"Finally!" She stated as she came up to the Inn’s entrance. "I can’t believe I forgot where this place was. I've only been here more times than I could count since I've been here." She stated to herself. The tavern inside was a place to eat and drink it was also where she sold some of the trinkets that she had from her travels. Nothing to fancy just stuff that the folks could take home to their families. She was giving most of it away just for the hell of it most of the time though many still wanted to pay her. She could never understand why people thought she had to do something for money. But she had grown used to finding money stashed away among her pack.
"Oh! Kazira back today are we? What'll ya be having deary?" a feminine voice asked from behind her after she had walked in and sat down at a table with a thump. “And where’s that lovely hound of yours? Moros?”
Kazira looked up and smiled happily. "Mornin' Miss Lidia. I think I'll just have a pint of ale and the usual." She liked Lidia she was a good woman but hardnosed about things like her business and could scare the drunkest of men at times. Lidia was in her mid 40s but with the looks of a twenty year old with her brown hair and green eyes. Her husband Dan was a kind man as well he ran the place from behind the counter. Lidia ran the place from the floors that she worked. ”He’s outside I dropped something and he’s picking it up for me.”
"So that'll be the deer and potatoes then?" Lidia asked with a smile and small laugh. "Dear I will never understand how you can eat that and still stay so skinny despite all of the training that you do. Or rather I'll never understand how you can eat like a man and not roll out of here. How about this time I add some fruit to your diet eh? Good."
Kazira sighed Lidia was in her no nonsense mood if she decided that you needed something you were going to get it whether you liked it or not. Moros came trotting inside a small bundle in his mouth. “And here he is now!” Kazira laughed Rubbing between her friends ears affectionately.
“Ha-ha Kazira” Moros said as he set down the package on the table. Though to others his speech sounded more like contented growls. Lidia reached down and scratched under his chin causing his tail to thump on the floor loudly. The two women laughed.
“How about I bring out a nice flank steak out for Moros as well?” she asked causing Moros to perk up and bark startling some customers.
"Alright Miss Lidia. How much will that be?"
"Kazira what have I told you?"
She sighed. "That I don’t have to pay you since I help around during the busy times. And since Moros helps protect the place at night."
"Good now I'll be back with the Ale and food. While I’m at it I'll tell Dan that you're here."
With that said Lidia turned and abruptly left the table tending to the other customers and all Kazira could do was smile.
Kazira looked down at her clothes she was wearing a black pants with a white cropped to exposing much of her skin and the scars that she's acquired though none have said anything to her she knew she looked more like a mistress than a warrior but at the time that she put this on it seemed decent enough...She couldn't remember if she even had on a vest. That's when the men started to turn on the 'charm' and tried to feel her up. She ignored the drunkards but it got progressively more annoying seeing as she was talking to Lidia about some extra work. Maybe even taking up a job serving food.
"look I don't give a bloody hell that you want. Leave me alone." She stated angrily. She was trying to fight off the urge to beat the sense back into their heads and that was a fight that she was slowly losing. Her hand was itching to pull her dagger but she decided against it. With a quick hit to the back of their necks the men that were giving her trouble were passed out on the tables. She dusted off her hands. Kazira looked between the two and sighed…how was she going to get them out of there?
Thank you Kazira, Lidia paused from her place by the door. "I dont think that serving would be a good option for you."
I dont think so either. She admitted sheepishly. Now how am I going to get them out? Moros and I arent strong enough and Dan's working... Kazira muttered to herself Moros sitting next to her with a look of horror almost etched onto his canine face. There was no way he was going to carry men on his back outside. No way in all of Albion would he do that.
The others are Lushes and have burried themselves into their drinks. Lidia finished. "Deary you best figure it out. Your mess. You clean it up." Kazira sighed and there was hardnosed, no-nonsense lidia. She turned her attention back to the two men. So...How was she going to do this?
