This was going to be a whirl wind of notions and questions. Kory was still sure he'd just answer as always. In the same similar fashion. Not a lot of emotion. Maybe it was intentional. Was this man trying to just hide any and every emotion? Kory was sure despite trying to shield such things, he maybe not realising it that there were vast hints of them. Or maybe Kory was just creating them. No, Kory was sure she was seeing signs here and there. It was beginning to feel as if she was the fire and he was the smoke. Kory was hoping she could find a way to light him up. Push or pull something and see if there are any sparks. Any flames, in the ash. Kory smiled. For though he appeared lifeless as a smoke and silently deadly. There was just something there at her eyes just wanted to capture. Or more wanted to find where such intriguing emotions came from. What was special about this man? Every person. Man. Woman. Child. Were unique. There was beauty and greatness in everybody. There was just something else. It wasn't something Kory was planning. Kory never thinks about whether or not she would do something or feel something, she just does it. If it works out well or not at all. Kory never regrets, life was too short and time couldn't be changed. This was much the same for her emotions. Kory had little control. It was much like love. It isn't something one really chooses, it chooses you. Kory felt the same with every emotion. They were meant to be felt whether they were wrong or right in another's eyes, they were anything than strange.
Kory's eyes played upon him as he had gathered her own words and came to give her his. Even though there was confusion in them and on some level Kory figured he was doing it on purpose. It didn't make her feel overly uncomfortable or unease. Kory just admired how he just stood for every word he could, he was hiding maybe. Saying very little, but if this was just all an act. Then Kory was fooled. There was just something there, she just wanted to take and keep her intrigued. Kory wanted to know more of these emotions he hinted or was possibly hiding. Her eyes then searched as he folded his arms. The playful smile which she very much liked just like the last and she was sure the same for the next one. Kory took his arms from him trying to show his confidence and comfortable in such moments. Though Kory also read that he was possibly shielding, maybe nerved to be opened. Maybe this man was nerved at her wishing for his company. Seeking something good that he thought there none to be. Kory knew nothing of anything other than the footsteps that led him here. Kory was wondering if maybe she was one of few that had wished for his company, if even less than that. Kory could not speak for another. Or really him. Should there be something unique in the fact that she had wished for such a thing. She hadn't of wanted this to be a bad thing. So far he was delightful company. Deserving of a chance. A chance to be heard. Maybe he was comforted by his own words, but Kory was sure hers might aid in just a little something. There could be a little need of just a little extra fire. Kory smiled brightly. Her eyes shone like green stars.
"I'd rather fail greatly then not having tried, I hold no regrets."
Kory set her words in motion. Flying truth to his ears. She didn't mind whether they hit well or not. Her voice had remained rather gentle and calm. Her eyes played to the expression. Kory would much prefer to at least try; than just give up. Not that giving up was much in her ways. Kory was maybe not the strongest and skilled warrior of them all, but her bravery was quite thick. Which was why Kory avoided the final battle unless provoked and there was little choice. She was trained to go all out. Kory wasn't going down without a fight. Though as Kory played over what was rather natural in her ways. Kory was wondering if this man would care to keep her impressed. Kory's eyes shifted downwards. There was little doubt, he was quite amusing. Kory's head turned. Did he know he was? Kory laughed softly. He probably did.
There was a hint of a strength in his eyes that was stronger then previous as he returned her gaze. Trying to pull Kory even deeper into this strange new world. Even if it was meant to maybe push her away. It was doing quite the opposite. In between it was just that need she had to turn away, but Kory couldn't control looking back again. Pulling her in what ever world he had wished her to be. Was there a way. Kory could maybe pull him in. Her eyes then moved tracing how she could. Though as Kory was being pulled it still made her rather comfortable. Not really having the sense of complete control. This was something different... Kory's soft features softened more. It was a hint of a game and it wasn't something Kory was wishing there to be winners or losers. Maybe never ending was best, but no she wasn't sure this is how this was played for him. He wanted to be challenged and she couldn't blame him.
For that one moment Kory was driven from his gaze. Where she had literally ripped herself away from. She noted he was pleased in his lips. Was that just a hint. Or was he pleased he had won that moment. Which ever it was. Kory liked this effect. Kory as she felt just a touch vulnerable for just a silent moment. His eyes never left her. Watching the fire move around in her skin, though the flames never weakened. They were just of a different strength. There was the essence of interest rather than judgement. It stirred her just that bit more. Something deeply stuck in the core of the fire. He wasn't taken back from this hint of her humanity. He hadn't maybe seen it strange. It was accepted. Trust was maybe tightened just a little more just then. As he remained silent and kept what she felt were warm eyes. In a good way. Drawing her back slowly to him.
It had taken some of her breath as her laughter seemed for a split second shook him. It was maybe not the response he had intended. He hadn't seen the laughter as foolish nerves. For they weren't. Her laughter was real and trying to amuse him. Not make fun of him. Like always, Respect. She was pleased mostly when others were pleased, amused. For then it pleased and amused her. Kory didn't play too much whether she would continue the laughing. It wasn't something again she thought about doing, she just did it when it was true. How she felt. Though her lips soften at his expression. She found his slightly ore of her quite content. As if there was maybe just a hint he just couldn't quite place her. Kory lowered her head in thought. This was probably not what he was trying to find himself, but what Kory was trying to find in him.
Kory's eyes ran over him as there was a hint he took her licking her arm as something he didn't expect, but it seemed to peak something inside him. It hadn't been something she had intentionally to impress him, it was just something to amuse him and being her. Her eye sight soften and dipped her head in soft laughter. She was glad for the effect it had, but wasn't interested in being credited for it. His joy or any emotion he took from such an act was gratitude enough.
Kory's eyes refocused as instead of answering he questioned. Did he not have any answer? Was he embarrassed? Thought there was something to benefit Kory wondered. As he seemed to want answers not really give them. If this was his way, then she was fine with this. Perhaps it was a matter of hours of showing trust. Although Kory wondered if such a thing would take hours? Days? Months? Years? Kory guessed it wouldn't take so long... He of cause was speaking not literally. For Kory did not see her legs wrapped around him. Nor his around hers. Kory wondered was there note to be taken as he mentioned, a man. Not men. Or had he meant general, just trying to code it so Kory was left to try and decode it. Kory was fine with his lack of answers as much as such a question. He just felt like asking such a thing.
"It isn't something I regularly do... Nor do I just offer. I like there to be something that I don't already have otherwise I can take care of such things myself..."
Kory wasn't interested answering this fake. It had halted her slightly as she had gathered her words or any such thing. Such acts weren't all just a game to her. Such things were just another extension of joy and Kory much liked the playfulness before. The teasing, so to speak. Her voice was subtle and she was light spoken. If he spun this however, she was fine. Perfectly fine. She breathed. What was wrong with flirting. Seeking what chemistry that was built in ones body. Kory smiled. She was sure he was just toying with the fact that she wasn't overly closed with her flirting and was trying to provoke more than there was. This she liked. Trying to place her in a awkward position and make her think. He played with the words Fool, but it seemed he was trying to dig out whether she had or could have a brain of sorts. Whether this was intentional or not, Kory liked this.
Perhaps the childlike thoughts that had not rubbed into his thoughts and parts of Kory was grateful he didn't read her mind. She wasn't sure she was content with his licking, not just yet anyways. She laughed again. More subtly. Her eyes rested upon him as he noted her two daggers one on each thigh. The girl was loaded and there had to be a hint of excitement she saw, but this man was all about composure it appeared. It impressed her. Why would she be displeased when he turned away from her thighs he turned to her face. Her eyes. This was maybe desirable in the wrong way. Her eyes let his play hers and shifted downwards slightly. She was very pleased how he teased and could admire his chuckle. It was not laughter, but it was a nice touch. Was this a soft moment? A soft sign? Maybe not quite, but it was close. There was no one else here. He needn't worry to much if he let go just a little bit if he was holding back. And showing such a thing wouldn't downplay who he was to her, then she figured it went down the road he didn't know her. She didn't know him. Kory couldn't expect again for him to just trust her. Not everyone would just become to love her, not like they had in Valaria and she had done to them. She returned his teasing to show she was amused by it. Not at all Threatened, not yet.
"I guess a little of both. Then does it matter? What's life without just a hint of danger?"
Her right hand that itched at the handle of her sword. The fingerprint ran along the metal. Then moved to her right thigh. The movement of quick, she hadn't as much planned it. She just knew she was going to do it. To what a effect Kory did not know. For before either may have known it her dagger slipped past his right eye. Maybe really bad aim or really perfect aim. As it landed in open area behind him just as soon as Kory had spoken danger. For it had been much of a target since he had been standing there and thus she took it. Taking that last escape of acid in the air. Her facial expression hadn't changed much as the motion was rather subtle. Not a lot of effort save a little aiming. Was this to impress him? Probably not. It wasn't her intention. It was very little of her skill and Kory hadn't planned anything in ways of impressing him, but she doubted it would really deal with her skill in battle. Although she was wishing to trade a sword. Feel one of his weapons in her hand and hers in his. How would they compare? Though she doubted it be of much interest to him, maybe when he trusted her more. Then her eyes traced him some more. Were there anything he was hiding? Other than his inners. Kory smiled. Kory played with maybe what she saw was him, but how could she tell.
He seemed to show signs at her reactions. It was something Kory was sort of seeking from him, reactions. Kory couldn't read overly in detail in his reactions, but there was something in how her laughter. Her alone thoughts seemed to stop his train of thought. There was maybe a hint he was wondering if he like it or didn't like it. Though it was a interesting thing that he noted even small things she did, that many may have not noticed or turn-off at. Whether it was strange he let her be her and didn't question. He was just silently noting, she believed.
Kory sat then quiet as he grew lesser to the whole running and chasing. He shook his head. Perhaps a little bit of her humour wasn't taken, although as she sat still she did want him to chase her. There was ways of stirring someone while they sat or stood where he did. His stares and smirks were quite moveable. Her eyes watched almost wash the mentioning a way. There was something in the way he said there was no need to run, that Kory did like. Maybe it was him that needed to run a little. Kory then smiled and her face brightened as he mentioned there be reason to scream. Was that a light joke? Kory wondered. Kory showed it on her expressions that that was what she had read from him and it had pleased her greatly.
Her body was now no longer sitting. Kory had pushed her self up. Her skirt back in place. Used her swords as an easier means to get up or just incase of an attack he may see. An impression, mostly unlikely. Kory twisted the swords in her palms before lifting them up. Showing maybe a small sign she would maybe use them, then slide them back in place upon her back. Looking at his Kory couldn't say which were the better made ones, but Kory figured they were most likely different. Her wound on her thigh now covered. A part from her slightly enlarged cat like scratch upon her stomach, Kory looked much intact. A little dirt here and there, but it wasn't the main focus she figured. She stood before him in her rather tall form and she now saw him on a more easier level. Kory smiled. This hadn't killed the stirring yet. He was still taller, but she liked this. Though it didn't make her feel short by any means. Her form wasn't slender and perfect without muscles and curves. Her form was filled a little more. There was more woman than girl and more woman than man. The red strand escaped to her face as a breeze caught it and she swept it away. The breeze took better direction so it blew kindly towards her so her hair played slightly behind and around her body. Her back and arms. It wasn't a total blaze today, Kory was pleased.
Kory motioned towards the mystery man. Whom hadn't a name yet. Yet she was fine until he offered it, if he ever chose too. There wasn't a lot of room as she got up so moving closer wasn't far. Whether he moved back she hoped he wouldn't. If he wasn't all too comfortable moving to her, she could move towards him. Her right hand moved to brush his right cheek. She wasn't expecting she would actually get the chance to touch him, but there was the desire to very much do it. The stirring in her was shifting. Kory still couldn't pin point whether this was a nervous thing or of excitement. Was there maybe a hint in her wishing to run away. Perhaps this was what was meant to happen and yet she didn't want to. She didn't wish to fear him. Maybe understand him or he understand her if not both. Her features remained soft. Her eyes full of all the embodiment of who she was never laid off of him save when his stares became a little heavy or she traced other features she hadn't noticed while she was sitting. Her mouth showed a little of her teeth as it was half smile and almost meant to be a laugh. Then it broke before anything came of it as her eyes refocused herself and the muscles around her eyes were tensing and softening.
"I think so. At least a little bit of screaming."
Her voice spoke as she hoped to be still standing close to him and hadn't shoed him off. Kory agreeing to what he had said before she stood. She used her fingers to express a little as she was hoping they were maybe enjoying a little bit of a joke, with maybe a hint of truth. Though she would like to see him try to make her scream, then she shook her head a little, why she had wished such a thing. Oh, well she can't help her emotions. Her hand tried to brush his cheek some more as her eyes traced his lips, his nose and his eyes again. Seeing what she could draw in. Kory wanted to grab him and light him a little. Feel a tad of her flames, but not just yet. Her touch ceased as he is questioning about how the illusion of how he cared. Kory thought he was a little smarter than this. He was the one to label her a fool. She smiled. She hadn't shifted to his words. Her features even more softer and seeking to touch him again, but now just by her words if she could.
"You cared enough to call me a fool. If you didn't care? Why would you bother with any names or labels? Why would you care to warn me? And why? Does saying such things offend you? "
Kory expressed how she saw that he cared. If he did not care what so ever, Kory figured he wouldn't care enough to call her such things or anything. Anything regarding her would be of no importances and yet he gave her something that yes, was not so much a compliment, but it was a thought. It meant something to him about her. Not that she was agreeing with his label. Although who hasn't at least had hints of a fool at times. Kory was sure even him had his moments. She wasn't about to drag them out of him. She had respect enough for that. So she questioned him, though half expecting he'd not answer again this time. Kory did question why saying something pleased her regarding him offended him. It was merely her thought and her compliment to give. She gave it whether he'd take the compliment or not, it was there. Was he thinking he wasn't deserving. Kory wasn't to sure. Her face shifted to the side slightly as he again called her foolish. He really liked calling her such a thing and thus far she was sure hadn't called him anything yet.
"I have been betrayed by those most closest to me and I forgave them. Why would the thought of a threat from a stranger worry me? I don't think it does well to be on edge all the time and just expecting the worst..."
Kory tried to point her thought across to him. Kory wasn't thinking of saying too much of the personal stuff unless he asked. There was no point of really weighing someone down when they hadn't been prepared for it. Kory had lived it, it was different. Kory accepted it all. Lived it and moved on. Instead of slowly killing her, she chose to live. There was probably something wrong that she desired to know him, but yet she wanted to. Maybe not the bigger details, but the smaller details. That are usually more important. She wanted to understand why he said anything he said. Her people were much like her their hearts were on their sleeves, but here everyone was more closed off. Kory could read emotions, but it was a little harder. Though this man was like that, the things he showed was something of a great puzzle. Whether there was something there, Kory imagined as if maybe some great emotion or maybe a subtle one, she had never discovered or maybe a different view on emotions all together.
As Kory stood before him she could feel the slightly unease he felt with her confidence and comfort feeling she had around him. Kory hadn't planned to change that. That be up to him not her and she hoped he'd keep her interested. He wouldn't just completely close off and brush her by. There was something here worth her time. Worth her eyes, stirring and most important her words and emotions. What worth this was, Kory did not know. Guess, why she was searching. It was more of a comfortable search of course. She stepped around him and moved towards where her dagger had landed. Kory crouched to her knees as she pull her dagger; popping out the eye of the beast. Had this man seen her shot target until now, Kory didn't know. Kory placed the eye in between her fingers. Studying it a little, it was like most lizard's eyes, but yet this creature was different. Overly large. Kory wondered if the man knew; what it was she had slain. There was a part of her that wished she hadn't. Every creature was beautiful and Kory could see a glimpse of that in it now. It just comes down to either kill or be killed. Kory wished it wasn't always the case.
The last words the man spoke shot dead into her heart. She knew such a thing more than he knew. Something Kory tried to think otherwise was something she didn't worry about, but it was something rather larger. Kory is one to maybe not admit such things. Even Jealousy, Kory on level knows if she's jealous, but she isn't one to admit it, then that can go hand in hand with anger and that is a harder emotion to control. It is best most times to let it go. It was what she was taught. It just can get a little jumbled at times. Kory's eyes shifted where he may have been standing behind her now, Kory wasn't sure.
"You have no idea..."
Kory almost whispered. It was for his ears, but the meaning was more her to understand. Kory questioned would he act on this. Part of her wished he would, but there was part thinking he wouldn't, but Kory didn't mind. Even in the 6 years surrounded by strangers and her sister. Kory did not feel like she was among friends. Or even the slight company this man was. Kory forgave and still loved her sister, but this man as far as she could tell was not Kalysta. Kory knew she was a live and Kory was glad of that. She had loved Kaly even if Kaly hated Kory to her core. Kory even now thinking of her sister missed her. Not her actions nor her words, but on a level missed her. They were on vast different paths, though Kory wouldn't be surprised if they crossed. As she finished her words, Kory dropped the eye out of her fingers and placed it by the beast, with care. Her eyes then ran over the beast again; as Kory slid the dagger back in place. Kory wasn't toying right now. She was Kory. The woman that bore inner strength. Even though she was crouched in a slight solitude, her fire was easily seen if not felt. Her expressions weren't overly sad, just in thought and caring of such emotions.
Kory hadn't blinded herself to the fact that her back was to the man that spoke of threats. She had offered her trust for him; to be next to her. Nose to nose with her. Now she showed her back. Foolish, yes. Was he smarter, maybe. Maybe he needed to have just a little faith in Kory. For she had faith in him. Whether it was something she chose or not. It was there and she did wish and want to give it. Even if Kory stood a step away, Kory was sure there was still plenty that separated the two. They were maybe worlds a part and Kory wished to orbit him just a little. If he'd allow.

