::vaughn:: It seemed to be more common for women to act more bold and aggressive, rather than timid and shy. Vaughn did not know what to make of this, other than to find it oddly amusing. When she casually changed the subject away from her parents, Vaughn was not so quick to let it go. Was it because he was compassionate? No. It was all curiosity. "How were they murdered?" He asked, his voice completely emotionless and a bit mono tone. "It must have been rather traumatic if it forced you to live in the woods for your entire life." He was not concerned for her, nor did he feel sympathetic. He was merely trying to draw more information about the subject. After all, dead parents seemed to be a sore spot for most. And if it was not, it was interesting to see how people reacted to such a subject.
Cain. From looking like a Vladimir to looking like a Cain. Where did these people come up with these names from? "You can call me whatever you like," he said in a suggestive and flirtatious way before putting his, or her rather, dagger back in his pocket. "And why did he do that?" He asked referring to why the dog had killed the other. "I suppose you have tried dog meat after all," he said, implying that that was why they probably killed the animal; for food.
And the she asked him a question. One he was not about to answer. "I can tell you what kept me in the forest," he began to tell her. "I saw a rather alluring woman bathing in the stream and felt the necessity to converse with her." Obviously, he was referring to her. Otherwise, he really had no purpose for being in the woods other than continuing his endless and purposeless journey of life.

She narrowed her eyes slightly givving them a mor angry feline look to them. He really wasnt letting it go now was he? "If you really want to know then ask the king, or better yet his knights they would be more than willing to relay what they did." Kazira stated with a half tone. To others it sounded as if she was making up a story but she wasnt. "On second thought," she stated the back of her neck. "I'll give you a bit of information. I walked away from my camp to the river only to return and see them slaughtered like cattle." She let a small smirk on them. "In a way I have a new understanding of how cows feel when members of their families are killed." Moros nudgered her hand and she gave him a pat. Kazira watched as 'Cain' put away her dagger and pouted. 'Was he ever going to give it back or better yet' she thought absently 'when is he going to hand over my pants?'
She looked up from the ground she had been staring at and answered him. "Because it was attacking me for no reason. At least none that I could see." She grew somber at the thought but it passed just as quickly as it came. "And I wasnt about to waste something that could be to good use." She stated with a shrug. The dog had actually been part of the original pack that Moros had been apart of before he was left to die. It had been a young pup but it knew the stories and grew angry upon seeing that her friend was alive and decided to attack her to get back at him for whatever the true reason was. The still had the fangs and claws tucked away on a necklace. She was going to put it on the her families gravesight. Deciding that she wanted to flirt and have a bit of fun she walked up to him and placed a kiss on the corner of his mouth. "Anything that I want?" She stated in a low seductive voice. She wanted to laugh so bad but she held it in. She was having fun despite what she looked like on the outside. She didnt let it escape her notice that he avoided her question and wasnt about to drop it but decided to let everything play out. "Hmm, yes, well, now that I know what kept you here." She stated tracing the curves of his armor. "What brought you here?" She let out a breathy laugh. "Trust me anything you tell me will not be the worst that I've heard." She paused. "Are you planning to kid-nap someone?" She asked somewhat randomly. 'not quite sure where that came form?' She thought idly.

::vaughn:: Her first comment led him to believe that she was bitter about something. That would not be a first. Many people were bitter towards the king and royal army of Camelot. Those with magic anyway. Hmm. Did she possess some sort of magical ability then? Or if she did not, then continuing to listen to her also suggested that her family may have been wrongly accused for they would not be the first in that case either. Was Vaughn sympathetic to this? Not at all. He was not the compassionate type who would offer words of consolation or give condolence over her loss. He truly could not care less for he had shown his own disregard for his family in the past, so even if they were murdered in front of him, he would just stand and possibly laugh.
"Bitterness does not suit such a gorgeous woman," he said, chuckling a bit despite her revelation of the what had clearly been a traumatic experience for her. "Now why would they kill your family in such a way? Would it be perhaps because you were all practitioners of magic. Or maybe you broke the law in some other way," he suggested, trying to determine if she had magic in her or whether she was just even more bitter because they did not and were wrongly killed. "You seem to be a frequent target for violent attacks. It is a wonder you've survived this long." He said teasingly, as he believed there was some truth to his words.
There was hardly anything that surprised Vaughn in life. Now that did not mean that he expected everything for her next actions were in fact rather unexpected by him. Not in a bad way of course. How would a kiss from a random woman ever be an unpleasant surprise? Of course, it did mean that she perhaps did not regard him as a threat which was a bit disappointing to Vaughn...but if he could his way in another manner, then it would be worth it. He gave half a smile, a smirk still evident on his face. He kept his eyes locked on her while he felt her trace the armor he wore. "What if I were to say that I was here to kidnap you." He was not, obviously. But he was just entertaining the idea. Though he had kidnapped those in the past, she was not a target. He leaned in a bit, as if about to kiss her, but paused when they were barley an inch apart. "You seem to be in odd comforts with a man you do not know."

