TRAVELLING TOWARDS SAFETY The sun was high in the sky signaling that it was noon. Princess Serina De Noir sat a top of her horse very tired and weary from her northern home of Falcanlor. She had been travelling for days on end and now that she was in the southern reaches of England she was starting to feel lost. She knew that her parents Robin and Maria De Noir had arranged for her to meet somebody who knew the south to take her to a safe kingdom. But as of yet she had not come across such a person to help her on her way, and with her not knowing where she was going she hoped that they would turn up soon. If they didn't she didn't want to think to what could happen to her as who knows what kind of bandits where in the woods.
Though it wasn't like she couldn't defend herself as she was highly skilled in archary and wasn't too bad with the sword either. Sighing she looked once again around the woods before urging where horse Periwinkle onwards as she really had no clue where to go. Periwinkle began to slowly and steadily walk forward following what Serina believed to be a trail used by messengers or maybe even a hunting party. But it was then there was a noise from behind her. Quickly halting Periwinkle one of her hands reached from her bow while the other went to her quiver and when she brought them together she had an arrow notch on her bow. "Come out and I wont shoot" Serina said her eyes locked on the bushes.

Sir Lancelot, in a short time, had become a valuable knight of the Earl of Huntingdon in Wessex. However, although he did good work or him, and was valued, he allowed him to work as a free agent from time-to-time for other nobles. A situation had occurred in the northern kingdom of Falconlor, where the king and queen had decided that their heir and daughter had to be spirited out to one of the safer kingdoms to the south. They contacted, a friend, the Earl of Huntingdon, to refer them to someone who could watch over and protect their daughter on her journey, Without hesitation he suggested Sir Lancelot, hoping he would not lose him permanently.
Lancelot knew that his charge was expecting him to intercept them and lead them south. However, he felt that it was much wiser to follow from a discreet distance, so that he could react to any threats that might arise more easily. He would only intervene in their directions as the need arose. He was sure that the young princess would be concerned for her safety, but it couldn't be helped. He finally decided to make a move in closer, fully expecting the young princess, who had been reported to him as having quite an independent streak, to react defensively and she did. "There is no need, Princess, for that. I am Sir Lancelot, and I am the one who has been employed by your parents to escort you south. I have been following you at a discreet distance since you left your castle, an so far we haven't been followed. Do you have any questions before we continue on to Camelot?"

There was almost no air, and all Nimueh could just feel is the hot breeze of the sun. The trees were barely moving, and she saw that no plants are moving at all because there was no wind, while walking alone the woods. To see what's happening next to Camelot. While she was walking along her way, going to the Camelot Village. What she can think is about the news of the Camelot castle. The reason why she tries to go to the village, and ask or converse with other people, is because of her plan. Nimueh is trying to find hints at the village, so that she can proceed to the plan and do it to make revenge on the King of Camelot and ofcourse, to Merlin. At the middle of the forest, she looks for a huge and rock to sit on. Ofcourse, a witch like her also needs rest. In a kind of person like her, she really needs a rest, because resting is the only way to gain more energy. So that she could use her magic better.
She saw a rock, located at the right side of the tree, in front of her. And walked her way, going to the huge rock. Nimueh inhaled some little air, and exhaled it out from her mouth. That technique of hers is her third way on how to be comfortably rested in a certain place. She looked around her, and think if she's already near in the castle. Nimueh looked for a lake around, at where she's sitting, and did not saw anything. The lake is her one and only clue if she's near the castle, it's her hint. While sitting on the rock, she looked for her red small bag of a golden magical dust, used to see the map of Camelot, for her to see the right way. Nimueh thought that she's getting lost because in her past times of heading her way to Camelot castle, is that in this time that she's sitting on the rock. She's supposed to see the lake at this time. And she haven't been tired while going to Camelot castle.
So she held her red small bag of magic dust, and grabbed some golden dust and she sprinkled it from her left side, to her right side. And so as after she spread the dust, a golden air has been made with n oval shape. And there is showed the whole map of Camelot. She looked around the map, and found out that her way was wrong. She smirked, and frowned a little with her angelic face. Nimueh thought that she could just teleport in the castle, but it would be so dangerous for her. People might see her do that, and ofcourse tell the King and the people that she's a witch, and should be burned. So, she stabbed the golden dust infront of her face, and it disappeared. She walked angrily, heading back to where she had her way going to the wrong one. Nimueh noticed that two people were talking in the herselF middle of the woods. So she hurridly looked for a tree or a huge rock atleast to hide in. Nimueh saw a huge tree at her back and left corner. She ran there fast, and hid. Nimueh observed what the two people are talking about, and noticed the man, whom is talking to the girl. The man was Lancelot, the friend of the prince, who was a knight of the Camelot castle. She thought how could they still take the cruel words of the King. The only thing that the King was concerned about was himself. The king was a selfish man, whom is treating his own son, to do what he likes for him to do.