So he wanted to be impressed? Kory watched him over as her words had sunk into him. Her head moved to the side, perhaps deeper than she had intended. Kory was soon realising there wasn't much of a light side to him. She gave a half escaped of air with just a hint if laughter. For she was doubting this was the case, that he was just all seriousness. It was maybe bad on her part to just assume he was showing any signs at present. Was toying not a light side? Maybe toying was all he was. Kory didn't wish to play on to much of who he was. For she did not know. It was only confusing her more. She smiled again. Someone that wasn't easy to pin. Someone that turned back on to her. Trying to stir and confuse her. This was on level a pleasing thing. As his words came though he was more assuming than anything. Kory hadn't implied she was sure that the next time he would be present. She squinted her eyes towards him. Did he wish he would be? So far from what she saw, she was happy for this arrangement. Kory wasn't one to really boast about herself, but one liked to have some impression on someone. Whether to learn it better, to improve or it was at its peak.
"I believe you just did... Though, Who's to say it is for you, next time?... So you desire to be impressed? Give me some moments of your time and we'll see if I can leave something that will last. Or are you summoned elsewhere? "
Kory spoke through a jested tone, for she truly thought from his words he had just answered that question. Her tone tuned down and her eyes from piercing played upon him ever so gently. For she truly meant her for him to remain in her presence just that bit longer. Although as her eyes tracked him again over his knightly appearance, she was worried he was supposed to be some where else. This disappointed her. Perhaps it be wise just to ask for the nearest water hole and let him pass her by. Her eyes then grazed the forest, she was sure she could find it. Then her eyes played at the roof. Perhaps it was best to find camp soon. Best elsewhere, soon she might find this tree as her next bed. If this man had no plans other than extend his puzzled words, Kory could be quite content where she was. Her eyes then played once again upon his dark face. She smiled softly and her eyes then lowered. He was very intimidating; to keep such a perfect face let alone eyes, but for some reason Kory just couldn't stop her eyes from looking again.
She so wished for him to want to know her. She so wanted to know him. Really she just wanted to continue the speaking. Whether it serious or just continuous of jests. This was such a pleasant thing after such a long time. Well, despite how this man was maybe taking it. Kory would maybe need to find keener ways of impressing, but impressing she just did naturally. Kory wasn't interested in being fake. Don't get her wrong on playing the game, of course. But there was a piece of Kory usually rather large behind everything she says or does. She was like the brightest star, it took something truly to take that out. Nothing in her 6 years underground did that happen and with this one looming man, it wasn't going to happen here. Her smile remained. Her eyes played upon his smirk. Not so pleasant, she could read now. Though this just wasn't turning her off. It just made the stirring in her belly more lively, Kory could have sworn this had moved up stream. This stirring feeling. She smiled again. For there was little light she could gather from the surface, but somehow her body read differently. Her heart and head were maybe downplaying this event.
Kory's eyes toyed upon him as he spoke of offering herself. Reading into her offer in the way she hadn't intended, but she was pleased he was amused. She was merely trying to rise something out of this cold man. People tend to reveal more of themselves through laughter and joy. They just never realised it, because they were lost in the moment. Kory just smiled at his words. She wouldn't take back that she was merely extended some beginning of a friendship, she knew for him she was probably going to have to prove it. Kory doubted he need to. But she did not know this man. He was hard to read, which made her want to read more. Lead him down her path and into her world. Well, not literal. Valaria was gone. She wondered how he would fair there. She could almost picture a different man had he had grown up there. Perhaps this was the gleam she saw. A dead hope, a dead something lost in the rubble. Her eye spot weakened. Dropped. Showing just a hint of weakness and for once she didn't wish to hide it. For all the stuff she had bared let a lone carried, there were bound to be moments just like this one. Where she couldn't pretend she was not human. For she was. Woman, man. In the end she was merely human. Her heart raced beneath her. Kory didn't care nor worry his eyes still lingered. If he was watching her slowly unfold, maybe he could be honoured to see just a glimpse of who she was. For as strong of a woman she played or was, Kory hardly knew herself. Knew who she was. Kory heaved and let out a deep breathe. For all the torment in her past, she was happy to have bared them. Kory was wiser and stronger for it. Though maybe the strength also laid in showing weakness. Kory half smiled as she tried to read into these emotions.
Her attention was broken as the man spoke of her being eaten. Kory hadn't much of words to respond. Kory just let out laughter. His words had amused her and Kory was grateful for it. Even though his words had implied she wouldn't be delicious, Kory wasn't overly taken back by that. What person in there right mind wanted to be eaten? She ran her tongue along her arm. Expressed it wasn't amazing and gave a soft laugh in his direction once again. Kory was getting the impression he was feeling led on. Did he truly think she had intended him to be between her legs? Kory was sure she had only wished him beside her. Sit before her. Kory didn't mind. Just come to her level. Then maybe he was the man that desired power to be on top. Now, Kory was neither a whore nor was she open. Kory was in zinc with her body. She liked to be pleased. Kory was open in ways not all women were, but the other needed to be worthy. Kory wasn't sure he was just there. There had to be something they would both gain out it and Kory wasn't speaking of love. Not in that sense. She knew love would come in some form. Just not in the kind that tied two together. It was best not play to much on this to him. Her ways were confusing to most.Or well Valaria's ways.
Maybe, she figured. This man would fair better if he stopped trying to place her anywhere. Was it not clear yet, she wasn't most women. Just as she could tell he was not most men. She cared not for labels. For titles that could bring down someone or take them so high they have forgotten their place in the world. Kory was who she was. Not some trash along for the ride. She had dignity, but who's to tell her she can't enjoy things along the way. Were men only allowed to?
"Offer myself? Why are you interested?"
Kory toyed with the man. Her first question was merely asking where had she had said such a thing. Then as she asked him his feelings. She pushed upon her skirt a little. Revealing the dagger either side strapped to her thighs. They had been well hid until now. Kory thought this may change his mind just a little of what she had intended to mean. Not to mention the two swords that laid just by her sides. Maybe he was the fool to think she couldn't use them, but Kory wasn't wishing to. Not on his pretty face. Just revealing she wasn't that easy. Kory was open to the beautiful woman she was, but she was just not that easy. Kory made no intention to cover her daggers again. The wound on her thigh was more clear now. It now only drizzled red and it stung nicely. Kory now had a rather odd thought of him licking it and it just made her laugh. Oh, this man was fun. If he played his cards right, he wouldn't have to worry about any of her weapons. For she didn't wish him harm. She smiled.
"Oh I didn't wish to kill your mood. Give me a sec. I can start running soon. I could add some screams, but I doubt it be as effective if they aren't real"
Kory jested to him as his words had amused her. Wanted? Where in the way did he come up with that. Kory wanted him to want something from her and yes, on some level she wanted him to chase her. She loved the thrill maybe more than he did. Kory could admire a man taking charge, trying to make her feeling something. Any and every emotion he wished. There just wasn't anything strange about acting on ones emotions and desirers. If Kory wanted something, she was sure she would just take it. Kory then smirked herself. She doubted he was a man so easily taken advantage of. Not that was what she had in mind. Kory wasn't so in her own world of a women are strong world. Kory liked to see a man deserving of such things. Not all men were boys pretending to be men. Not all were heartless and crude. Some men Kory would happily enjoy their company. Although this man took her way of company to a level not quite in sight for her as of yet. Every man and every person deserved respect and a chance to prove themselves. There was worth in everyone, it was just a matter of showing it.
Kory was rather a taken back at his words. She felt like a little child being punished. Was he well aware that fool was maybe just a little foolish. Why would he just say such things? Were there truth to it? Kory didn't wish for him to harm her unless she wished it. There was different meanings to the word harm. Kory smiled he noted she was young, but maybe doubting she wasn't overly wise. She was someone he just didn't know. Kory shook her head slightly. Kory was sure if he had wished to hurt her he probably would have done it already or find the perfect time then he could enjoy it. She had merely expressed the seat as trust and a means to be on level. He was silly if he was going through this world on edge his whole life. Kory just wasn't that kind of person. Everyone deserved a chance and not everyone starts out wishing to be the villain.
"This maybe true, but you do not know me. I wouldn't be so quick to think me unwise, though I am pleased you care... I was merely offering a gesture. Sit where you stand if you must. I just wish for your company, is that so foolish? Then call me a fool... Thirsty for blood, you say?"
Kory's eyes gathered into truth as she spoke, but her tone remained gentle. His words hadn't unsettled her greatly. This was true, she didn't know him, but seemed disrespectful to just assume how some one was. This was seemed he was doing to her. Just assuming who she was. Now, Kory isn't the brightest. She dare say there is anyone with all the knowledge. The universe is vast. Though to think her just a fool, that she wasn't. At least she thought she wasn't. Though she had to thank him for bringing such things to her attention as if she hadn't seen danger in his eyes. Kory just wished for more of this man's company. Her heart fluttered and her belly stirred uneasily at the thought of him just passing her by. If this was foolish to ask, then he could call her that. Kory didn't play low with her trust. Her respect. Maybe he could sit where he stood now. Kory had merely thought it more comfortable, at least for her neck, but she had mainly seen it for his benefit not her own. Stand if he must. Her eyes moved down. Was there nothing here that excited him? That he may like some more word challenges. Her eyes followed back to his eyes. as spoke of his thirst. It was just a joke. As she drawn the attention to the blood on her thigh and stomach. Kory then let out a laugh. Did this man not know anything about the lighter side of things? Her laughter stopped. Her mouth smiled and her eyes remained inviting. Oh, she had barely met him and he was quite chilling. So far she liked this.

The forest crawled of the dark kind. The shadows were beginning to play tricks in all different corners. Yet, her mind was most focused upon this man. Who was much a stranger. There was a gleam in his eyes. Once she couldn't pin down whether it was out of delight or he had other things in mind. As long as that gleam was for her. It was enough no matter the reason. He had shown her no threat. He had approached her when he didn't have to. He had to have seen something to his liking despite his words. It was foolish to seek danger where there wasn't any, not yet. Besides he seemed the kind that liked the chase. Although she doubted he maybe one to run or more just cheat. Kory was a little taken back at his words. For his words prior expressed a compliment. Yet, what he spoke now was truth. She smiled softly. At least he was honest. He was trying to show he was open to who he was, but Kory doubted that was truly the case. Most of his emotions were shut, this meant he was hiding. Maybe to himself and he just didn't see it.
"I shall try harder next time."
She jested towards him. Though in truth he had only seen a partial of her skills. She was trained since birth. Although she was feeling the need for training. She eyes him out. Her green eyes ran along him and she laughed softly. She wasn't sure this was the time. Besides she had only met him, but she was interested in what skills he processed. Save Kory was more interested in the talking. The getting to knowing conversation. There was no one she knew. Her Family and people gone. For all she knew Kory was the last symbol of her kind. Just before her eyes was laid out a puzzle. A very intriguing maze. Even the slightest opening and Kory would take it. Suddenly the teen laughter gathered in her head. This should have been so many years ago, but instead of laughter they were screams back then.
She caught the lump in her throat as this man spoke again. It was probably meant to stir her the wrong way, she just didn't have the this is dangerous voice in her head. If it was it quite clouded. Was there more to it. To his words. As he said yes, without even the slightest hesitation. Was there really more to it than just a yes? Kory's mind fled to this gap that she thought she could see. Seeing this man commonly in all darkness. Her head turned. Was this all his life? Was it really by choice? That Kory wasn't able to really take hold. It appeared this was all his doing, but Kory was wondering if this was just one of those things hidden to him now days. She could feel his every gaze upon her flesh. He seemed to be doing much the same as she was just trying to do. Maybe they were the either side of the coin so to speak. There was a wisdom there. A hint he was trying to find her buttons. How to stir her even more.
Her lips smiled as he spoke of her appearance. So she had some attraction for him. Whether it was strange part or the beautiful part, Kory didn't mind. He was fascinated and Kory liked that. She was just the same with him. She was all that was bright with the world. Even something more so seen in these parts. He was all that was every dark, just that slight light in his eyes. Other than that he was steel black. Yet she was being drawn in. Kory was maybe not in the right control to stop. She wasn't sure there was reason not to. He seemed rather coy so far. He hadn't giving her reason not to trust him.
Kory remained speechless for the time being. She was rather enjoying his long gaze and the movement his words created. That stirring was moving more and more. Soon his gaze became even heavier upon her. Kory almost could have sworn he stepped closer, even if there wasn't much further for him. His shadow took her then. Her light beaming with what little power it had. Her eyes remained the brightest. The light in the dark. Kory wondered if there was more to these words as he spoke, but Kory was left a little unwise. She took it he was just trying to toy with her. It was the matter of whether she wished for him to hunt her? As long as he desired it, she was sure she was fine with this arrangement. As she played upon the thoughts. Kory remained more or less comfortable. She could feel her body heat up. Her cheeks blushed a little to show it on the surface. Again Kory smiled. As her breathe seemed to be getting caught. She just put it down this was a good thing.
"Not in the slightest... I dare say I am all that appetising, but I cannot speak for your taste-buds "
She turned his words around on him. She smiled softly. She would let him rest on those for a few short moments. Her body responded in a way that this was a harmless game. A challenge. Kory so wished to play.
"Should I be running? I do not mind being chased, but I'm not really in the mood, maybe catch me now, if you can."
She questioned kindly and with a slight humour in her voice. Kory lived for the thrill of the chase, but she had already ran miles. She could find the stamina again, but there was no real need, right? This was just a game. Cat and Mouse. Though she was more like the snake. She smiled as her words ended and patted the seating beside her. Offering her trust. She would hope he would take it. She didn't wish to come across rude or unkind. Though she wasn't about to change who she was for just one man. If there was something here he liked. Maybe desired. He had to find a loophole and accept who she was. Just as she needed to do the same.

The morning was early and fresh. The dew hadn't quite disappeared from the leaves. There was a fine mist that gathered in and around the trees. As the sun began to get a little brighter the mist faded some more. Kory walked the faint path she could see. Checking where she had planted the seeds. It hadn't been touched. There wasn't any signs of life just yet, but given time. It would be soon blooming of sparkles maybe a little unknown to this area. It was a rather sturdy plant. Kory was sure this environment would suit it well. The forest of Camelot was such an amazing place. From what she had seen of it so far. Day by day, Kory was learning. She was beginning to feel knowledge between the locals. The whispers of her presence had started. Though the full knowledge of who she was, had barely hit anyones lips save some lucky few.
There hadn't been much change to her outfit. Still of dark leather. Some faint design in a purple thread. The skirt wrapped around with a cord. The boots. Her mid cut of top. The look unlike of most women even people in general. The stares and words had not shook her. Her skin was tough as ever. She wasn't about to change all her ways, for it would mean a part of herself could get lost. Upon her shoulder she carried a net. She had come across a mother with 8 children to feed. The father had passed away in battle some month prior and had little feed. Kory had spent some of her own coin gave them some bread, but it wasn't enough. She purchased a net from an elderly man. Kory figured it be more handy this way and she could re use the net again and again.
What exactly she was trying to catch? Kory wasn't overly sure about. Deer? Rabbit? Kory hadn't much idea of what else. She highly doubted something like the beast she had recently slain would be something wished for. Maybe something a little smaller or at least little easier to catch. That was a kind of beast that would be able to break through the net, If Kory wasn't quick on her toes. Kory had hunted in the past. Knew how to track, but tracking took a lot of time. A net was a little easier and this forest was large, full of creatures that were more harmful. Best let nature come to her, she figured.
Kory made her way a little off the natural path, maybe just a couple of feet so not to accidentally catch a person. Kory set up the net upon a little bare ground. Placed some bits of food in the middle and covered the net it leaves and bits of bark. Though not over the top so it wasn't too clear and the net was a dusty brown so it was blending in well. Kory then hooked the legs in place and would take to the sky from any subtle movement. It was a rather large net. Kory hadn't really asked what the man had planned for it, but she figured it was best unanswered. As she did the last knot and the last flick of leaves. Kory melted in a shrub and bushes. Making note her hair and features were hopefully not detected. The shrub area was by a tree so she could dart up it if needed or hide behind. Use it how ever she needed to use it.
Kory could hear the chirps of birds. The sounds of frogs and even some crickets. A shuffle of a rabbit, but it darted the wrong direction. She swore she saw a deer, but it was just a shadow of a branch. There she waited. How long Kory would have to wait, she couldn't know. Kory would wait it out. She had promised food and she would bring it one way of the other. Kory wasn't about to see the family starve not while she could do something about it. She was maybe not princess nor heir in the lands of the pendragons, but she still had a right to help. To aid. To protect. To serve such people.

