.:Portrayed by: Olga Kurylenko.
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ | .:Personality: Kazira can be both loud and quiet depending on her situation. If she is with her companions that she cares about she is more carefree and always has a smile on her face; on the other hand if she is in front of people she doesn't trust she is quiet but has a sharp and sarcastic tongue when speaking. She has decent manner aside from that. She is brash at times and doesn't really think things through on the short term ideas if it is long term she considers most of the possibilities offered to her..:Strengths: 1) Her Magic skills, 2) Her kindness and friendship, 3) Dagger handling. .:Weaknesses: 1) She’s terrified of spiders, 2) Her temper can get the best of her, 3) her big mouth, 4) Her clumsiness. .:Magic Abilities: she knows the spells of her people but she really likes to deal with the fire and ice elements. She has the ability to talk to animals (a curse cast upon her as a child. She used to find it unbearable but she has since learned to work with it and tune most of the chatter out), and has an affinity with the elements of water and fire. ..:Accents: Kazira has a slight Irish accent.| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ | .:Birthplace:Segontium. .:Family: Mother: Alesia Frost: White hair and icy blue eyes with a slim build only standing 5'. Archer by trade Alesia was in her teens when she married Sador. She was in her mid forties when she was taken from from Kazira and when Aeron went missing. Father: Sador Frost: Forest green eyes dark brown hair standing around 6'2". A thief in his younger years Sador made himself a name when he teamed up with Alesia as being a fantastic sword for hire. He didn't have the best personality. Brash and loud compared to his wife's quiet and reserved attitude. He was a firm believer that none of his progeny were going to depend on anyone to survive. He threw his daughter to the wild when they were old enough and had them hunt and fend for themselves (mush to his wife's ire.) Sister: Aeron : Fraternal twin sister to Kazira she is the mini version of their mother; quiet and reserved with a quiet anger. She was the one thing that helped Kazira calm down in one of her anger fits. She has white hair and blue eyes like their mother. While Kazira had a better grasp on the nature magic, Aeron had a better grasp on curses. She was 15 when she went missing after their parents death .:Occupation:Mercenary, Trader. .:Current Location of Residence: Camelot. (traveling) .:History: Kazira is from a small village called Sangontium, a coastal village. Her family were travelers. Her father, Sador, and mother, Alesia, were small time witches. They were nomadic and peaceful but they were mercenaries. That was the reason for their travels usually. But they often did trade with other kingdoms. When her family came to Camelot Alesia was pregnant. That was just two years before the heir to the throne had been born. When her and her sister were born they very rarely took to traveling to Camelot, though at the time the twins had no idea why. But one day they arrived in Camelot and Kazira was amazed with how beautiful it was. She fell in love with the place and almost cried when they left. She never went back.
Her father was a different type of man and Kazira loved him deeply even though he did throw them out to the wild to fend for themselves. But he truly thought that with their trade they had to understand that they couldn't depend on anyone to defend or protect them all the time. They had to take care of themselves. The only down side was learning the spells of the old religion. Kazira got the hang of the natural spells but Aeron had a tough time getting her curses right. One day Kazira was sitting in front of her sister trying to get Aeron to concentrate when a bird flew passed and startled Aeron who accidentally cursed Kazira. It wasn't necessarily a bad curse but if not trained it could cause the cursed to go out of their minds because of all the voices of the wild they would hear.
One day though when Kazira was 15 years old. Her parents sent her to get dinner. They had camped out on in the outskirts of Camelot. Aeron had stayed back to continue to practice her spells (without their parents knowing). Kazira had only been gone for a few hours; on the way back to camp she had a sinking feeling in her gut. She feared the feeling and ran back to the camp; only to see that her parents had been killed. She didn't see her sister anywhere but only feared the worst. She dropped her kill grabbed her bag and took off. Her training kicked in. Her father always said that if something didn't feel right she would have to run and never look back. What she saw was burned into her memory along with the color of the cloth that her mother was clenching in her fist: red cloth.
That was how she ended up alone looking for her sister. Along the way she found her companion, Moros. A giant black great Dane wolf mix. She was a little hesitant to trust an animal but soon after he saved her from some bandits, he became her family and best friend.

At the chuckle and snort that came from the man before her she pursed her lips and pouted. "I'm not that reckless." She reiterate her point. Well it she wasn't completely reckless there were times that she did things on a dare that would get her into trouble but that was out of fun. More often then not she didn't do anything to dangerous... depending on who she was speaking to. Kazira blinked when his face appeared in front of hers and she found herself gazing into his green eyes.
”Need you, my dear? Now I can’t even begin to guess for what… to annoy them maybe? Or to… entertain them, in many ways…?”
Her saucy smirk was still in place as she listened to his words. "Of course they need me." SHe stated confidently. "I'm a little wild cat. I make their lives interesting." She leaned closer to him her lips brushing against his lightly. Teasing him...and unfortunatly herself at the same time. She wanted to kiss him. "Among other things." She placed a chaste kiss on him and took two steps away a coy smile on her lips. She wanted to play and she wanted a tie. She turned around and tapped her chin, "I could stay around to annoy people though. That sounds like more entertaining to me though. hmmm decisions decisions."
"You could have stopped my heart" She muttered burrying her face into his shoulder a smile slidding onto her face before she briefly lifted it and stuck her tongue out at him childishly. She wondered what it was about this man that made her act so carefree? She just didn't understand it. Usually she was pretty relaxed but that night she was acting odd. hmm maybe he had cast a spell on her? granted that would be a little odd but it wasn't that different with all the spells that are floating around now-a-days with the New Religion. "WE'll see. " She stated simply. enjoying the brisk walk as they left the walls of camelot. She fully relax when they entered the woods. Her home. This was where she thrived. She blinked owlishly when she was suddenly on her feet behind him. "Huh? "
"Kazira! Let her go you bloody wretch."
Seemed that she was too relaxed to realize who was in front of them. She smiled and waved slightly from behind Eamonn. "Sorry I'm Late Moros!" She called with a giggle. Kazira moved easily although somewhat tensely, since her feet were still tender, around him and towards the angry animal; Before she passed him she patted him arm and smiled. She crouched to the side of the still growling amber eyed dog laying one arm on her knees and flicking his ear with the other hand. "Quit that." She stated simply.
{oh its alright! Trust me I've been extremely slow in posting so I completely understand ♥}

