.:Name of Character:. Queen Saria de Barbarac
.:Nick Name:. Saria, My Lady, My Queen
.:Status:. Royalty| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Saria de Barbarac is a very beautiful woman with a smooth, pale complexion that is not blemished with spots, acne or other. She has the palest blue eyes that shine like jewels of high and sometimes decorated with golden jewellery. Saria has quite big, pale pink lips, sometimes dressed in blood red for balls and feasts of celebration. Dark brown locks of curls are draped around and styled to her hair, usually braids that are decorated by her maids. She is usually dressed with a jewel or other on her forehead and in her hair.
Saria doesn't wear much jewellry on her person, except for earrings and two rings. One was from her father when she turned eighteen, and another was her mothers ring that her father had married her with. That ring is a beautiful and huge sapphire in the middle of pure gold. Saria de Barbarac wears beautiful elegant dresses, usualy royal colours like red, peach, purple, and always draped in beads and gems.
.:Portrayed by:. Laura Haddock| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Saria is an asset to most people, her loyalty coming first in everything. She is a caring and loving person, thwarted by the evil and brutality that is the world. Saria de Barbarac has much love to give since she had no one left to love, and she needs a person to care for her.
After losing her parents, she feels unloved and unwanted, wishing for more than what she has. She has become distant and disturbed by the past. Saria has no friendship with anyone. She can sometimes lash out at people and take things differently than what they were meant to.
.:Strengths:. Saria doesn't have many strengths. One may be her loyalty, as she will keep secrets and be discreet, never letting truth slip even if her life depended on it. Another may be that she can spot out most bad guys as she has dealt with much loss in her life. And another can be that she is good at advice, as she has lost and loved, Saria can dish out her thoughts.
.:Weaknesses:. Saria can be very malicious and lash out with her feelings hurt. Since her past was destroyed and her title tarnished, she can get very defensive. She is a very bad fighter, with a sword, bow and arrow, or marce, or any other weapon. Saria had not been trained at all by anyone since she was a woman. Another is that Saria can and will do anything for those she loves. Sometimes that can be seen for either strength or weakness, but usually it is bad that she will do for those she loves.

.:Birthplace:. The Kingdom of Telmar
Lorenzo "Enzo" de Barbarac • Father ~ Saria has had a great relationship with her father since she was born, often going out into the woods for horse riding races that she would usually win. She was given a pure solid ring on her eighteenth birthday from him which she never takes off. He was a gentle and caring man which is where she gets her nature from.
Amalie de Barbarac • Mother ~ Despite her mother's wishing for a son, she gained a most beautiful daughter in Saria. She took more of Enzo's caring nature but took up her mothers temper. Saria and Amalie never did much together as she cared greatly for her father than her mother, though now she greatly misses her and never takes off her wedding ring.
.:Current Location of Residence:. Telmar
.:History:. After twenty eight hours of pain and labour, Amalie de Barbarac bore her husband, Lorenzo de Barbarac, a daughter in pink. Though he was desperate for a male heir as he aged quickly, he was overjoyed to have gained a daughter. Enzo named his daughter Saria, after his twin sister who had drowned when he was four.
Saria de Barbarac grew loving and caring, taking after her father much. Her mother had wished for a son to take over when they became old and too tired, but Telmar was a kingdom with a law that no female, without a male husband, can be Queen. Amalie's hope for a son after Saria was thwarted as she was too old to bear any more children for the King. Though not like most Kings, Enzo did not banish her for a younger maiden as he had loved her since he first set eyes upon her.
One day, her mother and father set sail for another newfoundland across the great sea, and so Saria, aged seventeen, was appointed acting Regent as she waited for them to retern. Sadly, they never would, for Amalie and Enzo de Barbarac had died at sea as their ship sank. Saddened deeply by this news, Saria overthrew the laws and became Queen, despite her many Knights and followers leaving for other Kingdoms. Yet Saria vowed to be a great Queen, and follow in her father's footsteps, creating the greatest Kingdom ever heard of.
