Arthur slowly opened his eyes, blinking in long drawn out motions. He felt everything still spinning around him, a splitting headache deep within his head. He groaned as he attempted to lift his upper body off the cold, stone ground, and it immediately made him want to lay back down. Nevertheless, he sat upright and looked at his surroundings. It took him several moments to orientate himself, trying to recall the most recent events that led him to . . . wait, where the hell was he? As his vision became less blurry and cleared, he began to take in his surroundings. He was . . . oh right! The castle tour. His sister had insisted on coming here. Why, he had absolutely no idea.
He had some fun with it though. He'd hide behind the corners of the hall, pop out and scare her. The tour guide even thought it was amusing. But apparently, she didn't because she had probably dropped him here as some ridiculous prank. He rolled his eyes at the thought, finally raising himself off the ground, nearly losing his balance but managed to catch himself. Shaking his head a little, he looked around again, realizing that he was in some sort of cage, and trying to find where the nearest exit was. This castle was enormous and it was quite easy to get lost, so his sister had better be at the top of the stairs waiting. She had started a war.
As he began to go up the stairs -- and more stairs, and more -- he finally saw a hall way, after the seemingly endless stair cases filled with torches. The hallways were no more helpful; they all looked the same! He took a guess and went right, not sure where he was going and yet, somehow knowing at the same time. He was about to shout out when he heard footsteps approaching. Thank goodness! It was about bloody time. He continued to walk toward them, as they seemed to be coming his way, and when he came face to face with who they were, he had to refrain from snickering. A group of about 5 men, dressed in capes and armors. "Sire," they greeted respectfully. 5 guys dressed like knights, and ones who took their daytime jobs way too seriously.
"Yeah, right, whatever. Look, can you tell me how to get back to the main entrance?" The men looked at him, puzzled. "My Lord?" They questioned, clearly confused. Arthur once again, found himself holding back from rolling his eyes. This was getting more and more ridiculous. He was about to ask again, when one of the men seemed to remember something. "The queen is looking for you." Oh, so Morgana his lovely sister was a queen now was she? Well, Arthur was about to get back at her for this horrid prank. "Thanks," Arthur grumbled as he walked past them, still having no idea where he was going, and wasn't going to try and ask those easily confused workers either. This was getting to be irritating. All he could do was walk on and on, going up some more stairs, going down endless hallways and corridors, and still having no clue where anyone was.
