.:Name of Character:. Victoria Elizabeth Montague .:Nick Name:. Call her by one and thou shalt loose an eye. .:Age:. Forty Six .:Race:. Camelotian .:Status:. Nobility
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:.
Although a woman of her mid forties Victoria is still quite an attractive woman. She has very feminine and delicate features especially in her face. Her eyes are a crystal clear sky blue, they are actually quite frightening at times. Her eyes give away any sort of emotion she is feeling even if she is trying her hardest to put up a facade of some sort. Her eyes are of normal shape and size, but are by no means average because of her coloring. Her skin is quite pale and is kept clear because of her conscientious behavior when it comes to going out of doors. Her cheeks naturally have a bit of rose to them which prevents her from looking washed out. Her hair is a bright blonde and is normally pulled back, out of her way. If it is not it is left down, obviously, therefore it has a natural wave.
She is quite tall standing at five feet eleven inches, and is very slim weighing one hundred twenty pounds. Her figure is quite feminine and a bit frail. Physically she is very weak, even though she likes to think otherwise, and would never win in physical fight. Her height is, at times, intimidating because she is very tall for a woman.
Her style of dress is nothing short of noble. Her clothes are very feminine and very fashionable. Victoria considers appearance very important. She takes a fancy to colors such as shades of silver and blues and rarely ever wears pink or red. Although her dresses are suitable for a woman of her stature they are refined and very elegant. She is not a fan of frills and bows and likes to come off in a simplistic yet elegant way.
.:Height:. 5'11" .:Portrayed by:. Nicole Kidman

.:Personality:.
Victoria is extremely charismatic. She has a way of talking to people and having them instantaneously like her. Her physical appearance is what most pinpoint when they find themselves liking her for no legitimate reason but others say it is her elegant and influential way with words. It is no question Victoria has one of the most skilled tongues in Camelot. She is insanely diplomatic and can persuade even the most stubborn of people. She does it through knowledge. She tries her hardest to get educated on whatever the topic is. This is sort of her favorite part of diplomacy. She likes to learn facts and she especially likes to broaden her horizons. Her intellect is very involved and quite deep. She is not only book smart but also logically and strategically quite bright. She learned her logic from her father and her silver tongue from her mother.
Although diplomacy is definitely considered her best aptitude Victoria is also quite patient and considerate. She does not judge a person even if they do something she really doesn't like. Instead she likes to get to know them before drawing conclusions (even then she can be easily convinced otherwise). Her calm disposition is very useful when dealing with aggressive and rather emotional people. She often helps others with their problems because she is a patient listener and a logical thinker. She often gives good advice and even when she can't give advice she is a great person just to talk to. One of her greatest morals is loyalty so anything said to her is kept in one hundred percent complete confidence.
Her mind is open and willing to listen to both sides of an argument. This can cause misreading especially when one side thinks they have her support. She merely likes to get the facts straight from both sides. Through hearing opinions from each side she can logically pick out the propaganda from the truth. Through this she can form judgments and choose a side. She often tries not to choose a side but tries to be the peacemaker. Even she knows that war and fighting can't be avoided in all situations, but in many it can. She considers many outbreak of war to be lack of communication and lack of understanding.
She is physically very weak. She wouldn't win in any sort of physical fight nor would she ever enroll in one. She doesn't complain about being weak and wouldn't ever put time into becoming a good fighter because she knows she would never be one. Even though she appears to have an understanding of her limits she is quite ignorant about them. Stupidity does get the best of her at times when it comes to her physical strength. Sometimes her understand is astray and she doesn't understand that anyone in the castle could pick her up and basically snap her in half. She has found herself in many tough circumstances because of her physical ignorance.
Truthfulness is very key to her. Sometimes she is far too blunt for her own good. She never keeps the truth from people because she doesn't think that it will accomplish anything whatsoever. She is not afraid to tell the truth even to someone of higher authority than her. However, she does not say it in a rude or ostentatious way. She is, as stated, very diplomatic and charismatic so her truth and bluntness comes across in a way that is almost appealing.