The forest was growing dim. The beast still stone as ice. Kory could hear a faint raw as if it was passing. Yet it was still loud enough to be heard. She sat still against the tree. Kory had forgotten whether it had been in used in the match, but she had put most of the event behind her. Clearing her head. Resting her wounds. Feeling relaxed once again. When the footsteps began. There had been no sign of anyone prior. Kory was a bit surprised she had been rather surprised. Even the slightest movement and Kory would easily pick them up. Yet, here she laid with a man in black meeting her. Her eyes ran over the man. He bore nothing she had once seen. Yet, the darkness of his armour reminded her of her sister. They were not of the same design, so Kory was sure who ever he was, was in no relation to Kalysta.
Who was Kory to just assume anything. There was mystery, but there was something this man that drew her in. He had a presence worth noting. Kory hadn't the instinct to jump to her stance and defend. For his movements were calm and almost gentle. He made no means to stop. He was being careful. Kory respected this about him. He was smart. Didn't just note a woman. He had seen the battle, how much Kory didn't know, but enough that he was cautious. Soon, he stopped. His form above her own. A tall dark man. Rather appealing, in some way. He was trying to figure her out. Would it pay him with bad service to know she wasn't overly easy to pin down. Though she sensed it was similar for him. There was a uniqueness about him Kory was drawn to. He had a past that had led him straight here, much like hers had. She couldn't tell whether he had a destiny as such. Maybe living in the present more. She tried to feed off his emotions. Feel his drive. Yet he appeared a little shut off. Like a locked door. There was a couple of cracks, but it seemed he was quite well sealed.
She admired his bravery. Taking his stance as he did before her. Was she as unique to him as he was her, She could only guess. He seemed to match to this new world in a way she defiantly did not. She smiled at his words. There was a sharp distinct tone in his voice. It was rather beautiful and yet dangerous. She gathered he saw most of the battle, then. Kory wasn't displeased he had not aided her. This had not been his fight and she wasn't weak. She managed it on her own. There was no shame in that. She liked his closeness. He had a chilling presence.
"Did it impress you?"
Kory's voice travelled to the man's ears. Her voice kind and gentle. At ease with her response. For it seemed by his words it was as much of a compliment and Kory took it. If it had not amused him he would have turned away, she figured. She hadn't much an idea of his skills and she was sure he had some dressed up like the dark knight. Had she impressed him? Did he just see another woman trying to act like she knew what she was doing? Did this even matter? Her hand were still grasping her swords, but she soon relaxed them out of her hands. She could feel his eyes lurking over her. Trying to peel the skin right off of her. She wasn't sure he was trying to make her uncomfortable. She much rather liked it. It gave her goosebumps and tingles up and down her skin. The hairs again stood up upon her neck. There was a stir in her belly. He seemed to be able to bring nerves to her and she very much liked this. He was at least making her feel something. She wasn't overly impressed by the dull kind. She could almost feel her skin burn. She smiled slightly as her eyes pierced his. Who would crack first? She lowered her head. He could take this one. Kory was sure there be more.
"Do you generally lurk in the shadows? Tell me is this how you catch your prey?"
Kory hadn't planned her words and it probably showed. She was seeking something out of him, but he was much a stranger she had ever met so far. So far her skills hadn't scared him off. Did he think it diminished her worth as a woman? Made her stronger? More appealing? It wouldn't sway her own judgement. Kory knew pretty well who she was. There was always room to be shown differently. Maybe he would take suit and join her by her seating. She was much in the mood to be amused. To be challenged. If this embarrass him or be below him. She would not whisper it out loud. For it appeared they were one on one. Save the beast dead some feet away. And the faint call of its mate.

There was just a few more hours before the sun would be fading. So the forest of Balor was still quite lit. Kory had taken a little ways from the path. She knew where it was so she wouldn't be getting lost anytime soon. The place was still rather unknown to Kory, but she was familiar how forest usually are and how to work through them. Her form bore her usual outfit. All leather. Handmade from her own kingdom. A skirt that wrapped around her thighs and tied up with a cord, it met above her knees. Her feet bore short calve length boots. Her top half was covered in the right places. Her outfit was far from the usual of women in these areas, but it was quite clear she was all woman. No man had her curves, maybe even some women. Though it was quite difficult to tell, so she couldn't be sure.
Kory's hair was on the more tame side of things for the low wind tide was almost non-existant. It ran down her back in red flames and simmered in the last of the sunlight, that sparkled down through the trees. The light also seemed to catch the gleam of her swords. Shining through the cracks in the forest and maybe attracting some attention. Although it was a very fine shine. Kory's footsteps had mostly been quiet. Just a slight crunch here and a slight crunch there. Kory hadn't foreseen the more larger crunch. Making, Kory freeze where she stood. As she could feel movements beneath her feet and hear rustling beside her behind some shrubs. Kory could just make out a shadow. A black figure of some kind. She was sure it was not human. It couldn't be a rabbit of a deer, something bigger.
It merged from where it was well hid. The light played upon the reptile scales and a sharp spark in its eyes. It was not overly pleased. Kory could tell. It's mouth bellowed out a massive raw and it seemed to shake the ground below, even her feet felt it. The hairs at the back of her neck stood up. Her hands had already in instinct pulled out her swords. It had been a rather slow movement. The creature creaked a little at the movements. The nose of the beast played mostly upon the ground and then lifted in the air between. Smelling the scent. This was not a beast Kory had seen before, though it was large. It was far from the largest she's seen before. Though it was best maybe to see if it would just pass. Kory wasn't much for just attacking even such a creature as this.
The motionless stance between the two, seemed to last roughly about 10 minutes. The creature soon grew bored and started to retreat through the shrubs. Kory mistakenly moved her foot. Causing a little more crunch and a swing of her right sword. The beast had already turned back. Its eyes blood shot with anger. The nostrils steaming and a massive raw came swiftly to Kory's ears. Kory knew there wasn't going to be much time to think. It was either try and take the fight here. Although Kory was sure this was going to be mostly a chase. In the short seconds she was given. Her eyes darted. She could make use of her surroundings, that she was sure.
Her head turned back just as the creature poured at the ground and began the chase. It bolted towards Kory. Kory was quick enough to dart across. Making out every move and tactic this creature may have. It was fast. As soon as Kory had darted, she was already met with the creature. Kory's stomach just missing the bite of it's teeth. She could even feel the breath upon her bare skin. Smell the strange scent from the beast. Kory moved back and used a tree to dart around and came behind the creature. She swung her sword. She was quickly met with its eyes and then it swung to aim Kory with it's tail. It missed just half second as Kory jumped. As the beast's head came back around. Kory took strike hoping to catch it off guard. She managed to stake the beast in the arm. It's skin was rather tough to get it back out, but as the creature raw again with even more reason to be angry, it didn't take much more strength to get the sword back out. The beast's mouth came to meet her and Kory swung her swords one after the other. It made the beast retreat it's mouth short, but it soon came back. Taking another stride towards Kory. Kory backed up. Being met with the beast before her eyes. As Kory stepped more. The beasts movements began to take more speed.
Little by little. Soon its was in running motion. Kory had at some point turned so she was no longer running backwards. Her sight was taken away from the beast, but she knew full well where it was. Just at the heel of Kory. The flashes of red and black darted through the forest. The beast calling out in anger filled the surrounding area of the forest. Though to be honest anything else was a bit far from Kory's mind. Although she had wondered if this was the only creature, but she wasn't about to go back a check the shrubs. Just then the beast got a little close, its mouth snipped at Kory's left boot. Kory darted around a tree, changing the path regularly. After a bit of darting and the bite just before her heels. The chase had soon fell upon a rough out path. A some 10 feet a head it ended and it was a bit of an open area. There was means of getting around trees, but Kory knew she couldn't run forever and the fight needed to be ended here.
Kory led the beast in to the area and as Kory got to the edge. She used one of the trees. Her right foot first then joined with her left and flipped over the beast and landed on its shoulders. The beast shook underneath her. In between the beast shaking Kory soon was able to pierce the sword through its neck. It slipped it easily, but it wasn't fatal. It had wounded the beast, but it made it even more angry. With its rougher movements and more aggressive, Kory was flung off. Her back hit the ground hard. As her eyes opened the beast was looming above her. Its foot came down to crush her. Kory stopped it with her swords that she managed to be still grasping. The beast withdrew its claws and brought down it's mouth. Kory quickly rolled to the side. In one quick motion, Kory was now standing.
The beast turned weakened to face her. Kory's eyes ran over the beast. Eyeing it out. As her breathe had now became a little heavier. The beast moved the two deeper in the middle of the opening. Blood was trailing behind it's every step. It wasn't in the strength to run anymore, but it's strike was still with quite decent strength. Kory either darting in time or meeting the beast with her sword. Moving to the edge, Kory used another tree as a means to twist her in the air. Her foot in the air meeting its face and then with her sword. A large gash was now upon it's cheek.
As she landed the beast knocked over and ran its claws in her direction. Catching her stomach and her thigh. They weren't overly deep, but enough they bled. Kory had knocked the beast as its claws just met her skin. So not every line was bleeding and they wouldn't scar. Although the one of her thigh one of lines was bleeding more than the others. Kory rolled on to her knee and one foot planted. HEr face hidden a little from the beast. She cringed slightly at the burning from her thigh and stomach, but it seemed to more urge her than give her too great of a pain. Kory eyed the timing and movements as the beast drove closer. This battle was now coming to an end. Kory knew it. Felt it in every inch of her muscles. Her swords were still. At bay. They faintly gleamed from the light peaking through. They were humming nicely to their master. As much as she had planned not to take the beasts life. Wished to have left it a lone back behind the shrubs. There was really little choice now. It was clear it was either kill or be killed. Kory wasn't planning to fall now. Not when she had barely lived. Barely made her mark.
Soon her right sword was bedded into its chest and into the beast's heart. It's mouth hung open above Kory's head. She could smell and feel the life slowly fade. She was a tad sad. For she really hadn't planned this, but she was left with little choice. It was meant to be done, it a peered. The beast soon faded and its weight began to lean a little to much on Kory. Moving to the side. Kory took back her sword and the beast fell beside where Kory stood. She was going to need to learn just what this was. Surely someone knew. They were not common of Valaria, but she guessed they were here.
Her eyes ran over the body then to where she stood. She had little idea where this was. It was a sort of meadow path thing in the forest. She was sure the path laid east from where she stood. With all honesty between running and trying to take perfect aim, Kory hadn't taken much noticed where she had ended up until now. She did know it was a long chase up until now. A warm faint liquid ran down her thigh. Her stomach had dripped, just her thigh. It gleamed a deep red, deeper than her hair. Her green eyes caught the blood train. Kory's finger catching it. It smeared a little at her skin. The cut didn't hurt much, She could bare it. Kory took a seat by on the trees on the west side of the area, the beast on the east where it laid dead.
Kory's body sank to her seat. Her muscles now unwinding and relaxing. Maybe look for a water hole of some kind, she toyed at the idea. As her hand wiped at the blood train some more and around the small wound. It did sting then, but again she could cope with it. It was a far cry from anything she had been through. Her hand then wiped at her skirt, clearing her hand. She hadn't much to be able to stop the blood flow, but she was sure the cut would be closing soon as it was rather shallow. Her hand then traced her stomach area. It stung at the touch and the blood had only slightly dripped. Kory was glad, for it could have been much worse. Her eyes ran over the beast again. Though it had been unwanted and a tad sad. It seemed to pump her up. Got her to use her mind somewhat. Any and all was always a lesson to be learnt and there was plenty here to learn. She had been merely a teen when taken and had a lot of her years taken. Now was not the time to ponder what she could have done in those times. For she could only rely on the, now.
She was wondering if she could just hear the faint sound of water. Was it her imagining, hoping it was or was it real. An echo of a stream. It wasn't clear of the direction, but Kory was sure just a couple more moments to gather herself, she would find her place and her way. Kory had just let out a breathe and muscles beginning to relax. That she was sure she had just heard an echo through the forest, of another raw much like the one that had chased her. It was not what laid before her some yards away. It's skin was pale and stone cold. It's eyes shut to the world. Kory couldn't tell the distance, enough she figured. Then it could of been her imagination or just miles away. If it wasn't and it was just around the corner. Kory knew she could face it. If only speaking wasn't such a problem. She could just ask them nicely to stop, that of course if they would listen even if they understood english.

The day was fair and light. The sun was a much appreciated sight and it peeked quite heavenly through the branches above. The wind was subtle as it blew the leaves, just enough and no leaves were falling on this day. Nor was there any moisture felt in the air. It was a fair day. The days had only began to go slowly by. The events that took place in Valaria was not quite a distant memory. Not that it ever was truly going to be forgotten. Kory would always remember it. As her hand played upon the soft ground at her feet. As she began to lift the ground up so that a small hole was made. Deep enough that the seed could not be taken and shallow enough that the seed may grow. Her hand then made for some seeds deep in her pocket. Letting them fall quietly from her palm and into the cave of its new home. Pushing the dirt over the seed, Kory patted the ground down. Hopefully no one would notice the unevenness about this spot. Soon a piece of Valaria would be seen. She was sure known would fall to their knees at its sight, but it was just a nice touch of home. Which now seemed all but gone, to Kory.
It was her world. Her home. Her family and her security. It was all gone. She was all that was strong of a warrior, but she could still feel some part of her was not the same. Maybe it was there beneath the rubble along with her parents and her people. Oh and her land. Where was X'Hal. She so wanted to believe that X'Hal was alive somewhere. For how could it bring down the goddess, Kory was sure she was still feeling the guidance of her goddess. A tear ran down Kory's cheek and fell upon the spot she had just laid the life of her beloved Valaria. Soon, moisture would fall in some days and the life will grow. Kory stood to her feet. The piercing sounds of screams and shouts of some kind came bolting to her ears.
Her attention had now been taken. It was probably ironic at the moment she had planted her past, her future came calling. She shimmied her way through the trees. Seeking where the sounds had come from. Someone or maybe more was in need. She leaped over fallen branches and tried to keep as quiet of steps as she could. So not to attract her attention just as she was arriving. A more subtle approach would be better. For everyone. Although her body was nearly bare. Her lower was covered by a leather skirt, that met just above her knees and abled her swift movements along the forest floor. Her feet bore calve length boots, that matched. Her bust was covered again by leather. Cut above her stomach area and sleeveless. Hugged her body in the way it was intended to show. Her arms bore leather straps either side along with fingerless leather gloves. Her hair was left out and moved like fire with her every step. Cascading down her back and shoulders like a much beautiful blaze of flames. Her eyes fall of green lasers looked for the target. She could make out some figures as she appeared around the tree as if it was a shield. Her hands quietly reached behind her and held her swords in her grasp. They held in her hands quite nicely. Well, balanced and well made. As she peered closer she could make out a group of men at attack. Maybe trying to rob or kill their victims. Kory couldn't be entirely sure, what she did know. Was they were of the worse kind and they needed to be stopped. For as long as this was deep in the forest, she doubted any sort of knight or guards were likely to enter. Not that she needed aid or wished another to do her work.
Her chest heaved of air. Feeling her muscles flex in preparation and her emotions help building the strength. The courage. She was trying to feel out her timing. When the right time was to strike. She was brave enough to just jump straight into it, but her brain said to be smart about this. There were possible 8 or more men. It did not matter the amount. They were all able to fall by her hand. These were just by looking at them, were lesser men. Barely warriors. Easily crushed. Bandits. So they had strength enough to have a naming. Not that it was much of a name as she heard the name shouted out. One of the so called bandits, had pushed a man in her direction towards the tree. As the bandit aimed to bring his weapon down upon the man. Kory found her moment. Her opening.
There was little time to think let alone question it. Her body was now between the two. From the look upon the bandit's face, he had not expected her. Her two swords held the bandits own weapon in its place just at her face. Her face did not read the more friendliest of her emotions. Her strength pushed with ease against the bandits weapon with her swords. She managed to push him back a couple of steps. As he came back at her in foolishness. Her right sword ran through his stomach and the blood ran down the handle upon Kory's hand. It was not a pleasant smell, but Kory hadn't expected any different. They were nothing but scum at the lower end. Taking what was never meant to be theirs. Her sword was kept dug into the bandit for some good seconds and then it slipped out. Her left hand helped his body to fall away from her as his body sank to the ground. Dead.
Her attention glazed over the other few bandits, but she turned to the man that was probably still behind her. Kory had to confess she hadn't taken much heed to the man until now.
"Are you alright? Seems, I came just in time."
She spoke as she made to glance at him. Kory was unable to take too much of him in as about 5 bandits made their way around her. This did not fear her, more drove her. Her lips made into a smirk and ran her blooded hand across her mouth, leaving a soft trail. Kory ran over certain details seeking a weakness, a starting point and ending point. There was no need of much planning. She wasn't much of a planner she just does it. The two swords twisted in her hands, playing on only a small portion of her skill. The swords were like an instrument to their champion, they sang to her muscles and played upon every step and action she made.
"You will rule the day that you ever stepped foot in Camelot. Well, come on then."
Her voice was deep and strong. Stretched out to the bandits that marched to her calling. They had halted and Kory only Begged they'd continue. They were really seeking a fight. Then so be it. It must have ran through their mind that she was just woman, but then as she had so easily cleaned her sword with one of their men, they were a little cautious now. Kory smiled. Perhaps, they were already beginning to feel their mistake. They barely budged at her words. So she approached them. Her movements building more big strong strides. To match her bravery. It was possible she could march to a sea of 1000 men and her core wouldn't shake. She took a strike at the first in her path. Her moves reacted to the approach of a bandit behind, her swords moved in zinc. Where one bandit would come from beside her sword would be met and thus as the bandits came one after another. So did her swords. Sounds of metal scrapping and bodies clashing, the sounds of a battle . Her swords twisted in her hands and ran into the guts of a bandit behind. Kory didn't need to look, for she heard the sound of his fall. Her blood soaked swords then continued the flow. Cutting here and there. She had barely been marked yet, but she wasn't sure she would be getting out of this completely unmarked. For hardly any protection, she had only her swords to defend herself. Her hair played around her like a trail of fire. Where ever her next strike was. Her strength and skill was behind every motion.

