Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.
Vaughn had never been in Camelot before. He did not think it was an incredible experience to be in this land, as he had come across those who believed that Camelot was an amazing kingdom that would be an honor to serve. No. Vaughn though, just like every other place, that it was despicable. His cynical point of views forced him to never find anything good about anyone or anything, and this was no exception. He dismounted from his horse, leading it along with him, as the streets were so crowded, there was barley any room to walk.
The streets were cramped with eager people, running around to do their duties. They kept bumping into him, some muttering apologies, others just moving along their business. Vaughn was so distracted by cursing each person that brushed against him, that he did not notice a basket on the side of the street. He nearly tripped over it, but caught his balance, only making him slightly stumble. Still, it was enough to make him angry at the inanimate object. Or rather, the person who placed it there. He looked down at it. It was filled with a large pile of neatly folded clothing. That is what made Vaughn's next actions so much fun.
He kicked it. No. He not only kick it; he kicked it hard. It was hard enough for the basket to move far enough from his stationary position and for all the clothes to fly in different directions, scattering on different spots on the street. He hoped they got trampled on. But what he hoped even more, was that the person who's basket he had kicked, was watching him and would confront him.

Elora smiled softly at the young woman who was working at a farmers both. The woman was about to get married, and Elora had been haired to make a pretty but inexpensive dress for her. The woman held the dress, and smiled and and raved about how she loved it. Elora felt as if she had been apart of this in more then a simple dress. On the wedding day she would she the women in the dress with a smile so bright that it would make Elora feel partly responsible for it. That was a good feeling. Helping others and taking joy in there joy. Elora silently was jealous. She longed for a tall, dark, and mysterious man of her own. Someone very unlike the horrid prince.
It was in that same moment, that she heard the events behind her, and before she could turn to apologize to whoever tripped over her basket, they had kicked it. Distorting her hard work, in making the new clothing appear clean and beautiful. Elora looked over at the man, with her eyes glazing over as if she might cry. How horrid!
She changed her mind right then and there! Bring on the prince, rather then Mr. Tall, Dark and MEAN! He even seemed PLEASE! Elora felt a hand on her arm looked over at the woman, needing the comfort to help her not cry---To woman handed her a tomato, and glared at the man.
Elora looked down at the veggatable, and knew she could never do it. Throw it at someone? Ruin their day like they did her's. No. It was to cold, and mean. She was better then him. She looked up about to call out to him and tell him he how rude he was being when she noticed . . . his horse was on the veil to the wedding dress! It had taken her MANY many MANY hours to make the full length lace veil, and she had only done so because the bird was leaving the city and Elora wanted to do one last nice thing for her and this . . . . .this . . . . beast of a horrid man RUINED it! Elora did not know what her aim was like, because she had never in her life throw anything at anyone, but she knew she was aiming at the back of his head!

Vaughn was ready to move on from this street, proud of his victory, though he was not exactly smiling. The next event that unfolded was nothing that Vaughn could even come close to predicted. He was often used to bullying another, seldom finding it a challenge and when it proved to be one..... he just found great amusement in it. However, there was absolutely nothing amusing about a vegetable being thrown at his head. He was not in the stocks. He felt something hard, and mushy at the same time, hit the back of his head. He quickly turned around, looking down at the ground to see a squashed tomato by his feet. His face expressionless and with out asking in words, his eyes spoke for him, demanding who dared throw a tomato at his head. If the seeds were intertwined in his locks somehow, well, then the tomato attacker was truly going to pay.
Vaughn's eyes surveyed the massive crowd, but it did not take long for them to rest upon a young woman, who was standing there, staring at him with an expression that could only be described as surprise. Vaughn was going to take advantage of any fear she may be experiencing, ever so slight. He slowly walked up to her, a false smile on his lips as he forced his expression to drastically soften. "Dear lady, were you the one who happened to throw that tomato at me?" He asked, his voice was deep, and it held a tone of politeness and respect..... though both of these were false.
[[Sorry its a little short. I was just building it up a bit, because I have what he is going to do in his next post planned]]

