Rochette woke up to the sound of something hitting the ground. Must be a hunting trip... She thought and rolled over unhappily, not like herself, this was one of those days where she wanted to be left alone, one of the days where the curse was kicking in. She rubbed her right arm and got up anyway. Mystery looked at Rochette as if to say, is it acting up again? Rochette nodded in reply. "I'm just not in the mood to be bothered today." She petted his nose, then began to pack up. Dagger, Check, Bow and Arrows, Check, Sword, Check, Bed roll, Check. She mentally checked off everything in her list of things, which was fairly long. Rochette had forgotten many things in the past, such as her past... She couldn't even remember her last name...which was never a real good thing to forget, or who her parents were or her brothers... She wasn't even sure she had brothers!
The sound was getting louder and she began to move faster. Until the sound stopped and a male voice was making orders of some sort. She bumped into trees and bushed making everything move as if she was an animal being hunted down, that, after all, was how she felt that every moment, suddenly an arrow shot pass her head.Time of day├ Early morning Tagged├ Arthur and any other knights Time line├ Mid season two Outfit├ Clicky!

Arthur had quite a bit on his mind -- as always -- and what better way to relax than to engage in some good ol' sporting fun: hunting! That was indeed great fun for the Prince and today, he was running ahead of the others who had decided to accompany him. He was without his servant today, not something that happened often, so Arthur felt a little odd having to carry his own things rather than have Merlin doing it for him. Oh well. He would distract himself while preying on the wildlife that inhabited these woods. And what timing . . he heard something rustling through the leaves . . . but it was no animal. It was a faint voice, very soft, and most certainly human. "Who goes there?" he asked in a commanding tone. When he received no reply, his guard was raised.
He put on his horse and started to follow the figure that was clearing fleeing. He had his crossbow in his hand and while he ran, shot an arrow. He was not trying to kill the person, he was just trying to scare them into stopping. It may just be a citizen of Camelot . . . or it may be a dangerous intruder and Arthur was not willing to take that risk for he did not want any potential harm to come to his people. As he urged his horse to go faster, he shot another arrow, this time slightly missing her. He did not want to go too far, but he hoped that was warning enough. "I command you to stop, right this instant!"

Rochette dogged the second arrow, then muttered something under her breath and walked out with her sword drawn. "Listen to me. I am not in the mood to be pushed around, by some nuisance. Understand? If you want a fight, then fight me, but I'll warn you, I cheat." She smirked at him, and spun the sword around in her hand and stood in a ready position, her eyes red as blood."Or are you afraid?" She hissed, not taking her eyes off him.
Mystery heard Etta's voice and a male's as well? He Trotted out from behind her, seeing her eyes, he look at the other being and saw Arthur, suddenly he stood in between them. He looked right at Arthur telling him to run for his life, but Rochette began to open her mouth to tease once again.

When Arthur saw the person, he immediately regretted shooting the arrow. It was a woman! And he was always brought up to respect them and show them nothing but courtesy. He was about to apologize for the arrow going so near her, when she drew her sword and spouted off defensive remarks. Arthur looked at her in disbelief. Had she just called him a nuisance?! And on top of that . . . call him a coward? He stayed on his horse. He did not know her and therefore, did not know how unpredictable she was. He was not going to fight a woman though. Absolutely not.
"Do you know who you are addressing?" He asked, not in a rude or threatening tone. He wondered if she was that unfamiliar with the land that she did not recognize him as the Prince of Camelot. "Perhaps next time you should consider stopping rather than fleeing so you aren't put in danger. I see no reason for this to turn into a sword match. Tell me, where have you traveled from, and what is your business in Camelot?" Arthur needed to know for the sake and protection of his people.

Just before She was about to insult him once again. He had asked her "Do you know who you are addressing?", but she ignored him. Then he asked her Where she had come from and why she was here. "I don't remember anything at all..." She relaxed her stance and thought for a moment, thinking of something else to say, she was becoming more calm.
Her horse on the other hand was freaking out inside. He wanted to tell Arthur to leave before she attacked him, but being a horse, and not being able to talk didn't help that situation. He didn't want the prince to die, nor his master thrown in the dungeons. So he decided to knock Arthur off his horse.

When Arthur was forcefully knocked off his horse, he quickly got up and began to brush himself off. "Control your animal," he said in a slightly agitated voice. He would have been more outwardly irritated had she not been a woman. Despite her disrespectful remarks, Arthur was still brought up to treat them honorably and courteously so unless she attempted to kill him, he would not sway from being civilized. But perhaps he should make his identity known since she seemed to completely ignore his question.
"I am Prince Arthur of Camelot. The land you walk on is ruled by my father, King Uther." That ought to demand some more respect, for he would not be spoken to in such a way. He had thrown men in dungeons before for calling him that. A good example was Merlin, when mouthed off insults to him. Arthur did not take too well to that, and made no secret when he tossed the servant into the dungeon. "Now," he continued in a tone that suggested he was going to carry on with business. "What do you mean you do not remember your business here, or where you come from? Surely you must have some idea." He was getting more and more suspicious by the second. He did not get back on to his horse, though he stood next to it, with the animal's reigns in his hands so that he would be able to quickly mount him again if need be.

