Setting: A forest trail in late spring
Time of day: Late Afternoon
Timeline: Three weeks after Freya's family passed away
It had been three weeks that day, sense Freya's family had passed away. And she couldn't get the memory of all the wonderful times she had Sitting by the lake that surrounded their little house in spring while watching the wild flowers sway in the wind. Teaching her little brothers how to swim in the shallows of the lake, helping her mother with the baking. It had been wonderful, until one day when she decided to go into the forest to pick herbs by herself.
It had started like any other day, she got up ate breakfast, then went and did her chores. She had decided to do the last thing on her list first, which was to go pick herbs in the forest for her mother. So she picked up her basket, and put on a light cloak, and headed out the door. She was only about a quarter mile into the woods when she heard screams coming from her home. She immediately dropped her basket and ran as fast as she could back to her family. Ten minuets had passed by until she reached her home. She rushed up to the front door and pushed it open. She stopped immediately, shocked, no not shocked, there wasn't a word for what she was feeling. Her family, her wonderful, loving family, had been slaughtered in the twenty minuets of her absence. The next day she buried her family by the lake, she also did a spell to preserve there graves, so nobody would be able to dig them up. Later that evening she had packed her bag, grabbed her warmest cloak, and left. She thought that anywhere was better then here. She didn't care where she went, or what happened to her, anything was better then staying at the place that held the most painful memories. Anything.