TRAVELLING TOWARDS SAFETY As she held her defensive position Serina saw a man emerge from the bushes. ""There is no need, Princess, for that. I am Sir Lancelot, and I am the one who has been employed by your parents to escort you south. I have been following you at a discreet distance since you left your castle, an so far we haven't been followed. Do you have any questions before we continue on to Camelot?" Lowering her bow Serina place her arrow back in her quiver as it was assured to her that he was definitely not a threat. In fact his job was the complete opposite as this man was the person she had been looking for and his job was it protect and guide her to the safety of a southern kingdom.
Resting her bow in her hands Serina let out a sigh of relief. For the most part of the day she had been oping to find this man and she was glad. The fist reason as she was no longer lost and the second as she would have somebody other her horse Periwinkle to talk to. Turning her horse around to face him Serina allowed a smile to come to her features before she answered the question he had asked her. There is one I would like to know before we reach, Camelot is it?" Serina paused before she continued onto her question. "The ruler of Camelot I'm afraid it's been a while since I have looked upon the names of the rulers of these regions, would you be so kind to inform me of the royalty of this kingdom. Serina asked as she knew it was rather rude to turn up in some one's kingdom asking t stay with them if she didn't know there names.

It was almost that her face has been seen by the two people whom are talking in the middle of the forest. Nimueh really wants to hear what they're talking about. But at where she's hiding, is a little far from where the two people were standing. The girl looked like a princess, the way she dress. And the girl really looked so elegant. While staring at the two people, like she's also beside them. Breeze of how air came right through her face. The breeze was mixed with both element of fire and air. The reason why it was fire is because it's hot. And the air is because of itself. In within the hot breeze, she sensed nor more like had a vision, of that girl, and that sense proved to her that she's really a princess. ''So...You're a princess my friend?'' she said in a whisppering manner. Her hands touches the tree, while the rest of her long purple robe was at her right back, which obviously cannot be seen the the two conversing people.
Nimueh thought of a way on how to blend in because it would look odd if she's just going to stand there, and pretend that she's also lost. And how a great coincidence is that. People would really think and could easily feel that she's not thinking good, nor planning good. Although she really plans to hurt them, she would just blend in for her to gain knowledge about the Kind of Camelot. But she remembered and thought if that girl is really from Camelot castle. Because the room of the castle that she saw in her vision was so different among the rooms of the Camelot castle. Nimueh decided to blend in, and act like she's lost. It would be the only way to have some scoop about what's happening around the castle and the village. Nimueh walked, while staring at the two people. Whens she's near, ''Oh Thank you, i found you people.'' she said, showing her angelic and innocent face. ''Could you help me? Please I need a guide going to the castle.'' she said. Nimueh held her hands, and sighed, looking at the princess with a quiver at her back. And to Lancelot, hoping that he would not recognize her.

