Guys, chill! I am not thinking of hurting your little titchy babies... I am PLANNING to hurt them. And please, Merlin, we both know I am WAY more powerful than you. *nods*
And, er, seriously guys, could you NOT think of a better partner for me?! HELIOS?! *is insulted*.
Oh poor Morgana! I've always liked the idea of Merlin and Morgana, but alas Morgana has gone evil and Merlin is with Freya. I always thought Morgana and Merlin would make a cute couple ... if Merlin didn't look like such a dope all the time (JK JK Merlin)

.:Name of Character:.Gaius .:Nick Name:.The Court Physician .:Age:.73 .:Race:.druid / warlock. .:Status:.Court Physician
| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:.Gaius is a rather old and frail looking man. He isn't frail as in skinny but frail as in the sense that he is really old. His gray and thinning hair goes down to his shoulders and his eyes, a dark blue, seems to stare straight into your soul and can send shivers down even the spine of Uther from time to time. Gaius is usually seen in (not so much fancy but still high clsss) robes seeing as how he is the personal court Physician to the King and is likely always around some sort of royalty or another. .:Height:.5 10 .:Portrayed by:.Richard Wilson
| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:.Gaius can be loyal, trusting, loving, and even be known as an excellent logical thinker. He has always remained loyal to Uther and the Crown while loving Merlin as the son that he never had. Just because he is loyal to the crown does not mean that he wont stand up to it. On many occasions, he would stand up to Uther when he believed the man was wrong, often using his dry sense of humor in the process. .:Strengths:. Medicine, arcane knowledge, powerful magic, can keep secrets with a zeal beyond normal men. .:Weaknesses:.While his magic is great, he's out of practice and so it doesn't always do as he says at first. He's also stubborn and strong willed. .:Magic Abilities:.Soft Control of fire and wind (able to create yet not control) Create superior magical potions Curses Enchantment of Objects Brief Telekinetic .:Special Skills:. Enchanting potions and objects along with his superior arcane knowledge. .:Accents:.
| ~ • ~ | History | ~ • ~ |
.:Birthplace:.Camelot .:Family:.Father and mother Unknown but at least one is assumed to have been a druid or priestess of the Old Religion. .:Occupation:.Court Physician .:Current Location of Residence:. Hogwarts... xD lol na Camelot. .:History:. Gaius was born in Camelot 73 years ago. At a young age Gaius showed an aptitude for potions, healing, and magic in general, along side an extensive knowledge of practical arcane arts. The only one who could rival him was Alice. His long lost love from his past. The only woman ever to worm their way into his sarcastic dry humored heart. They were engaged too and soon to be wed. However, because of the idiocy and bullheadedness of one King Uther, every magic user in the world must pay. Since he didn't ask any questions, when he made a deal with the Priestess of the Old Religion, his wife bore him a son at her own life, for only life can pay with death. Gaius scratched her name off of the list and helped her escape, promising himself to never practice magic again and removing himself from being the "court sorcerer" and staying on as the "Court Physician."
Twenty Years later, Gaius took on the guidance and protection of one young warlock. His name. Merlin. After Merlin saved Gaius's life, he found the boy to be like the son he never wanted...err... I mean had. Merlin was just like any child and was stubborn in his thinking. But Gaius made ground on a few things. HE taught the boy to use magic but to look at the bigger picture and not just of himself or his friends. Over the years, Gaius has been accused of witchcraft, treachery, and betrayal to the king and the king's trust, but he still remains loyal , though never with as much loyalty and love as with Merlin seeing as how he would never betray the young warlock's trust.
