Guinevère was blindfolded, and being held hostage by the chief. Not in any sort of evil way, but more in an eager way. She was sitting on a stool in the kitchens of the castle they all were visiting, and the local chief was spoon feeding her some of his creations to see if she could guess what was in them. It was rather fun at the moment, and Gwen was enjoying trying to guess.
The royal family came here to visit the king and queen of this kingdom since they were at peace with them. Guinevère attended because her lady did so. She saw it as an adventure, and this part was testing her adventurous side. She was putting allot of trust into the stranger to not feed her something horrid, and so far it was worth while. He was an amazing cook. At one point in her blindfolded conversation with the cook, she hinted that his sauce might could use more tomatoes. He laughed at her and his voice faded. Had he just left her blindfolded? "Hello?" She called out, and wondered if she should take the blindfold off. "Are you still there?"

Evelyn was tired. She had just finished a performance, quite surprised to see Arthur Pendragon and his family again. It had been pleasant, she supposed, but she was glad to get away. A servant had directed her toward the kitchen and so she went, her bare feet silent upon the wooden floor. While her feet were silent, the bracelets on both her ankles and wrists jingled slightly as she walked, as did the few bells woven in her hair. She was glad when she reached the kitchen, though disappointed to not see the cook. Evelyn had heard he was a great chief and was eager to try some of his food. What she did find surprised her though. She chuckles as she heard the blindfolded girl call out.
"You know, you look quite silly," Evelyn said, going behind the girl and untying the blindfold for her. She came back before the girl smiling. The girl was pretty and obviously not a noble by her dress. Evelyn could have sworn she had seen this girl before though, quite a while ago. She thought for a moment, studying her before grinning and snapping her fingers.
"You're Lady Morgana's servant girl, aren't you? Guinevère right?" she asked nicely before turning and looking at the food laid out. This all smells delious. Picking up a strawberry, she turned back to the girl.
"Why are you down here though, blindfolded in the kitchen instead of upstairs with your Lady?" she asked before taking a bite of the strawberry.

Guinevère heard he female voice and felt someone un-tieing the blindfold. She stood up from her stool and smiled. "Everyone calls me Gwen." She offered thinking the name Guinevère sounded to formal for a servant, only one person ever called her by her full name and sometimes Gwen wondered why he even did it. "The Lady Morgana was at the feast right now. I have a few hours to my self." In Camelot she would have joined Morgana, but here she had not.
Gwen knew that different kingdoms had different standards for servants and until she knew what boundaries they had here she was not about to cross any of them. Servants might have been allowed, but until someone said so, Gwen wasn't going up. "The chief was just amusing me with his tasty treats but seemed to have left me here." Gwen thought she knew this woman as well, but could not place the face at the moment.

Evelyn nodded as Guinevère explained why she was down here instead of in the hall. She leaned against the counter, listening as the girl before her talked. She grinned.
"I've heard good things about this chef and I had hoped to try some of his food after my performance. No such luck though, it seems," she said with a good hearted laugh. She was in high spirits, as she always was after a good performance. She continued to nibble on the strawberry, the sweet flavor blooming in her mouth. She still felt loose, like she could dance the night away and never stop. Tonight was an especially good performance and she was paid handsomely; in both money and reputation.
âIt seems you were luckier than I though. Was he a good a cook as he is believed to be?â Evelyn asked with a light laugh. Yes, she was truly in high spirits today.

"He was delicious," Gwen told her, "I believe he might back." Surely he had not planned on leaving her blindfolded here alone for more then a few moments. "If you wait for him, I am sure he would feed you." Perhaps he only went to take a tray or something up the feast? Gwen could feel the good mood of the dancer and was drawn in to it. She smiled brightly in return.
"I am sure that if we poke around some, we might find of leftovers what he has served to the nobles." She added on with a bit of a shy yet mischievous laugh. Gwen would not have suggested that they do this if she was not sure that the chief would not mind. She was not quite that brave, but he had been such a kind man and keep force feeding her, Gwen felt that he would laugh and join them more then he would care.
