Sasha had met a good amount of nobles here at Camelot. It was easy to see that she was gaining a good reputation with them. None of them had really become her friends so far, but she definitely considered them to be good acquaintances. “I've met a few people here,” she answered enthusiastically.Things were finally settling down for her now... no more long travels through forests or cold nights wherever she had ended up while traveling to Camelot.
“I am very grateful for that,” Sasha agreed with him. “Now everyone can relax. No more innocent blood will be shed... at least not anytime soon.” She was thinking about Arthur specifically as she said that, the concern for his well-being still at the back of her mind.

Sasha was very glad to hear that he was doing good. He must have had some soreness, but that didn't matter. He was out of danger. And was all she cared about right now. "I am very relieved to hear that," she said quietly, a smile finding it's way to her face. For some reason she found herself slightly blushing for a moment. She couldn't understand why she was feeling so nervous. Then Arthur asked her how she had been. "I've been good," Sasha responded softly, then added, "The people of Camelot seem very welcoming. I feel like I never left."
It was true. Despite caring for her mother deeply and wanting to follow her wherever she traveled, she wished that she could have stayed behind in the care of someone in the castle. Maybe her past wouldn't have been so gruesome. But she didn't really have a choice, did she? Delilah had sort of forced her to leave. And she guessed that thinking Arthur was dead at the time she wouldn't have enjoyed it that much if she had stayed. "I've heard that the Questiong Beast has been killed," Sasha said, keeping up the light mood in their conversation. She'd missed him greatly.

For a moment she had actually thought that the Prince would die which had put her into a panic, not wanting to lose her friend. He was the only one that she was close to in Camelot. Though hearing that Arthur had pulled through relieved her greatly. And so, she went to visit him a few hours after hearing. When Sasha entered the room she saw him sitting up, looking as healthy as he'd ever been. A slight smile crossed her face, and she went over to his bedside. She grabbed a chair and sat down. There was so much to say, and she knew she wanted to say something, but... she didn't know what she could actually say. But she decided said the number one thing on her mind. "How are you feeling?" Sasha inquired softly, looking into his grey-blue eyes, searching for any sign of pain. She imagined that he was by looking at his shoulder.
Ever since the day that they had kissed and spent a wonderful day together. . . things seemed different between them. In a good way. She felt as if their friendship was growing stronger, to the point where she sometimes felt it was more than friendship. But then again she was not used to having friends, maybe it was completely normal?

"I know I am. But. . ." Sasha said quietly, her voice almost shaking. It wa half her fault too, kind of... because Arthur had already told her that he loved another about a year ago. She should have known that was who he was talking about, not her. "I'd rather just leave this subject to die off, without any blame from me or you. Besides, it's partly my fault... about a year ago you told me you loved someone else, so... I should have known that is who you were talking about." She didn't know why she hadn't thought of that earlier. And she just couldn't understand why she was going through the same heart piercing pain she'd gone through after the dragon attack. But all she knew was that she apparently still loved Prince Arthur Pendragon, and that it still hurt...
"Like I said, I am happy for you," she smiled. "I'm glad you have someone to love, someone that loves you back." That was one of the best and also saddest blessings of being in love, to be able to feel truly happy for the other person. She thought of what had happened in the last ten years... her father's death, her mother suddenly revealing herself as a horrible witch, and Arthur not returning her love. All three things which hurt her deeply, one of them which she'd never get over. She still missed Sir Peter Tiberius, even to this very moment. But somehow, she knew she would be alright.

All she could do now was give a light, barely audible, sigh. The thought of finding someone else was bittersweet... she loved Arthur more than she had thought possible before,a nd yet she did want a man who would love her as she loved him. But... just not now. Not anytime soon. She still had yet to deal with her love for Arthur. "Maybe..." she said quietly, and wanted to add something else, but... "Maybe..." she only repeated herself. For once, her heart wasn't aflame with love... it was burning with hurt. A hurt she had never felt before, longed for the day it ended.
The only other man she was close to was her servant Nicolae... but he couldn't possibly be someone she'd fall in love with. First of all, he'd appeared out of nowhere and she knew nothing much about him no matter how much she seemed to trust him. But enough about Nicolae... the silence here was getting very awkward. She went to stand up, wondering if Arthur would protest. But luckily it was just her arm, she wouldn't be doing anything to hurt it. It was just... when she was under grief she needed to walk around a bit. Even if it were just pacing around.

