::vaughn:: Vaughn was in the market for a new horse. After managing to escape the Caerleon castle, after a rather pleasant encounter with the princess herself, Vaughn was still not entirely prepared to leave Gwent. Firstly, he needed a steed and second, well no. That was it. Of course he would have to wait a bit for he was still considered to be a fugitive right now. It had been the second time he broke into the castle and he was not going to let himself get caught again. He made his way into the heavily wooded area of the forest, deciding that this would be the best place to lay low until he could return to the city and steal an animal that would grant him a speedy exit from this kingdom.
As he wandered through the woods, he heard the rustling of leaves from, somewhere. Wait. Was that someone who was softly crying? Slightly intrigued, Vaughn followed the sign of her voice. It did not take long for he had been close enough to hear all the sounds. And so, within moments he came a across a woman. He stood there, looking at her. She was what could be conveniently described as a 'damsel in distress'. Unfortunately for her, Vaughn was no knight in shining armor.

::vaughn:: When Vaughn saw who he had heard, a bit of a smirk formed on his expression. While a knight may have stopped, desperate and all too willing to help this distressed woman, Vaughn was not an average knight. And she was about to find that out. He reached into his pocket and took out a coin, flicking it at her. He did not know what happened to put her in such a state nor did he care enough to ask. Once he flicked the coin, he continued to smirk as he spoke. "For whoever has to drag your body out of here. You may as well reward them." And with that, he continued forward, not about to waste his time. She was beautiful, yes. But she was injured and it was no fun to harass an already wounded woman. It was far more amusing when they did not act vulnerable and susceptible to help.
Vaughn did not get far, for as he walked forward, he felt a small hard object hit his head. It was enough to make him freeze in place. He slowly, as if dragging out the moment, turned around, intensely looking at her, practically ignoring all of her words. Did. She. Just. Throw. A. Rock. At. Him. How injured could she possibly be! The smirk vanished and was replaced with a cold hard stare. Despite her violent act, she had intrigued Vaughn. He took a few steps towards her, swiftly pulling out both his swords and pointing the tips of them to her neck. "I should finish the job of whomever left you here to die." Again, he did not care who attacked her, or why she was wounded. The thought that played in his head was just killing her for what she did. Then again, maybe it would prove to be more interesting to keep her alive. Either way, Vaughn stood his ground, for now.

| Oh, how scary. Enmyria looked pissed, but other wise unimpressed with his double act. "So your as smart as you are chivalrous, I see." She bit out, before whipping the back of her hand off her back and holding it to display to him. She didn't break eye contact, wouldn't dare while he was armed and she was waiting for him to make her move. Displaying her hand gave her two points to make. The first was that she was completely unharmed and he was the idiot here for believing her so. The next one, was the one she was about to make. For as her one hand was displayed her other hand pulled a small thin shard of metal out of her sleeve very subtlety.
That was her cue to make her move, she spun in a circle moving closer to him. The hand that was on display pushed the swords to the side, knowing she had mere SECONDS before he could come around with them if he was ANY form of skilled. As she came to be face to face (sort of) with him; the shard came to rest pressing into the side of his neck. "How frighting you. Needing two swords to frighten a little girl." She said with amusement and anger rather then fear and bitterness. |

::vaughn:: It seemed that the tables had turned. She was not a meek, vulnerable woman and who knows for what reason she had been faking to be as such. Vaughn was however, interested in finding out., So when she held the blade against his throat, he lowered his blade. Not as an act of submission but rather, because he did not want to kill her. He wanted to find out more about her. "If you are going to hold a blade at my throat, you should shed some blood to show that you are serious." With that, he put his hand over hers and gently pressed the blade onto his throat, creating a small clean cut. It was his way to show that he was afraid of death, nor was he afraid of her.
When he had hold of her hand, he grasped her wrist and twisted her arm behind her. He moved his position so that he was now standing behind her, keeping a firm hold on her arm, twisting it a bit more to keep it in place. His head was slightly tilted to the side so that he could look at her. "Seems you have been pretending to be something you are not. What possible reason could you have for doing such a thing." His statement was a bit sarcastic, though he was still a bit curious as to what motivated her to pretend to be so injured and in cry for help.

Enmyria would have cut him slightly for his words had he not done it for her. It cooled a bit of her anger, and made her more wonder at what sort of man she had just crossed paths with. He seemed to have used that has his distraction so he could turn the tables. However, Enmyria was used to men thinking they could over power her because she was a girl or smaller or weaker. Granted she was all three but she was quicker and moved faster and knew tricks with fighting that most knights didn't dream of doing.
She relaxed her body so it fell to the ground, causing him to either let her fall or comprise his sure footing to take on all her weight. She turned as she fell, to untwist her arm and wrap her free arm around his leg so he could not step back before reaching up with her foot to knock his other leg sideways. As smoothly stood as he feel back, yanking her hand free of his. "Touch me with out permission, and I will draw blood; just a few feet lower." She promised him, sounding more amused rather then annoyed as she had before. She liked getting one up on people, and this was a bit fun as she felt like she was winning this round. It was not everyday that she found someone that did not cower from her.

::vaughn:: With her little strategic movements, light weight, and speedy gestures, he did indeed stumble. But this was far from any sort of admittance of defeat. Before nearly hitting the ground after his already compromised balance becoming less stable when she kicked him, he managed to catch himself. He did not fall. Nor did he feel threatened by her words, or even actions. Instead, her 'threat' caused him to deeply chuckle, as he gave her a slightly amused smile. He was leaning towards not killing her. Where would the fun in that be anyway. It was not every day that he came across a fake damsel in distress, who in actuality, wished to pick a fight with men. Well, that was what it seemed like. He was still curious to find out her motives for doing this. To rob someone. An ambush perhaps. If it was an ambush then her companions were not very attentive, nor did they have good timing.
Vaughn kept a bit of a distance from her, as much as she allowed after her break from his grasp. "My my. Feisty little creature aren't you," he commented, still smiling. His words were taunting and mocking towards her, obviously. Vaughn more so enjoyed provoking people through verbal means. It always provided great amusement to see what affected them. To see how to get a rise out of them. He intended to find out what sort of subject would cause this from her. One that he already knew of, was to simply ignore her. For the first time he had done that, she did not take too well to it.