There was a vast difference. A very vast difference to his grasp than to those of her past. The emotions and the feelings she got from the people in the past moments. Were not even in any of these actions, Lancelot made. There was that sense he was maybe questioning his moves thinking it may up set her. She admired that. She much liked a aggressive actioned man with care. It was a nice combination. Parts of her hormones begged he'd hold tighter, but she was not sure he would be able to handle that. Not just now. He seemed the somewhat courtly type. Kory called it Chasing. Although Kory saw vast differences to how she liked one to court her. So far he had courted her right. Somehow, she wasn't sure he would be ready for past kissing stage. She was quite thrilling to take on, in many situations and he was not prepared. That she was sure of.
In reality, it had been only 24 hours since she was freed. Now she was never one to complain about her stamina. She was always one to keep on going, but she knew her body was seeking. It wasn't up to speed as it once was. Or really her emotions. She had done the weeping she had felt she needed to take of her chest. Gone past the anger stage, the revenge thoughts and placed them behind her. Yet, she was still left with the after damage of such emotions. If Lancelot had ever felt such emotions, he was probably not prepared to take on how many Kory took on daily. For her it was normal. Not always were her emotions happy. Although most of the time they were. She felt everything along the way.
She could feel Lancelot holding back. Maybe questioning not only her background, but his morals. Until he was secure within himself, it was wise just to keep with the more friendly of touchings. Although, she so wanted to just slap across his face and realise the moment was what mattered. Who was there to say this wasn't morally, right? Something had led him to this very moment, his emotions and Kory knew well these emotions were never wrong. He shouldn't feel ashamed for these emotions. It was much like questioning you inner voice, we all have one. Yet, the morals which were trying to stop him were also emotions. Until he could put his emotions in check as well as his morals. It needed to be cooled.
From the moment of Kory's escape. She had barely nothing in her mind save not letting such sort of things happen again. There was just that feeling was she ever going to find a place anywhere. Find a place for her heart. She hadn't expected to be shown a choice so early. It pleased her mind, that there was a chance there could be a peace in this new world, where her heart could truly be. She had expected Loneliness was going to be her sacrifice, but maybe there was hope it wouldn't. She was denied such things for 6 years and she expected it might just stay the same. Instead of being trapped in someone else's hold, she may just end up trapped in her own world, alone. This was defiantly shining a light that there maybe more need of her in this new world. If this was only to lead to a friendship, she could die happy to know someone knew her and remembered her fondly.
Her mouth then played upon his again and again. Every time was like she was meeting him for the first time again. If there was any thought he maybe questioning his worth. He needed to stop it. For he was all that screamed special and importance to Kory. She knew she could and she was sure she already had. Opened her heart and promised to care for him greatly. She took such ties to friends to a very high place. He was her family now. She might even trust her life in his hands and even her heart, so easily crushable. Her hands that played upon his face, brought down to his chest. Her finger circling where his heart was. If thee be truly for another. She would not stand in his chances of happiness. If he needed to talk about such a thing and share his doubts. Kory was his ears. He needn't worry to crush Kory's emotions, she was stronger in many ways. When Kory saw her hints of her soul mate in him, she meant it. Not all soul mates come with being lovers and marriage. They are surrounded with being great friends. She was probably not the one he was in love with or will be later on. Though his heart could express the love of a friend as she was feeling for him.
Yet, she did wish for moments like this one, but one was enough. She could remember it like every thought, emotion and memory she had, remember them forever. She almost felt her body naturally object to her head and heart. Trying to hold to him that little bit tighter. Weeping to the fact that this soon could be their last chance. Although the moment seemed rather short, it had taken some time upon the ground. If Kory had a little more strength, she would have turned the tables so to speak. Maybe, weakening his escape. Seeking just a few more memories she could think of fondly. Yet, she could feel there were many more memories for them in the future. Where ever it may lead. In the next life, maybe things will be more simple and straight forward. At least for Lancelot. Her tight grasp loosened as he tickled her. Her body loosened. Her tears bubbled out and ran down her cheeks. As laughter covered her lips and muffled by his. Her hand played in his hair, maybe trying to pull him off, but with little effort as she really didn't want him too stop. She was just not going to shake off this feeling of safety with him. Not safety so much as the literal sense, but more safety of being her self. She felt so secure of any doubts she had and she barely wished to move on just yet. She could happily remain where they were until the world crumbled. She wouldn't feel fear because he would go with her. Where ever it was. These were selfish and he did have people that were possibly missing him. Needed him more than she did. She just wished this wouldn't end with her never seeing him again. If he needed her ears in any situation she wanted to offer them. Her shoulder perhaps. A warrior needs some guidances sometimes. Reminding and so did she.
"Never happened? I did not mean it in that sense. For this will forever be imbedded in me. Don't confuse, you are all what is rightly put together. You are only guessing you know me, I must prove that you can trust me, as I am already trusting you. I have barely escaped with my life and I dare say I am not fit for anything if I am not fully charged. As it were... We'll see then if I change your mind about me... I think I best put the choice in your hands, Lancelot. You know these places better than I do. I am fit for wild deer around a camp fire. Or some well built inn. Although something that comes with being low key would be, wise. I'd like to be remembered fondly."
As she had spoken her desire for food. The mood seemed to slowly die until it just seemed to just being a shadow of what it once was. He seemed gutted and confused. Maybe confusing his emotions would lead to him figuring them out, but she didn't wish to see him sad. Nor wish to be silent to it. Her eyes watched as he got up, as the moments of his lips were still fresh on her mind. She took on his words, it appeared he was trying to bypass emotions that were clear upon his face and bypassing what had happened. Her eyes played upon him, trying to read what he was trying not to say and her eyes fell upon the ground. Her heart had been lit by the moment that had barely past and now with the sudden distance. Was there a way to say her earlier thoughts, that coming with her was his choice. For she didn't want him to leave her. Was he thinking, she was truly that cold? That she was brushing him off for something of lesser worth. She was little a hurt she wasn't going to deny that. She was even hurt that he had turned her simple kind jest and stabbed her with it. She knew he meant his last words out of kindness, but still. Now, she wasn't about to let herself throw it back at him, but she would a little bit.
As his hand led her back to her feet. Her eyes regained more focus upon him. Feeling a little more like a shell, but she soon felt her fire return. Her hand lightly played under his chin as she began her words. Making sure his eyes and focus were upon them, upon her. She was gentle and she was kind. No jest so much now. For her heart wished to speak for the truth just at this time. In the midst of her words, her hand then moved to his cheek and she smiled. Then she returned her hand to her side as she spoke of the choice of the destination was his. Such a choice was not much in her mind, when she wished Lancelot not to read her incorrectly. Although she wished it a more quiet place where ever it may be. She had shook Lancelot, mostly for the good, but he was right that not all would have. She couldn't know whom to trust and she was very easy to trust everyone. She was but a teen when she was taken and her innocences can take the best of her. She is all for coming in and making her statement. She wasn't one to hide who she was. She wouldn't wish to make everyone hate her. All her reasoning would be to help them. Any who needed it. She didn't wish to be remembered for making things worse or that she was all but needed. Surely, they needed her. Or someone did!

It was beginning to be clear. That whatever connection Kory had with Lancelot it was getting closer. Every step. Every gesture and every word. Was bringing them closer. A friendship, that could survive a century perhaps. Then she truly couldn't say she or he could trust one another so vastly. Perhaps along things journey they could find that. There were so many ways of love. Kory knew that well. It seemed common to imagine love of expressed to a lover or family. Who was to say, blood meant you were family. Friends could be just as loved. Maybe this was something that could be the stepping stone of their relationship. Where ever it maybe leading. Surely, if there was someone else in his life. She was not going to push. Not if he didn't want her.
Her eyes ran over his features. Watching as he was taking in her words. Thinking everything over. It wasn't a case she was trying to make him question everything he had done to get him here. She was merely trying to keep him focused. Everyone along the way, steps of their path and need a little guiding. Even though in the literal sense, Kory was lost. She knew where she was. Every now and then, she also can need some guiding. She liked he questions her ways. When one looked at something one way, there was always another way one could look at it.
"With purpose like ours, you cannot quit pursuing it. Maybe you just need to keep looking. Sometimes the hardest person to find, is yourself. It can be quite easy to lose and you won't even know it... You still love her, I can tell. I wouldn't be quick to say it isn't the same for her. Emotions may change, but they never fade..."
She was flattered by the smile and the wink. For all she was trying to was help. To Guide. What was life? But a series of lessons and teachings. She hardly knew everything, just as much as Lancelot did. Kory was pleased, he was beginning to read her emotions a little better. They were who she was. Sometimes her emotions can a like a ball ready to burst. Sometimes like a ripple on the water. What ever way they were going to brought out. Kory felt everything. She toyed at the idea of his silences as she had given him the choice of her names. She was sure he was brewing some ideas in his head already. It amused her. Although she imagined they'd all be sweet. She smiled a little more as he mentioned the so far being pleased by her actions. Maybe it was a means to be careful in the future, but she hardly doubted she would be.
"Do I need to be more clear about your skills, Lancelot? I am not sure it is so much accusing of, more fact and I meant it. I can say, if this was a choice this moment, then I 100 times over choose it... Oh, you choose to be stuck with me. I admire that even more. "
It wasn't so much something to accomplish, as so much as just getting some sort of reaction. She had only expressed the touch as to show a little more than just some words. It wasn't to benefit from her side, more his. An offering as it maybe wiser to describe. Although she did wish to touch him and feel something beneath her fingers. It was a nice touch. Who was she to deny that. Her pupils brightened as his skin changed some more. She couldn't see how this was really changing his appearance in such a bad way. It was just his emotions surfacing. She smiled sweetly, for he seemed like it was something he shouldn't have. There couldn't be much he could do to change it. His emotions were what he was, whether he understood them or not. She had barely begun to bang on his door and bring him out. He was much already out, all by himself. Maybe just a little more of a push. His emotions maybe more easy to take.
"That's the thing I don't know, but I want to know how it happened. Then again maybe just the fact it happened, is more important. Maybe not, then I am looking at the man... I dare say he is attracted to something with a few more legs, but thank-you."
She lifted her shoulders then dropped them as she couldn't have a perfect answer for why, how she managed to be blessed with an opportunity to have some sort of friendship, with someone like him. Whatever the reasoning behind it, they had met and she had to believe. There was something to gain from this. There was something to be taught. To teach. She wasn't about to push how a knight reacts, for she couldn't know. She only was really looking at the man. Not everyone could be the mask forever. Her lips smiled as Lancelot spoke of how his steed viewed her. She wasn't sure the steed and Lancelot saw her the same way, but it was sweet if it was. Again she smiled.
"I am ready Lancelot. Just simply extend your desire to know and I shall grant it. I cannot read your mind, so I cannot say when it is you that is ready to listen... All my past is my past. It has shaped me, but it isn't what rules me. I rarely look back to reflect, more they are just memories. I cannot change the past and I wouldn't wish to. There is nothing wrong with feeling pain. Sometimes its my means to something good to feel... It isn't Camelot. Your so much running away from. Just sounds like your just seeking more knowledge. More of who you are. Where ever it is you are from, that was who you were. That was all you knew, how you saw the world. Then it was taken. You now see a much bigger world and everything you believed has changed. You might be just seeking that comfort you once had."
It was hard to pin point how to explain that she had no secrets. There really was nothing to hide. It wasn't something she had really thought about. She could see from his eyes why she should. She dealt with moments how they were and moved on. If they were brought to the surface again, then so be it. They were meant to be felt and there wasn't nothing wrong with how she felt. How Lancelot spoke of the Literal of leaving Camelot to seek something else as if it was choking him. She wasn't sure it was so much Camelot chasing him away. If it was such a dread, he wouldn't return. She knew well of how simple and comfortable life felt when she was but a child. Valaria was all the world she really knew. Her safety. If not for this push, she probably would be still there and never took that leap.
Her world, her family was now gone. As if she had died and now this was a new world. She could be easily victim to finding something to fill what she had lost. Perhaps this was the same for him. For was not freedom everywhere. It was maybe a natural thing to something to fight it. Much like good and evil. Balance. Maybe Freedom would be taken for granted if not for these. Kory wasn't about to explore that anymore.
"I guess I haven't been overly coy with my emotions or my mind... You are welcomed to keep appreciating my beauty and my thoughts. While you are frustrated with my insides verses my outsides. Both are just as important. Your words bring me joy. It isn't a matter of me being fearless or if I have them. Just a matter of casting them a side, really. I do not have many, but I am not afraid to back down... If it would better your outcome, maybe... I will keep that in mind, Sir Lancelot
There was much for Kory to respond with. She was merely enjoying his choice of words. Expressing himself and it amused her in a good way. She loved knowing how she came across. Her appearances and her actions. For his views on them she needed to know. Feel his emotions. It was a nice feeling to feel beautiful in another's eyes. Not everyone saw things in the same way, even if they are not blinded. Some are attracted to someone and others aren't. He wasn't just attracted to her because she was beautiful. That was a little one sided. Maybe how he detailed her hair was in a different way than to hers or another. Were his blushes not an emotion from inside? She smiled. For in truth these were just simple gestures, she simply liked. Who didn't? She had seen the direction to lead to her outfit, but it seemed something he must have been questioning. Finally asking.
"This is not much different before I was taken. In Valaria it was common to dress as little or more as we liked. I am just as comfortable with a lot less, usually nothing. I know it is not the same for everywhere else, it is not my place to change that... I'm not offended to be a princess I will always be that. I just differ on where it should place me... Love was everywhere in Valaria. In every kind of way. The letting go can be a climb, but it is quite something once your past that."
Her clothes were normal to her as was nudity. It wasn't something she thought was anything to be strange or weird. It was merely the reflection of the herself. Her openness on the outside was just reflecting how open she was inside. One in the same. She knew not everywhere stood by such thoughts and she wasn't in position to change that. She could dress more. In some way she would still make it her statement, just being respectful during it. She couldn't question his, that was clear. Not that she was opposed to his Camelot armour. It was quite fetching, If she did say so herself. Her parents created a princess and that was what Valaria was given. She was at a time set to be queen. There was not a part of her that did not want that. In Valaria, such things differed. Yet, in the end she was Kory first. She wasn't one to place someones importance before or below her own.
"I may seem limitless, but freedom has responsibilities. I value Loyalty, Trust and Respect quite highly, as well as other things. I do not think I am so easily placed in types and I do not always get my way. I am just more spirit free. I go with my emotions. There are boundaries, but they aren't my focus."
Pulling in her in was a subtle way of putting it. He was toying with her mind. Making her question and really seek deeply. It was nice. She had not had such a conversation in a long time. For though in captivity it was rather lonely despite she was hardly left alone. There was one that may have understood her, but didn't care to listen.
"I wasn't sure it was going to work. I guess we'll never know had it be someone else, if it had been different. It made it more enjoyable anyways. Such a dangerous thing magic and yet can be exciting. Almost makes me think it is more inner magic. For I think I still fill hints of it remain... Then that could be another emotion I cannot quite understand yet. Maybe soon my natural magic will rub into be a friendship that connects us... I am what ever you wish to place me Lancelot. Warrior. Woman. I am both. Hmmm. My softer side. I guessed it slipped. Still there? I fear Lancelot you have not seen me just yet. I can be very gentle... Well, so far I am liking how you play it. Not that this is a game. "
She did not make to pull her wrists free. It did not reminder her or bring have painful memories. These actions were not the same. For the emotions behind was different and Kory could see that. His words were golden. She loved this confident side that was coming out and the man before her eyes. He was all that a knight stood for. To be Noble even Noble to ones own emotions. There wasn't so much a case of winning Kory. Her companionship was free it was merely there to be taken, but it had to be proven worthy to take. In his actions as well as his words and how he expressed them. She felt the tight warmth of his grasp. It was a nice touch, She had wished for him to catch her and he had. Just as he had took her wrists he soon returned them. It was very sweet. She hadn't to worry that he would have grabbed them and wouldn't return them. She would show more and more trust as they went along. She hadn't had such a joyous moment in a very long time. So it was possible the emotions were high because of that. The freezing moment of when she ran her eyes and her touch upon his face. He felt her softness, but felt her spark beneath. Her emotions that were flagged. How could such a moment be denied? It was of pure joy. His final words amused her. He had given into whatever the emotions laid between them. There hadn't been much of a plan to kiss him again. Though he offered and she wasn't to say no. For she wished it. It had somewhat surprised he had carried her to the grounds. This had to have been more out of being the moment than his plan. Her lips were the whole time his. She had let out some joyful laughs as she was carried and set down. His hands upon her waist tickled her and her body responded. Her eyes filled with a few tears of joy. As he tickled her. A slight delightful pain. As she kissed him some more. Her hand played upon his cheek. Her eyes playfully now watching his. Soon she found her lips and smiled.
"If I keep distracting you we'll never get anywhere and I fear I have not eaten in years, it feels. Shall we? Oh and best keep that I'm ticklish to yourself. Our secret."

