Relief filled Isolde as they finally reached Elador, Merlin's old home apparently. Well that was what Merlin told her as he helped her walk towards his mother's home. She was still feeling quite poorly in the head so who knows what he had told her. It was hard to imagine that the servant of the King of Camelot came from an ordinary village, one very much like her own.
Though, Isolde still felt shocked by the revelation that the simpleton turned out to be none other than King Arthur himself and then a little angry when they had lost their cargo, she started to like them. Especially, after Arthur saved her life.
Eventually they made it to Merlin's mother, Hunith's house and Merlin helped her inside along with Tristan's help for he would not leave her side -- especially when she was hurt. Blood started to seep a little through her bandage and knowing that it would need attending to, she gently told Tristan if he would go outside and help gather some firewood for the fire. Nodding his head reluctantly, he went outside and Isolde was relieved. That way Merlin would have some privacy to attend to her wounds for she knew that Tristan's worried state would distract the poor boy. Which made her love him even more.
Isolde slowly sat down and waited for Merlin to attend to her, but before he did so she could not help but ask, "So this is where you grew up?" Her eyes filled with curiosity.
