He'd clearly caught her in a good mood. Lucan wasn't sure whether that was a good thing or bad. In his eyes yes, good would be delightful but then again with Caitrin - her mood could change rapidly, especially with her condition.
"No problem" he nodded as she thanked him, "I wouldn't have let you pick them up anyway"
He smiled lightly as she told him that she was well. That was ok then - had she said anything else then he would have been concerned. Lucan knew nothing of women and carrying children so he couldn't determine whether the sign of achyness was good or not.
"Im well thankyou, i've just finished patrolling actually - were you on your way to anywhere in particular?" he asked, not wanting to keep her if she had somewhere to be.

The mid afternoon rush of people made Lucan's head spin slightly. It was the time where everyone would be bustling about trying to finish off outstanding chores, starting new ones, buying or selling. Lucan himself had a battle to get through the hoard of people in the market place. He'd been patrolling and had finally finished, readying himself for an afternoon of battering Yvain on the training field, and then after the days work was over - visiting Camila. Just that thought alone brought a smile to his face. Not long now and he would call her his wife.
Lucan wove himself in and around people leaving the courtyard and entering. Unfortunatly he made the error walking straight into some poor woman and knocking all the contents of her basket to the ground. "Im sorry my lady" he quickly apologised as she was also doing the same. Then he saw the red hair...
“Oh... Lucan.”
"Lady Caitrin" he nodded and knelt down to gather her things from the floor. "Here let me get these for you." He couldn't allow her to pick them up in her condition, let alone pick them up anyway. The family reunion hadn't exactly been the most delightful of experiances, but then again - no Aubert Family reunion ever was. Lucan was just hoping that one day he and Caitrin could actually get along.
Placing her things back into her basket, he handed it back to her. "Are you well?" he asked noting seeing her place one hand on her back and another over her stomach before, as she'd gone to pick up her things.

He felt like such an idiot down on the floor on one knee. Had Griff seen him right now then he would have made some joke or just stood grinning like a cheshire cat in the corner. Thankfully he wasn't there and that was enough for Lucan. He knew that one day she would have to meet his dysfunctional family - he'd rather her meet his Uncle Allard first, purely because he wasn't as nuts about marriage and heirs as his father, and again Griff wouldn't be there to say anything sardonic. When the time came, then he would allow her to meet his brother, but for now his uncle would do just fine.
WAIT...YES?
Did she just say yes? or was he actually hearing it all wrong? She had said yes? Ok he had to make sure, but then again she was now saying that she would and had said it louder. Oh...my...goodness... She was going to be his wife, he was going to be her husband...
It looked as though she was going to have to put up with him far more now. He looked up at her and smiled as she turned red, taking the ring and slipping it on her finger gently. He was still in a daze that she'd accepted, whereas she herself looked like she had her head in the clouds.
"Are you alright?" he grinned and finally rose from his position on the floor.

Age: 45 Spouse: Helena de Ireby (deceased)
Other Family: Amice de Ireby-Aubert - Sister (deceased) Corenous Aubert - Brother in Law Lucan Aubert - Nephew Griflet Aubert - Step Nephew
Face Claim: David Morrisey
History:
Allard has lived in Camelot all his life, taking over the family estate when his father died from an early age. His wife died without bearing any children and therefore he has no son to leave the estate to - instead leaving it to his nephew Lucan when the time comes. Allard enjoys his nephews company when he visits as he can become quite lonely, but never shows it. Since Lucan arrived in Camelot, Allard took it upon himself to become a father-like figure to him, rather than an uncle, knowing the strained relationship he has with Corneous.

Lucan knew that that moment his father met Rouland it would all kick off from there. "I am surprised we have not met earlier." great, don't say it...don't even say it.... "And to what do we owe the pleasure of this visit?"
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand there it was! Welldone Rouland, a very smooth and awkward introduction. Lucan could've buried his head in his hands at that moment, but chose to remain in his corner that he'd taken up. Corneous, however was now answering Rouland's question. This could only go badly.
"Indeed, I unfortunatly could not make the wedding - i've been in ill health for sometime, however i've managed to muster some strength to come here today to meet my new daughter in law, and to congratulate my son on their news." Lucan would've said touche at that moment, but didn't. "I've heard all good things from Lucan about Caitrin and your family" the older gentleman smiled.
Lucan took this moment to shoot a glance at Griff and nod sincerly. He had never spoken out against Caitrin - no matter how much they did not get on. He just needed the family to build some bridges with one another rather than fight all the time. At least then there would be some unity and stability between both. If Camila was to marry into his family then he at least needed to prepare them. Now that his brother was to be a father, he could at least try to rebuild the ever crumbling relationship they had and support him as any older brother should.