The way he spoke made her mind wonder through it. Possibly seeing how he saw it. She so wanted to go there. Or did she? For she had her own path. Maybe somewhere it would cross with another, but she had her own to bare. Kory couldn't back down and just play house. Make the sacrifice so that maybe one could do as they wished. Kory played upon him with interested eyes. She somehow pictured Lancelot as merely a boy and in a sea of black. What was it that this boy had lost? It was so dark, Kory could not make it out. Maybe that was it, Everything. The boy had lost everything, that had been his life before. It was heartbreaking. Somethings, a child shouldn't see. If she had been there in much a way she was now, she would have held him tightly. It pleased her to know he hadn't succumbed to it. He had lived on. Was it not why he was here?
Such terrible things just sometimes happen. Whether it is suppose to stop or not. In ways, Kory thought they are meant to happen. It would change someones life forever. For if it didn't happen, it is possible Lancelot would not have been brought here. She liked where he was now, was that guilty to say. A guilty thought. Surely on some level he knew it happened only to make him stronger, makes a child grow up quicker and what is ways can create a hero. Had she paused to long. Was she appearing unkind? For if he seeking her to be sad for him or Pity him, she would not do that. It might just pull back instead of pushing him forwards. He had already come so far. Though she was sad for the child, she was sure it was the same for him. Two lifetimes lived. That boy, there was hint of him still, but he was vastly changed. She was sure of that.
"Do you not see, Lancelot? Your wishes are the same! Wanting to be a knight to save another, that is a purpose. Such a purpose won't be filled until the end of your days. A knight is not a wish. It is just what you are. You decided that was what you were going to be and by what I can see you took it. Given to you perhaps. Now is the time to prove yourself not just to others, but to you. Only in the end does it matter to you. We all have a path Lancelot, that we must bare. Sometimes if we're lucky paths cross, that is the balance and the belonging. We are given emotions for a reflection of life. There is no such straight answer and we are capable of many things. Most find it selfish to want so much or scared. But it is our right to live how we wish... I believe your confusing Possess with Belonging, your path maybe your own, but it doesn't need to be lonely. Sometimes a purpose and a belonging can be both."
Maybe her words had been too much. Had she spoken out of term. She could not regret them, for they were how she felt. She was ruled by her heart, not her head. Perhaps she could help him in his quest to finding himself some more. She had a thought she had tried to explain the ever need of purposes and she had tried saying it, but maybe wasn't clear. There was always more in life that one needed and Lancelot was still young, as was Kory. There was much he still had to discover. As did she. She can have the habit of forcing her opinion, but it wasn't in a way to change someones ways. If she could help even by her words, then she would try. She noted as she watched her eye him out a bit. Smiling again towards him. If she was confusing him. It was her intention, but it wasn't out distaste. She knows her level and she knows when it is too far. Sometimes it was just her, not even knowing she was being. She just wanted him to know more. Not just know she was beautiful and skilled. So far he had faired her well.
Did she play down his worth? His worth was of matter to her. He was who he was. It did not matter to much what secrets he held or what ruled his past. It was his past. It was him. It was his life. Who was to say his life was wrong? She wasn't. Whatever the steps that led him to here, they mattered. Perhaps not to her or anyone, but to Lancelot they did. Again he mentioned being 14. As if this was something she needed to remember. Or was it just to remind himself. Arthur. She had heard that once before, but to no real clue as to who this Arthur was. Did Lancelot think how Kory wished to address him was a way to bring him down? Because it was. Did he not like being where she was? She blushed. In truth she only wished to lift him up. She found it is slightly sweet his nickname was Lance. Was that supposed to be Ironic. She could only guess, but so far it had proved so. Again she blushed. Kory's eyes gleamed as he said she may call him as she liked. Yet, she could not think up names. Maybe that was left for later. Handsome, might be a good start. Well, she was glad the full address did not apply to her. She was sure she would trip up if she had to mention again and again. Then again. Not that she minded of course. Her eyes shifted.
"Then I am delighted. I'm not sure you should be offering such a choice, for I will have to hold you by that. I only prefer Kory, but I shall offer the same choice to you. For you were so kind and maybe foolish to give me. I can promise you they will not embarrass, much... I hope my actions have pleased you so far?"
So she teased him a little, he sort of deserved it offering such a thing. She laughed as she spoke of such things. This will keep her mind amused when she needed cheering up. It was a sweet thing for him to give her. Small and a little foolish. Such a precious gift. It wouldn't be fair, not to give him such a thing in return. Not something she would require from many, but she could trust he'd be wise about it. She smiled again. Feeling his gait move to hers. In zinc. It wasn't something she need to note or see. It seemed natural. It did please her he was relaxed. That nothing so far had displeased him. She wasn't to take back her words as such or be something she wasn't, but she would not be rude. Would not be unkind to someone who had been nothing but kind. Even if he had, she was sure her words wouldn't have been unkind. She could stand up for herself, but what is the saying. Do not say that you would not want to hear? Playing words in such a cruel way, was just not in her character not her intention. Thats not to say she would not speak her mind.
"Disaster can be beautiful, not always ugly. You shook my core! There is nothing poor about that!... I don't believe our destiny is in stone. I think it works in ways if you give something, then something is taken and the other way. Things can be changed, but I think somethings just happen because they are meant to. My death may be when I least expect, but it will come. That is fate. I did not have this path in mind and yet, here I am. Would you think I was meant to be somewhere else? Do you think we were not meant to meet if I did not end up here?... And, so I take it you do not wish to be stuck with me or on me?"
She liked that he played at her words, much like she did his. Though there seemed a base of self doubt in himself. If she could bring a hint of strength within himself, she would do that. There could be much she could teach him and for herself. He made her think and respected her. It was what I woman like she wanted. Needed. Some men wished to put down women, make them think less of themselves. If anything Lancelot, wished to make her wiser. He hadn't really said she was wrong or right. But maybe that he understood her views. She had thoughts to mention soul mates, but that was left for later. She could suggest that was him, just that her race believed in such a thing. for if for some reason it was him. He was her soul mate. If they had not met now, who's say they would never have met some other place or time. In this lifetime or the next. Maybe that was more hope than fate in her heart. Her last question was more out of amusement. Yet maybe he didn't. She had no right to make him think otherwise. Not that she minded if he did. Her eyes looked down at that thought.
She listened to his words as she gave her attention towards his steed. The black hairs tangling out through her soft fingers. It had not gone unnoticed that Lancelot had responded to her touch. So his cheek was rough and yet she sought it beautiful, beneath her own soft skin. He was everything that a man should be, Kory imagined. For as much as she put down how men treated a woman. A man was not entitled to be paid in some way Depending on the man and that maybe, Lancelot. Kory could treat him well. Such a man did not deserve the weight and shame that other men took. Lancelot deserved to be seen and treated with the up most care. For he need to feel just as important and special. She would not be the one to kill his light, she would only wish to make it brighter. Her pink lips made to a hinting smile, just hinting her softness. Imagining maybe someone if not Kory could make him happy. She moved back to Lancelot's side. For some reason she wished to link her arm with his and not out of her desires of lust. Yet, just out of wanting to comfort him. Or more to be friends. Yet, she could not. It maybe to forward in his world.
"I did not mean to embarrass you, Lancelot. Although I do like that colour on you. Only enhances what I see... I find the forest with ease. Is this why you changed the subject? I'd much rather speak of how I came to find you, than some trees. Not that I do not like trees, but after seeing so many. They just you know, become trees. They are beautiful, but they are still trees. Now your embarrassing me."
She spoke as her eyes traced his face and noted the slightly different colours to his cheeks. Although she favoured his skin as it was, they were a little more warmer now. She did not wish to embarrass him, but she liked seeing his emotions. She could almost feed off of them. They were natural to her and he was wasn't any less beautiful because he showed such things. Or less than a man, if that be his thought. Then she took his question of the forest lightly, she was sure she caught it as a subject change. Yet, she could not understand why he wished to hear her views on trees. Did she wish to detail every tree in the forest? Her eyes played with him. For was this something trying to trip her again, showing her less creative side. So she said what she felt of them, yet she found only to confuse herself. She was not a shamed he embarrassed her. Keeping her on her toes was a nice thing.
"I am grateful, Lancelot. For your offer. I do not think he is mine to take... I shall ask him if I need to borrow. I have not felt my legs in some time, I'd much prefer to stay on foot. If we need to haste, then maybe he'd allow us both. Of course if you think you can stay upright at my grip."
Kory didn't much question Lancelot's offer. She was glad to it. It wasn't something she was seeking. Yet, she wasn't sure Lancelot was the one to offer something like that, but different worlds. Maybe his horse understood her better. Kory smiled. She was joking. Although Horses feed off emotions, much like her race. So once she had shown her offering. The beast knew she would not hide from him. It was his choice whether he trusted her or not. She couldn't understand the companionship so greatly. For a knight or for Warrior. She had been taught the horse was the extension of the rider. If it was wounded, it was painful, but it would heal. It would seem more painful if considered a friend. Who would risk such a friend? She had heard enough horses cries of death. If you have not heard such a thing, your heart is safe. For it so sharp it could pierce glass. It be too much if that was the sound of a great friend, she imagined. She admired this might be how Lancelot would feel. A weakness and a strength.
As their pace began again. She was content with how things were going. She questioned if he'd be the next to extend a touch. For he responded well with her last. Could he be wanting more? Did he require to be touched? Or did he prefer to touch? It would have to be both ways. She guessed.
"I am not trying to hide from you, Lancelot. If there is something you wish to know. You may simple ask it of me. I have no secret nor anything I wish hid. What good would that do?... The walls scared you off? Freedom isn't a bad thing. I am delighted you seek it... I.. It was a jest Lancelot. That you came for me. I have a wish now, Lancelot. I wish to know how you find me as a gift? I did not think I am perfectly wrapped. Then you did say special gift. We all know special isn't always in the good sense... Then I best not speak of fears if they offend you. I myself do not have much reason to fear, but if I said I had none. That would be false. I'm not sure it is wise to share my fears with a knight, you might use them against me and I do not wish you to up and leave me... I am not sure if this means I am a good distraction, but I take that as a yes. If so. I will gladly use it to my advantages, then."
She couldn't just up and hold him. She had no claim to just touching him as she wished. Kory did draw herself closer. Almost his arm touched hers as she walked. This was almost more pleasurable than the other acts she had thought of. For if they spent a lifetime just doing this, she could be ok with that. Of course, she would may have a hint of regret she never acted upon her deeper feelings. She was no one to deny such things nor any of her emotions. They were who she was. If there was something Lancelot needed to hear. She would tell him. She wasn't sure he had the time to sit down and listen to her like a book. She was not sure it would fit on pages. Her life was not all that simple and yet it was not any better or worse than another. She did like he wished to know and she wished to know about him. For as long as fate had plans for a later death, they had at least a little time to speak. Although she knew death was always around the corner, which was why she lived more by the moment. What happened, happened? She joked that the walls scared him off, it was just from the way he had said it. Yet, she wished to see such walls and a place that may keep and chase, Lancelot. For though he was here, he would always return to Camelot. Right? She gathered by all his words. Camelot was not so much home for him, maybe. He had been from somewhere once he had called home. He may not have seen anything yet to match it. She wished to know of such a place. For she was sure it was much how she viewed Valaria. As she moved along with him close beside her. Her head looked to him in between glances of the path. It was easy to say the path was not really in view. She expressed feelings with her hands, using body language to help smooth the words out to him. Was she too animated for him? Too alive? As her mind travelled to presents and wrappings. She wished to know how he wished she was dressed. Or about anything he saw. She didn't wished to be perfect, even though she knew her attraction. She knew she was blessed by her parents. She was the symbol of love. She would gladly be proud of it.
"Well I am open to being your princess more than my own. I cannot object... You needn't be sorry. It was not your doing and it wasn't yours to stop. If anything it has made me stronger. For that I am grateful for. They may had me physically, but I would not allow them the ability to break me. I knew if I bid my time well, the moment would a rise that I could find my escape. You have as much to blame as my parents for choosing it. For I could easily take the easier road to blame or find revenge for my sister, but that is not living. That would be seeking the death of me. I saw my whole world taken from me. I cannot sit and wonder what I could of done or should have. I can make sure it does not happen to another. I can turn my misfortunes into something better... That is the purpose I seek... Please for give me if I misplaced your meaning of control. For the situations have only just passed me. I may have left them behind and play little of its affect on me. My views have much changed since they happened... I understand giving yourself to someone. That was how it was where I was from. It is not getting control, it is letting it go and giving in."
She spoke full heartily now. Opened up a little of what had happened. If he wished for details, she could gladly give them. Though she may have become greater for it and grown stronger. There was no one bit of it all, Kory did not remember. She was sure it wasn't soon to leave her mind. She would just not let the memories consume her or control her life. She was so much better than that. She was pleased he was sorry for it, but there was no need. Even though she knew he did not mean it that way, but still. If not for all of it. Maybe she wouldn't of met him and yet she doubted that. She felt her body warm up as her heart spoke. Perhaps as much as Lancelot has lost before, it was much the same for her. Yet, there was so much to gain. She smiled.
"Your seeking my guidelines? I believe I left them behind. Would you care to help me find them? I do quite like being above, but I do not detest to being below. I prefer a more chain reaction, if you get my meaning. The flowing as you so delicately put it."
If Kory could read Lancelot's mind. She was laughing at not having control of herself or her urges. She was all for letting go. She was not ruled by just passion or pleasure. but be every emotion one could feel. Even some others did not feel. Yet she was all for letting go, she knew when the right time was and when to stop. She knew herself very well and yet she knew there was always more to learn. There was that thought stopping was just going to make this trip longer and she was fine with that. There was no need to rush. There was always danger to stop and though it was her purpose. She had duty to herself as well. Perhaps to this knight. This man. She could feel him itch to be closer and she took that step. Was there something in his eyes she hadn't caught before? She was sure she was finding something new every time. She laughed silently, though it was read upon her cheeks and as her eyes left his for a moment. Maybe in all this time thinking she was Captivating him. It was in truth the other way around. She just would need to brace herself. If she tied herself to him, it might not be so easy to let go. It might consume her more than anything and he might not even realise it. That in doing so she might lose herself.
"I did not choose to have magic placed within me. Although it did tingle my nerves in a nice way at times... I think I remember I pulled you! I did not mean to control you. I thought it would be harmless to try. If it was the magic and not me, then I am at ends. For I thought it was me you follow now... Warrior? But I thought you were but a knight. So you wish to win me in by your words? I did not know I was the prise nor the target. If you think my words are playing to win you, you do not know me very well. For I am sure I do not need them for that. Though I have been proved wrong before, if you can believe."
She knew bases of what he meant with the magic and that if a more heartless man had come along whether to gain or tear Kory down. If not being able to slay him or bring the man down. She knew how to be polite. She wasn't one to speak out of term if it meant to put her in something not worth her time. For a little woe she was not seeking if it effected her means to her goals. She knew how to stand up for her self without stepping the line. She played upon that he had mentioned time and time again. He was a knight. He was even dressed up as a knight. She wasn't about to fight over the differences between Warrior and Knight. Although she smiled. She could not say that he was neither. Maybe both. Just she was no knight. Her morals maybe the same, but she could not fight for one man. But for all. Who was she too choose? Who lived or who died? If she could save she would do that. If it was born, she thought it was for a reason. Whether it benefited her in anyways. She was taken back by his quick hold of her. As if he had been playing the thought over and over and until he just gave in. Her eyes fell like melted ice. Her face lightened. She could feel her body tingle. He would need to be careful. She was the ticklish kind. He might not be able to cope with her tears of joy. Her mouth parted a little in a surprise, but of joy. Her tongue beating behind her teeth. As if to much emotion, she hadn't much effort to smile. It was tried, though. Maybe it was mostly in her eyes. Her eyes searched his face, as did her hands then followed. Seeing him almost in much different way than the first moment she had embraced him. She felt the shaped of his cheeks, the base of his throat. Having a thought to grab and see if he had expected it. She gave a wondering look at it, to see his reaction, but she did not grab it. Instead her fingers traced it lightly. Moved around the bones of his eyes, the strands of hair that had fallen in its wake and then her fingers traced his mouth. She lightly placed her finger on them holding them for a couple of seconds. Pondering her next move and soaking in the moment. Who could tell when it would be their last? If she was blessed with part a second with him, she was grateful for that and asking for more was maybe asking to much. She even swallowed deeply in her throat. Catching some nerves she did not realise she had. Her head looked to him side ways, her eyes and head in some other angles. Peering to see if what she might do or they will do, will please him. She could at least try.
"Don't think this as so much as control, as letting it go."
She spoke lightly. She then offered her last smile before her mouth was not hers anymore. Her eyes soon disappeared as did her mind and her body. She had consumed herself with in his hold. She was strong and a warrior, but there was a chance she might fall into him. With little balance. She was sure the fall would not be a bad thing, for Lancelot was there. Or Sir Lancelot. As she so lovingly liked.