"Hmmm yes, I guess bitterness doesnt suit anyone anymore," kazira stated absently. She wasnt stupid she had heard the slight undertones of sarcasm in his voice he didnt actually care he was digging for information about something but she didnt really care it wasnt like they knew eachother very well in the first place. But when he asked about why her family was killed and if they were killed because they brok a law or if they were practitioners of magic she couldnt help but laugh. She leaned her forhead against his chest and continued to giggle. "What do you think?" She asked between her laughs. The smile that was still on her face didnt fade with what he said next." Yes, I do have my fair share of attacks and I am kind of surprised that I have lived this long without many scars. But I'm no slouch of a fighter." She paused before continueing. "Granted I'm not as good as twit that I know but I'm decent enough to hold my own in battle and come out alive." she stated. In her line of work one had to be a decent enough fighter otherwise they would end up dead. Especially if the one who hired you, more paticularly they hired you to kill one of their enemies or injure him enough that he couldnt continue.
"If you were here to kidnap Me then you would have done so at the river when I wasnt dressed and practically defenseless." She stated with a care free smile. She lifted her head and held back a small gasp she wasnt expecting his face to be so close to hers. She could feel his breahe flutter across her lips as she answered his last question. "I havent been given a true reason to kill you yet. And I've just learned that though you could have probably killed me at the river but not just that. i've learned that you are just a lecherous peeping tom."
While she was talking she moved her hand around to his pocket and carefully withdrew her dagger from said pocket. In all honesty she could have cared less about her pants; he could keeps those as long as his little heart desires she just wanted her dagger back. That dagger was a present from her parents (one of the few things that they were able to give her).
Moros watched on with intrest but he couldnt help but roll his eyes. The two were acting like curious pups rather than the grown humans that they supposedly were. He still didnt trust the man or even like him. Especially not now that he was that close to his friend. He wasnt to thrilled with Kazira at the moment seeing as how she kissed him. He growled lowly with irritation he was not happy at how familiar the man was acting with his friend. He wasnt sure how this whole thing was going to turn out.

::vaughn:: Vaughn smirked when she started laughing over the matter of the death of her parents. "I did not realize you found the subject so amusing," he said mockingly. Apparently, he was not the only one who found the issue of death an amusing one. People were growing more and more morbid as time went on. Who would have thought. Perhaps at some point, he would not be a rarity anymore. People would find morbidity and vulgarity humorous. Oh well. In the meantime, he would enjoy being unique. "I am going to say that they were. Or that they committed treason in some other way." Vaughn did not truly care. It was all a matter of curiosity. "Not many scars," he questioned, still smirking. "Would you care to show me which scars you do have," he suggested in a bit of a perverted manner.
He was as he had guessed. He supposed one would have to be, if they were forced to raise themselves and live in such dangerous times. Hmm. It would be interesting to see her fight in a battle, but he would not be the one to challenge her. There was no need to. Not when he was enjoying the flirtations far too much. "Perhaps not," he suggested when she said that he would have chosen a previous time if he intended to kidnap her. "Perhaps it was my goal to lure you out of the water, to see if anyone else was nearby and to test any protectors you may have." He was really not planning to take her. He did not think he would get anything from it other than a chunk of removed flesh from her canine companion. "Are you not still defenseless. Apart from your growling friend there," he said referring to the dog.
Contrary to popular belief, Vaughn was no idiot. Part of his strengths was analyzing body movement, and the way a person said something. It was after all how he received much of his ammo against people. Feeling her hand reach for his pocket, he kept his gaze focused on her, but grabbed her wrist. "Now now," he said in a teasing, playful manner. "We have not yet discussed what I will be getting in return for your dagger." Yet again, he was being suggestive, as if he was expecting more from her. Something only a woman could give. A young, attractive woman at that.