Lucan listened to what Camila wanted him to do, should anything happen like this again. He'd already put her through hell and he supposed that not writing to her hadn't helped. Lucan nodded after she'd finished, seeing the tears start to fall again. He felt so guilty for what he'd put her through already, that he wasn't going to start getting all moral. Again he wiped some of the tears away with his thumb and smiled at her. "I promise." and he truly meant it, "You have my word."
"Y-y-your wife?"
"Well you could always be the husband if you wanted" he chuckled, "but pink doesn't really bring out my eyes, so I think I should keep that role." But yes, now it was down to business of why he had come. Not only just to see her, but to finally do something that he'd never thought he actually would. Yes he would most likely look like a total mug whilst doing so, or screw up the words - perhaps even faint depending on the mood - but now the time had come.
Lucan dug into his pocket, hands finally finding what he was looking for. It had been passed down by his grandmother on his father's side, and his father had told him his mother never wore it anyway. Corneous (who Lucan was sure was swinging from the roof of Glouchedon Manor when he told him) had given it to him should he happen to finally find a wife in Camelot. Lucan just hoped that Camila would be the person to wear it.
He took her hand gently in his and got down on one knee, looking up at her with a serious expression now on his face. "Camila..." he started, hearing some movement outside and knowing that both her parents were most likely out there. He chose to ignore it and carried on. "Will you marry me?"

Well this was going to be a pleasant reunion - already their father was being un-cooperative and Griff trying to keep his temper. Lucan gave Corneous a nudge in order for him to say something to Caitrin. The older man bowed his head to her, "Lady Caitrin, at last we meet, Lucan has told me all about you, your Uncle is most kind of having me come here to your home." At this, Corenous looked from Caitrin to Griff and nodded at his youngest. "Griflet, It's good to see you again. I suppose congratulations are in order" He held out his hand for his son to shake.
Lucan watched as his father decided to make 'progress', he only hoped that the meeting would go smoothly and that it would all be over soon enough. He looked to Caitrin and nodded as to make some peace with her. He didn't want to argue with a pregnant woman because he knew that when it came down to it, no one would win. Griffs voice finally filled the air, suggesting that they go inside. Thank goodness for breaking an awkward moment. Both he and Griff were experts in that field, so at least they had something in common. "Good idea" he nodded and looked to Caitrin, "Will Lord Rouland be joining us?" Rouland wouldn't miss out on having his say about the whole thing.
"Ah yes, I would very much like to meet Lord Rouland" Corneous nodded in approval. Lucan had seen the look that Griff had given him earlier, obviously this was all Lucan's fault yet again, but it had to be done. His father and Elaine had to know - broken family or not.
"Yes, lets go inside; my Uncle is waiting to receive us all." at least Caitrin was agreeing. Corneous now clapped his hands together. "Excellent, I shall allow you two to lead the way then."
Lucan waited until his father had passed him, following Griff and Caitrin inside. He really didn't fancy following but knew he had to. Taking a deep breath, he finally followed everyone else inside.

Had Rouland just said what Lucan thought that he had said? No...no way... He raised his brows and looked at the older man in disbelief; "Pardon?" It was a good job he was sitting down, otherwise he would've fainted from shock - then again this was Griff and there was no surprises with him. So why was Lucan in some kind of shock?
Caitrin was pregnant. Griff was going to be a father and Lucan...
Uncle Luc? oh no! No way was he going to be called that! Had his father had been here right now then he would've gone mad. However Lucan remained calm. There was really no point in becoming so angry at...WHAT AN IDIOT! Griff just couldn't restrain himself could he? Yes they were married and technically the child hadn't been concieved out of wedlock, but seriously?! Now?! Lucan was going to wring his brother's neck when he saw him.
"I take it you're not exactly jumping for joy at the prospect of a mini Griff either" Lucan sat back and folded his arms. With a small sigh he shook his head. "I should've seen this coming, I knew I should've..." he muttered to himself.