When it comes to romance and love Victoria is a lost horse. She does not know how to verbally express her emotions to anyone and often blushes and runs away. She tries to hide herself within her books and other people's problems that she herself does not see her own. Her lack of ability to express emotion is a very big problem for her. Someday she will have to learn to tear down her walls of logic and intellect.
.:Strengths:.
DIPLOMATIC: Victoria has a way with words and way with getting her way with them. Her parents were both very influential people in the Royal Court so she learned from the best. She has a way of convincing people to do things without them second guessing her. She often gets what she wants with her silver tongue and is highly persuasive. What she lacks in muscle and man power is replaced with her ability to talk to people. She is not known to use her persuasive skills for bad but when she believes her family or stature is at risk she will.
INTELLIGENT: Although a woman, Victoria is extremely intelligent. Her mind thinks logically and soundly. She herself can come up with battle strategies that work (even though she can't fight herself). She is analytical and can take a problem and solve it piece by piece to get an answer that it more than sufficient. She also tries her hardest to learn new things for herself and is constantly found in the books attempting to add new information to her mind.
PATIENT: Victoria is an extremely patient and level headed woman. Her father was very hot headed and she had to learn to control her temper as a little girl or risk getting yelled at. She can calm most people when they are ready to do something out of pure rage. She is very good at listening to people who are distressed and find a way to solve whatever problem they might be facing.
OPEN MINDED: Generally Victoria tries her hardest to get both sides of the argument without forming a biased opinion. Her open mindedness sometimes gets her into trouble and at times can be misleading. Overall it is quite good because it helps her maintain a cool, calm, and collected head. This trait also allows her to listen to policies she herself might agree with without getting emotional or defensive.
.:Weaknesses:.
PHYSICALLY WEAK: In a fight of any sort, that is physical, Victoria would be easily defeated. She can't fight at all and does not pretend that she can. Her body is built in a frail manner and she herself does not have the desire to be able to fight. Duels of the mind and of the mouth pleasure her more than lancing or sword fighting.
BLUNT: Victoria's truthfulness can get her into serious trouble especially when she is talking to people above her. She does not think lying helps anyone or anything therefore she tells the truth and nothing but the truth. She understands that the truth is painful at times, but in her mind the truth is what is truly going to solve problems. She does not regret her blatant and truthful attitude but everyone she knows tells her that one day she will.
PERFECTIONIST: Everything she does has to be done the way she wants it. If her books aren't organized alphabetically she will go insane and if her day is not on a schedule her mind will implode. This is an extreme problem when it comes to relating to people because even though she is very level headed and patient with others, others do not usually return the favor.
AWKWARD: When it comes to emotions she can't express her feelings in the way many are used to. She has a problem with feeling, love in particular, and that often backfires on her. This is the main reason why she is single and not married. Whenever she actually makes an attempt at verbally expressing her feelings she often stumbles over her words, blushes a million shades of red, or runs away in embarrassment.
.:Magic Abilities:.
Although she has done a lot of research on magic, she likes to stay informed, she herself does not posses any sort of magical ability. Nobody in her family history is known to have possessed any either.
.:Special Skills:.
Obviously, Victoria is a very skilled speaker. Her voice is very low and soothing and at times very seducing. She has a way of using words in a way that is almost like an art opposed to a language.
.:Accents:. Very British

.:Birthplace:. Camelot .:Family:.
Lady Gwendolyn Montague: Victoria is very much like her mother. Gwendolyn is intelligent and thoughtful, beautiful yet elegant. She taught Victoria everything. Her mother is very patient and never appears to be cross. She is almost as level headed as Victoria. Gwendolyn grew up in a family of nobles in the city of Camelot. Her family lineage has been of noble blood for a very long time. Lady Gwendolyn has been deceased for a few years from old age.
Lord Christopher Montague: The husband of Lady Gwendolyn and the father of Victoria, Christopher is from a family as noble as his wife's. He was raised in a family of primarily scholars. He learned how to fight and eventually became a very skilled knight. Christopher is also quite skilled in logic and strategy and has devised very useful battle plans over the years. He is still considered one of the greatest knights to this day. Lord Christopher has been deceased for a few years from wounds and old age.
