Amber was unusually clam today. No one seemed to have changed. Everything was fairly peaceful. She hoped that nothing strange would happen. She had enough of people changing then disappearing completely. After all, he brother, her dear, dear brother, was in the center of all this madness. Everyone he loved was being chased away, everyone but her of course. She couldn’t imagine it happing again to herself. Amber had already lost her parents to the dark magic that drifted through Camelot. It pained her to think about them. She would have never thought that they would have died, that they would ever become one of them. Even if it was under a spell, they followed those warlocks, witches, the druids. Her parents had gone against their King, and to Amber that was unforgivable.

Amber had just finished cleaning one of the many Chambers, and was stalking off to wash the bedding. The white sheets were piled on top of each other making it hard to see where she was going. A stone in the floor stuck out, which she, of course, tripped over dropping all of the laundry. She sighed, her knee was bleeding, but she didn’t care. After all it wasn’t her body she had harmed, but she had to see to it before she continued her task. As she rose, pain shot through her leg, she screamed. She bit her lip hard, so hard she could taste blood. There was a sound, it sounded like her heart was quickening, but it couldn’t have been. It had to be something else.
