Elena was not sure how she felt about this, getting a visit from Lady Aryenne Dracose. Her father said it was good to try and build up relationships in Camelot other than Arthur Pendragon, and the Dracose was a strong and prominent family in Camelot. Still, Elena could not help but to find herself having a very terrible feeling about this. Few good things could be said about the young noblewoman, actually, the princess has heard nothing but horror stories about the girl and her temper, not to mention, how she and Arthur do not get along. In fact, she sounded worse than Lady Vivian, but Elena would never say that out loud. This visit was prompted at such an odd time, out of the blue, it felt to her. In fact, she probably should not even be out riding right now, but it help calmed her nerves, this might as well be the calm before the storm.
A snort escaped the horse she was riding, a great big black shire, "I suppose you are right, we should head back," just look at her, talking to the horse. Horses don't talk, yet Elena felt that they gave her every ounce of freedom that she needed away from politics and Gawant. As much as she loved her father, and even with this astounding new sense of herself ever since the wedding, Elena still felt off about becoming Queen of her kingdom. At least, she was glad that she could do so now without a King at her side, thanks to both her and Arthur, Elena found that maybe a new set of rules was entering into Albion now. Sighing slightly, she turned her horse around in a large swing before digging her heels into his side, spurting him back towards the castle so that she could get ready.
Such a shame really that she would not get to ride for the rest of the day as she slid off the horse and handed him over. Giving one last pet, Elena headed off into the castle. Aryenne could not be a girl who liked to ride on horseback, she was probably far to pretty to do such a thing, plus she was always followed around by a wolf, or a dog, something along the lines of that. The horses would be uneased at such an animal was in their path. She walked down the hallways now, balancing out her arms as if she were walking on a tight rope to her room so that she could change into another dress, after all, she couldn't allow Aryenne to see her so messy that she would waltz back to Camelot to tell of Princess Elena's untidyness.
In her honest opinion though, Elena felt much better about herself and kept better sense of herself. Even Arthur had admitted it at his Coronoation. Tossing her dress to the side, Elena threw on a yellow dress and combed her hair before braiding in a fishtail braid. Looking herself over in the mirror once, she went back to her bed and threw her boots back on, to this day, Elena would probably never walk around in her own castle with heels on. There were trumpets sounding, Aryenne had arrived now and Elena could feel herself wondering as to what all the wonderful chatter that she would have to endue would be about. Getting up, she hurried towards the front steps just in time to see the young noblewoman now, "Aryenne! I hope you had no problems on your journey!"
