There was hardly anyone in the kitchens apart from a cook as a young blonde haired girl slowly opened the door cautiously. She was still learning her way around the castle of Camelot and she didn’t think she would learn it any time soon. She wondered how people even managed to live at a palace. I prefer the manor, she thought and sighed softly to herself. Aliyaha Bennett was still getting use to the fact that her parents weren’t living anymore and that she wasn’t with the master and the mistress that she had practically grown up with them. They had treated her well despite the fact that she was born a servant. And she would probably be a servant for the rest of her life until she did something that was worthy of leveling up a rank. So the old fantasy stories goes anyways. Like any other child the young girl loved being read fantasy stories to. She thought of them as an escape from the world that she was living in. The world that she was now starting to get used to.
Most of her life Aliyaha had heard the fact that servants were supposed to be seen and not heard. It was hard for her to adjust to that fact as she was the little girl that was always being friendly and talkative. Not for your typical servant if one was to stop and think about it. A small sigh escaped from her lips as she smoothed out her dress. The dress color today was a plain light brown. She had her blonde hair up in a ponytail to keep it from falling everywhere as she works. It was always a hassle for the young girl whenever she had the chance to stop whatever she was doing and always tying it back up. Aliyaha shook her head to clear her thoughts and scanned the kitchens, wondering what she was going to have in the meantime. Aliyaha wasn’t really hungry as the morning meal was two hours ago. She was just wondering in and looking around for a snack. Her mind went to her parents and she sighed softly, a wistful look in her eyes.
She had lost her father when he had died in battle. Her mother had died a few months after he did. It was depression, she was often told. That had caused her to wilt away into death. She sniffed a little. Thinking about her parents was always a tender subject for the young girl. She didn’t even think about losing them a couple of months apart. Aliyaha shook her head, closing her eyes. She didn’t want to think about it. Not now. Not the fact that she was still getting over the deaths of her parents and the sudden change in her personality. Before their deaths she was always a happy go lucky little girl. She was always smiling and laughing. Now Aliyaha was quiet and didn’t speak unless she was spoken to. She was mainly hidden in the shadows, staring in envy at the other children in the court with their parents. Stop that, a small voice scolded her in the back of her mind. You can’t change the fact that they’re dead. Aliyaha sighed as she shook her head at the foolishness. She continued on with glancing around at the kitchen, not noticing the fact that the door was slowly opening. Tag: Brynn Words: 570 Set During: Season One Episode Five[/i][/color]

Aliyaha turned her head to stare at the two men with wide terrified eyes. This was what she feared would happen. She had thought of going to either the king or the prince and ask for their permission to carry a knife. She had stamped that thought hard. Aliyaha took a deep breath and bit down on her lip. It was something that she always did whenever she was scared or terrified. And at this very moment this fifteen year old was beyond terrified. She was shaking as she turned her head around, her blue eyes searching for an opening or somewhere so she would escape. She flinched when one of them had asked what she was doing here alone in the alley way and Aliyaha wasn’t the one to tell them to back off. Although she was very tempted to. “That….would be none of your business,” she managed to stammer, trying to sound tougher than she really was.
She turned her head around again and was suddenly helpless. The two men had positioned themselves so that she couldn’t escape. Her eyes then grew wide with terror when she heard a voice speak. Aliyaha snapped her head up, staring at the spot where the voice had come from. Somehow she felt braver, it was as if the young boy was there at the right time. Or had he been following her as well. The young servant girl shook her head to clear her thoughts as she reached out and tried to shove the man that was standing in front of her. Her mind flashed back to the many lessons, and the many talks, that her mother had with her. Isabel had reminded the young girl constantly that people would often try to take an advantage of her because of her status. In a flash, wondering if it was indeed the brightest thing that she had done so far today, Aliyaha leaned forward and bit down on the front man’s arm.
Not for the first time since today did she wished that she knew how to fight. Even in this situation she seemed to appear weak. It was something that she hated. “I haven’t done anything to you. I don’t even know you two. Let me pass…” the little authority she thought her voice had trailed off. She glanced at the boy. Never mind the fact that she had thought he was young. He seemed older than she did. Probably a couple of years older at first glance. Aliyaha shook her head as she turned her attention to the two men. She had to keep them in her vision and turn her attention on them. Who knows what they would do to her if she showed that she was distracted. The young girl sighed softly as she shook her head, glancing up at the two men fearfully. She had heard tales of people, children especially, getting kidnapped and usually held for ransom depending on their status. It would be nice being a noble, she thought wistfully. Her eyes glimmered as a thoughtful look crossed her face. It was a bad thing to do and she forced herself to pay attention to the two men and the boy, wondering which one would be the first to do something.

