[smear:#ff0000]The Taste Of[/smear:#ff0000:0] DEATHThis was not the first time she had tasted death on the tip of her tongue. Slowly, she was dying, but that didn't mean that she wasn't aware of her surroundings at times. Uther had visited her on more than one occasion, and Gaius was always around, but of course no one was able to do anything. Honestly, she thought this was it -- surely she couldn't cheat death again, right? No, she didn't think it would be possible. Whenever she was able to, she listened out to most conversations which were usually muffled due to them not being around her. Well, all but one time. Uther was there this time. She could feel him. Her fingers twitched, and her eyes flickered as she tried to fight the urge to move, but that was all she was able to do.
[smear:#ffffff]Morgana is my daughter.[/smear:#ffffff:1] Those words hit her like a ton of bricks, and she continued to listen as he explained that possibility. Oh she was angry. No! She was infuriated. Though she was going to give him that chance to explain or at least tell her before she would think on her next move. Then she faded again, and the voices were just mere echoes.
Her eyes snapped open, and a gasp escaped her lips. Emerald hues flickered to all that was around her, and the first person she saw was Gaius. "Gaius how I--" She stopped what she was saying, letting the shock settle in. She tried to sit up, but she was still too weak to do so. It wasn't long until the news was sent out to both the King and the Prince. The Lady of Camelot was Alive.