Lord Rouland? What on earth was he doing he...wait. Oh dear, If Rouland was here then it meant that something wasn't right. Lucan nodded as he came in. "Lord Rouland" he greeted him and gestured for him to sit down, "and what do I owe this surprising pleasure?"
"I have some news to deliver to you." Oh great. That was all he needed, "And no prizes for guessing who it is about."
Lucan frowned, "No doubting that it's about Griff and Caitrin" He rolled his eyes. Rouland did not look at all happy, so obviously Griflet must have done something to cause such annoyance. The pair did live under Rouland's roof after all, and Lucan knew that Rouland liked nothing better than peace and wine. The two men had both the same opinion and Lucan was sure that Rouland wouldn't have come to him if he didn't want to rant about matters that didn't interest Luc - and therefore Lucan was prepared for anything that Rouland had to throw at him.
Lucan sat down opposite where Rouland was and folded his arms, "Come on then, hit me with it - What's he done?"

Lucan looked up as a knock on the door sounded the room. He was busy writing a letter to Camila, and was even contemplating on writing one to Griff; he had not heard from his brother since his wedding to Lady Caitrin. He had accepted Griff's choice of wife for his brother's sake, but both he and Caitrin Uncle Rouland were thinking the same thoughts when it came to the union of their two familes...
Screwed.
Of course his father hadn't been present, choosing to write back that he was too ill too attend. Lucan knew his father wasn't in the best health, but he could've at least tried to make an effort to attend. Elaine hadnt attended either. Lucan wondered whether his father would actually acknowledge his brother anymore, given the fact that he'd practically disowned him already. Lucan knew that Corneous still cared for Griff's welfare, but he seemed to be relying on Lucan to provide it now. Thankfully Griff had a mind of his own, so Lucan had strayed into the background when it came own to accomodation and choices of wife. But he was always there should Griff ever need him - not that his brother would think that he was. It appeared that Griff hated him as much as he hated their father.
He put down the quill and looked towards the door. Who on earth was knocking at this time of morning? "Enter." he called and waited to see who, on the other side, would walk in.

Lucan really wasn't in the mood for all of this, let alone Caitrin's remarks about seeing him again. "I'm sure it's very nice" he retorted, "I know how much you love an argument, but that's not why i'm here so I wouldn't even bother trying to pick one with me." No - she would most likely do so with his father, who was yet to arrive. Lucan looked back to Griff, ignoring Caitrin and her sardonic attitude. "Anyway in all honesty i've no idea why I have to be here to witness this meltdown."
The sound of horses hooves managed to interrupt the moment and Lucan looked over his shoulder to where a carriage was thumbling into the courtyard. Corneous Aubert had arrived. "Excuse me..." he nodded to his brother, gave Caitrin a glare of daggers and walked over where it had rumbled to a halt. Lucan opened the door, inside his father was sat there looking pale but ready to fight so it seemed. Oh dear, this wasn't good. "Father" he nodded. Corneous looked to Lucan and smiled; not having seen him for years. "Hello my boy" he replied and took Lucan's hand that was now extended. Helping him from the carriage. "So...this is the beginning of the end?" he asked, looking over to his youngest son and daughter in law. If Griff had heard that he would've now gone mental.
Lucan shot a warning look at his father. "Don't provoke him - we all agreed to this." Yes. At some extent. Lucan had no choice in the matter where Corneous was concerned. His father now gave a small chuckle. "Don't worry Lucan, out of all the battles i've seen, this won't be the bloodiest."
"You sure about that?" Lucan asked uncertainly, "Because you've not met your daughter in law."
Corneous looked over to Caitrin and raised his brows. "Ah yes, the little red headed 'wonder', oh well you know what they say...'if looks could kill'." Lucan rolled his eyes; trust his father to start off something before he'd even said hello. "Where's Elaine?" Lucan asked, "Didn't she want to see Griff?"
"I told her that she was better off doing what she does best; staying at home until this is all sorted. I cannot have her upset too. Anyway she sends her reguards." Corneous explained.
"Im sure she does..." Lucan trailed off as Corenous looked at him. It was a look that Lucan had never seen his father express before. "Father?" This made Corneous shake himself from his thoughts. "Sorry...For a moment there...I was just taking in what I had...." Corneous told him, and on seeing the curious expression on his elder son's face, he clapped a hand on his shoulder. "Your mother would be proud." Lucan smirked and shook his head. "We can talk about mother later, right now we've got bigger problems on our hands."
"Ah yes...the subject of my future grandchild...I cannot wait." Corenous replied a little distastefully. "It was kind of Lord Rouland to agree to this though."
"Oh I think that Roly's going to enjoy it just as much as you are father..." Lucan gave his father a knowing look and then walked beside him over to where Caitrin and Griff were standing waiting for them. "Caitrin, this is my father Corenous..." Lucan introduced them and looked to his father who said nothing, instead just looking his daughter in law up and down, "...who appears to have a throat infection" Lucan rolled his eyes at his father's coldness.
Yes...this was the beginning of the battle, and Corenous Aubert was already leading them in.

