.:Name of Character:. Ambersariya Menthro. .:Nick Name:. Amber, Berry, Riya. .:Age:. Twenty-two. .:Status:. Royalty; princess.

.:Physical Appearance:.
Ambersariya is slightly on the short side, but not dramatically so. However, for all her lack in exceeding inches, she's incredibly well-proportioned; graceful, even. Her legs and torso are both decently long, and she's quite thin, which adds to it. Her shoulders are narrow, but there is a bit of a curve to her hips that prevents her from looking overly frail. Her hair is somewhere between light red and strawberry blonde, and it easily reaches mid-back when wet or brushed completely straight. However, it's normally somewhat curly and/or wavy, so it tends to reach mid-chest instead. Her eyes are large and narrow, with definitive edges and a deep green color, and while she does have a few freckles thanks to the red in her hair, her skin is generally quite pale with perhaps a touch of pink to her cheeks. Her mouth is wide, with her upper lip having very distinct arches that keep it from seeming ugly, and bright pink in color. Long limbs pull the entire look together, and when glancing at her from afar, she seems quite a bit taller than she is.
.:Height:. 5' 4" .:Portrayed by:. Sienna Guillory.

.:Personality:.
The most notable trait in Amber is that she is paranoid twenty-four seven. Since she woke up in Camelot City nearly a year ago with almost no memory, save her name, family, a vague memory of being stolen away, and that she is a princess of Kathra (though she doesn't have any idea where this is, and no one has heard of it), she's been utterly terrified. Every time she meets a person who seems a little too friendly, she instantly wonders if they know her - and if they do, what they're planning. Because of this, it's nearly impossible for her to trust anyone, though the owners of the inn she is staying in have become something of parents to her during her time there. In fact, she often wonders if her personality is her real personality at all, because she can't remember what she used to be like.
When she wants to be, Ambersariya can be perfectly polite and sociable. She was raised in court and knows very well what to say and how to say it, and as long as she's convinced that (for the moment) you aren't going to attempt to murder her, she can actually be quite nice to talk to. She loves watching people, watching their expressions change and the decisions they make, and because of that can be very intuitive. Additionally, there's another side of her; the fierce side that is very clearly the result of someone who was raised as a warrior. Amber can be extremely harsh when she wants to be, even fiery. However, above all of that is the fact that she, amusedly enough, hates to fight. She's trained to use all sorts of weapons, knows the feel of them better than the feel of her own hair, but she avoids conflict when she can.
.:Strengths:. Trained to fight, level-minded, great self-control, good reflexes, sociable. .:Weaknesses:. Hates fighting, paranoid, loss of memory, stubborn, hates assistance. .:Magic Abilities:. None whatsoever. .:Special Skills:. A great fighter. .:Accents:. Over-stresses her vowels, but not really an accent.

.:Birthplace:. Kathra. .:Family:. Two older brothers, Renrick (32) and Elrion (29), one older sister, Liana (24), a twin brother, Kaden (22), and a younger brother, Aidewen (17). Mother and father are Queen Elise (50) and King Quinn (61) of Kathra. .:Occupation:. Technically a warrior and princess of Kathra; at the moment, a performer (dancer). .:Current Location of Residence:. An inn in Camelot. .:History:.
Ambersariya and her older-by-seven-minutes twin brother, Kaden, were born the fourth and fifth children of the king and queen of Kathra, a very small warrior region overseas. The twins were, even from the start, inseparable, though they were complete opposites and had entirely different duties. However, they were raised and trained together and constantly took the blame for each other's trouble, even after spending a day fighting with one another. When their younger brother was born five years later, it completed the brood, and so existed the large royal family.
Amber and Kaden were only fourteen, the first time they went out to battle alongside their three older siblings, but by then they could already be considered masters. Because Kathra was so small, almost everyone, females included, was trained and trained well, and for that reason alone, they not only survived but thrived. Even though Renrick and Elrion were already married by then, Quinn and Elise still held the thrown, keeping the politics to a minimum and a general period of peace among them all. Kathra had many allies and many enemies, but it seemed to balance out, and put simply, Ambersariya loved her life. She loved being treated to the luxuries of royal life and then going outside until she was sweating and panting after training; loved how some people adored her while others hated her and received the unorthodox but family-approved blunt side of her tongue.
However, their enemies eventually became a bit smarter. As it turned out, one of the male servants was secretly working for an outside organization. He'd been there since he was sixteen years of age, and acted when he was twenty-three. When Amber went outside for a ride one evening, he followed her. The hilt of a sword rammed into the back of her head was all it took to send her down, and she hadn't seen it coming, having developed a bit of a friendship with him. She had been the target all along, of course, in their plan to disturb the royal family and thus the well-being of all of Kathra. Without a word or a hint, she was shuffled away, kept unconscious and loaded on a boat with him and his partners. What they hadn't expected was for her to wake up and be armed; a warrior princess knew better than to take a step outside her own bedroom without knives attached to her thighs, waist, and shoulder band.
But, when it came down to it, she was a twenty-one year old female and they were seven older, bigger, stronger males. She killed two and injured two, never noticing the poison she'd been injected with until she began feeling the effects of it. She went down hard for the second time, this time hopefully dead, and the five remaining men boarded another boat along with the two bodies, leaving her servant to dispose of the body. Knowing that it would float and not having anything to weigh it down with, he continued his journey, until he finally noticed that she was not dead but asleep. She'd been treated to small doses of poison all her life to build up a defense against them, so while this one had knocked her out good, it hadn't killed her. He spent a good day and a half convincing himself to kill her, but found he could not - allowing her to be killed and killing her himself were two very different concepts, especially after he'd spent so long growing up with her.
When he made shore, he took her body with him and headed straight for Camelot City, a long journey even on a horse that had her nearly waking by the end of it. In his panic, he cracked her head against a stone, and when he finally got there, he left her on the doorstep of a healer and took away into the night. When she woke up for good nearly two days later, Ambersariya knew almost nothing about herself except her name, most of her family's names (Renrick was remembered as Rodrick, Liana was remembered as Liara, and Kaden was remembered as Caden), and the fact that she was a member of the royal family of Kathra. However, after asking around, no one had heard of the place; it seemed Camelot and Kathra hadn't come in contact before, and it was too far away for anyone to know of it, though thankfully they spoke the same language.
She became a professional dancer, that having been one of her hobbies in the palace, and moved into an inn permanently. It was weeks later that she had her first and, since then, only memory (or memories, if you will). She recalled speaking with a servant whose name she could not recall, and turning to grab a saddlepad from the wall, then a sharp pain to her head and nothingness; and, in the same instant, waking up on a boat, surrounded by men who had so obviously taken her, and fighting them as well. The recollection left her so shaken that she became quite ill, and the owner of the inn's wife took to caring for her, developing an almost motherly bond between the two that still exists nearly a year later. Amber now spends much of her free time attempting to remember something, anything that will help her get back, but in all honesty, she is equally as afraid to as she is eager to.
She remains a dancer and still lives in the inn, though she now stays there for free, and though she has her dresses and costumes professionally made, she herself makes outfits befitting a female warrior; knowledge that her hands never forgot. Often, Amber steals away into the woods to practice, unwilling to let go of her skill in weaponry (though she can't remember why she knows it). She is wary around people but does not hesitate to introduce herself as Lady Ambersariya, princess of Kathra; always hoping that someone will recognize her or at least the name of the place. Those that do not (which accounts for everyone) are too embarrassed to admit the fact or question it, so it is no secret among those in Camelot City who know her that she is, in fact, royalty.