It was pleasurable feeling her voice once again. Feeling once whole again, not that without it did she totally feel like someone else. She had always been Kory. It be a matter of time whether, Lancelot would choose his alliances with her. Would he see a friend or foe? She doubted foe, but then he hadn't seen her brutal side. It may shape how he viewed her. Hopefully when he did he wouldn't miss seeing that she also carried softness. That in all the armour, she was just a woman beneath it. A human. If she was guilty of far to emotions, she would gladly be her killer. She wouldn't live in this world without them. To be just another empty shell was not her destiny. She wasn't sure if she had caught Lancelot speak of Magic.
Did he see something, she couldn't? Was he confusing a spell with devotion. Maybe the kiss was truly meant for him. She of course wished to do it over and over again, until the world cracked. Maybe for him, the world had. Maybe she was the world and he was the moon circling around her. Did he need her help? To break the distance. Then this could be his burden to figure out. She only wished she'd be less a burden and more like destiny. We'll see how things go, she figured. She couldn't deny she liked how he maybe thinking she was. A nymph as if she was born from the trees themselves. A creature not seen before. Would it dishearten him to learn, that she was just a woman? Though she was just unlike many he knew or even existed in Britannia. She maybe a woman, but she was her own woman.
There was a feeling she had as his eyes watched her leave possibly leaving him behind. She only wished to know his thoughts and yet she didn't. Only the fact his attention upon her, she very much liked. She wondered if he laughed under his breath as she fixed her outfit. Was he even looking at that at all? That she couldn't know. His eyes seemed to be surprised that she turned to face him, but that she remained where she was. She wasn't begging him to meet her, a little. Whether he was fighting it or not, he moved towards her. His eyes dancing upon her own. Her eyes followed his frame, watched his movements, before retreating back towards his eyes a few times. He asked her wishes. Perhaps she was false. He had been reading her mind, but then why did he ask. Wasn't that clear. She blushed.
"What every soul wishes? A purpose. A belonging. What is it you wish, Lancelot?"
She never had played upon to much of wishers. She had always imagined whatever it was she desired, she could take it if she proved worthy enough. Yet, she believed in free will, but not everything was taken freely. Her eyes ran over him as she asked him. She wondered what may lay at the base of his heart. Did he have more desirers. than she did? Were they similar. She didn't half expect to hear her name as an answer, but she could feel a wish brewing inside her. She blushed slightly. It was going to take a few more questions and a few more glances, before she could offer that part of her. There was a tingling beneath her fingers. She so wished to feel whether it was cold. Was it warm? The details of his chain mail. How thick would it be? Would she be able to feel him underneath it? She had thought she had when he was once cloaked. Then there was that wish, that thought of underneath the chain mail. She envisioned well built and something that could take away her breath. Did he hold any more scars? Maybe he would show her. There had to be scars, even she had her own. Was it silly to like such a thing? No, there was nothing wrong how she felt.
Her eyes had to leave him for a second. Her mind needed adjusting. She smiled, this time more for herself than for him. Her chest came more relaxed and yet she still felt the tingles. Her eyes watched him again at her reactions. He noted her response to his name. It was the one title, the one word he was born with and is own. Of course she reacted to it. She needn't the time for the knight at present, she wished to know beneath and what stirs him. What may have led him in this path? Of course she desired to share war stories and he must be craving for some knowledge of where she was from. If all was well, those moments would come. Was he in fear she was completely going to disappear? Her smile brightened as he spoke his full name. Maybe he didn't wish for her to have shortened it. She just couldn't resist saying Sir Lancelot. It was just too perfect. It was like he was born with the title more than it was given.
It was nice she had found she hadn't offended him greatly, she had pondered whether he'd still follow her. Seek her out. For she so wished for him to chase her. As she walked with him beside her. She listened to his words. There was possible parts of which he was teasing her, himself. She was impressed. For she wasn't as serious as she looked. She was just a free spirit. Something not so easily seen.
"Do you mind being called Sir? It seems quite fitting for Lancelot. Are you content if I call you Lancelot? Is it a knight thing to be addressed fully?"
As her movements moved her forwards, Kory slowed her pace. There no real hurry. Camelot wasn't going anywhere, yet. But Lancelot might. It would take Lancelot sometime she was sure to realise. How differently she saw things. Where she was from most things was different. Even how they spoke. It might be hard to tell whether she was confused or just smart. Whether she had a quick tongue or she was just light headed. Many make the idea she is a dumb or she doesn't understand. She understands more than it seems. Maybe Lancelot could be one to understand her. Her eyes focused upon him, it was possible. There was a sense of calm despite they didn't know each other that well.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that. Who's to say you haven't left me unharmed? With a mouth like yours. Next time might be disastrous... I'm not sure it was magic, or more just fate. I'm sorry, this might mean your stuck with me. Or on me, I don't mind"
Her voice played upon the words. She hadn't planned them, they just came. She hadn't planned his reactions, that he could do with how he wished. Was this something not expected. Was she not what he expected. Was she something he saw more strange than wondrous. A part of her wondered, but she didn't mind if he did. Just then he called her beautiful. It was sweet. Not that she hadn't heard it before, but it somehow was different coming from him. As if she only wished to be pleasing to him. She was all that was colourful of this world. She had come across all rainbow of men. Yet, here she was. With a man with simple features of brown hair and brown eyes. Oh and his skin. She loved his skin. Somehow he compelled her. Somehow he was more desirable than any she crossed. It was possible it was in the way he looked at her. Not in the way he wished to eat her and suck her dry. He only wished to see her alive, maybe that was what he was missing. The feeling of being alive. Did he wish for Kory to help? She could do that.
"Then I am honoured to be the first, for that is what I see. I am sure I am not blinded... Do you mind?"
Her features softened as she thought perhaps he might find comfort in her words. Not from just being a soft heart hot blooded woman. She can't deny when such a handsome man is before her. He is beautiful, it seemed natural to say it. Somewhere her paced slowed even more, that she had stretched out her hand and placed it upon his cheek. Surely she was not blinded. She smiled and then retreated her hand. It took a lot of effort not to touch more and longer. She stopped and motioned towards his stallion as she had asked him, if he minded. Her hand then disappeared in the slip of her skirt, a pocket. Her hand revealed some seeds. They were a little mix of greens and reds, they sparkled slightly. She watched the steeds eyes with softness as she came to its mouth. Offering her hand. The steed took it. Kory smiled and her hand ran over the black mane. She noted the extra glint in its eyes now and he now trusted her. She was sure he enjoyed and wished for more, but she needed to save a part of her world. These were not common seeds, they were rare and they were special to Kory. For a second she swore she saw her goddess with in the horses eyes. An understanding. She nodded in response.
"These are only found in Valaria, well. They were up until a few days ago. Blessed by the goddess herself."
Kory's eyes ran over the horse as she spoke to Lancelot. She could feel the strength and a possible tie with its rider. She was curious if it was more a companionship or an extension of Lancelot. With one last feel of the black muscles beneath her hand, she stepped back towards Lancelot. She was sure things she was taught wasn't the same for him, or were they. It made her smile that Lancelot thought he had figured her out. All of her. She wasn't sure. Maybe seeing what he wanted. Is there a way she could open him up a little more? Let her in.
"This may surprise you, Lancelot. I am not so easy to pin down. Well, depending on the situation, of course. I have already felt your weight... So the safety of Camelot is your doing? I am impressed. I am not surprised. Though I am surprised they let you out of their sights then. Are you seeking something? That does not exist in Camelot? Don't tell me, its me. If I showed up in some vision, it wasn't me... I have done the impossible before. Have you never been told, to face your fears, Lancelot? Everything has a weakness. If for some reason we come across such a beast. I'll be your shield. I'm better at distracting I gather "
She felt the insiders of herself unwinding before him. Surely he took the play of words as they were. Of wonder and light hearted. Though there was a very base of truth to her words. Somehow she had replayed the kiss with Lancelot on top of her. It was close to being that. Then she imagined Lancelot in some bed in a candle lit room, she couldn't quite make out if it was a tent or stone room. Sleeping and dreaming of her. Her eyes trying not to trace to much of his body, even though she knew his body laid naked. Had he dreamed something, she was sure she had not visited him. She would remember that. She smiled as her mind played. Surely, he wasn't going to label her a child. She wasn't much of one. She was a woman with a playful mind. An Open mind. Seeking sides to things one might not have. She knew how to flirt. How to attract. Maybe she couldn't capture his life, but she could captivate him. Leave her mark so to speak.
His last speech, she wasn't sure whether he was trying to confuse her. Was he trying to trip her up how she felt. She didn't care to change his views and she wasn't trying to suggest he thought such ways. She had merely offered her thoughts. Take them how ever he wanted. She wasn't planning on hiding anything she was. What was there to hide? There was no one this information would care to know. There was no one left in the world at present that knew her. Almost like she had already lived two lifetimes. He did have strong opinions of his own. She admired that. Though she wasn't sure if he stood by them, completely anyways. Was there some hint of doubt. Within himself.
"I know what it's like to be controlled, to be chained and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Why would I desire to control you? It wouldn't be true nor right. If your speaking in the lesser sense in act, such like pleasuring, that is different. That is not so much as control as an unspoken request. That I can do. Don't get me wrong. I understand there are rules for a reason, but I have always seen them more like guidelines. There is no where written that one has to do something, for yet people still choose to do it or not, despite what may happen in result. You may not see us equal, but I see you that way. Would you wish it some other way? Would you prefer above me or below me? Or would you prefer to be beside me? Again I am not speaking in terms of acts of pleasure, we both know that changes in the moment. "
She drew herself closer to him. Wanting him to get the words she spoke. He maybe trying to confuse, but she could not hide what she thought. If he thought her wrong, that is fine. Was he implying that if she wished him deeper she would sort to tricking him. Make him come to her. For as much of her desirers to bed him or seek some bond with him, he needed to decide. She wanted him to want it just as much as she did. Of course she can be the type when in the heat of the moment to be the one controlling. She never had the choice in the past. It wasn't out of wishing to corrupt, but to please. To make one feel loved. If there was a control, it needed to be the other side, it needed to be balanced for her to be ok with that.
"Just for later reference, there is a vast difference between influence and control. At least how I view it... I just guessed your a knight of a king or a prince, your views of power would be similar. Though in truth I cannot read your mind, so forgive me if I spoke of lies. I did not mean for it. I just wished to extend how I view it. Old Religion? Are you suggesting I'm a witch, Lancelot? For I do not play with Magic, although it has played me. I do not detest to it, but I don't see the need for it. Then I am but a warrior... As long as your not searching for a princess we're good. That's not that I am suggesting to treat me underrated of course. The title shouldn't be your means of how you treat me, is all I mean. Do you wish me to treat you as a Knight? I have to admit I am not overly familiar to Camelot's formal ways. so please tell me if I speak out of place... Oh and if you represent the short cut, then please take me there."
Kory showed her kind side, although she was sure she hadn't shown anything short of that earlier. She wasn't always one to apologize when it came to her words. In most cases it was just how she was, but if he found something false in her words, she was sorry. She didn't wish to put him in a corner or a box. She liked him too much where he was. She did not mean that he suggested she was a witch, it was just how he put old religion and finding other knights in the forest, as if he might be suggesting they might think. She wasn't sure if witch was good or a bad thing, she just knew she wasn't one. She was a warrior trained for combat. To face all kinds of evil. Trained to rely on what was real. She was interested how he wished her to see treat him. For she wished to treat him as a proud man he seemed to be, she could throw some remarks about him as knight. For he looked good all dressed up and it wasn't a lie. This whole knight was him, in a way. She was sure he just didn't wake up and there he was a knight. This was his calling, his choice. No one had controlled him to do so, or at least she was sure of that. He didn't seem to be the fighter that he was pushed. Did this not drive him forward? As it did for her. She had enough of the Camelot references and mentions, she wished him to lead her if he desired. Quickly if he could. Although, why was she rushing it. Why not soak herself in his presence some more.