Well this was all going to end in tears, Luc could so much as say that now he was here at the de Archer estate. His father had insisted that he would be well enough to make the journey to Camelot to sort out 'this monstrosity'. It was the first time that Lucan had actually heard back from his father since Griff had been possessed to marry Caitrin and make himself and Lord Rouland watch. Lucan and Rouland had already discussed with one another the welfare of both parties. It was very unlike Lucan to object to such a thing, but when it came to Griff? Well...he'd objected every single mad thought in his brother's head since the day he'd turned up in Camelot.
Luc dismounted from his horse and passed it to one of the stablehands. He wasn't going to get involved with this unless he really had to. It was his father who had requested this little family reunion, much to Lucan's dislike. The Duke was still clearly ill but being just as stubborn as his youngest son, he'd decided that he wanted to meet this Caitrin and right any wrongs if it was the last thing he did. Lucan was more worried about his father's welfare in all honesty - Elaine would not be joining them (and this made Lucan curious to know why). Lucan saw his brother appear at the entrance to the manor and gave him a wry look. There were far more better things he could be doing this evening, rather than sit and wait for the war between his father and brother to begin. He was starting to wish that he hadn't written now; he didn't think that Corneous would take the measures that he was doing now, Lucan would've thought that his father would've written back with some bitter morals about being family and how he was disappointed even more so with Griflet's actions. Indeed he'd written just that, and then decided to slip in the news of a meeting at the last moment.
"I hope you've got a few stiff drinks lined up" he sighed as he came face to face with the new father to be. Lucan really wasn't thinking about the fact that he was going to be an uncle. He'd make the worst one ever, and he was going to state that to Griff -should he get any 'babysitting' ideas into his head. "I have a bad feeling about this whole thing."

“But if Arthur choose to hold a ‘let’s act properly like nobles would’ stand-off I’d be quite the laughing stock,” Lucan smirked at this, "You're better than you think - besides, it's not all about putting on an act - it's about who we are". He looked at Percival over the rim of his cup knowingly. “As son of a duke, you know a lot of things that I don’t. All is fair in the world, Lucan.” Lucan almost choked on his drink, "have you been taking all this wiseness from Merlin?" he asked.
Lucan could've almost passed out now they were on the mention of Camila. Percival could obviously see the effect she had on him as now he was telling him not to blush! This only made Lucan turn even more of a darker shade of red than before. "I...I'm not..." by admitting he wasn't in love would just be stupid. Everyone could see how besotted he was by her. "Ok I am" he sighed, "Truth is that I fell for her the first time I laid eyes on her." and that was something that he had never admitted before. Not even to Cam. Beautiful? well that was an understatement in Lucan's view. "She's amazing" he told his friend, "and she's what keeps me going - I really have no idea how I survived before she came along." Only by Yvain helping to fend off any female that came within a 10 mile radius of him, and then there was the passing out. Camila made Lucan feel brand new - and he liked it.
"Hmmmmm" Lucan now looked under the table at their boots, "Well you do have excetionally large feet" he mused, laughing as Percvial asked who shone his boots. "The boot fairy". Lucan gestured for the barmaid to bring a couple of more drinks their way. He was enjoying this. "Anyway enough about boots, what I want to know is how you're getting on, adjusting to this new life." he asked and pushed Percival's drink his way as the barmaid placed them down.
He shook his head at Percival's modest reply, even if it was a very good one. "Gwaine could charm his way into a nunnery" he snorted, "I'm not even going to count the amount of women who were rallying around him the other evening." He looked to Percival, "thankfully, and for your own sanity if i may add, I can kind of see that you're a watcher, and I don't mean that in an offensive way" he added. Percival did seem quite a shy character in some perspective, and Lucan had not really seen that side of him. "Anyway i'll shut up now." he smirked, not wanting to make his new friend uncomfortable anymore.

