Lisa had just received an Urgent request from her step-father or father that she thought was her father, up until her mother informed her that she was the daughter of a knight of Camelot. Two weeks ago, she had been notified from a messenger whom still believed her to be the rightful heir of Kentura, that her father was Ill and she was needed back in her country encase she needed to uphold the thrown.
After a quiet conversation, she explained that she renounced her title and she wasn't the heir to the thrown anymore. "Look, I am not the Heir anymore...And I wish to have nothing more to do with Kentura.."She said pausing as she looked down. She heard that she was his daughter and was raised by him for 15 years and it would be out of decency and respect that she go back to her country and uphold what ever he asks her to.
"Who...Who told you to tell me this?"She said as she knew that phrasing was known to one person and one alone. The person it belonged to was her father's closest and most trusted adviser.."Fine, I will go... But not for him or my father...for my mother to know he is not dead yet."She said as she looked at him and went back inside to get ready to depart the next day.
Looking down she finished packing and had lunch, and supper with her parents. She didn't know when she would tell them the news, she figured now would be a good as time as any,"Mother, Father....The king is ill...And they would like me to travel back to see the old man...But I don't want to..."She said as she didn't want to call her step-father by his name anymore.
She heard them argue the point for a while then decided that for her best interest that she should go. It wasn't her mother that said it was in her best interest it was her father. She didn't quite agree with him on this matter but he was the leader of their house and she had to obey him. So she nodded and said she would go as she had already planed to go, but failed to mention that she would.
After a day of traveling with her partner and guard, she heard that he had to go hunt for some dinner, "Alright"She agreed as this was a good of time as any to set camp for the night...It would be an 8 day journey to Kentura. Which wasn't long but it was still a trek...
After he had been gone for about 30 minutes, Lisa heard rustling in the bushes. "Who's there?"She asked standing up and grabbed her sword Kena. "Show yourself!"She ordered as she saw about 8 men come out of the bushes in a circle. "Damn, damn..."She thought silently as she saw them surround her.
How did they know that she would be on the path...They probably watched these paths day and night to see if someone like her would show up any time soon...Where are you Adam..or someone she thought of her guard as she started to engage the men whom had surrounded her. Ruining the campsite she had taken 30 minutes to set up.