Fortunately, as he identified himself, and who had sent him, and what his mission was, she lowered her weapon. The way that she had proficiently and quickly loaded it , and got it into position, he ascertained that this young princess was not unfamiliar with tools of war, or at least the tools of a good defense. Almost as quickly and efficiently as she had brought he bow to bear on him, she removed the arrow and re-inserted her arrow in the quiver. Since he was no longer suffering from her threat, he approached quite close on his Arabian stallion, Sher-fore, and nodded his head approvingly. “I can see that all you really require is a guide, since you seem well-versed in taking care of and defending your own person,” he said with a ready smile.
Despite her initial aggressive stance, it was easy to observe the sigh of relief she gave as soon as she knew he was no longer a threat, but a paid protector. He also saw that she did not have a problem with giving him a ready smile as well. Some nobles believed in lording their position of others, or they would only speak civilly with members of their own class. This one, obviously, had no manufactured barriers that she set up with others. Perhaps the ride would be a pleasant one for conversation as well, he considered. In response to his initial question, apparently she had one in return. “Yes …. yes …. The place is called Camelot ….. the ruler? ……. King Uther Pendragon rules, with his son, the Crown Prince, Arthur. He is good and fair, although sometimes harsh monarch. All-in-all, though, he is a fair man.” Quite a common-sense type of question, he mused to himself. Lancelot was developing a respect for her potential as a leader of her own lands.
Suddenly Sir Lancelot hears a voice, seemingly out of nowhere, just to his left. Instinctively and reflexively he wheels Sher-fore, counterclockwise, placing him between the voice and his charge, the Princess. At the same time as he’s wheeling his horse about, he pulls both o his longswords from their sheaths along his back, ready to chop anyone who might be threatening them. At the very least, he could delay them, while the Princess could slip away. He found though, that is was not a group of bandits he faced, but a single young woman, apparently unarmed. However, he was naturally suspicious. “’You people’ would suggest that you were looking for us in particular, which of course is impossible, since nobody those where we are or our route. And to which castle do you refer? Exactly what is a young pretty thing like you doing out here in the middle of nowhere. I’m afraid that the coincidence that you need a guide, would, at first glance, appear to be a bit too coincidental.” Lancelot had not gotten to his position by being swayed by every pretty face, although it didn’t hurt. She just seemed a little bit too needful, too much like bait being set for a trap. There was something about that angelic face that just wasn’t right. She would have to do a lot better job of convincing if she wanted to take one step closer, without him acting with severe prejudice. After all, he wasn’t a diplomat or a churchman, he was a fighting knight. He wasn’t being paid to talk, but to deed. So he was much more likely to act ad ask questions later. “So …. Explain yourself!”

Nimueh was looking at the princess, thinking how could she be so useful if she's also lost in the middle of nowhere. But inspite of that, she still has her one last chance of getting into the castle, plus additional knowledge about the Camelot Castle, from Lancelot. But while standing there, infront of the two people. She remembered that she might be recognized by Lancelot. Nimueh tries to blend in and act that she's really innocent, for her to be able to succeed. Well, for every person in the world that has his own goal in life, even if it's small or big. You still has to do the greatest thing that you have, in able to be successful. Then, she didn't want to take another one little step closer to the princess, nor Lancelot. The way the young good-looking guy, looked at Nimueh. He seems a little mad. Well, it's really every person's duty to take good care, and make sure that himself is safe. So that nothing bad can happen to him, so she really couldn't blame him.
Nimueh glanced a little to the beautiful looking princess, while Lancelot is talking, and looked back slowly to Lancelot. After what the man said to her. Inside she felt a little mad, and it feels for her that her acting really took all of her heart. One moment, she saw the man on how he looked at her. It seems like the man was a little fascinated to her beauty. ''It would be all so easy, this man is a little fascinated to me...'' she thought. Nimueh lookd innocently to Lancelot. ''Such things in the world, can happen everytime...Even though it's coincident.'' she said. ''There's many more things in the world that you think is impossible to believe...But inspite of that, it's real..'' she said to the man, with a mysterious look.

