| "What the bloody hell do you mean you -lost- it?" She demand, while looking up at the dirty man who she'd come all this way to see. 'I'll get it back, don't worry your sweet head about that.' He told her, seeming rather confidant over that fact. "It's not my head anyone should be worried about." She threatened while gritting her teeth in annoyance.
She had been sent here by Alvarr to find a dagger that would allow them to get close to the king of Camelot during the upcoming jousting matches. He would be out in the open with all sorts of unknown people all about. It would be easy! Fun even! At lest it would be if this moron did not get her dagger back from who ever he lost it too! "Where is it?" She demanded, thinking it best if she just went and got it her self. 'My men are getting it bac--' "--Where!?" 'Over there,' He pointed and she turned to skim the crowds, '-that one with allot of hair. He has it for the moment.'
When her eyes found the man who had the dagger, and the other men watching him closely she started to move forward. 'No, lass! Don't you go and be causing me no trouble. I'd hate to have my men do to you what they're about to do to him.' He called to her as she walked though the tarven. If this man was about to get jumped, she wanted her dagger before the chaos started. WHO: Gwaine WHAT: Enmyria wants what he has WHEN: Pre-Season 3 (Early Season 2ish?) WHERE: Smaller town in the dangerous Mercia. |

Gwaine was sitting on one table by the corner, proudly showing off to the other patrons in the tavern the dagger he had recently won from a game of dice with that one dirty-looking man. The man stood no chance in the gamble really, and Gwaine didn’t even know what had gotten into him to want to part with such a lovely piece of work. The moment Gwaine had laid eyes on the dagger, he knew he was in love with it. It was calling to him, as if wanting to be possessed by no one else but him.
There was something about the dagger that made Gwaine want to take it. It was strange knowing he already had quite a collection of weapons with him: a dagger, a sword, and a few others. He didn’t know what it was that was making him want to covet this one. Still, it was a mighty good win, and he was not one to return a prize that was won fair and square.
He was exchanging laughs as he held out the dagger to those gathered around him wanting to see and touch it. “No touching. Just look and marvel at its beauty from afar, my friends,” Gwaine said. It was quite a beauty indeed, with its crooked but sharp blade, and the interesting handle that was made up of crafted snakes intertwined with each other. There was some piece of writing on the blade, too, that Gwaine couldn’t decipher. "A few coins to those who can tell me what these markings mean!" he called out those around him.

| "It's an old language." She told him as she approached, "One of years past, and I wont bore you with the details." Enmyria got right down to the point as she didn't plan on being here when drunk and stupid got into a tumble with this one. They were restless and she knew that it would not be long before their drink made them bolder and they all merged to get back what they wanted. She could of course, wait til they beat it out of him and pay for it afterward but she didn't feel like waiting around.
Besides she wanted to impress Alvarr with how quickly she could get something this simple down. "You can keep your coins, and I will even add to them. The dagger is mine, and I can pay quite a bit for it." She paused letting the silent OR hang between them in a challenge, "Or, I can let them take it back from you and just buy it from them." Surely he would be smart enough to hand it over quickly, and not stand their rubbing it in everyone's face that he had the treasure that everyone in the tavern seemed to want.
New rule of business, next time she has to met a shady man to buy a illegal dagger she was not doing it in a place where drinks ruled more then brains. |

His head turned at the sound of the voice. He had half expected a taunt or a jeer from any one of the drunkards around him, not that of a woman. Still she was hardly the feminine type characteristic of barmaids or village maidens. From the looks of the clothes she was wearing, she was an out and about girl. Definitely more at home out there in the wild than in a warm and comfortable home or cottage.
He smirked when she told him she’d pay for the dagger, and tried not to look amused when she added her fancy little threat to that. Now, Gwaine was your typical curious lot. He may look happy-go-lucky, but he had an inquisitive mind that at times wanted answers, too. While he had initially thought the dagger to be merely beautiful, the woman’s offer to buy it from him, while tempting, intrigued him.
He stood up from where he was sitting and walked towards the woman. He led her away from the crowd and onto a corner. “What’s so special about this dagger that you’d give me money for it?” he asked. Gwaine knew he lived in a world where more than mortal dealings exist. He had inspected the dagger himself. There were no precious gems on it nor was it made of fine gold. So that could only mean one thing. It was magic. Maybe. He wanted to be sure though.

