Amusingly to Alegra, the sky seemed to be mercilessly fuming, swirling about with clouds as dark as clouds got. Of course, considering the fact that everyone unfortunate enough to be caught outside would be drenched within moments of the storm's start, it should not have been nearly as funny as it was. She, however, managed to see a great deal of irony in the situation. That morning, she had fought and fought with her mother to be allowed to remain at home while she and her brother ventured into the city, but her mother had suggested - no, insisted - that it was too beautiful a day to waste away indoors. No doubt, her mother would have a fit when they all came home in clothing that was nearly ruined, if not completely so.
Somehow, she had managed to distance herself from her company. Drake would be furious, of course, that she had left him to face the terror of their socializing mother all on his own, and her mother would lecture her about the dangers of such a "pretty young girl straying off on her own." While this was indeed a serious threat, the very thought brought a smile to Alegra's rebellious lips. She certainly looked like the perfect pray for any disgusting man with a severe lack of morals, but they would be quite in for a surprise; she was not the submissive woman that most were. And, even if she was concerned about it, that would not have changed the fact that she needed her space. Had she whiled the day away with her family, she'd have gone insane, especially once the rain began to fall and her mother began to complain.

Morgana was walking through the square in a green robe trying to hide her face from the crowd, looking down at her feet not paying attention to everyone around her. She bumped into someone. "Sorry." She looked up and saw Alegra and sighed. "Well my plan worked." She muttered to herself and pulled down her hood.
Morgana had just wanted time to get away from Arthur and Uther and the rest of her dreams...she just wanted time to think, but rushing around the castle, being pushed and pulled in every direction, gave her little time to think, let alone breath. She would take the random relaxing horse ride or midnight walk, but she need to walk and calm down, get away from yelled and worrying about Arthur. Stop have conversations with Uther, she needed the space.

Alegra had just felt the first drop of rain patter onto her nose and looked up at the sky as if she could see the bits of water falling down from it. Why, she mused, does one always feel the rain on their nose before they feel it anywhere else? Every time she could remember, she had first detected the rain when it had done just that. However, she had little time to continue considering such a matter, as she realized moments too late that with her head tilted towards the sky, she had failed to watch where it was she was going.
She lifted a brow and murmured a soft, "Sorry." A quick glance upwards - she didn't bother searching for a face around her own height; by this point in her life, it was generally accepted that anyone and everyone she came by would tower over her - told her the person that had run into her (or that she had run into? She hadn't been paying enough attention to tell!) was indeed hooded, but before she could so much as draw upon her curiosity, they removed it. With Morgana's place in the King's Ward, obviously Alegra recognized her, but was far from intimidated - it took quite a lot, in fact, to intimidate her. Instead, she nodded her head, greeting, "Hello."

"Hello. Please, don't tell anyone." She grabbed Alegar's arm and pulled her over to the side to hide in the shadows. The rain began to pick up. "Darn, they'll be wondering where I am. I don't want to go back." She looked at the ground. "I'm Lady Morgana, You are?" She said looking up at Alegra. Let her talk, keep your mouth shut. She told herself over and over again.
It dawned on her that Arthur would be worrying about her and so would Uther and Gwen, but oh well they would set off in search for her soon. More or less, Uther would send Arthur, then Arthur would send Merlin, then Gwen would end up finding her in the end. She sighed in hopes of not being found. Maybe this girl could help her.

Alegra's eyebrows lifted as her arm was gripped and she found herself being carted off out of the rain. Temper flashed in her eyes for only a moment; she did hate being forced to do something without her permission, and she loved the rain. She much would have preferred to have such a conversation while in it! She let the anger fade quickly, however, paying mind to the woman she now spoke with; after all, in a battle between fury and curiosity, the latter always won out.
"Lady Alegra," she responded slowly, a slight frown adorning her face. "What is a lady such as yourself doing unaccompanied?" It was quite the hypocritical statement, of course. Alegra herself had escaped those that would have escorted her, and though she was not exactly in hiding from them, she was attempting to - and doing a rather remarkable job at - avoid them. She could, if no one else, sympathize with Morgana's plight; not that she was likely to admit such a thing right from the start. King's Ward or not, she did not know her, and in Alegra's mind, if you didn't know someone, you could not trust them.

"I left. I had to leave, I couldn't think... Let alone breath." Why am I explaining myself to her! Morgana thought. "What are you doing wandering around, alone?" Morgana was getting impatient. The rain was falling hard onto the ground by now and all she wanted was to leave, but she didn't want to go back to Uther, Arthur and Gwen. She pulled up her hood. If I listen to her and not be snippy, maybe she'll help me. Be patient. She told herself.
"We should walk and talk, better for our health then standing around." She barely smiled at Alegra. She walked out into the rain, the road muddy and sicking. Morgana kept her head down, looking at her feet.

"Ah," Alegra said, nodding in understanding. The same reasons she, herself, had escaped the confines of her mother's presence; she needed time alone. However, Morgana's next words did not sit with her nearly so well. Her eyes narrowed at the clipped tone, and she felt her pride bristling over such short talk. She had asked the same question, of course, but had done so in a decidedly more polite manner. "I do not answer to you," she informed her companion coldly. "I, too, am a lady, and you can't expect me to go bustling about with you until you treat me like one."
It was no so much that status was important to Alegra - rather, respect. If she treated someone with it, it was expected in return, and the little spitfire had a severe lack of tolerance for those that were intentionally rude. Never-the-less, Morgana suggested they continue walking - something Alegra very much preferred to simply standing there, especially when walking meant being in the rain - and offered a smile, which she decided to simply accept. "Very well," she agreed. "We shall walk."