She smiled lovingly as she rubbed her friend furry neck. She knew that dogs had the reputation of having the loving and loyal attitude but, even to her most of the time, it was shocking to see it happen before your very eyes. “That he is,” She felt her eyes moisten, “I think that he would like that; wouldn’t you Moros?”Moros looked up at Kazira and smiled as much as a dog could, wagged his tail and gave several loud barks in response.
“What do you think? I haven’t been around other dogs in ages!”
She laughed, “I think that answers that question.”She shook her head and she didn’t know what she was going to do with him but she had to guess that it was to keep him. He was too odd to just give away or leave. "I'm sure it makes the roads traveled far less lonely when you have him by your side," Kazira nodded her head. She didn’t know what she would do if she hadn’t saved Moros those years ago. She had never realized how social she was before. And granted she didn’t like crowds but that didn’t mean that she didn’t like people. He literally saves her everyday. And she owes him her life. He just doesn’t know it. “He makes for some great company. I feel like he knows exactly what I need when I need it.” She smiled, “but it’s more than that really. I owe Moros my life. He saved me. I lost two families within a short time span. Without him I don’t think that I would be here.”
Kazira heard the small chuckle come from Arthur and she had an idea of what he was thinking about. She had to admit it was a lot funnier in person than just picturing a tiny child riding him. But Moros was even having fun doing it…He was even the one to suggest it! That was the most shocking thing that she’d heard that evening. Normally he wanted nothing to do with children because they pulled on his ears and pulled on his tail too hard and the list just goes on about what he doesn’t like about human children. She smiled happily as Moros jumped around at the mention of food. For such a large animal it still amazed how easily he moved. He pranced like a doe he was incredibly light on his feet. Moros nodded his head eagerly as he crouched down looking like a pup wanting to play. Kazira shook her head. What a gluttonous pup; what did she do to deserve him?
”I know. You are right. I meant what I said in my oath, that I will be fair and just in my judgenments.” She smiled at the assurance. Though honestly it wasn’t needed. She had faith that Arthur would stick to his word for he was an honorable man. Has been since she’d known him; even when he’d caught her ‘sneaking’ around his room. She hoped that as time passed he would grow to understand that not everything is as it seems. From the looks of it he was starting to understand that about people. Maybe that would happen with magic as well? Time would only tell. He would have to trust himself and those he trusts to find those answers. “Thanks Arthur!”She smiled broadly and happilyI have faith in you. I know that you will keep your word. So I'm not worried. Not really..
She didn’t know when she had come to consider Camelot her home but it was. Maybe she always had from the day her parents frequently brought her there to trade. Only leaving on the very day (she never did understand why.) She didn’t even know when she had wanted his consideration on the matter. But she did. So his response to her question threw her off mostly because of the sincerity. “Really?”She chuckled softly at the following sentence. Kazira was a little shocked. It was odd to have someone welcome her to their city…allowing her to call it home. Temporarily; yes, but never permanently. Being a nomad and a woman on top of that she isn’t highly looked at. And while that normally doesn’t bother her things do add up over time.
She looked at him with true gratitude. Something she hasn’t felt in a long time. “Hm. You Arthur are truly something else.” She stated with a small shake of her head. Disbelief. That was one thing that she could use to describe some of her emotions at the moment. He was truly not the kind of man you would meet on the street every day. A true Prince Charming…Or rather King Charming. “But thank you. Its nice to know that I do have some friends looking out for me.” She stated with a laugh.
Her sly smile turned into a full blown Cheshire cat smile when he asked that question. She had been waiting for him to ask that and the confusion just makes it better. The good thing was, was that this wasn’t anything bad! “Oh just the fact that you sent a few supplies their way to help them along.” She paused for effect, “Just a few tools among other things nothing tremendous; just enough to help them with the crops and repairs, a few satchels of gold to a couple of families who needed it for medicine.”She finished rubbing the back of her neck with a smile. Now realizing that she was getting going to start getting specific if she didn’t stop now. “Just stuff like that.” For some reason she had a feeling he knew that she had something to do with it but…She couldn’t help it! She was a sucker for helping people…besides it helped him as well not that she was trying to justify helping them. But it worked out for everyone really. The people got some extra supplies, she got to help people, and Arthur (while not knowingly) got recognized for it. It was a win, win in her book. She smiled broadly at him not showing her nervousness at how he would react. Just because he acted one way didn’t mean that he would appreciate her using his name.
Kazira felt her face heat up. Again…Did she never stop flushing around this man!? It was just as bad with any other man associated with the new king. She was beginning to wonder if she had messed up on a spell at some point and just didn’t know it. But she was grateful. “You’re words are too kind. But thank you.” She shrugged. “Maybe one day I will take you up on your offer.” But hopefully that day will not be soon. It wasn’t that she did not trust him. No she trusted him with her life. Should she end up in a bad situation…She didn’t want him to get caught up in the mess with someone waiting for him to come home. That was the thing that would kill her personally. Having to ask him to help her out of something…and getting past her pride to do so first… but taking him away. She just couldn’t do it; she’d rather risk her own life rather than someone else’s.
Kazira giggled at the women’s faces when she stuck her tongue out at them. The horrified looks were rather ridiculous. Did these women not know how to have fun? Or was it due to the fact that she did it in from of Arthur? The world may never know. Kazira feeling a little silly made several other faces at them; laughing as one looked like she was going to pass out. Oh she hadn’t had this much fun since she was at that birthday party with Lisa when they were younger. Moros looked on and sighed. His friend never seemed to stop tormenting people. But on the other hand the other human, Arthur, seemed to find it rather amusing. If the chuckles were anything to go by. Kazira turned to Arthur when he started to talk and smiled puffing up slightly. “What can I say to that? She laughed. “I am but a child locked within a woman’s heart. I like to have fun even in the oddest of moments…like fighting!”She giggled again she couldn’t believe that he’d said that, maybe he hadn’t seen her antagonizing the other girls, and covered her mouth.“I don’t think that they’re swooning now Arthur.” She said pointing towards the enraged women who had grabbed some apples from the table that wasn’t too far away. Maybe she’d gone to far. She gave them a cheeky little smile as she ducked behind Arthur to dodge an apple. Nah! But who knew those girls had such good throwing arms? “I think that now would not be a dull moment right?”
She snickered. At the memory she hadn’t actually “seen” the look on Uther’s face but she heard it. That alone was hilarious. Arthur trying to figure out what he was talking about was even funnier. “Actually no…I didn’t actually “see” it. I was hiding…Remember? But I heard it.”She giggled. “You trying to figure out what he was talking about made everything a lot funnier. Its amazing how short of a time ago that was. It felt like so many years ago…so many things have happened…so many things changed. She wondered if Arthur felt this way too? If he felt that time was changing slowly or standing still? She smiled at him and placed a gentle hand on his arm. “You can only offer so much of yourself before you stretch to thin Arthur. I would have only asked for information as I did that night.”She was taking a leap at telling him that but her pride needed to take a step back at the moment. This moment was not the place for it and it was not needed. “I know that I can come to you for aid my friend,” She smiled. “Believe me when I say the only things that would stop me are chains and Pride.”Amazingly she didn’t feel guilty admitting it to him. She’d rather he know it now than later. If she thought about it chains and pride were the same thing in her mind. They kept you from doing something and they’re both strong.
She stuck her tongue out at him. She still wasn’t going to admit that he was right. She was too stubborn for her own good. “I did get lost,”She smiled. “Oh yes I totally sneaked into a guarded castle into your chamber just paint all over your face.” She tilted her head. It sounded a bit far fetched…even if it was true. “Besides the marks came off didn’t they? It was only berry paint…granted blueberry paint…”She trailed off and wondered how long it took for it to wear off. “ How long did it take to come off?” She asked him curiously.
“Really?” She asked not that surprised. It wasn’t common for anyone to be hired by kings especially women. She smiled proudly and puffed up. “I was able to get the information they needed with little to no trouble of getting caught. The same with retrieving their lost items.”Not a complete lie. “And I offered my brutal honesty. Of which was no charge at all. Maybe I should charge extra for that?’ she trailed off. Now that was a thought. She giggled at the idea but threw it out. No her prices were reasonable and if she charged for her brutal honesty well then…she would never get any work at all. She smiled at the fond memories of Lord Astras. It was good to know that other missed him as well. “I would like to think that he taught me well.” She smirked, ‘If you’d like to hear a story you should talk to Lancelot. Ask him about a masked fighter at the Peace Treaty festival. There’s a big surprise there.”She stated not wanting to give away all of her secrets herself. There was no fun in that. Plus it was just to easy. Just because she considered him a brother didn’t mean she had to go easy on the man. She wanted him to find the information on her. Or at least of her fighting knowledge. “We’ll see.”She stated. “It all depends on how comfortable you are in fighting a woman Arthur.”She raised a brow giving him the I’m-not-sure-that-you’ll-be-able-to-do-that look. “I’m not afraid to get hurt or use insecurities to my advantage in combat. I won’t fight if you are uncomfortable with it.”She stated bluntly. And once again she was honest. She wasn’t above using her gender to her advantage seeing as some men won’t fight women. Kazira was excited to test her skills against him one day but she wouldn’t ask that of him if he was going to go easy on her. ”Soon then.” Kazira nodded her head. “I can’t wait to meet her. I have to say that she is one lucky woman. To have captured your attention.”

