Anna walked out into the Gardens with her newly bought quills and inks. She had a looked around for a nice flower to draw. She saw a bunch of roses and she sat down on the stool she had brought with her. Before she began to draw she picked the one she liked the most. Anna was picky when it came to her drawings, she wanted them to be the best. This was the one thing that her father let her excel in. It was safe and lady like. That was all he ever let her do was sit and draw until her hand became sore.
Once she was settled, she began to draw. The way she drew was not normal, it was as if she was the quill and the ink was her heart. It poured out onto the page, ever stroke and every dot was coloured for some reason or an other it was beauty. She hadn't even gotten to the colours, it was just a black rose so far. She looked at the petals and smiled. Her room back home was full of them always covering the floor. Now she hadn't thought about what she would miss when she fled here. She was here now, and she wasn't going back.
Anna looked back at the drawing and picked up the green vile of ink. With a dip of a new quill she was off into a frenzy of green, the leaf, the steam. She chose a side from where the light would come from and she exhaled. Anna closed her eyes for a moment. Then opened them and reached for the red ink vile. She touched someone's finger tips. She gasped and pulled her hand away and looked up and saw the face of a knight. She simple nodded her head in acknowledgement. After a moment she looked back to her drawing and continued to add and change, modify the already beautiful drawing.

William was currently on duty. He had made his rounds around the castle met up with a few of his fellow knights as well. It was always important to be on the outlook for any danger that their may be. And always be ready if the sound of an attack was to reach his ears. Though today had been fair relaxed there was no danger to speak of. Everything was as it should be and that is how William liked it. To know there was no danger to befall Camelot. Though if there was he would prove his wroth as a knight. Jousting was often a way to prove one's courage and honor. Something he would often preform him. Sometimes he lost,\sometimes he won but he always tried to do his best. Unless perhaps his opponent was the Prince then he would let him win. William did not want to be at fault if the Prince was to lose. Most if not all saw this as the same. Always letting Prince Arthur win any torments he may be present in. Though it seemed it was not something he necessarily liked.
William began to made his rounds within the castle walls once more. As he passed the garden he saw Lady Anna he paused for a moment curious watching her paint. He was on duty and he knew he could not stray from that of his duty for to long. But he could approach the young Lady Anna. William watched Lady Anna with great interest as she started to draw he kept his distances admiring the way she choice what it was she would draw before she began to draw the rose. It was truly beautiful and a fine work of art that was before him. He watched her reach for the green vile as she began to add color to the once black rose. William made his way closer getting a good view of the rose and the art before him. It was very nice but she was a Princess he would have expected anything less that what was before him.
William came to stand a bit closer perhaps closer than he a knight should be. Even if he was of noble birth he knew this was a princess and therefore the utmost respect should be given. As her fingers brushed against hers he heard her gasp. "I hope I did not disturb you, Lady Anna." William talked with nothing but respect in his voice as he bowed his head toward her. He smiled at her nod of acknowledgement. He did not know if he was welcome within the presence of Lady Anna or not. It would take a simple wave of her hand or some other body language to send him back on his way. Which he would do without any hesitation. He had much more he could be doing. But saw no harm in seeing the artwork of Lady Anna. For it was truly beautiful and certainly amazing to watch as she began to draw and add color to the rose.

Anna didn't mind company, she was just startled.“You didn't disturb me, I just didn't think anyone was watching.” She said before looking at the half finished flower. She bit her lip in thought and her eyes drifted from the rose to her drawing. Something about it wasn't right. Perhaps it was the shade of green. She took out some more paper, this page was to test the shade of colours. She dipped the quill into the ink and let if fall to the empty page. It was, not dark enough, she took more ink and drew a line across the page. She huffed in frustration. She touched the green on her drawing it was dry. She didn't want to make it to dark and then have to start over, she hasted to do things twice. She began to hum to herself and continued on her way of colouring the rose.
Anna reached for the red vile of ink and a new quill. She played a bit with the cork or the vile. It wouldn't come off. She sighed and closed her eyes. With one last tug and the cork came off. She smiled and looked at the real rose. As She looked the colours popped out and she let her heart take over once more. The tip of the quill was colouring the petals, smoothly and genitally. With one last stroke she would be done the rose itself. “What do you think of it so far?” She asked holding it up for him to see easily. Anna was always pleased with her work, but always wanted other opinions on it.
She could guess that he would say that he loved it out of respect. She put the corks back one by one. She wasn't sure if she was going to leave the background be or not. Anna thought about this idea in her head not really paying attention to the Knight.

William smiled at Lady Anna's words. "I am glad for that M'Lady." William was very pleased to know he had not disturbed the Lady Anna. That was certainly not something he would want. He would never want to bother anyone no matter their status. But he often as expected regarded those of a higher statues with much more respect. He had admired the way she had drawn the rose and now filling it with beautiful color. It truly looked beautiful. To be drawn by a princess William truly did not expect anything less. And he would say it was nothing less than beautiful even if it was not. It was so very important to show the utmost respect to everyone. Though William was happy to be given the chance to watch as Lady Anna drew the rose before him. It was not something he could achieve in the grace and beauty Lady Anna was showing. It was very much impressive to watch and see. To see her add color and just the right amount to show a lighting to the rose. To make it look very real was a wonderful opportunity. Something he had not expected in his round through the castle. Though he knew he could not spend much time he was on duty and making sure the castle was safe was very important to him.
Even if William had limited time he continued to watch with great interest as Lady Anna finished the roes. He smiled a bit more as she requested his opinion on the artwork before him. It was even more impressive with a better view. William smiled at Lady Anna before him looking at the finished rose void of a background but very beautiful in itself. "It is truly very lovely M'Lady." William truly believed this but to say anything else would have been quiet disrespectful. But even so it's what he truly believed. It was very lovely, indeed, a lot of work to making it just right. Something very few could really achieve in a such a way as Lady Anna seemed to bring. He had seen her choose just the right rose before she began her artwork. And watching was very unlike any others he had seen with the stroke of a brush. He had not seen many paint but to see such was a wonderful even indeed. "Just as you are." William said complementing the Lady before him. For she too was very lovely indeed. But given her status she was expected to be at all times.
