Neav sat cross-legged on the forest floor. His hood was pulled up to hide his pale face. The trees were so thick that they only let through the tinist pinpoints of light, little flecks dancing like fireflies. It was not often that Neav might be seen alone. The boy always had some horse-friend by his side. And if he was found this deep in the forest it was because he was riding out with a message from the King. But today was different.
Even when a boy is a Creature of Magic, born with a power that he can never escape, he must pratice his skills. And when he lives in Camelot with its maddened, magic-hating King, such practice is very dangerous. Normally Neav had no free time in the day and tried his magic in the hayloft at night. But today was different. Following a sickness the night before, Neav had been ordered to have the day off. He had taken the chance to walk deep into the forest, to sit down and pratice Magic.
So he sat cross legged, breathing slow as he had been taught. In front of him lay a small bundle of sticks. Neav's ice-blue eyes flashed silver and the sticks began to rise. A smile danced on his lips. Neav used his magic to bend and twist the sticks, moving them through the air until they formed to make a perfect little model of a unicorn.

Keleth found himself sprinting through the forest, moving through the trees and bushes. The movement could be felt as if it were in slow motion, and more of a dance as Keleth went from tree to tree. His mind was free as he raced through the forest heading back to his village of the druids but something made him stop dead in his tracks. A sense of pain rushed through Keleth's head as he could magic being used in the forest. Moving his head slightly to the left as he is picturing images within the forest to where the magic was coming from. The forest was speaking to him and showing him a small kid with a born talent of magic. As Keleth opened his eyes he knew where he could find this boy in the forest.
Turning his body around he began to sprint toward the boy who was ussing magic. It had only took a few minutes as the boy was sitting on the ground using magic to lift objects in the air. Keleth stared at the boy wondering what he could do or say to this boy. Then he began to think how he could use this boy to his advantage. Stepping forward he was going to befriend the boy in order for him to get what he wanted in return. "Dangerous her alone in the woods....I couldn't help but notice that you have magic...but yet your just a kid." Keleth acted as if he was in shock as he step forward in his black robe hand behind him. Raising his hand his eyes glowed pure white as a log was right next to the boy lifted up showing him that he was a magic user as well. "Don't worry, I'm a druid with magic as well. I live in these woods." Keleth spoke reasuring that he can be trusted with the boy.
(sorry took so long)

Neav smiled, watching his little twig unicorn turn slowly in the air. He never could have made such a thing with his hands. If Neav had been listening to the forest, if he had set a thread of magic to keep aware of the movements around him, if he had stopped playing with his toy for just a moment and turned when a bird chattered a warning... but he did none of these things. Neav was young, and his mind with filled with a dancing twig unicorn. He did not notice the stranger until the man began to speak.
Neav gasped at the sudden company, startling to his feet. He forgot his magic and the toy fell to the ground. His eyes were wide, terrified as a thousand thoughts raced through his head. He seen me make magic! He will tell the King! I am so stupid! They will kill me. He will kill me! I can't die. So stupid! What will happen to Folly and Gillyflower and Kingfisher and Chance...
It took a moment for the stranger's words to sink through his panic. Dangerous here? Neav supposed that it could be. There were wolves after all... but his magic had protected him from wolves before. Probably that could happen again... Neav took a step back as the man moved forward. The boy was not quick to trust, even if this man sounded conserned for him. Suddenly the stranger's eyes flashed white. A log beside Neav lifted itself into the air. The boy skittered away from it like a frightened foal. Magic?
Far from being reassured, Neav watched the man with fear. He had never met a druid before... but he had been taught that they came both good and evil and all in between. How was he supposed to know? "I -" Neav began, with no idea of what he meant to say. "I...uhm..." he bent to pick up the unicorn from the grass, not taking his eyes off the druid. "Pleased to meet you..." Neav said, rather lamely. Perhaps he should just run before this druid tried to attack him.
((That is ok. I was away, so I did not notice if it took long. ))