Moros narrowed his eyes even more. Saving energy? Ha. Probably for his human. He probably should have backed down he thought as reason began to come back to him. But he was just as stubborn as any other. And to say the least he was proud. He could put a feline to shame as much as he loathed admitting it. He held back a laugh at the horses face though…it was rather humorous to see one so riled up to make such a…unrefined face. They made themselves out as perfectly calm beings. Seeing ones face twisted in such a fashion was rather funny. He snorted at the dust the flew up from the dust the came up from the horses hoof. That was rather un-needed. You don’t see him throwing up dirt because he’s angry now do you?
“I mean to say that when I see human I think hunter. ” Moros grunted, “Doesn’t matter if they’re good at it or not. When they have companions that are able to help; no matter if they’re grazer or not they’ll still be able to get the food they need.” Moros snorted to get out some of the dirt that managed to get into his nose. “Besides I think I did you a favor.” And he left it at that not saying anymore as Kazira stepped in giving both of them glares. Moros blinked but he wasn’t shocked that the horse knew that she was a magic user. Especially since she was able to understand them. Not many witches or wizards could talk to “normal” or magical animals unless they were naturally able to speak like the powerful dragons.
Kazira wasn’t phased in the least by the horses comeback. “You’re right,” She stated naturally before lowering her tone. “I know what he has done and he knows what he has to do to make up for it. But you know what I am and had I wanted you dead you would have been the second you stepped into my camp. I don’t like hurting innocents but I don’t take well to threats or rudeness not matter what the cause is.” Kazira honestly felt like the bad guy for threatening the horse and she knew she was not the victim but it was now in her camp. And she was not going to have a brawl take place in it. She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. Why did everything have to happen all because they ran out of dried meat?
Kazira smiled at the stated and chuckled softly. Yes their pack was small. “Yes it is but only now. When we meet new people that we trust and care for they become part of it without knowing.” She watched him rub his head agaist the girl and for her to push him away and she only shook her head. “They are the family I always wanted.” She finished rubbing Moro’s head when he came up and sat next to her. It felt like ages after she had introduced herself to the timid girl. Kazira tilted her head and wondered what had happened to make her this way so untrusting but she could only speculate. She want going to ask the girl was to timid for that. Moros looked up at his friend and sighed. She still didn’t know that the colors in her eyes would move subtly. It was rather pretty. Like an illusion but to other like ‘mouse girl’ as he has taken to calling her. It might intimidate them, or frighten them. You’d only see it if you were close to her like he was but it was there. Kazira felt bad for the girl. She really did and it wasn’t pity but she didn’t know how to make the situation anymore relaxing.
“I am Faerydae Moritary, but you may call me Dae,” she nodded towards the white stallion now, “And I call him Silver, but I do not know his true name.”
“Faerydae, that’s a very beautiful name.’ Kazira stated with an honest smile. It truly was and it wasn’t as odd as some of the names that she had come upon on some of her travels. It was relatively normal. Half the names she couldn’t even pronounce so she made up nicknames for them. “Silver is a strong name and it does suit him.” She stated throwing a playful wink the horses way cause Moros to roll his eyes. But her brow furrowed at the following question, fear the woods? Why…?
Kazira shook her head. “No I have nothing to fear from the woods. Woods like these have been my home since I’ve been old enough to crawl,” She started. “That doesn’t mean that I’m not cautious, though, there are things that can hurt me. I am only human.” She giggled at the last bit. Some though would say otherwise because of what she could do. Just because she was a witch and just because she had some natural magic. They would say that she was a monster…at least those who sided with Uther did and if they ever found out what she was. She looked straight to the other woman; “Do you fear the woods Dae?”

Kazira sat across from Lord Mauntell her right ankle crossed over her right knee. It wasn’t the most lady like of poses but she was comfortable. For the meeting that day she had decided to wear a burgundy top with white sleeves that rested off her shoulders and ran under her leather arm guards at her wrists a linen cream skirt with slit up the sides that showed her black pants and boots. And at this point in the meeting being comfortable was the least of her worries... she wasn’t too fond of keeping up appearances when she was on the verge of igniting the room on fire. She was at her wits end with this man. He was arrogant, as most were that hired her, and just plain cocky. She’s seen roosters more humble than him before their deaths. Moros laid next to her listening to the transaction between them. The man wanted his friend to retrieve some stolen gold and other important trinkets from a local thief that has seemed to become rather prominent within Albion. The only thing that they weren’t telling her was a name.
“Alright. So you want me to hunt down this nameless ‘fiend’ retrieve your treasures and what…kill them not kill them. Bring back their heads. Drop their bodies in the river. What do you want me to do?” Kazira was as patient as a four year when it came to people not willing to give the right information for her to do her job. She’s turned down better jobs just because they wouldn’t give her the name of the target. She didn’t work blind. She only needed a name. She would take it from there unless they had other plans of course. She was a sword for hire obviously. And if this was a child she would come back and chop their hands off. She had morals whether some wanted to believe it or not.
“We would like you to bring her…”
“Her?”
“Yes,” He tapped his half bald head with a handkerchief under her fierce glare. No one had mentioned this thief being a woman. They were worse than men most of the time. More vicious in a fight if cornered. She should know. “She has taken some large amounts of gold and several of our family heirlooms. We need you to retrieve them.”
She growled and slammed her hands on the table as she stood up sending her chair clattering to the floor. They had been at the desk for over an hour, him and his little advisor (or whatever the skittish man was), dancing around her questions like they didn’t matter. And she was through with it. She was going to get her answers and she was going to get them now. “Enough! You have danced around every question for the past hour and only now am I getting a gender and a better description of what she took. So now you Lord Mauntell and your little skittish sidekick over there are going to tell me what her name is. I could have really cared less about the history of your family and all of the other rubbish you’ve been feeding me,” She straightened. “I told you when you approached me that I needed a name, description, and what you needed done. And depending on what it is I’ll set my price. At this rate I will charge you for my arse sitting in that chair!”
Moros had jumped up and stood paws out stretched and teethed barred. A low growl was emitting from his chest. He was rather upset with the stalling that the man before them was attempting as well. Especially since he seemed to think that Kazira had no idea that they were attempting to do so. “So tell me my lord if you were attempting to waste my time with the entire idle chat. Mind telling me what were you hoping to accomplish? That I would be a quit roll in the hay?” Moros’ growl rose and Mauntell began sweat and shook his head denying the accusation profusely while in doing so admitting his own guilt.
Kazira placed a calming hand on her friends back and stroked the hair down. “Calm. Calma mi Moros.” She looked at the men her eyes still fiercely angry while her facial features had returned to their neutral state. “Now,” She stated as she sat on the table her arms crossed. “Do you mind telling me who I will be hunting?”
The men nodded, “Cl...Clarissa Lockwood.”
She blinked her eyes in confusion,"...Who?"

