She felt his hands tilt her face up for a kiss, and as it always did her toes curled in her shoes from the feelings his kiss involved. She had not lied when she told him earlier that even after five years his kisses still had power over her. Still make her world shift and become better with each one. So she was powerless to do anything but kiss him back, and embrace the feeling on his hands on her cheeks, and his lips on her's.

It wasn't an answer, and she'd not forgotten the question, but Guinevère was willing to let everything linger in hopes that it made it slightly more better. Breaking the kiss, but staying on her toes, near him she spoke, trying to lighten the moment and give him an emotional break from the heartache.

"I am not sure if that is a yes, or a no, but it was a good answer." Her eyes were looking into his however, trying to see what he was thinking and expecting from her. Trying to read what emotions she could and know what he needed in this moment.

He wasn't sure he was ready to end the kiss, but did not prolong it when he felt her draw back. It only took him a few additional moments to open his eyes and look deeply into hers. "I am glad you approve," he said with slight teasing, encouraging the light mood that it was clear the both of them were trying to hard to create. It was also another reminder of how things had changed so much. How it should never be difficult to have to force the mood to become light and playful. Especially with them. Had she ever held such light conversations with others in the past few years? Besides her children that it. She seemed to be missing that bright smile she often wore. He'd only caught a glimpse of it when he'd called Anna beautiful or when he had said something regarding the children. Was it only the children that were what brought forth such happiness? He hoped not.

He hoped she smiled as much as she had . . . but knew that she did not, from what she said and what he saw. Leaning forward, he lightly kissed her again, not letting it linger for too long. Just a brush of their lips. "I meant what I said before. That I want to see you happy; that I want to see you smile." With, or without him. He worried about her and all that she had been through. How her rule and attacks on her children, herself, and the kingdom as a whole had wore her down. He knew first hand how difficult that could be to bare. She had helped him through it, yet he had not been here to help her through it. Which was precisely why he was so concerned about how it had slowly wore her out. Thank goodness for the children. If it weren't for them, he could only fear what would have happened had she been left to rule this entire kingdom on her own without the joy of being a mother.

He teased her back, and kissed her again, "I meant what I said before. That I want to see you happy; that I want to see you smile." "Then stay with me." She whispered, "There is no other that I love more then you, Arthur. My brother, the other knights, Merlin . . . No one compares." She loved him. Always would, and in a way always had.

Her hands moved from his chest, to the waist line of his trousers, pulling his shirt up from there so her hands could slide up over his skin. "I don't know how long your hear for, but stay with me. Hold me for an hour in here, away from everyone. . . . " Her hands traveled up over his chest before sliding down slowly. "Love me . . . hold me like you're by husband, and I am your wife." Like things were meant to be.

If he did leave her, if this was only a temporary thing then she wanted a new memory to hold too. And, is possible a new child. Another drop of him in her life, another reason to make him want to stay and not stop fighting for a moment. Her hands moved back up his chest, while her eyes didn't leave his. "Give em another son to bare your name. Another reason to bring you home again." Because they both knew that one day, for one reason or another he would leave.

She only hope this brought him home. "Make me your wife again, Arthur."
