rosaria is an exotic beauty, standing out among the flocks of golden haired, light-eyed ladies. While still Caucasian, her skin holds a natural, light sun-kissed complexion. She possesses many aristocratic features, such as her high cheekbones, narrow nose, and plump lips. Most importantly, Rosaria has an air of grace and poise that emanates from the crown of her head to the tips of her toes. She possesses a petite and slight figure, standing at 5’5. She has a slender and tiny waist, and she doesn’t have to do much to keep in that way. Rosaria is in no way, shape, or form considered voluptuous, having soft feminine curves. There is not much definition from her bust to her waist to her hips. When dressing, Rosaria uses her garments to modify her body, lifting her bust and padding her hips to make them appear shapelier. Not having worked a day in her life, she nowhere near possesses the strength or musculature to perform any heavy lifting. However Rosaria does have some lean muscle, keeping her body toned with more recreational activities such as horse back riding. The Neapolitan royal has lustrous, curly dark brown tresses cascade to the small of her back. More often than not, Rosaria will wear her hair down or have it styled into a fashionable updo. However, she’ll confine her hair inside an elegant snood, and inside a church she well wear a veil over her head. With the aid of her wonderful, Rosaria keeps her soft and silky hair as healthy as possible. Being a fashion forward young lady, Rosaria makes sure that her hair always models the latest style and decorates it was jewels and strands of precious metals. Also, Rosaria has the most intriguing eyes. Almond in shape, they are a deep shade of brown and are framed by long, lush, black lashes. Unlike the coquettish girls that seem to surround her, Rosaria’s eyes mask her internal emotions.

.:Personality:.
The Princess of Naples is a delightful and charming young woman who seems to have everything going for her. She has a sunny and sweet disposition with a delightful laugh that is practically contagious. Rosaria is demure and nonconfrontational, bending to the will of her lords with the belief that they know best. Being raised in a god-fearing family, she is quite devout and pious, and she often gives alms to the less fortunate. Many prominent men and women in her acquaintance have described to as an angel on Earth. Along with her religious beliefs, she also firmly believes in the divine right of kings.
Despite her mandatory regal persona, Rose is full of life and possesses boundless energy, loving to dance and horseback ride for hours on end. She absolutely adores children, having helped raise her youngest siblings. Rosaria has no qualms about playing along with childish game. She actually finds them quite entertaining. These qualities, of course, make her a rather attractive young woman.
It’s such a shame most of them are an absolute lie.
Yes, Rosaria is that woman who seems lovely and wonderful on the outside, but on the inside she the smoldering, manipulative temptress who only wants to further her own ambitions. Needless to say, the Princess of Naples is quite the convincing little actress.
She is as cunning and conniving as a fox. Rose has taught herself the art of being a woman in a man’s world. The princess manipulates men to her will, not by stamping her little feet but by making her lords believe that they are indeed in charge. All it takes are a few choice words and a subtle obedient glance. How do you think she rules the court of Naples? With her appealing looks and kind heart? No! It takes ambition and spirit, two qualities that she is not lacking.
Her temper… Let’s just say her servants would much rather brave a hurricane than face Rosaria when she’s cross. There is no doubt that she’s a daughter of King Ferrante for when she gets mad there is no skimping on the fury. It’s like Vesuvius erupting ten times over. Sometime she even gets violent, smashing and destroying fragile and sometime valuable paraphernalia. It can be quite scary. Needless to say Rosaria conceals her anger in public and waits for a private moment to unleash her rage.
.:Strengths:.
X Manipulation X Sweet Talking X Patience X Knowing when to make her move X Politics X Confident X Extrovert X Charitable
X Music – sing and playing the lute X Horseback Riding – particularly fond of steeple chases X Dancing

.:Magic Abilities:. None
.:Special Skills:.
Rosaria is quite creative when it comeS to writing lyrics or composing a melody. Her family boasts that she was blessed by angels due to her talent on the lute and her gifted singing voice. She can also spin a story rather well whether it be a cunning allegory or a fabulous tale about Naples.
.:Accents:.
Rosaria has a very pronounced Neapolitan (southern Italian) accents. Her speech is fast, but fluid, and she has a tendency to roll her r’s.

.:Birthplace:. Castello di Luceleali, Naples .:Family:.
Father: King Ferrante III – a strong willed man who rules Naples with an iron fist. He is well know for his victories in battle and his merciless strategies. Though he is a just ruler, he is not a man to anger. He suspects that Federico plots to steal the crown from his older brother and fears a future civil war.
Mother: Queen Maddalena of Trastámara – some say she is king Ferrante’s better half. Maddalena is a kind-hearted queen, who tempers her husband’s anger with wise counsel.
Siblings: Alphonso, Heir Apparent & Duke of Calabria (26) – There is much debate about whether Alphonso should inherit his father’s throne. He is a womanizer and has a bit of a gambling problem. On the other hand, he is a great war hero and a skilled politcian.
Federico, Count of Lecce (23) – Some of the noble families of Naples with for Freferico to be the heir. He is much more temperate than his older brother and desires peace more than glory. Yet, some see this as being weak-willed.
Béatrice, Countess of Larsina (17) – Like her mother, Béatrice is an angel. Though a beauty in her own right, she stays in the shadow of her elder sister, fearful of Rose’s temper.
Giovanni (14) – an adventurous boy who is eager to acquire his secondary title. Wanting to be like his eldest brother, he emulates Alphonso’s more admirable qualities, not knowing about his heroic brother’s vices.
Francesco (11) – Little Francesco still clings to his mother’s skirts. He is often teased by his more outgoing sibling because of it.
.:Occupation:. Princess Royale of Naples & Duchess of Amalfi .:Current Location of Residence:. Castello di Luceleali, Naples .:History:.
Rosaria was born in the lovely Neapolitan spring as the first daughter of King Ferrante and Queen Maddalena of Naples. So delighted was the royal family that they held a celebration for five days that included feasts, a jousting tournament, and a holiday for the common folk of the realm. Yet, little Rosaria did not stay the only daughter for long for when she was two, her mother gave birth to another girl whom her parents named Béatrice. Then when she was five, Maddalena gave birth to another son and had one more son after him when Rosaria was eight.
From a young age, Rosaria was tutored in reading, writing, languages, music, dancing, and all of the other skills and social graces she needed to be an accomplished lady of royal blood. Having been bestowed a great deal of confidence and aptitude for learning, the first princess of Naples excelled in her studies, while her little sister was a bit slower. Rosaria often flaunted her superior skills to her parents, teasing Béatrice for sport. She believed it was her sisterly privilege, and no one ever stopped her. So poor Béatrice had to put up with her.
At the tender age of fourteen, Rosaria made her debut in the Neapolitan court, and she was an absolute sensation. With her beauty and grace, the princess stole the spotlight from every leading lady in the court, and she did not give it up for anything, not even her own sister’s debut. It wasn’t her fault that Béatrice wasn’t as charismatic as her. From that day on, Rosaria made sure she ruled the court.
Unfortunately for most of her life, Naples is often at war with foreign countries whose monarchs declare that they have a more legitimate claim to the throne of Naples. This is what her family gets because her great-great-great grandfather had too many children and married them into every royal family he could. Yet, she figured that the Almighty was on their side for King Ferrante has never let the opposition invade Naples.
Now to keep his adversaries at bay, the king desires to strengthen and make new alliances with every possible kingdom, sending only his best emissaries. Using his second son’s talent in diplomacy, King Ferrante charged Federico with the task to personally handle all new alliances. However, the king did not trust the prince enough to send him on his own, so he sent Rosaria to accompany him and to serve as a reminder of familial duty.