Kazira raised a brow at Lidia but said nothing as she brought them their second round of ale. She was rather tempted to ask her what type it was but the slight fog that was clouding her mind was preventing her from doing so. It was odd of a tavern to have that strong of ale. Most was severely watered down and would take hundreds to even create the hum of a drunk. Others less but the principal was still the same. She smirked at him behind her tankard. A quick and merciful one eh? Well if he kept going the way he was he wasn’t even going to make it. “We’ll see about that my friend.” She snickered slightly as he talked about Uther. She finished her third tankard easily and smoothly still nibbling on the bread. An unlady like snort came from her when he mentioned that he was expecting to take over an =d change everything back. “The hell he is.” She muttered. “If that man changed it would make the world of difference. It just depended on how he changed. Would it be for the better or for worse?” She asked pouting slightly at the thought of Uther taking over. The thought was heinous and she would cause a mutiny…wait that was for a ship…a rebellion. She would cause a rebellion should he take over again. She was not going to go back to the shadows (though technically she still is in the shadows but that wasn’t her point) when she could live in the light of change. Nope it was not happening, not one bit.
She waved him off with a smile after her litter coughing spell. “Oh don’t worry bout that,” she stated her irish accent thickening and her slang words coming out. “Something like choking to death wont kill me.” She giggled as she took down her fifth or was it fourth tankard.”Besides I’m to stubborn to die. Or so I’m told.” She finished with a somewhat confused look. But she shook it off. She needed to slow down. This ale was too strong for her to be downing it like water in a desert. “Yes I suppose so.” She said with a soft smile. “’Everyone is different so I guess how and where they would like to die would be as well; no?”She’d caught his eyes for a second before he’d looked away. She blinked. Was it something she said? She took a sip off her ale she’d gotten used to the burn.
She smiled coyly leaning forward. “Wouldn’t you like to know…Lance?” She winked before flopping back into her seat. Lidia had brought them more ale and set them down a concerned look crossing her face. She said nothing as she turned back towards that bar and talked with her husband who nodded. Kazira tilted her head she wondered what they were talking about. She giggled. “Oh my dear friend. That would all depend on what you were blindfolding me for.” She covered her mouth to stop the giggles from escaping but it was almost a lost cause. “And to cut off you’re limbs... I don’t think Ar…Arthur would be to happy with me.” She managed to get out the last part just barely before her giggles took over again. She wasn’t drunk but she was on her way. Usually when she got this way she was very childish and spoke whatever was on her mind no matter what it was. She had to thank any mystical being that was out there that no one believed a word she’d said because they were drunker than a dog howlin at the moon. “You may be a head of me…b…bu…but you’re swayin a bit there buddy!” She chirped from her seat as she nibbled on a piece of bread and twirled a strand of hair.
Moros sat on the ground and shook his head. This was going to be a long night. Why did they have to do this now? Of all nights? Was he the only one who remembered that the man that she was hired to protect was coming here for a meeting later on? He looked op at the giggle mess that was his friend and the swaying and stuttering knight that sat across from her…yes, yes he was. He hung his head and flop on the ground his weight shaking some of the utensils on the table. He might as well relax and keep an ear out if things got out of hand between the two of them.

Lidia had come back a small smile still on her face. She had brought with her several tankards of their finest ale and set it before the two warriors. She couldn’t help but wonder how Kazira knew a knight of Camelot but she didn’t question anything she did anymore. She worked in mysterious ways and those ways brought Dan and herself much relief over the past several days. Here you go dears. She gave one last smile before walking back to the other customers. She still had to tell Dan to clear off the stairs. They didn’t want any mishaps to occur after their little contest.
Kazira smiled at Lidia and grabbed a tankard and raised it. “Here’s to a fair competition.” She took a gulp and felt the liquid slid easily down her throat. It shocked her somewhat. She was used to the slight burn from the drink and a somewhat foul taste. But this tasted…better…than the others. Guess it really was their finest. She shook her head. She couldn’t believe she had agreed to do this but it would be fun to see what happened. She mentally shrugged off her thoughts and let them wander to what he had said earlier. “What you said was true ya know. But you know. Even the unwilling do eventually change it doesn’t matter the speed. Even the smallest change that the resisting people make; make the biggest difference.” She stated taking another drink before she began to cough. She had taken in to much and it went down the wrong pipe. “I don’t think that I chose to settle yet.” She started, “I think that I am to much like water. Always moving.” She nibbled on a piece of bread that she had on her plate. “I think that a solider is meant to die however he wishes. Mainly defending those he has vowed to protect.”
She had practically agreed with him without actually saying so. She was twisting her words to make it sound like poetry. She heard a shout from behind her and laughed as a man danced around with his girl to no music. This place made her feel somewhat poetic and she didn’t understand why. But she didn’t really care either. She also didn’t want to just come out and say anything either. She for some reason or another wanted people to think about the answers she gave. She took a large drink and looked at her empty cup before she had grabbed the second one that Lidia had placed on the table. At this rate she might not be making any sense and her words would ring to true and clear.
She smiled slyly at him. “Well, Lance, I’m not to sure but I’m leaning more towards the fact that the woman is in love with someone else.” She took a sip of her drink. “Besides I don’t think that you would have any problems with your manly resposibilites…that I know of.” She stated off handedly but stating the truth. She never experienced anything with the man so how would she know about them? Besides he wasn’t that hard to see that the moment she had opened her mouth that she had shocked him. She kept the smile on her face. “Don’t take it to lightly. I would let anyone blindfold me. But if it was someone I didn’t know they would do so at their own risk of losing a limb.” Moros looked up at her and couldn’t hold the shock back. She had said that so jokingly that you almost didn’t think that she wasn’t serious but the underlying edge to her tone said otherwise. He wondered if the knight had caught on to that little fact?
Kazira nodded her head and waved Lidia down for another drink. That would make sense. To have something worthwhile to fight for in order to gain a serious fight. She paused. What would she fight for? Moros? Arthur? Definitely not riches those were just means to an end. She didn’t much care for them. She enjoyed fighting and relished in fighting a stronger opponent. Even if she lost she learned something. She pulled something from every fight. Even the verbal spars that she has with the vendors and merchants she encounters. “I could understand that. I could also agree with that sentiment.” She paused as she looked at her drink. “So are you ready to lose?” She asked with a coy smirk planted on her lips.

Lost
As a nomad she is always alone Whether it was by choice or not She is alone.
Her family killed by a monster, One who feared what their kind could do. She was left.
The kind heart that took her in. Taught her to fight, loved her. Her heart was happy.
But nothing lasted long. It all turned to ash within her hands, The rain washed everything away.
Her heart was that of a child's-- so alone. She was alone in the world with no one. Her family taken, her friends dead.
The pain of being lost Is the ultimate sacrifice for those like her She used to so sure.
Now within the woods She sits among-st the shadows They swallow her up.
In blinding darkness Her tears aren't heard Her sorrow is left behind.
This is the penalty for love. It was the execution of a heart. It was the price to pay for always being lost.

Nothing she should regret? Kazira frowned. That usually meant that she had went off about something and that maybe she should regret it. What exactly did she say to him? She thought about what he had said she was just speaking her mind? But there was a difference between knowing and choosing what you say to someone and not knowing what was coming out of your mouth! She was already regretting what she said and she didn't even remember. Kazira looked to him her eyes searching for some sort of reaction. She nodded almost hesitantly after a few moments of not being able to see anything. She wasn't about to let it go completely though. She would definitely be bringing it up later. She was blacking out and speaking about things. That didn't sit well with her. Granted he knew she was a witch ( if he didn't she would have to wonder about how dense he was.) But what if it happened at some other point in time; for instance around a certain find and royal family? Heck she might as well slit her own throat than think about the possibilities there. Alright she sighed. If anything she would bring the subject up with Moros he might know what was wrong with her...or maybe him? She didn't know and that on its self was bothering her. What caused it? Maybe she took to many hits to the head? She preferred her daggers and bow to her short sword. And hand to hand wasn't her forte.
She leaned on her right leg and giggled. she had a knack for being a comic relief. Most of the people she had met had said so even if they didn't like her. Most of the time it was at her own expense. But that was OK. It was nice to hear another person laugh with her. And for the moment it was him. 'I'm not that reckless' She defended but it only came as a half-hearted attempt mixed with feminine giggles as she returned the affectionate nudge. 'But you're probably right the grave wouldn't be able to keep me within its hold for too long. People up here need me!" she gave a saucy wink and laughed. She shook her head at her silliness, causing her hair to flip around and send water droplets everywhere. She dodged the arrow of mentioning her "family's name" Now that she thought about it...didn't that technically make her a noble? It was never truly formal or anything and it didn't really matter. She didnt care about the politics and riches that went with that life.
Kazira didn't look up. "I cooould." She clasped her hands in front of her and flushed slightly. Here she was a grown woman of 20 years and acting like a meek dependent woman. When it came to asking for things she became every bit a meek and quiet person. She wasn't used to asking for things that she could do herself (like walking.) If it didn't feel so good to be wrapped up in his arms then she wouldn't have even asked if he could carry her. It was just something that she felt she couldn't pass up.
Without any warning Kazira felt strong arms sweep her up off the ground. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, her body tense, and her head against his shoulder. After a few moments she relaxed. She pulled her face away "You could have warned me.' She mumbled trying to calm her racing heart. She hadn't been scared but he had shocked her to death. She nodded her head."Yes,' She paused wondering if she should tell him about Moros. "There's a surprise waiting just outside. I would be careful." She added finally. She hid her smile and wondered how he would react to her monstrous companion.

