Cenred had been asked to Camelot in order to talk peace between Escetia and Camelot, though he wasn’t entirely sure why he accepted the offer from Uther Pendragon he suppose it was more likely to see how these next few days would plan out. Cenred these days never left the walls of Escetia without his knights and today wasn’t different he brought with him a group of well-armed knights with him so if the talks turned south he could escape with his life. Cenred also had several more knights on the outskirts of Camelot hidden in plain sight if things turned ugly.
Call him what you like but Cenred was always cautious with things like this and he didn’t want to enter Camelot unprepared. Cenred and his knights rode into the city of Camelot, he knew that Uther knew of his arrival. Cenred stopped his horse just outside the castle itself, he grinned as he looked at the stairs leading to the Castle. Looking around he wondered where his welcome was though he wasn’t worried about it. Cenred had actually never stepped foot inside Camelot before today he normally sent other people in his place, though he wasn’t impressed with what he saw so far.
“You’d think they have someone waiting for us wouldn’t you.” Cenred grinned at one of his knight who dismounted from his horse. Cenred of course was only growing patience with each passing moment. “See to the horses I want four knight’s at my side.” Cenred explained as he continued to wait. Cenred just stood there, he kept on looking at each person that walked past him. Cenred only smiled when he heard the doors of the Castle open and close shortly afterwards. Arthur wasn't sure how he felt about this. Things were on edge between Camelot and Estecia and while Arthur knew that establishing peace was the most ideal outcome . . . it was not the most likely. The tensions between the two kingdoms were building more and more, and it seemed everyone was just waiting for that one word of war, and it would all commence. For now, Camelot avoided Estecia's lands and vice versa. Unless either were invited under peaceful terms, like right now. King Cenred was to come to Camelot so that the two kingdoms would hopefully come to some terms. Arthur of course was here as he was son of the king, but it was his father that would mostly be dealing with the negotiations. Uther had told him to keep Cenred entertained; to treat him with the utmost respect and keep him in high spirits.
Arthur didn't know exactly what that entailed, but he had yet to determine if it was an easy task, or a difficult one. The king had urgent business to attend to, hence his lacking presence, but Arthur stood there in the grand hall, knights and a few of the council men standing with him. When the doors were opened, Arthur stood straighter and more proper, his eyes resting on Cenred, King of Estecia. Arthur waited until he was closer, within earshot, before speaking to him, even taking a few steps toward the king to formally greet him. "King Cenred," he said in a strong voice. "Camelot welcomes you with open arms," he continued, extending his hand as a further polite greeting; one that would symbolize that Cenred came here as a potential friend, rather than a future enemy.

Cenred was just about to give up when a group of people arrived, though no Uther was present among the group which disappointed Cenred a bit. The knights surrounded their king as Cenred made his way into the castle of Camelot. Cenred who was gazing onto the castle for the very first time kept his eyes open, his own castle was much different to Camelot but that wasn’t worrying him it was this peace talk with Uther that was on his mind right now. Cenred followed his escort through another room that revealed to be a great hall.
Cenred’s knights moved to one side as Cenred eyed the young Prince of Camelot Arthur Pendragon. Cenred had always had a strong dislike towards the Pendragon family though he suppose that he should at least consider them. Cenred wanted the kingdom of Camelot under his rule, always has and always will. Open war was always on the cards but if he could at least get his soldiers a foothold within Camelot then that was something to work on. “The young Prince Arthur. It wasn’t much of a welcome though.” Cenred replied with a grin. Cenred looked around a moment before his eyes gazed upon Arthur once more.
“Where is Uther? I thought I would be speaking to the King during the peace talks, yet he sends a Prince.” Cenred continued. Cenred was probably provoking Arthur into an argument but he did want to see just how far he could take this and perhaps he could use it as an advantage to him in some way. Cenred extended his hand towards Arthur’s to show that he was in some form interested in peace talks. “What keeps Uther Pendragon away from such an important meeting such as this?” Cenred asked again as he looked over to Arthur.