"I doubt you would like to see my scars." She stated off handedly. "Not many would care. They're not all that spectacular." She let out a small laugh but didnt say anymore than that and listened to his words. She thought back to her parents. "You are right though. They were practitioners of the Old religion." She turned icy blue eyes towards him. "Not that you care in the slightest right? As long as nothing of the sort was directed at you?" She didnt know this for a fact but taking a shot in the dark sometimes paid off in the end.
She held back another laugh as he asked, or rather stated, that she was still defenseless other than Moros. She was far from being a damsel in distress or even anything near that. She wasnt stupid and knew how to effect and use what femiinity that she did have to her advantage. She also had her powers. While she still said spells she didnt have to say them out loud; she could say them in a hushed whisper and they were still able to effect things. The only thing that she didnt need to say a spell for was her nature magic for... It literally came naturally. "Hmmm, am I truly as defenseless as you think I am?" She wondered what he would do if she froze him or even burnt him.
She wasnt happy that he caught on to what she was doing. She knew he wasnt stupid but that didnt make her feel better she just wanted the damn dagger. She tugged at her wrist and growled quite impressivley for a human to do. maybe it was all of the time spent with moros that allowed her to be able to accomplish that feet...She wasnt sure. "You never told me what you wanted." she stated blandly. Kazira really wanted to burn his hand but held off to see what his answer would be.

::vaughn:: At her first phrase, Vaughn just smirked. Really. That was just too much of an opening. "On the contrary, I would love to see your scars. Wherever they may be." That was meant to sound just as perverted as anyone could take it. He had already seen her in her state of undress, though only partially, so why not see whatever scars she had as well. Of course, with comments such as these, Vaughn had no expectations that people, particularly women, would be so willing to adhere to them. It was what amused him so much about saying them. It was not because he cared about her injuries either. It was just because she was an attractive women and what man would not want to take advantage of this. In unforced ways that is.
"If they are on a figure as exquisite as yours, then I am certain they are no less than spectacular." Again, a sleazy comment meant to make her uncomfortable, or well, considering how she seemed to be acting around him, it was possible that she would have the opposite reaction and continue to humor and tease him. Either way, Vaughn was satisfied.
The Old Religion. Vaughn had no opinion of it really. Banned or permitted, he had not issues either way. He was completely indifferent. The only way it would catch his attention was if he was a victim of sorcery, but even then, he did not fear it. It was just something that made one day less predictable than the last. "I would be careful of who you admit that to. For all you know, I am a spy for a king who has outlawed magic." He was not. Obviously. But he was just entertaining the idea. "In which case, I would have a great interest in such things." He did not though. Obviously. He could not care less in fact, but that was not how he made it sound of course as an amused expression remained firmly in place.
Was that really a question. He chuckled at it. "Now what would you be implying. That your strength somehow miraculously outweighs mine. Or that perhaps you have another weapon hidden in that, spectacular clothed body of yours." As he said this his eyes scanned her body, slowly starting from the top, making their way intricately downwards before they moved up to meet her eyes again. He also, just for the sheer fun of it, emphasized the word spectacular, using the same description she had. As for her last question, he ignored it completely.