"Well, only one of us will go down as the prettiest, and I think we both know which one of that will be." Lucan snorted at this, "Why Sir Gwaine, you are too kind, but as much as it pains me to say this - I prefer women" He gave Gwaine a small smirk and carried on looking around.
Lucan chuckled to himself from inside the barrel, Gwaine really had to be on alert and now it seemed he was just oblivious to what was following him! He quickly waddled behind the knight, setting the barrel down so it was still for a few moments, before taking a few more steps and setting it down again. He could still see Gwaine looking around, swishing his sword in every direction possible. Time to up the test. He made a large bang on the side of the barrel to catch Gwaine's attention, and kept it still.
This could be a brilliant hideout if one was escaping the dorocca. No doubt that Gwaine would disagree and choose a tavern where he could just drink himself to death, rather than suffer the big freeze. Lucan watched and waited for Gwaine's impressive skills to come to handy - choosing the right moment to jump out and give the 'enemy' the element of surprise.

Lucan grinned, "You are anything but a mess - and even if you were then you'd still be a beautiful one".He gave her hand a squeeze, "Everyone is broken in someway by this, but you'll mend in time." and that was a promise. He couldn't see his Camila like that.
He was thankful that she listened to what he had to say, he knew that he should've told her that long before they'd even decided to court but saying it now meant that Camila would know and prepare herself for anything that could happen. He was going to enjoy his days with her even if they were limited.
She was angry at him now, he could tell and had been waiting for this since he'd set foot in the house. "I couldn't get your hopes up only to have them dashed" he began, "There was always a high risk within the first week, that Morgana would try to hit Camelot with something else. Everyone was on alert, and if something like that had happened, and you'd only just have heard that I was alright, then you would've been broken". He sighed, "Your father and I exchanged messages because of this, and also to keep him updated with the current situation in Camelot. I wanted to wait for the right moment - until I knew that all was well again - to see you. and as I said before, I'm sorry for making you wait." He kissed the tops of her hands that he'd taken in his.
Lucan swallowed and looked to Camila. "The subject of me making you my wife". He told her, "I came here today to speak with your father about it..." he paused, "He's given me permission."

Lucan brushed a few more tears away that were rolling down her cheeks. "I'm sorry." She was apologising? For what? Lucan shook his head. “Don’t apologise, you have nothing to be sorry for” he said gently, “It’s been a rough ride for everyone, but it’s over now, Camelot is rebuilding itself and so are the people’s lives within it.”
Camila’s face changed when he told her of what he’d do if ever he came face to face with Morgana again. It was as though she was scared for him, of what could happen. That was something that Camila would have to come to terms with if they were carry on courting or even marry. "No! Lucan, please!" she looked up at him, “Cam…” he started but she carried on.
"She didn't do this. Not of her own hands. I brought this upon myself. I shouldn't have fought back but I had no intention of letting them take me without trying."
“Camila” he tried to stop her again but she had more to say.
"I don't want her anywhere near you. I can't bare the thought of what she might do to you."
“Camila!” he raised his voice slightly to put his point across. He sighed. “It’s what I have to do, should Morgana dare come to Camelot again then I don’t have a choice but to stand up to her, it’s my duty – as much as I hate to say this I have to, there will be events such as this where it looks probable that I might not come back, but I need you to understand that this is what I have to do. I’m a Knight of Camelot – I can’t just back down because you can’t bear to think of me anywhere near the enemy” he smiled. “And I’m saying this to you now because I know that one day; something else could happen that may take me away from you.” He wanted her to understand that he wouldn’t live forever in the job that he was in. he and his brothers laid down their lives for Camelot and everyone in it. “I want you to always remember that no matter what – I will always love you and I’ll never stop.” He brushed a few strands of hair from her face.
"I-I love you, too."
Lucan leant in and laid a gentle kiss on her lips. “You are everything to me Cam, everything that I could possibly imagine…” he paused, this was the right time to tell her of the real nature of his visit, “I’ve spoken to your father about certain matters that have been brought up in some of the letters that I’ve exchanged with him…” he explained, “including one that was brought up a lot…”

Lucan caught up with Leon who was now giving him the lowdown on the search. Nothing from him either. That seemed inevitable - if she knew that every Knight of Camelot was out scouring the castle for her, then she wouldn’t remain there. “There hasn’t been any sign of her, I’ve got guards looking down in the lower towns, and most of the others are looking as well”. Lucan nodded at this. “A few others are searching the forests too, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack” Lucan sighed and looked down to his chest when Leon asked how he was holding up.
“It’s just a scratch” he shook his head, “or maybe a crack? Never the less I’m fine” he told him, “I’m more worried about Camila and her family than my own health.” He chuckled and clutched his chest as he did. Ok, perhaps he should get Gaius to check on it tomorrow. Right now he had no time to take some bed rest or whatever the physician prescribed. “And how are you? No life threatening injuries?” He asked. Leon seemed to have more lives than a cat. “and I should think the answer is no – you’re indestructible” Luc smirked.
Lucan looked around one last time, just to be sure that Morgana or any other enemy was not watching them. “I was just about to go and search the tunnels if you wanted to come with me, that seems like the only other place to look that I can think of right now, and I’m pretty sure no one else has gone down there.”