Ha! If i was so slow you would have been able to catch me you lame brained oaf! Moros wasnt about to explain himself to that lumbering white tower! Not if Kazira were the one to be yelling at him to do so. He still had his pride and it wasnt something he did. He didnt particularly like horses. There were a few that were not to bad but those were few and far between. and usually Kazira was the one to talk to them and on the travels they would be alright. He stood over the rabbit his hackles still raised and what reason do you have to be annoyed? you are but a grazer. One rabbit isnt going to make much of a difference and the others would have lasted the girl a while." Moros wasn't thinking that the girl might not be a true hunter like him or how he taught his human. Most wouldnt think to dry their meat.
If Kazira had been irritated before she was possitively livid now. The horses tone had set off her temper. She didnt much care if he had moved away she would have done the same. Plus she had been around animals long enough to pick up and understand bonds. Moros wouldnt really let anyone but her touch him unless he deemed them worthy and unless it was a dire emergenecy. But for a horse to have that annoyed tone with her her after bargining in on her camp. No matter what her friend had done that didnt mean anything. he had no right! That was disrepectful! Her icy eyes flashed a hot glacier white with her lividity. Dont you dare take that tone with me Horse she warned her tone cool and laced with warning. This is my camp and I make the rules here. Your breed should know that much. She had calmed slightly after her warning enough for her eyes to change back but her authoritative tone didnt die. She made the rules within her camp and whe wasnt about to let a horse talk to her in that manner. Whether he meant to be rude or not; she didnt care.
Moros had cowed down at her anger. He wasnt frightened per say it was just the fact that her powers were rather unpredictable when she was angry and usually something would burst into flames or there would be a horrible flood. But much to his relief she didnt seem to be angry enough for that to happen. He had felt the prickle of her powers and he wasnt sure how anything was going to go. Hell they all could have been fried beings when she had finished talking and she wouldnt remember a thing! He held back a snicker though. That would have been a sight to see. Two animals fighting and then everything just bursts into flames! How would they explain that to the girl. Hell how are they going to explain Kazira talking animals?
Kazira tapped her foot in irritation still holding the rabbit. She could feel a headache coming on and honestly this was not how she wanted to spend her afternood. She just wanted to rest, then go hunting, dry out the meat and then sleep. Was that too much to ask? She looked at the guilty Moros and sighed. Apparently so. Others always had other plans that just didnt seem to work with hers. Are you going to give me anytype of explanation for this? she asked holding up the rabbit. Though she could guess what had happened she wanted to hear him say it and she would give the apology. She waited a few seconds before sighing and rubbing between his ears. What am I going to do with you?"
“My my, what an interesting relationship you two have,”
Moros slid his own liquid amber eyes towards the horse and glareed. It was getting a proverbial kick out of his humiliation! But at least Kazira wasnt to mad at him for it anymore. He knew that he was still going to get an ear full later but at least she wasnt going to draw this out anymore...at least he hoped not! He sighed. she probably didnt even know that she was humilating him either. She just goes off and forgets everyone else is there. He let his eyes drift around only to catch sight of the woman again. He sat up straighter and tilted his head. She seemed offly skittish for someone who was chasing him down for a rabbit not to long ago.
Kazira sighed they she would continue this later. She had humilatied him enough. It was better to do it now then later. But she would still go after him for what he did. He knew that she was going to go hunting. "Yes we do have an odd sort of pack dont we." She stated answering the horse as she relaxed her stance somewhat. She took a good look at the steed before her and she had to say that for what little she knew about horses she was impressed. She had to guess he was around 16-17 hand tall and he had a beautilful coat. He looked extemely helathy from where she stood but again she was not horse expert and she never tried to be. She honestly felt bad for calling him 'horse.' She preferred to call animals by their names.
Hearing the hesitant question she turned and looked towards the woman. She seemed every bit as nervous as a newborn pup. Or colt in this instance. Kazira relaxed trying to ease the woman's anxiety. "My name is Kazira. Kazira Astras." Moros moved over and sat next to Kazira and she placed her hand on his head, "and the unfortunate thief here is Moros." He dipped his head in greeting. "And who mighty you two be? Other than the victims of this gluttonous animal? Kazira shifted her weight and leaned on her right leg waiting curiously for the womans reply.
(Sorry I took so long!-- Yeah I did make it on photoshop I havent edited her eyes on this one like i did on some of my others but oh well haha. )

Moros darted through the foliage his nostrils flaring as he leaped over logs and larger areas to cover more ground. That was a bad idea. Probably the worst idea he has ever had and Kazira was never going to let him live this down. But he had been so hungry he just hadn’t thought about the conciquences of stealing from the horse woman. Now here he was running towards camp with a rabbit in his mouth and an angry horse and master after him. Yeah this was one not his best laid out plans.
He faltered slightly and winced. He felt bad for the girl. Moros hadn’t meant to scare her. In all actuality he was hoping she wouldn’t notice him but the horse had and let loose that annoying whinny that almost made his ears bleed. He didn’t dare look back towards them as he weaved around some more of the trees. That would have caused him to trip and having a horse jump on him was not on the list of things he had to do that day. Neither was dieing! But the absolute terror that was etched onto her face made his heart clench. He’d never cause that sort of reaction before not even when he snuck up on some of the kids back in Camelot. He’d hoped that his growl had warded the two of them off but obviously that was not the case. Since he could still here the two of the following them.
“Kazira!” He howled as he barreled into camp running past her before turning and growling at the white horse. He tossed the rabbit under him. Moros barked and growled threateningly at the horse. He was not happy that he was standing over his friend at all. "Help!"
Kazira had woken up from her doze when Moros had broken through camp. She went to sit up only to see an infuriated horse standing over her nipping at Moros and Moros growling unflattering things. Her icy eyes narrowed as she heard what the two were saying before she heard a cold feminine voice, “Your dog took my rabbit.” She looked over and saw a woman with long platinum hair and ice blue eyes similar to her own hiding behind a tree. From what she could see Kazira assumed that she was wearing furs. “No I hadn’t realized that from the oh to nice conversation the two of them are having at the moment.” She stated sarcastically as she pulled her leg up and stood up brushing dirt from her clothing.
Not minding the woman for a moment she walked right in between the two angry animals. “Now you two quit that right now; I will not have fighting within my camp.” She hissed. She looked at the two amber eyed animals. They didn’t seem to have heard a word she’d said. Growling loudly and animalistic she swatted both animals on the shoulder, “I said enough!”
She reached under Moros and grabbed the rabbit. “What did I tell you before you left?” Moros shrunk back slightly. “To come back if I found anything.” She crossed her arms,”…and what else?” “To not do anything stupid?” “Exactly?! And what do you do?! The exact opposite of what you are told! I tell you to do one thing not do something stupid! And you do steal from another camp!? I was going hunting soon! For a buck!” Kazira continued to rant pretty much forgetting about the guests that were not spectaturs to the scolding of Moros. Much to his humiliation. One of them could understand what he was saying.
Kazira could not believe that he had done this. The day had started off like any other day. They set off from a job, ate, traded, and traveled some more. Not once had there been any trouble. Sure she had run out of dried meet but that was to be expected the last deer had been small. Sure she was expecting Moros to be hungry and bored they were supposed to be meeting a contact in the area. Something about killing some merchant for cheating them out of something. She had frequent meetings to see if the jobs were really worth taking. Kazira had been expecting many things but for Moros to actually get into this much trouble was not it!
Haha thank you very much! Yes I did. It’s pretty simple but I like it