How life changing? One kiss can make. It had in more ways changed Kory and in mostly in good. She was in control. At least with her mouth. She knew being in control wasn't always needed. She knew how to let go and give in her most wanted desirers. She couldn't hide from what she needed and wanted. Oh, yes some part wanted more, but they didn't out weigh what she needed. She needed to find the end to this path. No a Beginning. Yet, she couldn't stop the leaping of her chest. Nor could she stop him returning of the kisses. So it hadn't been not something she imagined. He had drawn her in as much as she had pulled him. Begged for it more than she had. She had barely realised he had dropped his weapons as well, for they were not a present thought at the time. Only him.
There was almost a connection made between them even if they couldn't truly understand it. Whether it was the fact she knew this wouldn't be the last time she'd see him, she knew somehow he'd always linger in her thoughts. A part of him was now a part of her. Though she couldn't just play dumb, falling into his arms and beg for him to run away with her. For before this meeting, she was sure he had a life. Duties perhaps and still did. He held importance somewhere. Besides she knew she was meant for more than just love in this world, maybe along the way it would finally snag her and she could balance her life. There was something that spoke it was him, but she knew that was just hoping. For as though she knew little of him, he knew even littler about her and she wasn't sure he'd like it. All of her. Maybe there was a girl back where he had come waiting for his return. Then again with such passion he had showed, perhaps more of a broken heart.
She couldn't understand from what she saw and felt, why one would turn away from him. He seemed the type once you caught him, you never let go. Unless it wasn't in the girls heart. Then she wasn't foreign to the idea that one could love more than one. It was accepted where she had come. For how ever many things were bad about her kingdom as well as there were good things. At least it wasn't down to the fact that they hid their feelings. If anything they were too open, wore their emotions on their sleeves so to speak and when one loved it was forever. It wasn't something she could give and then decide to take it back. Once given it was no longer hers to take back.
Before she had turned from his gaze, she was sure she saw a hint of longing. As if he already missed her. It was a sweet thought. Maybe she could find a friendship in this and then see how things go. She just wasn't the type to trap. She knew the power her body had at times and she was least shy about that. He needed to know her and fully trust her. Not that she wasn't trustworthy, she was. She was always loyal to those closest to her and always open for strangers. Even though she couldn't quite pin him a stranger anymore. She probably felt him in ways most haven't, with that she had to smile. Her eyes ran over the path before her. Thinking in her mind. 'Where am I going?' 'Oh well'. She planned to just end up where it hit and then possibly figure it out from there. She had enough coin to see her threw the next year maybe a little more if she could spare some.
It had been at least six years since her capture, she could not fear what would come next. She was fearful of falling into isolation, but she was sure she was strong enough. It was possible where ever she was heading. Life will seem more simple. Even despite the lack of what women were expected. If maybe she could change just one thing about that, she hoped it would begin a movement. At the shake of her head, she could not quite imagine an army of women, but she's been surprised before. It wasn't war she wished for women to have a role in, just a little more freedom to choose ones life. Why was it in the concern of another what one did every second of the day? Surely if a woman wished to show a little extra skin, she wouldn't be branded and if she wished to choose her lover, she wouldn't be scorned. They were the big issues Kory knew were more or less, here to stay. She could at least make women less fearful. It was the one thing unspoken mainly that was expected. Women were weak and scared. Why should they stand down while threatened? While the men that are meant to protect them aren't around. If a woman stood up perhaps there be less damsels. She knew a great power of a woman was her womb, just by refusing or accepting she could shake a nation.
Her hands shifted her skirt a little, straightening back down. Was her top out her order? She checked it was fine. Then ran a hand around her head. Her hair seemed tamed despite its wild colour. Not that it mattered to much how she looked she was in the forest, with dirt all around. She was still a woman and wished at least things to be in place. It had surprised her she hadn't ripped his cloak of and several other things. She smirked. Kory figured she just had her mind on something else at the time. Should she look back. Perhaps she had without realising did. Surely, he'd be a little out of place himself. Kory was positive he took the heat of the passion the greatest with her weight against him. No, she will wait for him to come to her, this time. Maybe another gift some women have, maybe it was her. It wasn't much a game, but she did like to tease a little bit. If it wasn't going to hurt, it was fine right? She knew her level and when to stop. If anything she wasn't was heartless. Kory enjoyed watching a man chase her a bit or try to impress her. In most cases they can be fearful so she may start it off. Which in ways had been the kiss. So if this was tag, he was up now.
If only men knew it wasn't always about saying the right thing or doing what was noble. It was at least trying. Whatever he may throw at her, she was sure it was going to be sweet and she would in return offer her kindness. There was no point of some great love if they weren't friends first and she wished he may seek a longing friendship. It would be a together thing when it came to the next step and she would offer treatment that was only fitted for him. Then as quick like a dart. Her name came to her ears. It was always nice to hear it from a voice like his. It was almost in the way it said it. She smiled as he said 'Milady'. It seemed all very sweet and cute. Not in the noble formal way. For she guessed he realised, she wasn't always formal. She smiled. Who was to say her ways weren't formal? Well, at least natural to her. She smiled again.
It was rude to keep walking. So she stopped at turned to face him again. It was nice to see, Kory hadn't forgotten his face just yet. She dipped her head in response of her name, not much of a bow than just of kindness. It was swift as wind as he undid the cord of his cloak. At first for some reason, she thought he might be naked. She remembered the silver she caught earlier. It was maybe more of a wish than a thought. She was glad he wasn't a mind reader or was she? She smiled again. Ah. Armour. Just as good. Why did he hide this? Then as he spoke and he spoke plenty. She was impressed he didn't rush and she was able to catch every word.
Knight? Camelot? They were impressive words. In truth she only cared for one title and that was his name. Lancelot. It was easy to remember. Adding Sir, made it even more impressive. She guessed this was something hide, though a part of her wished she had seen this earlier. Either way, she had the honour of seeing this now. He was glorious and not in the way that he was trying to be that. There was something special about him and a hint of mystery in his eyes, but there was also something simple about him. Was he more comfortable in his skin than she had thought. What ever it was, she liked it. Did he think himself maybe one of the people? Instead of seeing himself above them, Maybe so. It was impossible to really know what he was thinking. He was someone she couldn't quite pin and yet felt she had known him some lifetime before.
She listened to his questions. Trying to seeking something without basically asking her life story. Oh, there. He said Milady again. She smiled again. This was all to sweet. For though he did not rush, she could maybe tell a hint of nerves and wishing to please. Not in the forceful way. just out of kindness. She looked at him with thought as he offered to help. Protect her. Guide her. She couldn't stop him from trailing with her, but this wasn't something she needed. Yet, she wanted it. He took the courage to ask and extend his respect. She couldn't just shut him down. That was too cruel. He almost made it out he needed it more than she did and that she liked. She wasn't one to take it all for herself. She did detest to the serving part. If he wished to serve her, he needed to find a better master. She would not be one to put him on a lease. She liked him how he was.
"Sir Lancelot? It falls on my tongue with such strength. A knight come to my rescue? This must be a fairy tale. Or did I fall down some magic tunnel? We just need some danger and where is your horse? Oh... I don't think this will leave my mind so quickly. I feel blessed to have seen, this, you. You are everything your names says to me. Don't take this in the wrong way, but you are beautiful."
She spoke his name not so much as a question than a statement. Surely he would allow her to embrace the fact she quite like it. It sounded too perfect. Not that he was without flaws. She liked flaws more than the perfections. What was his dark secret? She wondered if he had one. A name like that is enough to compel someone to look the other way. She smiled as spoke of some fairy tale they were in, yet that kiss was far from fake. So had he spotted her possibly dead and sought to save her. She didn't think a knight was a knight without his horse and as she asked, was then she spotted it. She had expected it to be white, but she guessed there are always another version of the story.
"There was no real plan I had. I just took what I could and headed the direction the path showed. Anywhere is safer and standing at least. Camelot. You say. I have heard of it. I have to admit I never even glimpsed it. I have heard of its dangers than safety, care to change my mind? Just keep in mind I don't wish to capture you. If you join me, it is your choice, your free will. Not that I don't wish for your company I am delighted, but though I am princess. I do not seek power nor do I wish to control it... I do not wish to trail in this forest for another knight, the chances are slim. If you wish for the better princess, I bid you good day Sir."
Camelot. She hadn't anything else in mind. It would do for now. She had always wished to see it. For though she heard of danger, there seemed to be something that drew people in and it seemed like a strong city. If they had Lancelot at their guard, perhaps it is why the dangers had not taken the city completely. It was still standing she was sure. She had been under ground as to put it for a couple years, barely 14. It was a long journey she believed, it was best to have company and he was her first choice. Did he think her picky? What was there about him that would make her think someone else was better? He was all the knight she needed. If this the sought of princess he expected of her, then he was best of finding someone else. With that she bowed to him when it may have been expected the other way and she turned. Continued on her path. She happy to treat him like a knight if that was what he wished, but she only wished to be treated fairly. There was a difference in making one feel special than making them feel superior.

The world around Kory faded. Was like a mist of greens and browns. Her eyes moved as he had circled her. His eyes never leaving. As if seeking a weakness. Was it the bruises or dried blood? That gave him thought to wonder. Was she holding her swords in a way which did not seem right to him. She could not focus on that. What he thought? Did not matter. She merely had to concentrate on what she was doing. Standing almost motionless. Was this confusing him? She wasn't seeking attack unless needed. She had come from a battle and she wished not to waste upon a single man. Not that she couldn't and she couldn't be sure if he meant no harm. She was just in Preparation. Although she did not like being circled. It made her feel even more like the target, the prey. As his every bit of his attention was upon her. As if in all this he had figured her out, but he seemed smarter than that.
Understanding perhaps that she wasn't just a woman. She was toy he could play with and she was animal to eat. Just don't mess with her and perhaps one should be fine. It was strange not to understand and even stranger not to be understood, verbally. How was she to extend any kindness? If all that came out were mingled words, that sounded like curses. What if all his words had been that? Kindness? She wished not to harm him if he had merely said 'Hello' or 'Did you need help?'. For was they not the more common things spoken when coming across alone woman in the forest. She could only guess. Perhaps he had asked her name. Just what did he planned to do with it. Even if she spoke, he could not know her. But she had to smile as she would happily give it, if she could. As she just as much wished to know his. He seemed so much more myth than legend. She had to admit something extra stirred as she watched his movements. As if they called her. Danced with her. He was something she had never seen and she had seen many men. Not many differing to the other.
She couldn't tell, if he knew he was calling her. Drawing her in through her mind. She liked how he sized her up, perhaps he liked her height. His eyes dancing upon curves and muscles. She liked that also. She swallowed hard as she thought he could be the answer to her spell. He could break it. Yet, she sure he was capable of breaking much more. For as though he appeared light and mythical. She was sure he could bring someone down without much effort. Her head moved, she was sure he didn't wish to break her or crush her. He seemed the silent type and they are the more dangerous. Could he be the undoing of her even after the spell was broken?
When she had taken her swift movements and pointed her sword to his throat. She could see it had surprised. Again his words played upon nearly dead ears. She felt the confusion in his tone and some form of a question, but she couldn't make it out. Again she liked his voice. He could be the calming type. Was this the first time he saw her eyes. For he seemed to have frozen before her. At first she thought it out of fear and she almost disheartened at the thought. No, he seemed dazed by her eyes. As if he merely sat at the door of her soul. Trying to find the key and hoping his blue eyes were the password. She also looked upon his eyes. They were even bluer now and beautiful. She had to admit. It wasn't in her to freeze completely. She needed to be rid of this spell, maybe then she could learn his name. Perhaps it be wiser to just move on, don't get him involved. What if he already was? She shook her head, this was hers to bare. Not that she was all that clear what it was. She noted at the corner of her eyes, his swords dropped. Almost defeat, but not completely. Enough for her.
Her eyes then played upon where her sword stood. Watching the very vessel in his neck moved for air. She could so easily cut this and if she cut just above there, she could control how it flowed. There wasn't many women that knew this and she didn't wish to make him bleed. Her eyes then danced upon his cloak. Almost a small hint of armour gleaming. Maybe he was a soldier of some kind, what matter was it, now? She pressed her sword harder to his neck, before releasing it. It fell to her side and she put the sword in her left hand upon her back. Her eyes then ran over his again. She doubted he'd pull away. With her left hand it moved quickly to the back of his head, with gentle force and she kept her sword in her right hand by her side in a weak grasp. She motioned to pull him in and almost push herself into him as well.
Her eyes shut, she could trust in this and her lips locked upon his own. Falling deeper and deeper into him. It was seeming forever as if literally time stopped and at least five decades had past. She felt the amazing warmth with his lips. Felt every imperfection as well as perfection in the skin. She couldn't object about the taste. She only wanted more. Her tongue ran along inside. She was sure she was safe from being bitten. Her whole body fell into the kiss and her once hand that held the sword, fell to the ground. It came to rest upon his chest. Her body pressed against his. Her hand upon his neck played within his hair, at first it was gentle and then a little stronger. Pushing him in and making sure she took advantage of this moment. Her left leg wrapped around his own, feeling the warmth of his body beneath. He was much more than handsome, he was more welcoming than she had realised. Her hand upon his chest, then moved to his cheek. Her once strong deep movements upon his lips, became more quickly and a little deeper. For as the time went on and she knew it would end soon. She wished for it to never end. Did she feel him respond to her? She was sure she almost felt it. His understanding. Even though she was completely out of this world to him, there was a part that understood her or at least wished too. It was possible she smiled during the kiss. Yes, if fireworks existed then, she saw them. As if what had stirred inside her was now burning. Maybe the spell was broken, she was sure it probably had already gone near the beginning, but she was enjoying it too much. That she wished not to stop.
Until finally her breath was getting harder and reality had kicked it. She gave him back his lips. There was no telling whether he'd remember this, but she knew she would. Her hands that had pushed him into her slackened before falling back to her sides. She remained close to him for a while, she didn't want to forget his face and it something was tearing inside her in the thought of her walking away from him. It was probably for the best. She wasn't probably what he had in mind. For women were expected not to be equal of men and Kory was close to that. Probably some girl that did her role, he was expecting. She smiled softly to him as her eyes played upon his. Her eyes were a little softer now. She was hoping this would work. Hoping her words understandable as she picked up her sword and returned it to her back along with its twin.
"Thank-you. I am Kordelia, Once Heir to Valaria. Please call me Kory. "
She spoke as if english hadn't been a trouble. Offered her name as if it was something he was seeking and wished for him to call her Kory. It wasn't as proper and she was fine by that. Then as quick she had pushed the sword at his throat, even quicker as she turned and continued upon her path. She smiled softly as she turned. She wondered how long it would before he followed or asked more. Even though she thought it maybe smarter to leave him behind, she still begged he'd act different. For she wished to know him as much as she knew he wanted to know her. Well, she thought he did. What sort of name would he have? She played over in her head. Something strong, but matching to his handsome appearance. Her hand ran over her mouth, she really wasn't about to forget that and she begged he wouldn't. Her emotions spoke of her falling for him, but she didn't know any finer detail. Save he's a great kisser and mighty warrior perhaps. Although he did show respect and on some level gentleness, not in the weak sense. Perhaps he had a pure heart. There were not many that fought that had a heart and in most cases it was the bases of the fight. It was possible she had felt the thump thump of his heart as her hand had played upon his chest, but it could have been her imagination. She wasn't about to turn back and check. Unless he wished it!

Name: Kalysta AndersNickname: KalyAge: 25Status: Royalty, Queen of ValariaCharacterRelation: Older sister to Kordelia Anders (Kory)Physical Appearance: She has long back hair. Pale skin and blue eyes. Dressed mostly of black. As is her armour and her beast to match. Portrayed by: Rhona MitraPersonality: She is what her appearance is, Cold. Cold as ice. She enjoys the suffering of others. Often by her hand or of her men. She also enjoys toying with her sister. Trying to best at her in many ways. As Kalysta was refused the throne even though she was the oldest. She was cursed when she was conceived and so the throne was set to be her sisters. Her younger and healthier sister. She has blamed everything that has happened on her sister and is her nemesis. She keen with a sword, but only one sword. She was never able to wield two like her sister. In most cases she gets her men to do her work and looks the part. Though she shouldn't be underestimated. She is a cunning woman, in many ways. Family: Father: King of Valaria (Deceased)Mother: Queen of Valaria (deceased)Sister: Kordelia (Kory) Anders, Princess of ValariaHistory: Kalysta was born the eldest child of the Valaria Royal Family. The first princess born in over a hundred years. Kalysta should have been courted and showed with honours. On the day she was born an rebel enemy clan attacked and destroyed the western Valarian City. Killing three thousand citizens in her name. This was in no way Kalysta's fault, for she was only an infant at present, though since the incident she was always linked to the terrible day. To make things worse, Kalysta was cursed which crippled her since she was a child. Considering her grim disposition, a contrast to the royal family's general content outlook. The subjects of Valaria hated Kalysta. As a result, though Kalysta was born as heir, Kalysta was denied her birthright to be princess and eventually queen and ruler of Valaria. This was so to maintain the respect and prestige of the royal family. Kalysta's privileges, honours and her royal style and dignity were transferred to her younger healthier sister, Princess Kordelia (better known as Kory or Starfire). Inwardly, Kalysta's rage grew and her resentment turned to hatred for her kingdom, her people, her family and lastly her sister Kordelia, who in Kalysta's eyes, made the fateful mistake of being born. Kalysta's rivalry continued and intensified when she and Kory were sent for, per Valarian warlike custom, for warrior training with the legendary warlords. Kalysta's true feeling were exposed, when during a sparring exercise she attempted to kill Kory. As a result, Kaly was expelled by the warlords. Humiliated by her own transgression Kalysta swore Vengeance and joined the rebel enemy clan, quickly rising through their ranks to become a warrior fighting against the forces of her own kingdom and ultimately her own family.
Kalysta later betrayed Valaria with detailed information about Valaria's defences to the rebels. They conquered Valaria with ease, and the surrender conditions included the enslavement of Kordelia. Kory was never permitted to return, since it would mean the rebels would devastate Valaria for abrogating the treaty. Kalysta had Kory at her command and made the most of it humiliating Kory in horrific servitude. When Kory killed one of the rebels that had attacked her, Kalysta decided to execute Kory as punishment, but not before the sisters were attacked and captured by a magic clan. Kalysta's men came to aid her, Whilst the magic clan was distracted. Kory broke free. Against her better judgement set Kalysta also free. However, far from grateful Kalysta struck her sister down. Kalysta again captured Kory for later execution. Though again Kory managed to escape until anything could happen. The great kingdom of Valaria was destroyed during the battle. It fell to much to ruins. She allowed who survived to come along with her, though not so much out of the goodness of her heart, but of what usefulness they had and if they agreed to bow to her. Kalysta's location is unknown, but she is claiming herself as the rightful Queen of Valaria.Adoptable?: Yes...