Lancelot could see that this woman was looking over them both, he and the Princess, quite carefully, almost analytically, even after all that he had said and questioned. Her first priority seemed to be the Princess, even though, he assumed, that he presented the greatest threat and obstacle to what she was planning on. But was he simply being too suspicious? She was undoubtedly and exceedingly beautiful. He could tell that even with her person wrapped in her clothing and the outer-garments that would be there to protect her from the elements, and the rain. but no, his job was to escort and to protect the Princess on her journey to Camelot, and to leave her in the care of whoever had been provided to watch over her there. It was his job to be suspicious of everyone and everything. He knew that there were not only agents of another kingdom to watch out for, but bandits, as well as withes and sorcerers. He was familiar with this territory, and knew the stories. and of course was familiar with Merlin, the boy wizard
He saw now, that as he expected, her attention, whoever ad whatever she was, would turn back toward him and his questions. He thought, he saw, for just an instant, a wisp o anger in her eyes, but, just as quickly, it was gone. She responded, and he thought, as he expected she would say, all innocent coincidence. "Yes, it could be all happy coincidence, as you say. But what is pretty young thing such as yourself out in the middle of a dark and desolate forest, unless other plans are afoot,"] and he quickly looked both to his right and left to make sure she didn't have any allies lying in wait. "What do you mean by that," he asked, noting the strange look in her eyes.
*I apologize if done out of turn, but Nimueh seemed to be directed more at Lance than the Princess, and didn't want too much time to pass*

TRAVELLING TOWARDS SAFETY Once Serina had replaced her weapons the man before her known as Sir Lancelot urged his horse closer. “I can see that all you really require is a guide, since you seem well-versed in taking care of and defending your own person,” At the compliment Serina's smile widen which was a kind of a natural relax for the princess as when she was complimented in kind ways, it was one of the only things that she was sure she would do. "Yes it is a fact that I have been trained in the weapon of war. It's are people's tradition to train any royalty n the arts of attack and defense." Serina told him as she knew not all kingdom's approved of training women in the arts of battle as they believe that they are not strong enough. Though in her kingdom it was believed to be a right of passage for any of royalty, and nobility if they so wished.
“Yes …. yes …. The place is called Camelot ….. the ruler? ……. King Uther Pendragon rules, with his son, the Crown Prince, Arthur. He is good and fair, although sometimes harsh monarch. All-in-all, though, he is a fair man.” Serina nodded as she know remembered the man her father didn't really have any connection to the kingdom of Camelot but she did know that they both had different view on magic and sorcery. "Arr... yes I do recall the name Pendragon. My father told me I should remember that not everybody has the same views on magic as we do. I suppose I might not let on that we have nothing against them in case it leads him astray to think that I myself hold magic when I'm far from it." Serina said as she knew how pig headed men could be, especially men that held power.
But it was then that someone emerged from the forest's depths. ''Could you help me? Please I need a guide going to the castle.'' The women seemed lost and desperate for help. But as sh began conversing with Lancelot, Serina began to think she wasn't so helpless. The way she talked seemed quite knowledgeable, especially when she was explaining that their was many more far fetched coincidences then this. But she could be simply good at see things from different views so Serina didn't really think much of it. "Lancelot I don't believe she posses as a threat. And besides didn't you say yourself tat I didn't really need a protector and just a guide." Serina said as she was weary from travelling and was looking forward to a nice long rest from travelling. So she felt the sooner they got to Camelot the better.

After what the good looking princess said about Nimueh, that she doesn't look that she's really helpless. Nimueh thought to herself that she'd better act like she's so helpless. It's just she cannot just stand at people whom is talking something a little bad about her. Like Lancelot threating her, with a mad voice of him. So she wanted to prove to Lancelot that she cannot be defeated, nor in words, especially if it's physive upical fight. Nimueh doesn't likes to loose. If there are times that she looses. She won't give up, not unless her enemy has given up first. Nimueh is not that kind of person, that lets people do such things to her. She still has her rights to live.
Until the princess said that she still doesn't have to be threated by the man, Lancelot. Nimueh raised her right eye brow, looking at the princess. ''Impressive...My plan almost worked.'' she thought. One moment, her patience had turned over. ''Are we going to the castle of Camelot? Perhaps I can join you two in going to the palace.'' she said, with her soft warm voice. Nimueh walked forward, and took both of her hands off. ''We better go...I mean, we can't just stand here and have a conversation Ma'am and Sir.'' she said. ''It's okay for me to walk while you two are riding in your horses? If you don't like me...Well, it's not my fault. And all I just want is to have the way through Camelot Castle...'' she said.