She calmed somewhat at his words. She still wasn’t used to knights apologizing…or well anyone apologizing to her for that matter. She still however took a step back from him, not fully trusting him. She put a hand behind her back and pulled out another leather bag and pushed water into it. She wasn’t as crafty as some of the people she had met but she had a few tricks. “Then how did you mean it?” She asked tilting her head slightly. Curiosity slipping into her icy gaze. “Because however you say it; I doubt it will ever come out the way you meant it.” She had an idea of what he meant. But that didn’t meant that it didn’t anger her. No it would have upset her one way or another because they all assumed the same thing. No matter the man or knight. She paused slightly. Well, that wasn’t true she had met others who hadn’t done so.
What was with this knight, this man? “Do you have some sort or mental affliction? You have apologized twice to me yet I’m a…” witch, “…trouble maker.” He was very confusing this one was. She was half tempted to just say forget it like she was going to half a second ago but the words were said and she had opened her big mouth. She was over her little irritation at him. Rather quickly now that she thought it over. She moved back more not paying attention to what she was doing. Listening to him as he seemed to beat himself up over his behavior.
“Listen. I get that you’re sorry. And I’m over it. I slightly over-reacted.” She gave a small smile to show that there were no hurt feelings between them. She didn’t want him to go and do anything rash because of this. She didn’t really know him and didn’t really want the guilt of making him feel bad on her conscious. “I got the feeling that you weren’t a bad man. You seemed to enjoy our little chase way to much to be.” She was shocked though when he moved forward suddenly. So much that she moved back and lost her footing. With a yelp she slipped her free hand grasping the edge. She had to find the highest roof to stop on. She frowned and looked to her right hand. Looking down she saw a merchant who tried to con her and smirked. It seems that her balloon wouldn’t go to waste. Carefully she took aim and dropped it onto the merchant and then grasped the roof. Giggling as she heard the angry shouts start after a loud SPLAT! She looked down and saw him walk away soaking wet. “Serves the rotten crook right.” She looked up and tried to pull herself up and sighed. Normally this would have been a piece of cake but in all honesty she was tired. She looked up. “As much as fun as hanging around is my arms are getting kind of tired.” She laughed out .
[Sorry its REALLY late and kind of suckish :/]

Kazira lounged against a tree taking in the silence of the area she had chosen to make camp. She wasn’t too picky when it came to picking camps. They were usually far enough from a road that they wouldn’t be seen by passer-bys and close enough to a water source should they need something to drink. She was prepared with a flask of water but with Moros and the occasional person she helped she didn’t want to be without a water source.
Moros looked up from his spot on the ground. His stomach was growling. “Kazira.” He called out to her sounding more like an angry growl. She cracked an eye open and looked at her friend. She knew that tone. The glutton was hungry again. “Moros you at the last of the dried meat earlier. I haven’t went hunting yet. You shouldn’t even be hungry again.” Moros rolled his eyes at her. Yes he was hungry but that wasn’t why he was getting her attention. “That’s not it! I’m bored.”
Kazira sat up and gave him a blank look. “Moros are you kidding me? You decided to get me up because you were bored?” At his nod she sighed. “I’m not moving we just settled here.” She paused and looked around. “If you’re so bored. Go hunting or scout the area. But if you find something come and get me don’t do anything stupid.” She warned him her tone firm. She didn’t forget the last time he went off. He had a wild boar chasing him because he was sniffing around her piglets. “I’m still sporting bruises from the last time you didn’t do as you were asked.”
Moros nodded his head. “I know, I know. I swear I will come and find you as soon as I find something.” He rose to his feet and stretched popping his beck in the process and loped off into the forest. Kazira sighed and shook her head. “I have a bad feeling that he is going to get into a bigger mess than last time.” She laid back down and rubbed her eyes. All she could do now was wait.
Moros sunk low as he spotted a rabbit a few yards away and leaped only to have it dart away. He sighed. He was still bored. There was nothing amiss in the area…There never was. Wait a minute. He scented blood. Coming from the east? That was the one area he hadn’t checked. Now his intrest was perked. So he followed his nose towards the scent of blood. He traveled to the edge of a camp it seemed. He stayed low. His golden eyes blinked. The woman was strange…and that was something since he traveled with Kazira. His golden gaze traveled over the camp and saw a large white horse. ‘Odd. For a human and a horse to be of the same color.’ Moros thought. The scent of rabbit was clearer now and was making him mouth water. His stomach was making a soft rumbling noise. Kazira usually hunted bigger game. A deer or a Buck was usually their meal she would dry the meat out and it would last them a while but he had been hungry and ate the last of it. Moros made up his mind and forgot Kazira’s orders to return should he find something. His hunger had taken control.
He shrunk low to the ground and stayed hidden amongst the foliage. His dark coloring shrouding him in shadows. He crept close keeping a watchful eye on the horse before darting forward and stealing one of the rabbits. Despite his size he was fast. He stopped at the edge and growled a warning at the two and took off back towards camp…Not realizing that if they followed he was taking them right to his friend. Oh she was not going to be very happy.
[Sorry that this took so long^^;]