Oh, well he seemed polite even if his actions were not. Maybe she had miss read what had happened! Oh dear! What if it had been a mistake and she had hit some poor traveler with a veggie? Elora felt her self grow guilty and she blushed. He did not seem like a bully when he look and spoke to her. In part, he seemed rather dashing now.
And she must look the part of the bully . . . . . . oh dear . . . . . .
"I--" She started, "You must forgive me. I do not normally do thing as such, but when my clothing went everywhere it made you appear very much like a mean bully and I felt anger. You can ask anyone, this is the first time I have ever acted out, sir." She tucked some hair behind her ear and smiled softly up at him. "I had worked so many hours on the clothing which is now ruined, I just---but now, my actions were wrong. Forgive me. I should have not done so."

Vaughn had to admit that the fact she spent so long on the clothes, made his action all the more amusing, as now they were dirty, and he hoped they were ruined. Not only that, but she had apologize for what she did. Vaughn on the other hand, was not so likely to forgive. He moved a little closer to her, but not enough to make her feel uncomfortable; not yet. However his next actions were to raise the discomfort level, and perhaps force the woman into a state of trepidation. Everyone reacted differently when in the presence of immediate danger, and he was just about to find out how she would react.
In one swift motion, he pulled out one of his swords and positioned it sideways so that the edge of the blade right near her neck, so that the cool metal was touching her soft skin, though it was not enough to cut it. His smile faded from a friendly one, to a more sinister one, though an expression of amusement was still there. "You should think twice about what you do. I would hate to scar such a beautiful face." Because he was right in front of her, and the streets were crowded enough, he knew he could get away with this threatening position for now, but he would not be able to keep it up long. Then again, it would be quite fun if a passerby had the audacity to challenge him.

Elora felt pure fear, as she looked down the blade and then slowly up to his face. She just stood there watching him with her mouth hanging open. Why was here doing this? How was this person? She just stared for a few moments before lifting her shaking hands up to push the blade away and cringe back.
"I-i was w-w-rr-ong. I am not the bully here." She told him, taking a few steps away. "Who are you?" She asked, wanting to know the name of the man she would complain about the guards. He had ruined things and cost her money. She knew how things worked here, and knew this was not allowed.

Even though Vaughn had not expected her to be so bold, he chuckled deeply at her actions. She was stammering. Clearly, he was still having an affect on her. Not only did she speak, buts he stepped away. More of a distance than he would have liked, for his sword would be too obvious. He took a few steps towards her, smiling devilishly. "I am the man you dared throw a tomato at." Honestly, Vaughn did not care about the tomato. It just gave him a reason to harass this woman; this one particular person out of the whole crowd.
"And who are you. So bold to speak against me." Again, he did not care who she was. He would annoy her and he would not even ask her name. She was a person, just like the million other people in the world. She was of no concern or consequence to him.

"I am Elora, the seamstress." She told him, feeling fear trickle down her spine. She just keep watching him however. She was not going to be coward by such a man. At lest not unless she had to be. Because that the moment she was beinging to have her doubts how how smart this was.
She looked around her for a moment, wondering where the guards where. Surely someone would have alerted them and this man . . . this BEAST would not get to hurt her. She looked back at him and waited to see what he would do. Surely he had, had his fun and he would leave or the king's men would come.

Her title made Vaughn laugh. A seamstress? Really? She said that with so much pride. While he completely disregarded any class differences, not believing it to be significant at all, he still thought it was amusing that she seemed so proud, or at least not afraid to admit, that she was a seamstress. "I see," he said, with a sinister smile. "So you have no way of defending yourself. Other than poking me to death with a needle of yours." He was of course being sarcastic. While she was bold, she was also a helpless woman in Vaughn's eyes and that was his favorite target.
He began to close the distance between them, standing directly in front of her, looking to see if they had caught any attention from others through his peripheral vision. "Are you afraid Elora the Seamstress?" He asked, using her full title. He enjoyed seeing how different people reacted to the same situation: when in the face of danger.