Moments come shift and most memorable, if your lucky. Most are entwined of stories and myths. Something out of legend, brought to life. You know you are blessed to witness such a thing. In these lands very few women were seen present nor remembered. As Kory lay rested against the tree, she envisioned much more of herself. In a moment in which most would be down on their knees in defeat. Her kingdom was gone, her people and family slaughtered. In ways she had no home. No entry into the wide world. Whether it was entry or by force. Kory was going to take it. Grasp it with all the will she had. She wasn't about to be lost to the world or to herself. Of course somewhere deep within emotions flipped over another, she hadn't much of a plan and even more knowledge as where she was headed. There a part of her that was sad. Saddened that she couldn't of broken her restraints and save her kingdom. Something spoke to her, that this was where she was always meant to end up. That after all the lives lost she was set upon a much larger reason to fight. She wasn't going to let what happened, happen again. She banged her head slightly and painlessly against the tree. There was difficulties in that, her gender was probably going to be seen as a weakness. If she had been born a man, things would have been different. Her entry more acceptable, but being a woman would make the defeats more compelling.
She was glad to be a woman. There was no reason to seek to be something you weren't. Despite all the warrior training passing through her muscles. She was a woman. She was in tune with all a woman could behold, probably more. She loved her skin she was in, while she saw many ashamed. Kory was proud of what she was, as was her parents had been once upon a time. Oh, she missed them. She can remember when they had to make the choice. Their daughter or the kingdom. She would shed tears every time, she could not hate them for that. That was the troubles of being royalty, there were tough choices. A soft breeze ran through the forest. It danced upon her cheeks, cooling them quietly as well as her uncovered limbs. Almost numb to the cold. It was a much lesser unimportant pain, she was quite able to bare. As everything was just that bit numb. Sleep? No, she did not feel herself drift off. She wasn't in the mood of sleep. Not when there was possibly miles and miles to walk.
Her eyes remained shut for awhile as she heard the footsteps behind her. They were supposed to be silent, but the slight crunch of leaves sort of gave it away. She could feel the soft breathe behind her. Her heart raced a little faster, but it was mostly calm. She hadn't any clue whether it was one or a band of people. Was it a threat? Or was it kindness? She highly doubted it was much kindness if they are hidden from her. Wasn't very kind to come behind someone, whether to attack or shake hands. Although, she had attacked from behind another. So she couldn't judge. First rule of battling, keep your foes guessing. Mix it up with something they did not expect. Lucky, in her case her gender helped in that way. Men were always playing themselves down before her, as if she was a mouse and they were the cat. She's pretty sure she changed their minds on that one. Think more snake.
Kory's hand tightened around her sword. Her eyes opened as a figure approached her area. So it was a man. A band-less man. She quickly took sight of the glimmer of his swords. Two swords like herself, So possible equal ground. Her mouth lifting at the thought. Her other hand moved back to her second sword as the man moved towards her. She could not recognise him, though she couldn't be sure if he could have been one of her sister's men that had escaped. What if Kalysta had escaped. Her eyes played upon the ground at the thought then to his face to his eyes. Her eyes frowned a little, she wasn't going to let her take her again. Though as quickly it had come, her frown quickly died. His eyes looked upon her as if this was for the first time. So he was hardly from her kingdom as she was once, one of many. Kory could sense perhaps, he was sizing her up. She was curious of what he thought. Was he the first to be right?
His voice came swiftly through the wind, much like a ghost, but much warmer. Her head corked to the side slightly as all meaning was lost to her. She could feel the welcoming in his voice and she could still feel the tone. He was handsome, she had to give him that and clearly a voice to match. Perhaps she had hit her head a little to hard. How many women woke up like this. She smiled softly at the thought, though he still had weapons and was cloaked. As if hiding something. Whether some crazy defect or he was suited for battle, she could not tell. Yes, she was sure he cloaked for warmth as well, but he was still hiding something. A quite opposite she imagined in his mind as he looked upon her. A handsome mystery man and a rather mythical slightly unclothed woman. She could imagine a little what ran through his mind, but she was no mind reader. She knew not all men were the same. She wasn't about to judge, he put himself across as gentle and kind. How much of that was true? She could not say. She barely understood his words, so anything more was pretty foreign to her.
She grasped her swords even tighter and came to her feet. Fully showing herself to the stranger. She could also tell he was of great height, but he might see she was close to match. Which made kissing a lot easier. Not that she was overly thinking about that or just a little. A touch. That was what was need to break it. Though she had touched the men she had taken out that had tried to grab her, so a deeper touch. She did recall they said deeper. It was just that not knowing that kept her standing in her spot. She couldn't understand the stranger and he was cloaked with weapons. Even though his voice was of warmth and inviting. She couldn't completely let her guard down. She was always one to make friends first, which cost her sometimes, but when language was almost an impossibility it changed things. "Îmi pare rău că nu înţeleg. Dacă doriţi să-mi rău, vă va plăti pentru asta foarte mult"
As she spoke, it didn't make a lot of sense to herself either. What she was trying to say was. 'I'm sorry I don't understand. If you wish to harm me, you shall pay for it greatly.' So Kory doubted it made even a dint to his ears. Confusing him even more than it did her. Though her tones played upon her words much if she was speaking english, so perhaps he would pick up on that. She prepared her sword incase it was needed. Twirling her left and then her right to warm her hands. Feeling the weight of them and the weight of her stance. She lowered her swords. It wasn't much in planning as in just sheer in the moment, she moved towards him. Her eyes played upon his eyes. She stopped just a couple feet before him, she could now feel the full presence of him standing before her. Becoming more real than myth. Her head corked again slightly as if she almost caught a smile, a hint of expression from him. Her eyes ran towards his lips, his skin, his cheeks, his hair, his lips again and then back to his eyes. She swallowed as took this sight in. Though then as swift as the wind, she motioned her right sword to his throat and her left sword was stood in defence. She just held the sword there. As if trying to put across that she didn't wish to harm him, but if he wished it. Take his shot now. She was not in the mood to play around, not with his beautiful face. Her eyes almost glowed even more green as she focused on him. Her body was a bit warn down, as it showed clear of bruises and blood. She did not wish for some great, one on one battle and no one to record his fall, but she was ready. As every muscle in her arm stretched out before him, showed.

If only new beginnings were easy. If only they had a straight path. Not just starts and ends. Who was to know which path was correct? Who was to know if you could ever turn back? Stuck on a road you might not wish to take. Either way and whatever the reasonings for it. Kordelia ( or Kory as she better known) took the path she was given. There wasn't a whole lot of choice on her part whether she had to take it. If she hadn't she would be back in her kingdom, DEAD! Dead just like her family and her people. She wasn't about to make herself completely fall. There was purpose to this life, no matter how ever endless it was or how tortuous. Kory was going out fighting. Not just for herself, but for who ever needed it. Kory knew quite well of the voiceless or the so called weak. There was a purpose for all, she had to believe that and maybe where ever this path led she was on, would show her just what that was.
It was a keen thing to feel the crunch of twigs and leaves beneath her feet. Kory was beginning to think she had forgotten, but everything was quickly coming back. For the most part. No, longer slaved to her sister's demands. No, longer chained to be something she wasn't. Freedom. Was at her feet. There was little of this for her gender and when a woman had it, she had to take it. Cherish it. For any second it could be her last. Her body was bruised and just a little bloodied. It was nothing. Nothing. She was free. Her heart was a little shattered to lose so much of her kingdom. Which she knew now laid underneath ash. Her heart, it still was beating, that was enough. For now. She was strong enough not to just break down. She hadn't broken down for her sister's amusement and Kory wasn't about to it now.
Her face tilted to the sky covered by greens and browns. The very glimpse of the blue within. Her nose smelling every inch of her new freedom. Breathing in deep as if she hadn't felt fresh air in a while, true fresh air. Her eyes shut for a few seconds, before revealing her green lasers once again. Strong enough to pierce most men and some women. Her hand reach behind her. Letting out her hair that had been roughed up from being held back. It now weaved around her face. Her neck. Caressed her back passed midway. It flowed of fire. Enough for anyone to feel its spark. It stood in zinc with her skin of a golden glow. She was every the word, striking. She wasn't about to shake up the world without looking the part. Her mouth parted. Trying to speak to the wind. As if it had quite delicate ears, but even Kory couldn't quite understand them. Her head fell back in front. Stopped in her tracks. It wasn't a great feeling to misunderstand another let alone yourself. Anything she spoke came out in mixed gibberish. She knew at the core of what she wanted to say, it just didn't come out that way.
It was going to be sometime, Kory was sure. Until someone crossed her path. When she could try and break the spell. Even then harder to try and convince them when anything she said could just come out as insults or mixed words. Perhaps force was her only choice. She cringed at the idea. Although, if she was lucky it wouldn't be much forcing as just granting a wish. She breathed out heavily. She had to deal with it for now. It wasn't such of a bad thing than an annoyance, she could cope with it for now. Whose to say men understood women anyways, could be there greatest dream. Not all the men Kory knew. She knew full well there were still plenty of gentlemen in the world, just been awhile since she met one or a man not overwhelmed by his own power. If only they realised without the people around them there would be no power. What was the point of ruling an empty kingdom? What was the point of demands, with no one to take them? Who in their right minds, wish to only be alone? Loneliness! Probably the one thing Kory did fear. She hoped before her time was up, she wouldn't be left to die alone. No one to remember her, no one to realise her life was lived for a reason.
There was some extra crunch behind her. Perhaps someone had escaped with her. Someone was following her? Her eyes shifted slightly behind her. Ears and eyes keen. She moved swiftly behind a tree and reached for her swords upon her back. Feeling the weighted within her strong grasp. Twirled her right sword to warm her movements up. The crunching came closer. Closer. A foot away and Kory attack from the tree. Only to find it was just a harmless deer. Lowing her readied swords. She laughed at herself. Perhaps she was a little out of it, than she had realised. She rarely got too tired, but these had been come crazy long days. Her body took only what it could, which was more than most could take. Before she realised the deer could make for a good meal, the deer had fled. Probably seeing the spark of silver and wasn't about to stay to see more. It was fine. Thinking it over, she wasn't all that hungry. She had done enough that the thought of food was the least thing on her mind at this moment.
Sinking towards the ground using the swords to settle herself down by having them pierced in the ground. Dropping the left sword out of her hand made as short soundless trip to the ground, where it now laid. She kept her right hand upon the second sword, almost resting some of her weight on it, even though most of her weight was pressed upon the tree behind her. Her head followed to rest upon the tree, tilted slightly so her eyes looked up. She closed them shortly. Resting. There wasn't a lot of time for it, but she could spare a few minutes. Maybe days until she reached anywhere or anyone. Her right leg was underneath her left which was raised, giving a slight ungraceful look up her leather skirt. Chances are no one would get close enough to look before they had their nose pushed up into their skull, well depending on the person of course. She had leather boots that reached just under her knees. She had a cut of leather top with embroidered purple also in her skirt. Leather gloves also embroidered. Arm bands upon each arm, made of leather with some metal design, perhaps some ancient celtic symbol. Which was also displayed upon the leather collar around her neck. She was probably in need of chain mail or some armour where ever it was she planned to end up at. It was maybe best just to see where this path would lead her too. She was able to not get lost, but she wasn't sure who would have her. Her kingdom had been more accepting of women, strong women. She wasn't about to stop that, but it could make somethings more difficult. Where could Kory call home? Who would need a warrior? A saviour?

.:Name of Character:. KORDELIA ANDERS .:Nick Name:. Kory, Starfire .:Age:. 22 .:Race:. Valarian .:Status:. Nomad
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Kory stand roughly about 6' which makes her strangely tall, but it isn't uncommon of her race. Her hair is bright red and falls past her waist. It is quite thick and full bodied. Her eyes are a bright green and has tanned skin, a slight gold glow. These which gives her an almost alien appearance, strange, but very beautiful. Just depends on point of view. She weighs roughly 158 lbs (72 kg). Her body is well trimmed from her many years of training and she has good filled out body of muscles, some curves. Hardly any fat. Most of the time she can be seen in her armour. Which covers the more important parts. As purple is her favourite colour she is seen most often in it if not in her black leather outfit. As for weapons she carries two swords as to double the odds. .:Height:. 6' .:Portrayed by:. Jennifer Garner
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Her race has always been very in touch with their emotions. For Kory this is the same and she is very open to all her emotions. So when she is feeling something it can be a little heavier than others. One might want to stand clear if she is angry. Though she usually shows that to her enemies and shows great kindness to those most closest to her. She has a very high loyalty bases and it takes a lot to destroy that. She is also particularly kind to strangers and always seeking to make friends first. Though beware as she is very protective to her friends and even the innocent strangers. This loyalty and protection can make Kory forget herself. Her thoughts are usually for anyone, but herself. She lives to fight and save the world, if she could. That she can get depressed from losing herself or those closest to her moving on with their lives. She likes things to remain comfortable and never change if she could help it. Kory from young was sent to train with a well skilled warrior tribe and it is here that she learned all the ways of fighting. Battling. Where it became a part of her. She had always dreamed it be for her kingdom, but she will soon see there are many more out there seeking a hero. A Warrior! A saviour!
.:Strengths:. - Combat/Brave/Fearless - Strength - Quick movements - Horse riding - Loyalty - Kindness - Emotions - Fighting against magic - Confident
.:Weaknesses:. - Anger - Loneliness/one thing she does fear - Emotions - Change - Singing (No way, but she likes to try) - Dancing (average)
.:Magic Abilities:. None. .:Special Skills:. -Skilled with working two swords. She rarely finds she needs s shield, but can use it. - Strength. She is stronger than she looks. Most learn the hard way.
She has trained for many years and this has what has given her strength and skill. She isn't without some flaws and she isn't that godly like person blessed with super strength. She is human at the end. Not all battles are fought or won with skill of a sword. Some are of luck and some of knowledge. Some maybe of magic. So yes Kory can be beat, but it will be a great sight despite who falls first. .:Accents:. Strong rich welsh accent.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:. Valaria .:Family:. Father:King of Valaria (Deceased) Mother: Queen of Valaria (Deceased) Sister: Kalysta Anders, Queen of Valaria (Nemesis) .:Occupation:. Now striped of her title, she has none. .:Current Location of Residence:. None. Will be Camelot .:History:. Kordelia Anders was born 22 years ago and in line to rule as Queen of Valaria. Her older sister by 3 years, Kalysta suffered from a disease when she was just a infant that robbed of her position as heir and thus began the rivalry between the two. Kory from around the age of 16 was sent to a warrior tribe to learn more advanced skills, so when she was queen one day she could lead her people knowing these skills. The rivalry continued and intensified when the siblings were sent for warrior training. Things came to a head during a sparring exercise in which Kalysta attempted to kill Kory. As a result, Kalysta was expelled and she swore vengeance. That revenge came in a plot where Kalysta betrayed Valaria by supplying detailed information about Valaria's defenses to their enemy. They took hold of Valaria with ease and the surrender conditions involved the enslavement of Kory and would not be allowed to ever return. If she did the enemy would destroy Valaria for breaking the treaty.
It was shocking to find out that Kory's master was Kalysta, her sister and now crowned Queen of Valaria. Whom had placed her in such torment. Kory was forced to serve in many ways. Forced to live a life quite different to many princesses. During one of the attacks by one of Kalysta's men, Kory managed to slay him. Her sister thought her punishment would be death and would had. Then a magical race broke in and attacked. Capturing both Kory and Kalysta. They both attacked by ranges and forms of spells put on them, taking as much as there bodies could. During one of the attacks, Kalysta's men came to rescue her. While the two races attacked each other, Kory broke from her restraints with amazing strength and rescued to her sister. Who in return struck Kory down as soon as she was free. Kory somehow managed to escape the stronghold of the battle soon after setting her sister free. The battle grew and grew into civil war. The castle was already lit and her parents already killed. She ran for it. Collecting what weapons she could and little armour, took flight on foot. As Valaria crumbled behind her. Kory didn't know at the time, but her sister escaped along with a small group of their people.
Kory was left under the last spell cast upon her which has erased her speech and understanding of english. In order for her to obtain it again, she has to find another to touch that also speaks it.