"Oh yes you absolutely look like a spy for Uther." Kazira stated om a deadpanned voice. "I've known drunks who can make a lie better than that one." She couldn't help but roll her eyes. Really, she had her father spoke to her about the kind of man that Uther was. And while times were harder she doubted he would hire someone like the man before her. He did have some honor despite how much she didn't like the way he was prosecuting her people.
She scrunched up her nose at him. He had ignored her... Again! She didnt so much as care about the comments he made about her body. After several moments of being in his presence it became apparent that he did it just for kicks. An idea formed in her mind while she wanted to burn his hand. Why not use her magic for more entertaining purposes. it was a good thing though that she had changed into her corset however 'indecent' it was. She moved closer to him, his hand still holding her wrist. "You know you could see my 'spectacular' body if you just untied my corset." She stated simply releasing the dagger and pulling her wrist and his hand to her mouth placing soft kisses onto his knuckles."You could also see if i had any other weapons hidden on me." She stated flirtatiously.
She knew what she was doing...hopefully. She really didnt have a plan but her instincts were telling her that this man no matter how vile he would act wouldnt force himself on her. if that was what he wanted then he would have done it earlier at the lake when she didnt have her weapons or Moros. With this little act she was doing she couldnt help but thank the gods around that the man was at least a little bit attractive. Moros watched from the sidelines as Kazira was putting her acting skills to work and growled lowly he was getting very tired of her acting like a woman from a brothel! She was shamelessly flirting and that was not the kazira that he had come to know. He calmed himself maybe he was just over reacting.

::vaughn:: Vaughn could not help but chuckle at her words and actions. "You should not tempt men with such dangerous words," he warned her, though he cared not for her past or future encounters with other men. It was not a warning, merely a statement. For there were men out there who's minds would not be able to withhold them from giving in to such temptation, whether she complied to it or not. It was only lucky for her that Vaughn was no such man. Of course, that did not mean he would not keep up in his attempt to annoy her, or rather, find humor in this entire situation for himself. "If you do not see me as a guard, then what if I was a rapist." The word had come from his lips so smoothly and casually, holding almost a threatening air to it.
When she began to lightly kiss his hand, his expression continued to remain in a smirk. Oh how utterly entertaining this woman was. How easy it seemed to be for her to offer herself to him. Clearly, this was not her first time. He raised his other hand, cupping her chin as he slightly tilted her head upwards, as if inspecting her face. Once his gaze trailed over every facial feature, his eyes began to trail down her body and back up to to meet her eyes. He leaned in, as if to kiss her and paused when their lips were only inches apart. "Do you consent then." He asked in a deep voice, not caring about the answer, for he hardly cared about the action. All he wanted to see was how far she would go.

Kazira began to look around after he finished his sentence. She moved his arm up and over before looking towards Moros with a confused look but also a playful glint. "You say men but all I see is a boy." She stated in a confused tone not letting anything but confusion grace her features. She knew that with that phrase she could get herself into some trouble hopefully his sense of humor was still in tact. "Besides if you were a rapist wouldn't you want your 'prey' weak and defenseless?" She wondered aloud, "I would have taken action when we were over at the river its an easy place to do it and no one would hear a thing." She continued to act oblivious. it was a far cry from the little act she was trying to put on earlier but she was becoming bored and all this man did was annoy her to no end!
She rubbed her cheek over his knuckles with a smile. She had to say that he was very warm. Of course most humans were warm but it was different. She felt his hand under her chin raising it up and fought the blush that wanted to over come her face keeping it hidden from the man before her. She watched his eyes rake down over her features before focusing on her eyes once more. Did she consent? At this point she wasn't sure. "You see you arent a rapist my dear friend." She stated using the term dear very loosely. "they dont ask for consent." She let a smirk grace her lips not noticing that she dodged his question.

::vaughn:: Good god she talked a lot. "You act as if you do not fit the qualities of a victim," he said mockingly. She seemed to try and rationalize that he was not a rapist, which really only amused him. He had been throwing out words and she seemed to try and logically dismiss the idea. Who knew that such a word would call for so much explanation from her. "And who would hear you now? I could easily have my way with you if I so wished." It was not a challenge, nor was it a dare. It was a statement. Though he would obviously not do so. There was no fun in threatening another when one made good on their threat. It took the fun all out of it. Despite using the suggestion of a rapist, she continued to stroke her cheek with his hand, as he found the effect rather arousing. And who would not. She was an attractive woman. And he was a man. It was as simple as that.
"Are you going to make me ask twice?" he asked, not oblivious to her clever dodge of his question. "A rapist may just be an impatient man, unable to wait for his victim to properly answer the question." He planned for nothing, but with their current state, well, it left quite a bit of room for possibility. He still remained close to her, not yet fully closing the distance between them but simply entertaining the idea that he may just do so. He never planned for anything, just as he never planned to engage in such a long conversation with this woman.