"Oh, Sorry about him. He, ah, isn't normally like this." She grabbed the rains to calm him down, Mystery looked at her, then stalked off ripping the rains away from her grasp. "Arthur?" She whispered. "Prince Arthur of Camelot..." She muttered again, deep in thought. "I'll figure out where I heard you before later", She muttered mainly to herself, "...but all I remember was a red flash of light...then I woke up here in Camelot...I've been wandering ever since." She whispered towards her feet realizing that she was talking to Arthur, Prince of Camelot. All she knew was that this conversation, if you could call it a conversation after what she had called him, was about to go down hill.
"I must warn you...after what ever had happened to me, I'm never in my right of mind. I kill people, for no real reason, they just get me angry and I strike...I think someone did this to me... Someone more powerful and skillful in-" She wasn't going to tell him that she was skillful in magic, after all his father is Uther. Witchcraft isn't a skill you would want to tell him. Not smart, and she knew that, but being nice was hard to do when being questioned.

Well finally. This conversation was turning more into a polite one, rather than a rude, intense one. Arthur had thought that too soon however, since she answered her question with a confusing reply. He grew even more wary of her. Had she just confessed to murder? He could not let this go, though he was relieved that his fellow knights were not present while she said this for it bought him time to further question her. He knew that if he just brought her back to Camelot, his father may not give a fair trial . . . Arthur did not want to condemn anyone unless he was absolutely positive that they were guilty of their crime. He ignored everything else she had said, and just focused on the matter of murder.
"You have just confessed to murder. I can not ignore this, but I will give you the benefit of explaining yourself. Start with your name, and continue on from there." Arthur had his hand on the handle of his sword, not being subtle about it as he wanted her to know that he was prepared in case she just to attack, or make a run for it. He could not let her escape at this moment; not until he knew for certain she was not a threat to his father's kingdom. "More powerful and skillful in . . . what?" he asked, his tone demanding an end to that sentence.

"I'm Rochette ▬ Do you not listen to what else I have said! I don't mean to! Some witch put some spell on me! I can't control what I do! I thought I could being a witch myself but ▬" She stopped herself and slowly began to walk back ward, letting her sword drag on the ground, she muttered something before saying, "Listen, I mean no harm, to you, your Father or your people, I'll leave, I won't come back...Just don't kill me." The ground began to rumble, something she had learned long ago in her past that was very vague. A distraction that was what she needed.
"Sorry to leave so soon, but I'd rather live as a fugitive then be dead, I'm sure you'd understand if you where in my position." She then whistled for her horse to come, Who came and looked at Arthur with a sorry and dashed off with Rochette.

She had confessed to murder. She had confessed to being a witch. And while she asked for understanding and empathy, claiming that Arthur would only understand if he were ever in her place, he could not so easily let her go. He was going to draw his sword, but when the ground began to rumble, he was more focused on maintaining his balance. Her distraction had worked, and next he saw, she had fled the scene. Arthur could not just let her run off. While he did not always agree with his father's strict punishments on those who practiced sorcery, she had already presented herself as a threat by admitting she was under a spell, and therefore had no control over her actions -- if that in fact were true -- . If she harmed anyone, it would be Arthur's fault for not stopping her.
He quickly mounted his horse, and frantically followed her. He knew the danger he was entering. While he may be a highly skilled knight, magic was something he could never predict nor anticipate. He was only familiar with some kind, but he was no naive enough to believe that he could take on all kinds of magic. There was so much he did not know about it. And that is what made him uneasy about hunting down sorcerers, and in this case, a witch. But that uneasiness did not diminish any of his determination to find her.

Rochette looked back to see Arthur following her. She sighed unhappily, She stood up on her saddle and took out her bow and arrows, although not the smartest idea, she maintained balance, but If Arthur was so much as to slightly move her she would fall off. She shot an arrow almost hitting Arthur. She wait for a second before shooting an other one, this time hitting him. She smiled and sat back down. This could work out for me. I just have to convince him of my innocence, but then again...I have hit him with an arrow and used magic ▬ Her thoughts where cut off by her horse, who was turning back towards Arthur.
"What are you doing!" She hit his neck with her hand. She muttered something and Mystery, unwillingly, began to turn around, he neighed in protest, but she didn't care, she was getting angry and all three of them were in great danger. Rochette was being taken over by the spell and her normally good powers were diminishing as they always did when she began angry, she was losing herself.

Arthur was following the dangerous stranger, and next thing he knew an arrow hit him. He cringed in pain, stopping his horse. It had pierced his arm, and if he had been wearing armor, the wound would not have been so deep. Unfortunately, his other men weren't around. And Merlin wasn't here other . . . of all days that he decided not to bring along his servant! Arthur broke the arrow in half, trying to do it quickly, otherwise, he may not be able to do it at all. He just hoped she had not magiced it in any way. It would be all the more difficult to cure. Once the arrow was shortened, Arthur wrapped something around it. He could not pull it out without the necessary medical supplies around -- nor did he have any sort of medical expertise. His actions right now were based on survival skills, and techniques he would have used on a battleground. He wanted to wait longer before following her but he knew he could not let her get too far ahead of him, so he would just wait a few moments to grow accustomed to the pain he was experiencing right now.

Rochette looked back and saw that Arthur had stopped. She paused and though about it. Why did he stop? It was just getting fun. She smiled at this thought. Her eyes wild and full of joy, and passion to kill. "Come on Arthur! What are you waiting for?" She teased. She jumped off Mystery and took out her sword once again, Walking towards him. “Well?” She hissed. "Are you going to do anything at all? Or did I hurt you?" She Growled. She had an urge to fight, to kill.
Mystery ran right past Rochette and in front of Arthur. He gave Arthur a look that said: Run while you still can. Before she kills you. Panic ran through Rochette, so she muttered more words of the old religion And the beast came to her.
