Location: What would one day be a major city in France
The city here was large and busy and put the 19 year old man out of sorts. He was not used to so many people, but he had been hired to help protect a merchant who traveled this way to sell good so he had little choice but to come into the city. The job was over now, and Alistair was walking the market to see if there were any sights he had to see before leaving. Mostly he would stop and exchange the coins he had for some foods, or clothing that he would need.
He had not slept well over the past few nights as the current vision he was having was growing stronger. There was a young man in the dream, who died by the hands of something he still could not see. Something dark and magical. There was a women there, crying over him.
Just as she was crossing his mind, he caught right of someone who did not look as if they quite fit in. His froze wile staring at her for a long moment. It was the girl from the dream. He almost walked away, as he was still trying to come to terms with his gift but he knew he could not. Moving slowly, he walked closer deciding to test the waters.

Maeve was outside of her home. Outside of her comfort zone, but she showed no discomfort in being here. It was nice, to see the new surroundings and encounter a new language and culture. If only the circumstances of her travels had been better. The Great Purge was not too long ago, and it had greatly negatively impacted her people. They were already diminishing due to the increasing danger throughout the land and the people starting to steer away from the Old Religion. Whatever the reason, she was out of Mabon, trying to find an answer to this horrible problem. She feared that in the next 100 years, Faeries would only be a legend. A myth, for this would become extinct.
She could not let this happen. She would not let this happen.
She was clad in her cloak, her hood covering her head to hide her pointed ears. It was one of the only things that prevented her from looking like a completely ordinary human being. These were dangerous times, especially now, and she had to ensure that she was as cautious as possible. She could not abandon her people, which was why she was out here in the first place.
She noticed a man approaching her. Though he did not have a warm or welcoming demeanor, she sensed no hostility from him either. She watched him, just as he was watching her and when he stood in front of Maeve, she just continued to lock eyes on him. There was something about this man. What that something was, she could not define, but it made him different. This intrigued her enough to stand in his presence, and explain why he had approached a stranger in the first place.

Alistair stared at her as she stared at him. He debated still on walking away from knew that unless he stopped it the dreams would only get worse and worse. He watched her for a long moment before he noticed she was alone. Where was the other? She was not the one who died in his dream, it was the male.
Not quite sure how to began such a conversation, and only half sure he even wanted to he gave a nod of his head in greeting before speaking up. "Are you traveling alone?" He wondered if he should have started from hello, but he had not thought of that before hand. "I thought there was another." He knew there was. Maybe she had not meet the man yet, or he was her husband and was at their home?

She had certainly not expected him to say, or ask, what he did. She looked at him, a curious expression though not overly dramatized. When she spoke her voice was soft, though she was a little wary of what his intentions were. Had he been watching her? Was he some sort of spy for someone? Some may consider this to be paranoid but when ones race was slowly becoming endangered, one had a right to be defensive and very concerned with a strangers comment.
Though at the same time, she continued to sense no hostility from him. There was something very unique about him; something she could not place yet it intrigued her. I do travel in the company of others. But tell me kind stranger, what interest does this hold for you? Her voice was not demanding but rather, filled with curiousity as she remained very calm in this moment, waiting to hear of the stranger's reasoning for such questions and remarks.

She was right to put up her guard, for he could be someone evil. While he was young, at 19 he was tall and strong. Having reached his full height, and working for a living had made him appear to be a warrior. Alistair was not an expert fighting, at lest not with a sword but the two daggers he carried were sharp. He was learning to fight with them since they were lighter, easier to carry and he could move faster with them. Striking blows and bring down his attacker more readily then with a large, long, and heavy sword.
"Where is he?" Alistair asked, reliving he knew it was a male. He knew from his dreams at lest. He knew he had to warn her but he did not know if he should help her. He'd seen her face however, when her 'friend' died. He wasn't sure if he could not help; but he was no man's hero.

He? Did this man mean who she thought he did? She was indeed accompanied by a he, as she often was for Haldir helped protect her during such dangerous times, but...how did he know that? She had not seen this man before, and Haldir had not been in her company for many moments. This concerned her, and she was not sure if she was ready to reveal that she was indeed with him. Not when her people were already being threatened. She gave a kind smile, trying not to be rude to the stranger. Even if he was planning something violent or cruel, she could not be quick to judge.
But...she was too honest to lie about this. She did not want to ask more questions if he was not going to answer them for they would be talking in circles. If we are talking about the same person, as I assume you must have seen us together at some point How else would he have known? I must ask as to why you are inquiring about him? She purposely did not say his name. Haldir had already lost his wife, and a dear friend of Maeve's... she did not want to be responsible for his death too. Maybe they were not even talking about the same man! Oh Maeve was terribly confused and hoped the stranger would start answering her questions, for her curiosity was making her feel uneasy, even if she managed to keep her composure.

"Because he is about to die." He told her, her a calm and deep voice for a man of 19. He looked right at her, and while most people might have wondered what prison he had just escaped from he was being honest. He had saw the man die in his dreams and saw this woman cry over his body. Alistair did not often have to deal with people, so he did was not aware that he was being to straight forward.
He had seem the man walking thought the town; and getting pulled into a darken ally. He would be injured, and left for dead as the men robbed him. If that was not enough, he knew that they would take notice of something he had one him. While he could not see what it was, they seemed more then willing to beat information out of the dying man about whatever it was.
