"If he tries any such thing Merlin, I want you to come and see me," Morgana replied, though her face was split with a smile. As annoyed as Arthur might be, she didn't want him taking his childish inability to cope well with being bedridden out on poor Merlin. Especially not when Merlin had been working his behind off with Gaius to try and find a way to help the Prince in the first place.

Morgana was a little wary when Merlin spoke suddenly. Those words rarely boded well. At least, that was what she had found in her experience. However she was pleasantly surprised when he continued. She knew how Merlin felt. These past few days had been hard on them all, and even she was thankful to have someone to talk to in Merlin. Her face softened a tad and she smiled.

"I am glad I could return the favour Merlin," Morgana replied honestly. Merlin had done the same for her, even just now, so she was happy she could do the same for him in some way. "And I mean it. If Arthur tries to give you any trouble over not being around, I will handle him. Dont worry about him. Just focus on making sure your mother is alright." Arthur she could handle, and she hoped he would understand when or if she explained to him exactly why Merlin had been absent. He had been caring for his ill mother, as well as Arthur. He shouldn't be punished for that.