Of course, she was surprised by what Arthur had told her. The last thing she would have expected was that he had fallen in love with a servant... though she had learned to hold no prejudice against the title despite servants having no nobility. Perhaps her brother Nic had taught her that. Arthur asked if he had met her, she tried to remember whether she had met her face to face or not when Nicolae had been watching the training grounds... "I don't think so," she replied to him calmly. She knew her brother probably had, but Sasha hadn't.
Sasha felt a sudden breeze pick up and it brought a good feeling with it. She couldn't put together the reason why, though. "I think my brother has met her once on the training grounds," she added. "But other than that, no." She would be happy to meet her actually. Even if Arthur and her shared an intimate relationship. Her imagination had always run wild when thinking about it, but when she imagined the king with Guinevère she didn't really panic.
She assumed that Guinevère's kind ways made her more acceptive of her as Arthur's future queen. "Not much can happen in one day, I suppose, but how are coping?" She asked him, changing the subject. Then Sasha worried that he might think she was talking about the whole Morgana thing. She knew they had been close and that it was a a sensitive subject for him. So she added, "With being King, I mean."

She would finally hear who the girl was! She was so excited to hear! And when he finally spoke the answer... she really didn't know what to think. She'd probably have this reaction anyway, but... she'd never have expected him to be in love with a servant. She knew of Guinevère as Morgana's handmaiden, and had even met her through Nicolae once. Her brother had been on the training grounds that day, observing Arthur and the others practice fighting techniques.
Guinevère. Well that was interesting. She didn't have anything against him loving a servant at all, it was just... she just missed him, and hearing the woman's name made her really feel like that. But when would she get over that and think of Arthur's happiness first? Sasha was extremely happy that someone was making him happy, that perhaps he'd found the right woman for him. His future Queen. She didn't really know what to say in reply, though. . .
"I am happy for you," she told him with a genuine smile.

She was beginning to truly dislike this man. When he made fun of her brother she shot him an unhappy glare. Sasha wished she could help Nicolae or prevent him from having to fight this man. If the stranger was all he appeared to be, then her sibling may be in trouble. If worst came to worst she'd try her best to use her magic abilities on the aggressive man.
She didn't like it at all when he mocked her voice. That was one of the most embarrassing things she'd ever had to listen to, for herself anyway. This man must really be proud of himself. And her wrist was starting to feel a little uncomfortable in his grasp. Sasha shifted her hand a bit, trying to find a better position for it.

Vaughn pulled her off her horse, which took her by surprise. But she made sure no whining sounds came from her mouth, for her pride's sake. It was only by her agility that she kept her balance almost perfectly as he forced her to dismount her horse so awkwardly. Sasha was feeling fear now, but of course she'd try to never show it. What if Nicolae didn't survive? Then she'd loose her brother! And also be stuck with this... this, whatever you might call him! Bandit, whatever.
She prayed he'd be careful, and that if he'd ever watched Arthur practice swordsmanship that he'd remember those skills. “Nicolae, be careful,” she gave him a firm look, but her voice carried a deep concern for her older brother. “Please.” She was so scared for him... the stranger did not seem to be an amateur, while Nicolae as far as she knew was just that... an amateur swordsman. At this moment she was forgetting his years as a bandit in Mercia... if she'd been thinking about it, then she might not have been as worried.