She snickered at Moros as he puffed up with Pride. Any compliment that was thrown his way inflated his ego. But justifingly so. Most are to afraid to pay compliments. He was a loyal friend and for the most part her most frequent supporter. âYes he is always protecting me from one thing or another.â She laughed at Moros who gave her a funny look. As if saying that wasnât all he did. âHeâs always been there no matter what and no matter who had come or gone from my life.â She stated nudging the him with her hip as Moros leaned his heavy body against her. âBesides the kids love to ride him. Heâs been giving the smaller ones rides all day!â she snickered when he finally pushed her over with his weight leaving her sprawled on the ground. Her laughter rose up as he got up and sat next to her like nothing happened. The lovable oaf was something else. But he saved her daily from others and mainly from herself. Kazira didnât know what she would do if Moros hadnât been with her when the thoughts of the past caught up to her during the night.
Moros looked towards Arthur with a doggy smile and gave a loud bark. He knew that Kazira could understand him but he didnât feel like speaking actual words to her. This was not the place and to see her having a decent conversation with a human being. That was something that he was very happy to see. Even if she had been somewhat making fun of him at the time. She needed to get back with the humans instead of animals. She was beginning to act like an animal when she traveled especially when she was angry. He was slightly frightened when she fought. She was almost savage but still retained some of her human moralsâ¦it was odd.
She nodded her head. âYouâre welcome.â She thought about what happened with Morgana. She wished that she had been there fully. She had just left a day before things had turned sour. Her instincts were yelling at her but she was called away on a jobâ¦it paid well and she couldnât afford to pass it up. Unfortunately she needed to money. âAnother thingâ¦donât let past prejudices guide your judgments.â She stated as she got up from the ground dusting off her dress giving moros a playful look. âTheyâre dangerous things to have and they harm those around you whether you know the full extent or not.â It was something that she had great experience with. But as much as the past hurt her she wouldnât change a single thingâ¦Those events made her the woman she was today and the people she met she wouldnât have met because of those events. She smiled brightly. She had just realized something. âLook at me. This is supposed to be a party and I am just handing out all sorts of advice that Iâm sure you donât want to hear right now.â
In her mind it was rather ironic in a way. The little heathen nomadic woman who acts like a child most of the time (something that she wasnât going to deny) was giving advice to a the new king of Camelot. He was a friend but still it was almost unbelievable! Kazira wouldnât believe it if someone had told her and she was the one participating in the conversation! Sure sheâs given advice before but none had ever taken it to heart before..Or even really let her speak for that matter. When she did give the advice they wouldnât take it and in the end after she left she would turn out to be right. Go figure.
Kazira flushed slightly. It was something that she was slowly becoming used to since she arrived in Camelot. So he had noticed that huh? She smiled, âI was thinking about it.â She wasnât sure. âThe neighbors a bit noisy but other than that there arenât many draw backs.â She joked easily.âThis place is the closest place that has ever felt like home. After every travel my feet always seem to lead me back this way.â Moros had commented that it was that she wanted revenge because of what Uther did. But while she hated him for itâ¦She couldnât find in herself to take it. It was so long ago and the kingdom was more important than one life. But she had a feeling that it was because it was the closest thing to homeâ¦she had the fondest memories within the city and forests. More so than any other place. âI donât think that I could ever just stay in one place for too long. I am still a nomad I have to travel but I think that having a place to come back to would be nice. That is if I am welcome to come back?â She shrugged and snapped her fingers. âOh! The smaller villages say thank you.â She gave a sly smile. She was curious as to how he would react. When she left she would take some supplies with her to some of the villages she knew needed a few extra things to help them along. They would thank her but she didnât want the credit so in order to help out Arthur she said that it was from him. She loved helping people but she didnât want the public recognition. Odd but true. She often said she was just the delivery girl. âNo matter where I am or where I reside Arthur I will continue to aide you Arthur.âShe truly meant that â¦she would help him. âThatâs what friends are for. They support each other.â She paused âand donât think about trying to repay me or anything. I will not have it.â She warned softly in advance. âI want to help.â
She gasped mockingly but her smile gave her away. Leave it to him to look cool and collected while saying something so serious that it came out funny. She thought that she was pretty good company if she said so herselfâ¦just not when he was not dressed obviously. âOh come on. I thought that I was pretty good company!â She piped up, âbesides I see a few people who would kiss you whether or not you had donkey ears, bald, or had a beak like a chicken.â She nodded her head to a a small group of women standing off to the side and waved mockingly to them. They were young and were gazing at Arthur like love sick puppies. In all honesty it was rather cute. Even she would admit that-while not her type- he was good looking. She had her eye on a certain confusing assassinâ¦But she was human and she could lookâ¦and tease him. Its not like the two of them had any romantic feelings. She rolled her eyes at the glares the young women sent her. Okay she knew she was odd and the fact that she was hogging the attention of the king but hey what was she to say? She was greedy. Feeling the need to be childish she stuck her tongue out at them and laughed as their faces reddened slightly. But Kazira didnât do much else. âTelling you would have ruined all of the fun! Having you or someone else find out was severely more entertaining than anything else!â She giggled at the thought that was rather entertaining.
She blinked and shook her head. She didnât think that the man before her could amaze her anymore than he had. But he did. âArthur you do what you can. You cant help what happens especially when things are rocky at the time. You cant help every timeâ¦âShe smiled at him. âAnd I donât expect it.â Of anyone she finished mentally. She didnât expect much from anyone not because she didnât trust them to help but because she didnât want them involved. Besides the only time she would even let them know that something was even going on was if she was attempting to gather information. Even then, though, some wouldnât figure it out until later that she was into trouble and fixing it herself. âHow can you help someone when you donât eve n know if theyâre in trouble?â It was something that she wanted him to think about. Because not everyone was easy to read and not everyone told others that they were in trouble.
She shook her head. âNo Arthur I do believe that you are wrong.â She was still so amazed by the change that the man before had made in the times that she had met him. From the moment they had met after she was arguing with that merchant. She had thought him to be an arrogant Prat who didnât know his own arse from his head. But She realized after he had helped her her he did have a good heart buried underneath the spoiled rich boy exterior and that she had started to care for him as a friend and without him knowing she watched. Then from the dare she snuck into his chambers and drew on his face. He was so calm with the situation while being drugged that it was shocking the only time he started to get a bit irritated visibly had been when she was going through his things. And now a king Arthur had matured greatly and with all of the hardships thrown at him she couldnât help but feel proud. It also made her feel horrible that she hadnât been there to help with Morganaâ¦She felt her hand clench tightly. She was disgusted that such a woman had changed into something thatâ¦Kazira changed her train of thought and unclenched her fist. It wasnât right to think that way. Not now. When she was alone was fine but not now. Now was the time to have fun with her friend and enjoy the festivities.
A cheeky smiled slid its way onto her face as he mentioned her sneaking around his chambers. âI wasnât sneaking!â She huffed playfully. âI told you I got lost and just so happened to wind up in your chambers. They shouldnât have been in my way.â She smiled as she stuck her nose up in the air as she crossed her arms. She knew that this was all a huge farce but she couldnât just let go. It was too much fun and besides that it was going to be a running joke from now on. She lowered her head and smiled. âThank you, it means a lot coming from you.â She hoped that he could see that gratitude that she could feel because she didnât know any other way to express it. Sh e was a t a loss for words again.
She tapped a finger to her chin and thought aloud. âHmmâ¦Includingâ¦Five.â She stated with mirth. âMost of them are across the sea and most of them I am thought of as annoying woman whom they somewhat respect cause I was able to do something that they couldnât.â She wasnât saying the whole truth about that one. She just left out what she could do as to why they somewhat respect her. Their customs regarding women were a bit different than Albions that was for sure. If the woman had power they were on level with most nobles and the fact that magic was more widely used in most parts. She liked travelling over there she leaned many knew tricks and also learned quite a bit about languages when she was with her family she was able to converse somewhat easily. She still fumbled if she hadnât been there for a while. The men tolerated her; the women loved her. As long as she got the job done she was able to do what she wanted but they were to stuffy for her to have any real fun unless it was with the children and animals. She clasped her hands behind her. âI am glad that I came as well.â Her original plan had been to watch the ceremony and then slip away unnoticed but Lidia and Dan had brought her so they would have been disappointed if she had left without them. Especially since she was staying with them and acting as a guard on the way back to the inn whenever they decided to return.
She raised a brow hadnât she told him this already? Maybe it was someone else. She shrugged oh well there was no use in not telling him who he was. The man was a good man. âLord Lucas Astas. He passed a few years ago.â She smiled. âHe taught me how to fight properly. Said if I had been a boy I would have made a fine knight.â She laughed at the memory, âThat man didnât even know me and he took me in and adopted me him and his wife. When there was nothing else he could teach me.â That was one of the fond memories that Camelot held for her. She had found someone to help her cope with the loss of her family and that in of its self was amazing. Seeing as how stubborn she was. She saw the smile he got at her answer about meeting Guinevère and she was not surprised at the emotion that was behind those eyes of his. What shocked her was the finality of his decision that the two of them were to meet. Did he mean now?! Granted she would love to meet the woman, she was excited even but she didnât know much about her or how she would react to her. It was a little unnerving and to be honest she didnât really know how to interact with women very well. Men yes they were easy. She had grown up around men but very few women and the few she did she wasnât around long before she had to leave. But she smiled anyways. âJust say when.â
She smiled softly. She wished that many men had his kindness. She had received it from those that she gave patronage to and helped but hardly from people she truly trusted. And from them it was rare and far in between should she ever see them again. She had scars to show that she was in battles and that the world was not kind. That humans and creature alike were dangerous. But those things didnât matter. The present did. She felt the warmth of his hands and her smile brightened. Maybe, just maybe, she found a place that she belonged.
[So sorry about the length! I got a bit carried away^^; Again Sorry!]

