Silver
Name: Silver
Nicknames: None
Age: 8 springs
Breed: The Elder Breed
Appearance: Silver is a little above the average height of horses as he stands at a 16.2 hands, meaning from his hooves to his withers, is approximately 66 inches. His coat is solid white, and there is nothing breaking the white color except for the skin of his nose which is of a storm cloud gray color. Even after all that he has seen and done, Silver has no battle scars at all. His eyes are of a deep brown color, but they are often covered by an overgrown forelock. His mane and tail are rather wild looking, always disheveled and pertain a lot of knots and brambles from his travels, regardless of whether he is with Faerydae or not.
Personality: Silver usually tends to have a calm mind set, although, there are moments when he can be overcome with anger, particularly when he feels that there is a threat to him, or more likely, Faerydae. That being said, Silver is still a very clever horse which comes from being bred of the Elder breed. While he cannot talk, he still understands human words and is often quick to get himself out of sticky situations. He hates the idea of bridles and saddles so the only pad that is ever used on him is the fur of bear hide.
History: Silver was born out of the Elder breed bloodlines in the wild. The Elder breed is said to be wild horses that were blessed by the gods, making them stronger, faster, and smarter than other horses. His true name in the horse language is unknown for the name ‘Silver’ was picked up once he met up with Faerydae. He was born in the wild lands of Albion where not all kingdoms have their boundaries set up. From there, as a young foal, he followed his herd where ever they met. He was unusual for an Elder breed with the white coat, since many of the horses are often of browns, blacks, grays, and palominos. While considered an oddity though, he was never shunned. Upon becoming a yearling, Silver, like all other colts, was kicked out of the herd by his father, the lead stallion.
Leaving the herd was not a trial for the white horse; for he was not content with that of herd life and being in charge of ten mares like the rest of the other young stallions. He found himself more curious of what lies beyond that of the horse lands and the humans, and with that, Silver ventured forth. For travels, he kept himself mostly to the woods and watched the humans from afar, studying their road side ways and always kept himself careful from not being caught. When people brave enough tried to go after them, he would quickly loose them by running into the heart of the forests where known beasts lurked to shake loose his chasers.
One day, he stumbled through the Balor territory. Through the woods, he caught sight of something moving ahead. Curious, the white horse moved forward through the woods now and paused under the cover as he stared out at a girl. Little did Silver know, this human would end up being his companion throughout his travels of Albion. As he watched her, he could tell that she had been through a great ordeal and the horse simply cocked his head for a moment as she held a piece of metal up to her neck. He understood the significance of the shiny object, for it brought death to not only humans, but also common horses and other such creatures. As he stared at her, he knew what was going to happen, but Silver stepped forward now and ventured over towards the girl now, he did not understand why something so young should want to re-enter the earth. With that, he nudged her blade away and then turned around and started to head back into the woods.
For a moment, he paused and glanced back at the human girl as they met gazes for a moment before he carried on, figuring that would be the end of their meeting, but to his surprise, he heard sounds from behind. Glancing back over, the white horse saw that the girl was following him now. For some reason though, he did not turn and run away from her as he did with most humans, because there was just something simply different with her. An understanding perhaps. From then on though, Silver stayed with Faerydae as they wander the lands of Albion to their hearts content.
