It wasnt until Morgana herself laid eyes on the very much alive, and very much healing Prince that she stopped fretting and bursting into tears at the slightest provocation. Her dreams had been so vivid, so lifelike that it had sent her flying down the halls and out of the castle to beg her adoptive brother not to go. To not fight this beast. But, with Arthur being Arthur, and Uther being Uther, there had been no stopping him. And he had been brought back, half dead, just as Morgana had seen him in her dreams. That was when she nearly broke.
For she knew what came next. She'd seen this, and then she had seen him actually dead. Arthur couldnt die. She wouldnt allow it. Guievere had been witness to her violent reactions in those few days, and she had already set about apologising for it to her handmaiden. She had just been so worried. But Arthur was on the mend again, and she'd heard that Merlin and Gaius had just returned from somewhere. Something in her gut told Morgana there was more to this than anyone thought.
So, she now found herself standing outside the old physician's chambers, wringing her hands in her shawl as she worked up the courage to knock on the door. What would she say? She had no idea. Finally, she just lifted her hand and knocked, her mind still blank. She would simply take it as it comes.

Recently things had been hectic, what with Arthur nearly dying, and then the whole thing eventually being Nimueh's fault. And then of course it got worser still; to save a life, a life had to be taken according to the Old Religion. Merlin had accepted this, but only because he had expected it to take his. Instead, it tried to take his mother's. He couldn't allow that to happen, so he had gone back to the Isle of the Blessed to force Nimueh to take his, but Gaius had gone ahead first, and died himself until Merlin killed her instead.
What a complete pain.
But he hadn't been about to let Arthur die. Even when he had first come to Camelot, he never would have wished the man dead. Well, there were times... But over time, the Prince had become his friend. Now more than ever he would have done anything for him. He decided right then and there that they should pay more heed to Morgana's predictions. She had warned Arthur that he couldn't go, said she had had a dream, and in the end, she had been right. The Questing Beast had nearly killed him.
Everything was back to normal now... for now.
It never seemed to stay that way, though. For some strange reason -- that was not all that strange given life in Camelot -- trouble seemed to stalk Camelot like a plague. Well, not quite like a plague, but it had seen it's fair share of that to be sure.
Gaius was out at the moment, they had returned only just recently, but he always had things to do. Merlin was glad for that, glad that he was out and about because that meant that he was alive, not dead at the Isle of the Blessed because of Nimueh. Merlin however, was still in the Physician's Chambers. He was reading through the spell book that Gaius had given him soon after arriving in the city. So when he heard the knock on the door, he nearly jumped out of his bed, tossing the book to the side.
Well, it definitely couldn't be Arthur, he would have just walked in. This was a good thing though, that the person knocked, it gave him time to hide the spell book. After that, he walked out of his room, down the small set of stairs, and opened the front door to see. . .
"Morgana!" he exclaimed, smiling widely. He opened the door to allow her to enter. "Gaius isn't here at the moment if you needed him."

Morgana was lost in her thoughts once again, so when the door suddenly opened in front of her, despite knowing she had knocked and having to expect it somewhat, she jumped a little, taken by surprise as Merlin appeared. Another moment passed before she realised what he had said, and she firmly rooted herself back in the present.
"I'm sorry for just barging in like this," she apologised as she entered the physician's chambers, looking around her as she went. It was difficult not to walk into Gaius and Merlin's chambers without looking at anything and everything. The older man always had some kind of experiment going, or some formula bubbling about, and Morgana kept an eye out just in case anything was likely to explode. She'd learnt her lessons as a youngling not to touch anything in this room if you didnt want your eyebrows singed off.
Arthur had teased her relentlessly for weeks until she'd cracked him in the eye with her fist. Served him right though. He'd made her cry, so she'd made him do the same.
Realising her thoughts were wandering, again, Morgana smiled and turned to Merlin. "Oh no I didnt need to see him. I just found out you'd both returned and wanted to see how you were doing," the lady said, her hands wringing in the sash around her waist. She didnt know how to broach the subject of her dream, or if she should even bring them up at all.
"Arthur seems to be recovering well and I wanted to thank you and Gaius," Morgana finished, hoping Merlin understood her. She was far more observant than Arthur, and so hoped that Merlin and Gwen understood their relationship despite all their arguing. She was thanking them for saving her brother, Arthur, not just the Crown Prince.