"Finally!" She stated as she came up to the Inn’s entrance. "I can’t believe I forgot where this place was. I've only been here more times than I could count since I've been here." She stated to herself. The tavern inside was a place to eat and drink it was also where she sold some of the trinkets that she had from her travels. Nothing to fancy just stuff that the folks could take home to their families. She was giving most of it away just for the hell of it most of the time though many still wanted to pay her. She could never understand why people thought she had to do something for money. But she had grown used to finding money stashed away among her pack.
"Oh! Kazira back today are we? What'll ya be having deary?" a feminine voice asked from behind her after she had walked in and sat down at a table with a thump. “And where’s that lovely hound of yours? Moros?”
Kazira looked up and smiled happily. "Mornin' Miss Lidia. I think I'll just have a pint of ale and the usual." She liked Lidia she was a good woman but hardnosed about things like her business and could scare the drunkest of men at times. Lidia was in her mid 40s but with the looks of a twenty year old with her brown hair and green eyes. Her husband Dan was a kind man as well he ran the place from behind the counter. Lidia ran the place from the floors that she worked. ”He’s outside I dropped something and he’s picking it up for me.” "So that'll be the deer and potatoes then?" Lidia asked with a smile and small laugh. "Dear I will never understand how you can eat that and still stay so skinny despite all of the training that you do. Or rather I'll never understand how you can eat like a man and not roll out of here. How about this time I add some fruit to your diet eh? Good."
Kazira sighed Lidia was in her no nonsense mood if she decided that you needed something you were going to get it whether you liked it or not. Moros came trotting inside a small bundle in his mouth. “And here he is now!” Kazira laughed Rubbing between her friends ears affectionately.
“Ha-ha Kazira” Moros said as he set down the package on the table. Though to others his speech sounded more like contented growls. Lidia reached down and scratched under his chin causing his tail to thump on the floor loudly. The two women laughed.
“How about I bring out a nice flank steak out for Moros as well?” she asked causing Moros to perk up and bark startling some customers.
"Alright Miss Lidia. How much will that be?"
"Kazira what have I told you?"
She sighed. "That I don’t have to pay you since I help around during the busy times. And since Moros helps protect the place at night."
"Good now I'll be back with the Ale and food. While I’m at it I'll tell Dan that you're here." With that said Lidia turned and abruptly left the table tending to the other customers and all Kazira could do was smile.
Kazira looked down at her clothes she was wearing a black pants with a white cropped to exposing much of her skin and the scars that she's acquired though none have said anything to her she knew she looked more like a mistress than a warrior but at the time that she put this on it seemed decent enough...She couldn't remember if she even had on a vest. That's when the men started to turn on the 'charm' and tried to feel her up. She ignored the drunkards but it got progressively more annoying seeing as she was talking to Lidia about some extra work. Maybe even taking up a job serving food.
"look I don't give a bloody hell that you want. Leave me alone." She stated angrily. She was trying to fight off the urge to beat the sense back into their heads and that was a fight that she was slowly losing. Her hand was itching to pull her dagger but she decided against it. With a quick hit to the back of their necks the men that were giving her trouble were passed out on the tables. She dusted off her hands. Kazira looked between the two and sighed…how was she going to get them out of there?
Thank you Kazira, Lidia paused from her place by the door. "I dont think that serving would be a good option for you."
I dont think so either. She admitted sheepishly. Now how am I going to get them out? Moros and I arent strong enough and Dan's working... Kazira muttered to herself Moros sitting next to her with a look of horror almost etched onto his canine face. There was no way he was going to carry men on his back outside. No way in all of Albion would he do that.
The others are Lushes and have burried themselves into their drinks. Lidia finished. "Deary you best figure it out. Your mess. You clean it up." Kazira sighed and there was hardnosed, no-nonsense lidia. She turned her attention back to the two men. So...How was she going to do this? Tag: Open Time: Evening Season: gap between 1st and 2nd

She smiled lightly. He was a nomad no matter what title he had or the clothing he wore. Walls are too restrictive for any length of time. She swished her drink around slightly before taking a gulp but it still seemed as if were something else. “It is tough to change quickly.” She agreed, “but it is not impossible to change.” She added as she looked around and the focused to the man before her. They were different yet alike. Similar in many ways that are obvious but different in ways that are not. She knew how to adapt quickly especially to critical emotional events…But humans in general have different coping strategies to handle the stress and challenges life brings about. Maybe Lancelot hadn’t found his yet? “You have to change slowly let things flow and move as they are.” She paused and smiled thoughtfully. “You should be like a river. Its always moving––changing. Its hard to keep it behind walls. “She gave him a meaningful look.”It always has a way to escape to the outside. It may not be the most obvious course or choice but being adaptable is part of being a nomad. And others do not understand this. But there is a time when one must settle.”
Moros looked at Kazira like she had gone nuts. When did she become the woman who had all of the wise words to say? When did she grow up? Moros watched Kazira’s face carefully and saw that she was watching the man––studying him more like it. Moros turned his heads towards the knight…he couldn’t for the life of him remember his name… what was she looking for? Was he hiding something? This man didn’t feel like a threat and his instincts weren’t usually wrong except for maybe a few people but even then they had started out fine. Just what was going on?
Kazira settled back into her chair and laced her fingers behind her neck and crossed her ankles out under the table. She had an easy going smile on her face. For the most part he seemed to be a bit shocked that she had noticed anything. While her empathy wasn’t well developed she was still able to pick up on things and even without it she was observant. More observant in her older years than when she had first started out. If they had met when she was younger. She wouldn’t have noticed a single thing but she’s had to learn to read people more than she would have liked and it became an ingrained instinct to pay attention to those around her. It could get her killed if she didn’t watch who she was working with. “No I didn’t read you,” She denied half heartedly. “I’m just able to see things that others don’t want to be seen.” She stated somewhat cryptically. If it’s a problem that a man has what do you suppose it involves or involed? She thought the question over somewhat. It was obviously a girl but she wanted to play with him a bit. Who wouldn’t if the opportunity was laid right at their feet like a perfect gift? “Well it obviously involves a woman so either you couldn’t get it up or she’s in love with someone else.” She had a feeling it was the second one but the first respose was to get him to either laugh or turn pink and/or get really angry at her. At his statement about how he was going to keep secrets from her? Well…She didn’t have a good answer other than…”Blind fold me?”
“Well,” She giggled seeing his face flush slightly. Who knew that he was so easy to embarrass? It wasn’t like had groped her during the fight. “what do I have to do to get you’re heart into a fight? Be a man?”She laughed and turned her head away dramatically her left hand outstretched as if to push him away and the back of her right wrist to her forehead. “Sorry lad, but no matter how ‘fond’ of magic this land is I wont use it to change genders just to have a good fight.” She Laughed and dropped her hands. She was glad that he had come around. She hadn’t relaxed at all since she took the job and this was the first time in a while that she was able to act silly with any human besides Lidia and Dan who only shook their heads and didn’t really know her…Well Lancelot didn’t either but he knew her better than the Inn owners did. She was slightly confused though after she got over the shock. He would actually be displeased if she got hurt? She gave up the thought was going to drive her insane if she continued down that road.
Moros looked at his friend and was as confused as she was. This man had only met her a handful of times. Not that it mattered to Kazira. If she declared him a friend she would stick to it unless they tried to kill her…which amazingly not all of her friends tried to do. He idly wondered what she would have done if she had been in Camelot during the time of the battle. But didn’t dwell on it, it was the past and it was something that you couldn’t change. Besides she was making something for the human brat she met. For their birthday! He couldn’t believe she was going to give up her mother’s silk!
She smiled at the mention of a challenge. “A challenge it is.” She waved Lidia over. “Lidia!” She smiled, “You’re best and strongest Ale. It seems that this knight wants a challenge with little ‘ole me.” She stated with a laugh. “Oh dear. I tell Dan to clear the stairs tonight. Can’t have you walking into walls again? Now can we?” Lidia smiled as she arrived at the table.
Kazira flushed when her friend mentioned her walking into the walls. It was hard walking up stairs when you are drunker than a drunkard and trying to walk to your room while everything is spinning. But! She had won the challenge! No one here had beaten her. Of course that’s not to say that she hasn’t lost before just not there. “Lidia!” Kazira jumped up and clamped a hand over the woman’s mouth laughing. It was times like these that she missed. Times like these that she wished she traveled with other people.