“I don't believe you are the one who should be making demands right now.”
When the stranger said that to her brother, her belief that this man was dangerous only increased. He said it like he had the upper hand, which he did, kind of. . . then he came closer, which only made her even more uncomfortable around him.
“But you can indeed help me. I will be requiring your horses.”
They weren't dealing with a show-off who pulled swords out to give himself an impressive look, Not a showoff at all. He was trying to steal their horses! On their part it would not be good, stuck out in the rain in an unfamiliar kingdom. In fact, as of a couple of days ago Nicolae and Sasha hadn't come across anyone so it was hard to tell if they were even in a kingdom at all. But if they lost their horses, were they really expected to walk out this place? That would be just great! She wanted to defend herself and Nicolae, but what could she possibly say to a man who held two sharp, deadly sword out in front of him? Quite frankly, she was kind of intimidated by him.
“And maybe I will take your woman while I'm at it.”
Oh... damn. That was not a good thing. She felt quite helpless at that moment.

Had she heard him right? He... didn't love Vivian? Well then who did he love? Well, she didn't want to sound rude by asking...She'd probably find out sooner or later. When Arthur began to answer her, saying her first name, she felt a large amount of hope. She longed for him to say he did in fact love her... that would be wonderful... because she knew she herself loved him stronger than she could have imagined.
“I care for you a great deal. But... as a friend cares for a friend.”
What...? He didn't... love her...? “Why?” That had just slipped out. It was not a logical question. Because Sasha just didn't know what to say... what could she possibly say to Arthur? She felt an intense feeling of sadness, but she just couldn't cry over it... it must be the shock. “I... Arthur...” She had to think of something sensible to say! If anything! “I love you more than myself... how can I ever... get over someone like you...?”

Sasha sighed. Perhaps he was right. But her feelings were telling her completely otherwise! Soon Sasha would demand to fight Delilah. To end this right here in Camelot. Forever. To show the King that he couldn't be blinded by a spell any longer. She felt stronger than she really was, because her sub-conscience knew she'd probably loose the fight if she tried. But the woman who killed her father... how could she let another bring an end to her treachery?
“But I--” She started, but then stopped herself. There was obviously no way Arthur was going to let her back up there. And there was no use trying to persuade him. But what caught her ear was when the Prince said that Delilah had told everyone that she had been dead. “She actually told them that?” She inquired, with disbelief evident in her voice. “Just like she did when we first left Camelot.” She remembered as clear as day when her mother had told her that Arthur had been killed by bandit... or had it been a druid? It didn't matter, she didn't care for it anymore.
Sasha put the sword back in it's holder. No use for it now, right? It would be coming right back out if Delilah suddenly appeared down here, though. “I missed you too, Arthur,” she told him. Sasha knew that he didn't love her back, but her love for him never seemed to cease. And she had to express that somehow, even if he didn't want her to. “But I had to leave. There were too many questions that needed to be answered.” She then let out a deep sigh. “And... I think I've found all the answers I need to last me three lifetimes...”
Then she remembered her brother with an intense feeling of fear. “Is Nicolae safe?” She asked Arthur. Oh please say he is...

“I am happy,” Sasha smiled at him. "I truly am." She truly was... for once in a long time. It was the first time since the day she'd experienced her first kiss that Arthur and Sasha had actually been alone and she had been happy. But to hear him say he liked the gift meant even more to her. However, she knew what he meant. He meant in general. She was content. But she hadn't found her true happiness yet. But this moment was definitely an exception of that, for she was extremely happy right now. And happy that Camelot, her birth place, was finally at peace from Lady Morgana's short reign as Queen.
“Arthur,” she put on an amused smile. “This is your business. You really don't have to tell me if you don't feel you want to. But...” She was going to ask a question that she had wanted to ask for a long time. Since he'd told her he loved another woman. She still somewhat thought it might be the Lady Vivian, even if she was long forgotten by many others. Sasha knew it was probably someone else, someone from Camelot. “Who might this lucky woman be?” Should she have said lucky? Whoever she was, to say she was lucky was an huge understatement.

