Xenia was really relieved when Nora told her that there was no problem, and that they would not cancel their plans. She really didn't want to. She was very excited with the idea of the picnic, and have been very sad if they had to cancel it. Since Nora was absorbed by her thoughts, Xenia looked around the whole room. It was filled with nobles, as well as servants, who looked happy, and really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Now she searched for her parents. Oh they were fine, they seemed to be having lots of fun.

She returned her head to Nora when she spoke to her again. She asked about her if she loves books. But before she could reply, Nora asked her if she wanted to visit the library of the castle. Her ideas made ​​her happier by the hour. Quickly she rushed to answer, "Oh my dear Nora, I love reading books very much. You could say that reading books is my life." She said with a big, sweet smile. She looked back towards Nora and answered her question of visiting the library, "I have visited the library, but it has been many years. So yes I would like to visit the library with you!"

Nora could tell that her newly made friend was relieved that she didn't need to cancel their plans. Nora smiled at the sweet Princess and her response to her question made her smile all the more.

"Oh my dear Nora, I love reading books very much. You could say that reading books is my life." Xenia answered her, with a big, sweet smile.

"Reading books is my life too!" Nora told the Princess excitedly, amazed to have found someone who loved reading books as much as her. Indeed many noble ladies did read books, but none of them actually liked discussing them or anything. She had a feeling that the Princess was very much like her in that regard.

Nora couldn't help but smile broadly again when Xenia told her that while she had been to the castle's library before she hadn't been in many years. "Well then Xenia, I would love to visit the library with you," Nora told her eagerly, before asking her, "When would you like to go?"

"Reading books is my life too!" Oh she didn't just say that. This was awesome! Nora wasn't like the other ladies, who only care was to marry a rich man and live an ordinary life. In all her kingdom, she couldn't find a lady who liked reading books like herself. But this pretty and sweet young lady was just like her. To Xenia, books were absolutely better than knitting.

Xenia couldn't stop laughing. She had no idea that when she left her castle to go in Camelot, she was going to meet a person like Nora. She gladly answered back to Nora. "Oh I would very much like to visit the library with you, too!" She smiled sweetly! "If I had my way, I would already be in the library." She knew that things like this couldn't happen. It would be very rude to leave the prince's birthday to go there. Not only that, but it wasn't good for two young ladies to walk around the castle alone at this late hour.

While she was looking around she noticed a man who was looking at them. "Oh Nora, look at him," She told her companion.

The Princess started laughing a joyous laugh and Nora had a feeling that this was a good thing. And that was confirmed when Xenia told her that she would gladly visit the library with her. "Well that's good then." Nora told her, laughing, happy that she had decided to attend the feast. For if she did not then she would not have meet this lovely person.

Nora giggled when Xenia said that if she had her way they would be there now. "I fear I have to agree with you Xenia. Though, I also do love dancing I must confess." Well that was when she was asked to accompany a gentleman to the dance floor and lately that rarely happened. Though, Nora put that down to the fact that she must be sending the wrong signal since her sister's death and her father's illness. She was not very good at hiding her despair lately.

She listened to her friend as she pointed out that someone who was looking at them. Nora discreetly turned her head towards where her friend was looking to see that indeed some gentleman was looking at them. Someone she had never seen before...

Polyxena could say that these gentleman, were pretty enough. She and Nora could not do something of course, as it was not polite, for two young ladies to ask them for a dance. She liked the fact that the young man, was looking at them, but this was making her cheeks blush. She looked back to Nora and drank a little more of her wine. She smiled sweetly to her.

She was ready to start speaking of poetry, and to ask the young Lady if she likes poetry too. When two of the gentlemen, came to their way, they greeted them, and the two ladies responded. Now, they were looking prettier and kind. Xenia was ready to ask them their names but one of them prevented her, and asked her for a dance. She was ready to respond with a big smile, when she noticed that something was troubling Nora. Then, she stopped, looked at Nora, and waited for her next move. She didn't want to go dancing and let her new friend there alone.

Both her and her new friend sneaked looks at the two gentleman that were indeed looking their way, they both were quite attractive in looks, which indeed make them both blush. However, it was improper for two ladies to approach the two gentlemen and ask them for a dance, so they waited. Nora taking another slip from her goblet, before she looked up at Xenia.

Her companion drank more of her wine and was about to talk to her about something when the two gentlemen made their way over to them and greeted them with friendly smiles. Xenia did most of the talking, not that it was much and then one of the gentlemen asked her new friend for a dance. Xenia was about to make her way with him when she paused and looked towards Nora, wondering what was wrong. But Nora was speechless, for the other gentleman did not ask her to dance. It looked like he too wanted to dance with the Princess and she did not blame him, for she was a Princess and a beautiful, kind one at that. While, her on the other hand was just an ordinary noble.

The problem was she did not know what to say or do. She was conflicted, for she knew that Xenia wanted to dance -- she could read it on her face, but on the other hand, Nora was having a wonderful time getting to know her and did not want to be separated yet.

Xenia understood that something was going wrong. She was ready to accept the young lord's proposal for dancing but she saw Nora hesitating. So she took a step closer to her new friend and tried to understand why the young lady wasn't as excited as she was. She looked again at the gentlemen and back at Nora and she finally found out that the other man hadn't asked Nora to dance with him. So she couldn't go dancing and let her new friend there alone

Polyxena tried to stifle her enthusiasm and tried to refuse his proposal. He tried to change her mind and finally to make her say 'yes', but he didn't manage it! She said politely "I'm sorry my Lord, but I think that I'm a bit hungry to dance at the moment. So if my friend wants too we are going to eat something." said and looked back at Nora waiting for her answer. Then, she looked back at the gentleman and said with a sweet voice "Maybe we will dance later, my lord." and did a small bow.

So, she turned her head back to Nora and waited to see if she wanted too to go and eat something. She was hoping that she did a good choice denying his proposal. She didn't want her new friend to feel alone
