.:History:.
Sebastian grew up in a world filled with falsities. Whilst his parents were just and good rulers, their home life was anything but. They often fought, and Sebastian's father was well known for having a temper, often causing him to lose allies because of it. Sebastian was often regarded as being useless by his father and mother, despite him being their only son and heir, and all they could think of was to marry him off as soon as possible.
However, when Sebastian dared to utter his own thoughts on the matter, his father, in a fit of rage, pushed the boy down a three flight stair case within the castle. The boy was unconscious for three days, and when he woke, refused to speak again, certain that the next time he did, it would bring death or worse. His parents assumed that the fall had muted him for life, and though this was not the case, he never contested it. They ignored the Prince from thenon, using him only as a cheuffer of type.
Sebastians' father died when he was seventeen, after being killed in single combat to a Lord of a nearing town. The King had promised the Lord lands and gold, but had failed to live up to his promise, causing the Lord to challange him. Not to be outwitted, the King accepted, but was killed within minutes of combat starting, thanks to his lousy swordsmanship.
Sebastian was then tutored by his mother's cousin on the ways of the world, as they knew that at some point he would have to take up the throne, for the laws stated that a woman could not rule, and thus Cassandra would never be able to take over. At some point, thanks to the death of his father, Sebastian began to speak again, though the fact of his voice returning was never mentioned to his mother. Though Sebastian was a slow learner, he was quick to understand the ways in which to debate with people, and confuse and trick them into agreements. His deplomacy became prized by his relations, and he was sent to many places to try and convince them into warfair, as his mother was hungry for satisfaction. Unfortunately for her, Sebastian disapproved, and was a great believer in peace and balance. He would often find ways of appeasing their enemies, and finding a treaty with them.
When he turned twenty three, his family decided to send him to Camelot, to try and make war and hopefully claim the great Country. LIttle did they know, that his intentions were quite the opposite...