Lancelot had glanced back at Serina to see what her reaction was to his words. He wondered if she would just accept them in silence, or if she would have some kind of verbal response. He was happy to see a smile grace her face. He was not a noble by birth, at least not an English one. Nobles, he had found could be quite unpredictable in how they reacted to things. She, pleasantly had reacted with a broad smile. She responded not only with the understanding words, but with an explanation of her experience wit weapons that he had inferred. "Different places have different traditions, both in respect to training with articles of war, as well as the expectations of both the women and men who lead their kingdoms. It is not for me to judge others, just as I don't think others should judge me," he said with a nod of deference to the lady.
He noticed that she seemed to accept his explanation of the leadership of the kingdom that she was traveling to quite well. he assumed by what she had said that the decision for flight for her had come somewhat quickly. He did think it strange, though, that her parents did not even tell her very much bout where she was going, especially the rulers she would be dealing with. "Yes ... it is the Pendragon's. I'm not sure about Arthur, but I know the negative view that King Uther has toward those who practice magic. He has a zero tolerance policy towards it in his kingdom. It is a wise policy not to assume that others have the same view as we do. I, myself, am not opposed to the idea of magic. I think its tool, one that can be used for good or evil, but is not evil of its own accord. That's good to hear ..... I would hate to wonder if you were going to cast a spell on me," he laughed.
The woman, or what Lancelot took as a woman, had then emerged from the forest. He, of course, had been immediately suspicious, but in gauging Sarina's response he though that she was much more accepting of her explanation. He wondered if she was being a bit too open-minded, given their vulnerable position, or if he was just too suspicious. "I think that, for you to expect us to trust you or your words, you might give the both of us the courtesy of knowing who we are dealing with. What is your name, and where are you from, as well as an explanation for your appearance in this place."
"I am Sir Lancelot of Huntingdon, and I am escorting this young lady to the south ..... Camelot if you wish," he said not wanting to confirm their final destination. Hearing the words of Serina, he turned and reluctantly agreed. "Very well .... perhaps you are right ..... lets move quickly on then. Since we have horses and you do not, would you care to ride on Sher-fore, with me?" Lancelot was not particularly happy with this situation, but he knew they needed to move quickly, so that he could deliver the Princess safely and quickly. "What is so important about you reaching the castle, and why would you be allowed in," he asked suspiciously while still being taken with her beauty, though the Princess was no slouch herself.

Nimueh smiled to both of the princess, and Lancelot, the knight of the king. Nimueh was kind of a little fascinated to the handsome man's look. She rememered sometime, when she's still serving as a personal witch of King Uther of Camelot Castle. She, was once, had a little fallen in loved with Lancelot. But because of what happened to the connection of her and the King, the that has been broken. She was took out of the castle, and there she starts to live like one of the normal people in Camelot. The King didn't know that when they treated her like she doesn't have to live. She managed herself to think of a plan to make revenge on the King, and of course, Gauis. Who managed to betray her. Until her thinking is over, and Lancelot asked something about her. "I think that, for you to expect us to trust you or your words, you might give the both of us the courtesy of knowing who we are dealing with. What is your name, and where are you from, as well as an explanation for your appearance in this place." the man said.
Nimueh thought of something, and that something is to not to be so open to what just people ask to her. When she was about to answer all of Lancelot's questions. Lancelot managed to say to her if she would liked to ride on the brown-haired soil colored horse. For them to move quickly. Nimueh thought that maybe when they're just riding on the horse, would be the time to answer all of his questions and demands. ''That would be nice...'' she said to the man. Nimueh took her step carefully, while trying to sit on the horse's back. When she was already comfortable sat down on the horse. She looked at the man and the princess, and gave them an angel smile. Besides giving people with an angelic smile, would make all of their thoughts and bad thoughts vanish.
Nimueh thought that maybe it's time to answer Lancelot's questions. Now that she's already with him, and about to be at the castle not too long. Until the man said his name. As the answer for the questions and demands. ''Well, sir...Actually, I was lost, and had gotten in the wrong way. Now I'm afraid to be lost again, because it would take my energy loose to much weight. And I cannot stand that.'' she said. Nimueh was looking down on her hands, blinking with her long eye lashes. ''I'm afraid that someone might see me here, all alone...And might do something evil to me.'' she said. That was a complete truth, about the first phrase. But the second sentence she said isn't really quite true. ''I was about to go to the castle, not to mean inside the castle, but near the castle. Because I have a friend, whom I need to talk to...'' she said. ''By the way sir, I'm....'' she said, and stopped because she remembered that she must not tell her real name. Lancelot might remember her. ''Aliza...Aliza Rozessette...'' she said, and then smiled.