Lord Christopher Montague II: Christopher II is Victoria's younger brother and head of the Montague household. He is a knight. Lord Montague is not as skilled as his father but he does show potential of one day being as skilled as his father. He lacks the intelligence and logic of the other members of his family. He often acts on emotion and can be extremely arrogant and unwise at times.
.:Occupation:. Diplomat of the Royal Court .:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot .:History:.
Lord and Lady Montague were both born and bred nobles of Camelot. The family Montague is well known throughout the kingdom and quite influential in the royal court. The marriage of Lady Gwendolyn and Lord Christopher was, as most noble marriages, arranged. The two grew quite fond of each other but not completely in love. Out of this mutual caring Victoria Elizabeth Montague was born. Victoria's life was mapped out for her as a young girl. She was to follow in her mother's footsteps as diplomat. Victoria's parents were slightly disappointed that they had a daughter opposed to a son, but that was highly expected when society was primarily based on men.
Victoria's training into womanhood and diplomacy began when she was a very young girl. She had a tutor come to the house to teach her to read and write. She learned quite rapidly which displayed that she had inherited her mother's uncanny intelligence. Victoria grasped onto the language as well and was speaking quite eloquently even at a young age. Her parents were quite proud of her whenever they got the chance to catch her in a lesson. Vic never really knew her parents that well until she was older because they were very busy. Her mother was one of the most prized diplomats and her father a very well regarded knight and strategist.
The first son of the Montague's was born five years after the first daughter was born. The family named the son Christopher just as his father. Christopher II, much like his sister, had his life completely planned out. His training to become a knight like his father began the same age Victoria started her training. Victoria was prone to be quite protective of her younger brother when she was a young girl. She often looked after him while her parents were away, refusing to let any of the nurses. This gave Victoria much experience and patience as well. Her extremely thick patience developed from looking after her obstinate younger brother.
Whenever her parents did have time for their two children Victoria often spent time with her father. She found his panning of strategy and logic a lot more interesting than her mother's area of expertise. Her father taught her the basics to logic when she was a little girl and even had her planning out metaphorical battles. She became quite good at devising battle plans and soon did them for fun on her own. On the other hand actual fighting was definitely not her strong point. She couldn't pick up sword without dropping it let alone attempting to actually fight with it.
When Victoria reached the age of thirteen she attended the royal court with her mother at times to get experience. She learned much from these trips and often practiced her persuasive skills on the guards and other friends she made in the castle. Victoria's friendliness sometimes got her into trouble especially with her parents. Her parents were very stuck up at times and tended to have a poor attitude towards social classes lower than them. Victoria would not let this authentic quality of being non judgmental go. Despite the fact she often obeyed her parents she continued mingling with those who were theoretically lower than herself. Her parents continued trying to teach her that mingling with the lower classes was not considered proper.
Victoria grew up rather quickly and was often mistaken for being older than she truly was. Suitors were soon lining up to ask for the blonde haired, blue eyes beauty's hand in marriage. Her interest was not very deep and she often would come off inept whenever she was being courted which led to disaster. At times she did find herself liking a man but failing miserably to voice her feelings and ended up explaining her feelings a bit too much and ended up destroying the possibility of marriage. Her ability to express emotion was never very good to begin with but the flaw was made very apparent during that specific time frame. After that Victoria kept to logic.
Once she was old enough Victoria began working in the Royal Court. At first she was not taken seriously primarily because she was a woman. Her mother explained that it would take time for her to gain the respect of the others in the court just as it had taken her a very long time. Victoria was determined to step up and do her best when it came to working out compromises. Often her ideas were pushed aside. Eventually she had come up with a few plans that were far too good to not consider. Once those plans were taken into action she was looked at differently within the court. Her efforts at battle strategies were, however, unfortunately ignored.
Currently, Victoria is one of the most highly regarded diplomats in the King's Court. She is also incredibly handy when riots and disagreement breaks out because of her patience. Her parents are both now deceased and her brother is a knight.