When the strange man walked out in front of their two horses, she made sure her horse stopped. The man kind of looked uncleanly... perhaps that was the wrong word. He looked like a nomad, to be exact. Sasha had been a nomad for most of her life, so she knew how it felt. Many wouldn't agree, but she quite liked being alone. Now that her brother had come along with her, she couldn't always have that alone time. But she figured it was worth the company, as long as you liked the person.
Then the man pulled out two swords from the weapon sheathes on his back and held them both in front of him. Sasha felt threatened by this. Anyone would feel the same way about it. There was no need to hold them out of their holders when clearly Sasha and Nicolae were just strolling along innocently. And he was just staring at her, no words aside from his greeting. That was rude. But more than that. . . she didn't like the look in his eyes. Let's just say, she felt an uncomfortable air around the stranger.
“Can we help you?” She queried uncomfortably. She only included her brother servant in that question because of the strange air she was feeling. But maybe. . . maybe she was being dramatic? Perhaps she was just mistaking it for the way he looked. After all, many nomads looked kind of dark thus giving off a bad aura. Or maybe he really wasn't a good man. They'd find out soon, she supposed. On the other hand, she could tell Nicolae didn't seem very comfortable either.

Well, the matter of being nervous had vanished. Period. She was enjoying what he was saying, how he explained it... so calmly. "It makes me think..." She responded to what he'd been saying about being a Prince. "I wonder why we've never really spoken like this before." They'd had a few chances to do so, but she guessed it had just never sparked, if that's what you wanted to call it. "When I was younger, I spoke to my father's manservant Cahir about you. I was just curious about the Prince of Camelot."
She wanted to create a little more conversation, even if the topic just might come out... awkward or strange. "Do you happen to like dogs?" She asked him quietly. Yep. That was the perfect question for a romantic evening. Dogs. . . . or was it? She'd let Arthur decide. For her part, she adored dogs. She'd even had one a few years ago, but that had only been for a short week. Turned out it had been half wolf, so they'd been forced to "get rid of it". Now that she was older, she knew what they meant by "get rid of it".

The wolves had come to Camelot. It was a mere wolf pack, but... still, even one wolf was enough to get you killed. The alpha picked up a trail nearby the main city, followed it, and was immediately followed by the pack like a servant to his master. You were expected to follow, you didn't have to be told, or in this case signaled. Then they found what they were looking for. A scrawny human... though the wolves didn't know, it was Merlin, a lowly servant of Camelot. Yet the one with such a great destiny. The wolves used their natural skill to figure out a way to surround the young human. Then, the alpha made the first approach... he stepped from the bushes near the tree the man was lying up against, baring his bloodstained fangs ferociously. Then the rest of the wolves, ragged and mangy like diseased creatures surrounded Merlin in a perfect circle. There was no way he could escape without getting a chunk of flesh taken out of his leg... unless he climbed up the tree he was leaned up against, which would be a good option... but for how long? Merlin had to eat eventually!
Sasha Tiberius had gone through a lot in the past few years; her mother's betrayal, the revealing of who her father's real murderer was, Morgana's tyranical reign... At least it was over now. And upon leaving Camelot, she had started a new life. One that satisfied her wander lust. Of course, she still loved and missed Arthur Pendragon, and they'd meet again. But overall she knew he had another woman to love, and she was unfortunately not that woman. It was another reason she'd left, to keep out of the way of her friend's life and love. She'd already caused enough trouble both in Uther's reign and Arthur's.

"I'm enjoying it very much," she smiled, and then gave a shy silence. It was nice to be in the company of a prince, especially when he was actually giving you attention. Aside from being nervous, she was feeling honoured and good inside. She decided to add to her recent comment; "I'm having fun," she smiled.
"Oh, I think it will encourage me to attend many more of these occassions in the future," she responded to his comment with a flirtatious smile. Well, wasn't she just having emotion changes? First she was nervous, then she was comfortable as can be, then she was nervous again, and now she was flirtatious with the prince? Was flirting even allowed at her age? Especially with the prince of Camelot! She was only thirteen. She feared someone would accuse her of wanting to be known as the prince's girl or something. . . when she was only innocently being flirty with him.
"So what is it like being a Prince?" She asked him quietly, settling into the rythymic dance he'd gone into. "I would imagine it would be a nice life, knowing you're destined for something so great."