Despite all of his suspicions, and accusations, and demand for information, the primary thing he gets from this woman is her dazzling angelic smile. He was not sure what effect it had on the princess, but through both the words of Serina, and the effects from this woman, he relented and offered her a ride behind him on his horse. She did have a mesmerizing effect, that was sure, and he did his best to shake it of. Perhaps, riding behind him, the vision will have less of an effect, he thought to himself. There was something about her, he thought to himself, that did not seem quite right. perhaps there was a question that he had not asked. he didn't know, but it bothered him a great deal. He didn't like surprises or unanswered questions.
He wondered, though, almost immediately, if that was a wise offer to make. Having an unknown, and perhaps untrustworthy person, at his back, could make him vulnerable to an attack. However, he had already made the offer, and he was an honourable knight, just not a Knight of Camelot, and he could not, therefore, take it back. Beside she had so quickly accepted it, there was nothing that he could have done. "You are quite welcome ....... its the least I could have done ..... er ...... milady." He saw her carefully climb up ... it seemed she was not that familiar with riding horses ..... "Strange," he said to himself. He turned his head to see if she was settled and she gave him that angelic smile again, but it was so close, and he could smell her scent, that it was even more overpowering, and he quickly turned around. Suddenly, though, he asked himself why they had been hesitant to invite her in the first place, and he shrugged his shoulders, feeling her warmth on his back.
As they rode, she began to answer his original questions, although,he himself had little memory about exactly what they had been. All of her explanations made perfect sense now, but he didn't know exactly why. "Who is your fiend, perhaps i know them. Do you know where you are to be meeting them at. Perhaps we can drop you off as we approach the castle. Aliza ...... Aliza ..... that's quite a beautiful name."

The wind was already running a little mild. And looks like after she sat on the horse, with the knight of the king, Lancelot. She saw butterflies at her right corner. It was quiet weird because the last time she went there, and before reaching the two people's sides. Butterflies weren't there. The last time when Nimueh saw butterflies is before she knew that she's inloved with Lancelot, when she's still working with the King of Camelot, Uther, as his personal witch. Nimueh thought about that, and was a little shocked, with her eyes had widened a little. Could these butterflies means that she had fallen in loved with Lancelot? Nimueh thought about Lancelot, and the only one who could have catched her heart again, and this weird and strange butterflies, that brought her happiness inside before is attacking her hard heart, that made it soft.
Until she popped up into the reality she's really in. ''No way...It can't be...i have a plan, and that musn't be broken!'' she thought, with a little might in her head. She looked at Lancelot, and felt that feeling that she really couldn't resist him. Nimueh smiled at the handsome looking man. "You are quite welcome ....... its the least I could have done ..... er ...... milady." she remembered, that the man had said. ''Oh Thank you again for letting me ride with you...'' she said, with her soft voice. When she looked at the man again, she noticed that the man was really kind of fascinated to her beauty. ''Why are you looking like that at me, Sir?'' she asked, with her angelic look, in the eyes of Lancelot. While she was sitting comfortably on the back of the horse. She heard the man said, "Who is your fiend, perhaps i know them. Do you know where you are to be meeting them at. Perhaps we can drop you off as we approach the castle. Aliza ...... Aliza ..... that's quite a beautiful name.". ''Oh you don't know her...She's really a quiet and shy woman...And Thank you for saying that my name is beautiful.'' she said. Nimueh can feel the admiration the knight of the King. She smiled and little.