Lucan smiled to himself as Leon agreed that it wasn’t just Lucan who wanted to do some ‘talking’ with Morgana. He could hear a fair few mutters from his friends as they seemed to all want to do the same as both Leon and Lucan.
The knight rose to his feet, wincing slightly as the pain ran across his chest. A couple of broken ribs weren’t going to stop him. He walked over to the bars of the cell door and steadied himself against them, his head connecting with the cool bar. “Of all things…how could she do this to us? To the King and Arthur.” He growled, not knowing whether anyone could hear him. “It makes me wish we’d never spent wasting all of that time finding her.”
He looked through the bars; there were two of the guards standing by the entrance to the dungeons. And a few other cells. Lucan wasn’t sure what one Leon was in. He knew that Yvain and a few others were in the one next to him. “I’m thankful your still alive, even if the circumstances surrounding it were not as pleasant.” He told Leon, “Knowing my luck they’re building a scaffold outside for me” he chuckled slightly, “I wasn’t exactly the most courteous when I was taken to see her.” No he wasn’t, and now Camila was in danger. This angered Lucan when thinking about it even more. So angry that he now found himself making a lot of racket, trying to fight his way out of the cell door.
The guards were immediately there, swords drawn and pointing them towards him. Lucan rolled his eyes. “As if I’d be able to break through that – come on guys, think it through” he rolled his eyes and backed away, sliding down the wall to the floor as his back connected with it. He gave a small sigh. “There’s got to be a way of getting out of here” he said, “she can’t keep us in here forever.”

Lucan shot a look at Gwaine – he seemed quite twitchy despite cracking a joke here or there. Gwaine was always one for humour at the most awkward of times, and it seemed as though this patrol would be no exception.
“What’s wrong? Not going through some kind of alcoholic relapse are you?” a small smirk appeared on Lucan’s lips. “I know this isn’t exactly the most thrilling of patrols but seeing as no one else wanted to volunteer, I guess we’ll go down in history as the prettiest Dorocca fodder” Hopefully that would lighten the mood. He knew that Gwaine didn’t want to be out here as much as he did – but it wouldn’t be long now before they could clock off for the evening and have a good night’s sleep.
Of course Gwaine would mention ale at a time like this. “Define quick” Lucan rolled his eyes, “anyway I’m sure you can go another hour or so without a drink” he shrugged.
"Was that from Yvaine's tackle?"
“Pretty much – I think I bruised his ego more when I sent him rolling across the field” Lucan smirked at the showdown earlier and stuck his head down a side alley. Nothing. Thank goodness. Just a barrel. Something then clocked in Lucan’s head and he turned to Gwaine.
“Keep on walking, I thought I saw something down here… I’ll circle and meet you at the next alleyway” he told him and set off down the alleyway.
Time to lighten the mood a little more and put Gwaine to the test. The barrel was large enough for Lucan to put over his head and set down without even being noticed that he was inside it. He was going to follow Gwaine and see if he clocked on. Now this would be fun. Putting the barrel over his head, there was a small hole that meant he could look through and see where he was going. As Gwaine walked on, he didn’t seem to be noticing the barrel with legs following him.

SMACK!
Lucan felt his body connect with the floor of the cell and the door closing with the final turn of the lock.
“Well that was fun” he groaned slightly. It had been anything but. Morgana had been very persistent with her blackmail and now it seemed as though Camila was going to pay the price because he wouldn’t recognise her as ‘Queen’. “Thanks guys – same time tomorrow?” he raised his brows to the guards who said nothing and walked off.
“You’re not dead then?” Yvain called out from another cell as jovially as he could, “All of us down here thought that you were tonight’s meal”
Lucan somehow found that he had to smirk at this. “I nearly was”. Yvain said no more and once again there was silence in the dungeon. Lucan hated it – usually he and his brothers would be laughing and joking around – constantly taking digs at one another and how they would fight like girls. Despite the current situation, Lucan just wanted to keep everyone going – to show Morgana that not even the biggest of threats would weaken them. There was only one thing for it…………
“Hey…Leon” he called out, wondering where the second in command was, “I spy with my little eye – something beginning with ‘When we next see Morgana then I’ll let my sword do all the talking…’”
Well, When all else failed….