The streets of the city were always bustling with all sorts of human life. This is what a young, fifteen year old blonde haired girl was used to. Her bright blue eyes were sparkling as she glanced around at everything and everyone. She most avoided the people that were looking at her oddly even though she didn’t know why. A small sigh escaped from her lips as she ran a hand through her hair. Aliyaha Bennett was an average typical servant human. She herself had possess no mere magic, not that she wanted to anyways with Uther going around and killing people. The young girl flinched slightly as she had accidently witnessed one of the executions on her way to the Camelot Palace. She was fearful of the king and that was by his actions alone. She had never talked to him personality anyways and she wasn’t usually the one to judge. She sighed softly as she glanced around again. Already not early in the morning and Aliyaha had already forgotten where she had come to the city in the first place.
Oh well, she thought to herself. It always gives me more time to wonder around. Aliyaha was the type of person that always enjoyed the bustle of life in the city. A small smile started to spread across her lips as she started to walk, always mindful of the others around her. She linked her arms behind her back and listened to the people bargaining for the things that they need for the day or for the week. A little further on Aliyaha saw a nobleman and a noblewoman. They were obviously together as a small dark haired child raised its head to smile at its parents. A small knot twisted up in her stomach as the servant girl was reminded of her parents, who had died a couple of weeks before her arrival here in Camelot. “Mother…Father,” she whispered to herself softly. She had never wanted anything badly in her life up until this moment. She was filled with jealousy, an emotion that she was familiar with after having watching the lives of the city people.
She turned on her heels and ran off as quietly as she could. Aliyaha didn’t want them to noticed that she was watching them. The deaths of her parents was still a raw and touchy subject for her. Richard had ridden into battle and was killed. Her mother, Isabel, had died of depression soon afterwards. And if that wasn’t much for a fifteen year old girl from the common class to go through she had been gently told that she could no longer work or live for the master and mistress that her parents worked for. Aliyaha turned and made a small dash into the alleyway to wipe away any tears that had threatened to fall. She took a deep breath and glanced around cautiously at the shadows, feeling her cheeks turning slightly crimson. She didn’t want anyone to see her like this. She smoothed out her pale light brown dress and frowned slightly, her ears perking up after hearing a couple of sounds. Her blue eyes grew wide with fright. What was she supposed to do if she was suddenly attacked? Aliyaha couldn’t fight back nor did she have any weapons. It was forbidden for a servant to be carrying a weapon. All the fifteen year old girl could do was to turn her head in the direction the sounds seemed to be coming from. [/blockquote] Word Count; 585 Tags; Arthur!Notes; Set during episode five season one

Aliyaha can be best describe as a plain young girl, standing at five feet and four inches, weighing around one hundred and twenty pounds. A white round shaped face is framed by straight blonde hair. Her hair turns light blonde in the summer and dark blonde in the winter. It falls past her shoulders and sits just a few inches below her waist. Her eyes are a bright, sapphire blue set under fine eyelashes and black eyebrows. Her cheeks are still girlishly plump although they are slowly loosing that look. Her body is slim and slender. Her style of dresses are plain. She dreams of wearing the dresses that girls of higher status wears but she knows she probably won’t achieve that in her lifetime. She prefers to wear colors that compliment or bring out her eyes. All in all Aliyaha dresses in the sensible fashion of a young servant her own age.

.:Personality:.
Quite. Shy. Timid. Three words that are the start to describe Aliyaha. She is the typical servant in the act that she is always quite. She is never the one to start off a conversation and is often awkward when it comes to certain situations even though she is trying to get over that. She may appear cool and aloof, even distant at first. One would try to earn her trust as it is very fragile. She isn’t the type of person that would trust a person at first glance. Aliyaha is the person that can keep a cool head in stressful situations. She remains calm and cool. She doesn’t let people show that she is weak. Despite her being timid, Aliyaha is strong willed. She follows orders without a moment’s thoughts, although that may be a weak point as she doesn’t know whether a person is sending her into danger or not. Aliyaha is obedient as one would gain from this information. Despite all of this this young servant girl has a hidden temper. It takes a lot for this one to lose control but when she does it is often violent.

.:Birthplace:.
In the outskirts of Camelot
.:Family:.
Isabel Bennett-mother, dead Richard Bennett-father, died from battle
.:Occupation:. Servant .:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot .:History:.
Isabel was a maid working in a noble manor in the outskirts of Camelot and Richard was a guard. The meeting between her parents was an awkward one at first since Isabel had always greatly admired him. Ever since she had sneaked away to see him practice when she should have been working, but no one else knew that as the work always gets done before anyone would have found out. Richard always had the feeling that he had loved her but he was a coward when it came to the subject of love. He also feared being rejected but as it turned out there was little to be afraid of when he asked for her hand in marriage. They married late in the summer and they still continued to work with the same nobles.
Aliyaha was born in the middle of March. The 11th to be exact and Isabel and Richard were more than happy. They were thrilled at the fact that they had finally had a child. Richard was even more happy that Isabel had survived childbirth, as most mothers didn’t make it in these times. Aliyaha grew up in the manor like the normal child that she was. She learned how to read and write from her father, who had already knew these things. She followed her mother around and was soon starting to do the things that her mother did. She washed the clothes in a river as well as made the beds. Aliyaha didn’t learn how to cook until her mother deemed that she was ready. She also learned how to sew and mend clothes that were tearing.
The young girl was happy and safe in the manor. She had two loving parents that cared for her and the master and mistress of the house did the best that they can to protect the little girl. Her father was one of their best guardsmen and they honored and respected him as well as their decision. Aliyaha’s happy life drew to a close when Richard rode into battle and was killed. Isabel was distraught over her husband’s death that she grew depressed and later died a month after Richard’s death. Aliyaha was only twelve when she lost both her parents. Their deaths had transformed her. She was no longer the little girl anyone knew. She withdrew into herself and became quite and timid. Two years had passed since then and the master and mistress of the manor were both getting old. They couldn’t afford paying the extra pay for their servants and they had to make the cut. Aliyaha was one of the many servants that had lost a job, not to mention the loss of a home. She had wondered into Camelot and now finds herself working as a servant.
