She was teary eyed and worried about Her. Morgana didn't want to leave Guinevère behind, if anything happened to Gwen Morgana would never forgive herself. She was dirty and sweaty, scared and she couldn't speak a word. Huffing and puffing from running she saw the rode where she and Guinevère where captured. She wasn't sure what had happened but that yell of one of Hengist's men was ringing in her ears.
As she got closer to the rode someone jumped out in front of her. Arthur, thanks goodness! He was looking stunned to see her. She was shaking at this point and gasping for air. Drawing every breath in as if it was her last. She feared more that Gwen was dead and she would loose her friend of ever. Arthur would never let that happen, and she hoped that Uther would as well. Morgana need Guinevère more then anything and she owed Gwen her life.

When Guinevère and Morgana had not returned that day, Arthur feared the worst. He did not hesitate for a moment when his father ordered him to send out a search for her. Both women that he loved -- in different ways -- were out there, and Arthur's instincts told him they were in danger. It was not like them, nor the guards, to stay out this late just to a pilgrimage to Morgana's fathers grave which was not that far. Something was gravely wrong, and so Arthur jumped on his horse and rode as fast as was possible. It did not take long to determine what had happened. They found the site where the ambush had taken place, and Arthur hopped off his horse, looking around at the dead knights. He looked at one of the swords, recognizing it as Mercian craftsmanship.
Though he concealed it, he was truly afraid and truly worried for both of them. The only thing that gave him a glimmer of hope was the fact that neither of their bodies were here, and that Merlin found a ransom note. Arthur was not ready to ride back to Camelot and present it to this father. No. He was going to find the men who did this and make them suffer terribly. He began to lead the men through the more inconvenient areas of the woods, when he suddenly froze. There was someone running, and this put him even more on alert than before. He held up his hand to silence the other knights, and took out his cross bow. He quickly moved behind a tree, and when he heard the footsteps loud enough to be in range, he jumped out and aimed the bow at ----
MORGANA! She was here! She was . . . not dressed properly. Wait, what had they done to her?! Arthur was about to demand to know, feeling the anger inside, but it did not take long for his thoughts to become distracted at the realization that she was alone. "Where's Guinevère?" He blurted out. Morgana was here, she was safe. And while that provided massive relief to him, his relief was short lived because the other woman he loved and cared for was still out there in danger. He quickly threw the crossbow on the floor and approached the disheveled and frazzled woman. Yes, the men who did this to Morgana . . . and the men who still had Gwen . . . were going to pay.

She had no idea where Gwen was. Tears came to her eyes, she cold speak not a word. She didn't want to believe that Guinevère was in danger. Morgana wished she knew where they where taking Gwen. That terrible man! She was glad that she had punched him and she wished that she could hit him again. Arthur would do that for her if she didn't have the chance to, which she knew she didn't. Uther was worried obviously or he wouldn't have sent Arthur. She was grateful that he had, she wasn't more happy to see the immature being more then she was now. Morgana knew when it came to her safety or anyone's that was close to him, he wouldn't stop until they where safe back in arms reach.
Morgana looked at Arthur, she realized that she wasn't in the most appropriate clothing. She blushed, but continued to worry on in her head. She let a emotionless face come upon her. She couldn't stop thinking about Gwen and what they could be doing to her. She was still shaking from fright and worry she wanted Guinevère and to be back on her way to Camelot. âArthur?â

She was missing. Guinevère was still missing. Arthur wanted to keep searching. He did not want to sleep or rest or do anything until Gwen was safely home. But he took one look at Morgana and knew he could not do that. He needed to take her home. She was a mess. Physically and emotionally. He hated seeing her like this. After growing up with her, she meant a great deal to him and to see her this upset, this traumatized, it made him guilty for allowing this to happen, and infuriated at the men who did it. He needed to calm himself so that he could help calm her down. Though he was still extremely panicked and worried. They had least found her; it was a start. He needed to find Guinevère as well though; he would never forgive himself if something happened to her.
He called for one of the men who had been keeping hold of his horse, and quickly went over to the animal. Arthur took his cape off of the horse, as it was placed over the saddle, and went back over to Morgana, this time closer to her than before. He draped it over her so that it would provide her with warmth, comfort, and security as he did not want her to have to walk through the woods dressed like she was. "Morgana," he said in a gentle, calm voice. It took all of his own strength to calm his voice and speak with composure for his mind and heart were racing. "You're safe now. Nothing is going to happen to you. I won't let it." He wouldn't let it. . . not this time. Oh how he hoped those men came right now, looking for her, so that he could deal with them and give them what they deserved.