She smiled a cheeky smile at him. "That's because i dont." She stated easily. "I have some form of protection that most girls dont." She laughed softly. She knew that she was talking more that she had ben earlier but it was mainly because she wanted to distract him from his earlier question of if she consented. She hadnt wanted to take it that far but maybe she had been laying it on a little thick? Oh well. "I highly doubt that you would force me." She stated. "No matter how evil you may seem."
She had no idea what she was basing her information on but it wasnt something that she was trying to do lightly. She unconsciously moved closer to him seeking the warmth that came from his body. Her hair was curling from being dried in the air without a brush. Her bangs fell in her eyes and she flipped her head and allowed them to fall back to their original place. One thing that she was glad for was the fact that she was wearing many layers."Ask what?" She asked innocently trying to avoid what they were talking about. Kazira let her eyes wander over the man before him since he was so close. "I wonder what he is hiding behind his armor?" She asked herself

::vaughn:: Protection. Now what was she referring to, her beast of a dog? He did not ask for he did not wish to divert the subject from what he was trying to focus the conversation on. She seemed to be doing a well enough job of that. But it was not so easy for him to forget, despite her attempt to appear innocent and genuinely curious. "Now what would you be basing your certainty on?" He questioned when she stated that she was highly doubtful that he would rape her. "I did steal your pants after all. Maybe that was the first step." As if it was even possible, he leaned in even closer. "Maybe this is right where I wanted you." While it was a rather appealing position, he had planned for nothing. He never did. Things had just worked out remarkably well.
When she flipped her hair, Vaughn decided he would help with that, tucking a lock of it behind her. Had this been his first action, perhaps it would have been percieved as innocent and almost sweet. But he had made it seem as if his intentions were anything but innocent and sweet. So his act was not intended to be caring and pleasantly intimate. He was not blind to the way she looked at him either, and this only made him chuckle once more, an amused smile dancing on his lips. "It seems that your in-tact virtue has left you, curious." He did not know if she still had her virtue. He was merely making a perverted comment, taking into account the way she looked over him, as if inspecting him. It did not matter if her gaze had been purely innocent. What did matter is how she encouraged him. Teased him. And now, looked at him. If she was uneasy about this, then she was doing a rather good job of hiding it.

"I make no certainties." She stated easily. "I've had my friends steal my clothing before. So that is nothing new to me." She stated easily as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "If i had know you wanted my clothing so bad i wouldn't have made such a fuss" She teased. She smirked at him as he leaned even closer to her. "How is that even possible?" She thought "Not even the air can get between us it seems." She looked up at him a fluttered her lashes."I highly doubt that you make any plans," she started. "You seem like a man who takes action rather than planning." She finished with an wave of her free hand.
She continued to peruse over his figure. "Why does everyone have to be so much taller than me?" She pouted slightly. Sh felt his hand move her bangs back to their original place and would have found the notion sweet if he wasn't talking about being a rapist and whatnot before hand. Didn't he know that that was a fairly big mood killer? She fought another blush that wanted to fight its way to her cheeks. She was not going to show him how nervous he was making her. She placed her other hand onto his armor and traced the contours of it distractingly. "I am merely curious as to what lies behind all of this bulky armor? Is it the man you claim to be or the boy that wants to be the man?" She asked in a soft voice tilting her head her Irish accent thickening ever so slightly with her words. Her cheek was still pressed against his hand as her finger traced circles over the back of it.
She had no idea why she was doing this except that she wanted her dagger back. But maybe she was going a bit to far? She idly wondered if there was something that she was missing? Even if she was she couldnt quite put her finger on it with her mind being slightly fogged over.

::vaughn:: Hmm. Others had stolen her clothing. Well it certainly did not sound like she was as virtuous as he was suggesting. She seemed all too used to being in the company of a stranger, making advances. It was either incredibly stupid, or something she was extremely experienced in doing. "You make far too many assumptions." He was speaking in response to what kind of man he 'seemed' to her. Now that in his opinion, was incredibly stupid. "Which is not at all wise." Especially when it came to strangers who stole clothing and weapons. "You assume I am not a spy. You assume I am not a rapist. You assume I do not plan." He slightly shook his head in a bit of a 'tsk tsk' manner. "Never assume anything, for you never know what someone is truly capable of." It was not advice to help her through life. He said it as bluntly as if it were fact.
He kept smirking as her hand traced his armor. He was going to push this. He was going to see how far she was going to go. "There is only one way to find out." Surely, she knew what exactly he meant by that. He moved his head a very little bit back, tilting it slightly to the side. "It depends on how strong this curiosity is of yours." He had no qualms with things escalating. If she was bluffing, then it would be up to her to break her bluff. Either way, such interactions had proven to be very entertaining to the nomadic knight.