| Great! Her drunk wanted to chit chat. Enmyria didn't blink as she smoothly liked and called it, "An old family heairloom." Rather then admit it was magic and she wanted it baddly. The dagger was special and she needed it to give to Alvarr. If she hated anything in this world it was looking back before him. She was not about to return empty handed! As for Alvarr's cause to over though the king and bring 'justic' to the land . . . .
She could handle the power it would bring her and the woman by his side, but the cause wasn't hers by blood and she wasn't here to die for the cause. Fight for it? Sure, she wanted a world ruled by Alvarr, but she came from a small town were kings didn't even bother taxing. She never knew the evils Alvarr preached aginst. "I wont ask again. You can leave rich, or they can make sure you don't leave." Surely he rather be rich enough to drink him self blind rather then fighting the local lowlives. |

An eyebrow quirked at the woman when she told him it was an old family heirloom. Now, he didn’t expect that, and one which he didn’t quite easily believed. It was a beautiful dagger, but it was much too crude to be owned and treasured by a family. And if it were, how come it was now out and about in the black market. “Was it stolen from your family? What kind of a family would not guard their heirlooms well?” Gwaine asked, looking at her curiously now. No, she would have to do more than convince him.
She asked as she repeated her threats again. “Not good enough, lady,” Gwaine told her as he turned and walked away from the corner where they had been talking, totally not afraid of the threats. He had seen the men she had referred to, and sure they were frightening enough. But Gwaine only shrugged it off. He could take them all. Sure, the money was tempting, but the thought about the offer made him even more interested in the dagger. He wanted to find out exactly what was with this fancy little knife that caught her attention. He turned and gave the woman a little wink, before making his way through the crowd and towards the door. If she wanted it that bad, she was going to have to work harder than that for to get it.

| . . . . What the bloody hell! Did that drunken lout just walk away after telling her that her offer of payment wasn't damn well good enough?! Enmyria stood there in slight shock for a moment before starting to follow him, "Hey! Get back here!" She yelled at him in a mincing voice that promised violence if he did not do as she demanded. She was not letting that scruffy looking idiot out of her sight while he had her knife!
Following him she picked up her pace to both keep up and catch up with him. She didn't like that this seemed to amuse him, for he didn't look annoyed nor board. She was about to make him look pained if he didn't hurry up and take her deal. Pained and broke. "Look, I've nice up til this point! It's not just a pretty little dagger, You couldn't even use it if you wanted to. So why not save me the effort and you the beating and just get rich quick by passing it my way?" It was his last chance before one of the two--(the thugs or her self)--attacked them. |

A wide and toothy grin flashed on Gwaine’s face when he heard her call out to him. Her voice sounded menacing…as menacing as a little woman could muster. But it wasn’t enough to intimidate him. Now the happy-go-lucky side of Gwaine don’t really want to get himself into another violent brawl or anything. But the devil-may-care side of him was too adventurous to easily let this one go by. No, he was going to milk as much information as he could about the dagger from the woman before deciding whether to give it up or not. As long as he had satisfied himself with the facts, he’ll act accordingly.
He was slowly making his way out at a leisurely pace, frankly because he wanted her to catch up with him like he guessed she would. And he wasn’t wrong. In less than a minute, he could hear that she had ran after up with him with the same incessant threats she had been throwing at him earlier. He turned and looked at her, holding the knife up between them, inspecting it.
“It's not just a pretty little dagger, You couldn't even use it if you wanted to.”
And there was that. She herself had confirmed that it wasn’t just any dagger. Now, how was he going to get rid of such an interesting weapon when she was making him all intrigued about it. Gwaine was much too curious for his own good. He thought it would be nice to play along. “What can the dagger do exactly?” he asked her, squinting his eyes at her. “If I were to sell it to you, I need to know what it can do so I will know I’m getting paid justly. Perhaps you can show me?”