Kazira just shrugged her shoulders. It wasnt the first time she had been told that and it certainly would never be the last. btu despite what people say she was able to read people.Unless she was a woman of true worth there was really no point in pursuing her unless she was was the one to attack him or something of that nature. It was quite obvious to Kazira that he did plan but this little escapade was not planned out. He seemed to just be going with the flow of things. besides what would be the point of planning anything with her? of all people? The little mercenary who cant keep her big mouth shut or her weapon in her hand (apparently.)? "I've been told that many a time in my life and you are surely not going to be the last person to have told me so." She stated flippantly."I am only human. Humans assume a lot of things upon first glance." She paused before smiling and turning from him to look at Moros who gave her a confused look.
What are you doing Kazira? You are contradicting yourself... She scratched behind his ear. She knew she was contradicting herself and her attitude changed but she was actually having fun with the little banter they were having; so why not drag it out? "But i have to wonder. If you did plan this to rape me or something of the sort then why me? You seem to have an eye for bigger prizes than a little woman alone in the woods. You could be stealing from kings or better yet kidnapping the king for ransom. Why belittle what skills you supposedly have by picking on someone so..."She pasued as if thinking of the words. "Insignificant?"
She watched his movement carefully. That smirk of his though was getting on her nerves and she wanted to wipe it of his handsome face. Maybe even throw him into the river for good measure. It was taunting-- no daring her to do something. She was slightly hesitant to do so since if she did who know what could happen. But she didnt let her insecurity show. And then that little....She couldnt even think of what to call him other than an imp! She gave a little smirk of her own and moved away from him a little. "Well then. Will you help me take it off?" She asked sweetly mentally kicking herself in the butt a hundred times over...What was she thinking? All of this for a dagger?
Moros looked at his friend almost slack jawed...She had to have lost her mind on ther way back to camp because she had just said something he never would have thought that she would have said....at least not to someone who she didnt know!? A friend or family member? Yes. A Stranger? What in the world was she thinking!?!?

If she had been told that many times, then clearly there was a flaw in it. One that he had already acknowledged and perhaps to with the contradiction it presented. "It is a mistake," he said, not using the logic of her generalization. "For you know nothing of what a person is capable of." And soon enough, he would show her. Her next statement was the perfect proof of his point. "That is where you are massively mistaken," he said with a smug grin. It had never been in his nature to kidnap a king. That had all been Alistair's suggestion, and one that Vaughn had gone along with for the fun. But Alistair was the man who planned, Vaughn was the one who got the dirty work done. "It shows how little you know about me. How little you know about my preferences of how I spend my time."
The ransom ploy had been profitable, but unnecessary for Vaughn. It had been the fun of it all that made him want to do it. "Besides, why spend time with a king, when it is a ravishing woman such as yourself, who can truly fulfill my desires and pleasures." And right now, it was her. If she was going to encourage him, he was going to push it until she broke. Or until things escalated to the next level. Either way, it worked in his favor. "No beauty such as the kind you possess makes you, insignificant." His words were not meant as a compliment; for Vaughn hardly ever gave compliments to anyone. It was merely giving credit where credit was due. Why deny what was fact in that her appearance could easily entice and attract a man.
When she then smirked and asked him if he would help her remove it, he was all the more intriuged. And all the more ready to continue whatever this little game they were playing was. "I can help you remove your own clothing," he offered, a pleased and almost eager smile on his lips. "But you will have to remove my armor. For it involves reaching at various angles that I can not very well reach on my own." Again, there was a strong suggestiveness in his voice. But then again, how could this conversation be anything but suggestive? He leaned forward again, as if about to kiss her but paused mere inches between their lips. "Unless you need some encouragement." Such as a kiss. "Or unless you are afraid." Which was again, quite possible. And it all when back to calling her own bluff.
