Xenia was really disappointed with the behavior of the guards. They were never normally like this, but maybe it was because they were afraid for her health and safety and reacted as such. Now the young woman standing next to her started to speak. Oh she really didn't know that she was a princess, and had only come to help because she worried about her. She then stepped away from the princess.
She really started to like this woman. Due to everything that had happened, she didn't have a chance to look at her appearance. She was a young woman with long, almost curly, brown hair. She has bright, blue eyes and her skin is pale and very white. She did not look like a noble woman. She probably was travelling from place to place, and happened to be passing through this place, at this time. Xenia believed in coincidences and this was certainly starting to feel like one.
She looked at her with a kind smile, and said sweetly. "It is okay my dear. I'm a princess but I don't want you to be afraid of me. Don't pay any attention to the guards."

The King was impressed by the way the young man served the wine into the goblet. He gladly took the goblet, and drank from it. He didn't drank a lot, as he followed the advice of the winer seller. He thought that the strong taste of this wine would be something that his daughter would love.
Xenia didn't want to wait any long for a taste of the wine. She stood up from her throne, causing her mother to give her a look for her to stay sitting down. But Xenia didn't listen to her mother and told her, "I want to taste this wine too." Her father looked at her with a firmness in his eyes. But it did not stop her as she made her way to her father and the wine seller. She finally arrived to the men, her father still looking her with this firm look in his eyes. "I want to taste the wine as well and I could not stand to wait any longer," said Xenia, as she looked up at her father. Before she turned her head to the wine seller. "Would you do me the honor of serving me the same wine you served my father?" Xenia asked kindly.

While they were walking, Xenia decided to do a scan of Caitrin, as she did always with the new people. Caitrin was a nice lady, a little older than her -- though she was already married and had a baby.. She has long, red hair and dark brown eyes. Though, Caitrin was a woman with family and a baby, she still had a look of of strong independence. Her dress was long and elegant, but Xenia stopped her scanning, as she did not want to look rude.
“How far have you traveled Princess?” Caitrin asked her and Xenia found it to be a very good question. She looked to her sweetly, and answered her question kindly. "Oh My kingdom is a day's ride from Camelot. But I got impressed from a little squirrel and I wanted to follow it. But then it went too far away and we got tired and stopped at a spring. Then my horse got scared, rode on really fast and quickly and we ended up here where you found us." And with that, she stroked the head of her horse, who was now feeling very calm.
Caitrin then mentioned that her house wasn't very big and Xenia smiled at her, glad that she was not afraid of her. She was far away from her sweet home and Xenia now worried about her parents. She was their only child and if she something bad happened to her, they would surely die. She was now certain that the castle was in uproar with confusion and concern about where the princess was. Causing Xenia to feel sad and a little upset.

As little Arthur started to cry, Xenia thought that maybe he was feeling cold. She was not use to babies crying, since she did not have a baby (as obviously she was not married). Though, she had spent a little time with women who had small children and knew a little. But not much, though that would most likely change when she had her own children and developed that natural maternal instinct. She wished, though, that babies would not cry for a long time, because most of babies she knew were always crying a lot. Luckily, little Arthur stopped his crying and demonstrated how sweet it was when he was quiet.
So the name of the little baby was connected with the name of Camelot's King. Caitrin said that they were very good friends. And since the baby was still very young, he was baptized after the coronation of the King.
Caitrin had refused her proposal, which made easier. Maybe she was afraid to ride her stubborn horse, or maybe she wasn't very good at riding. Though that would be almost impossible, since all noble women knew how to ride a horse. Xenia not wanting to look rude, walked next to her. That was better. The cold wind then started to attack them, Xenia shook her cape some more before she lifted it over her head, protecting her from it.

Little Xenia didn't find what she was looking for. Her maid took her little, soft hand into hers and they followed a tall man who showed them where they were going to stay for the next few days. It was a big tent and Xenia looked around and saw that the were other people also living in tents which intrigued her. Since princesses would never live in tents! Though Xenia loved looking for adventures, she wasn't sure if that should include living in a tent. Marsha thanked the man, before she walked inside the tent and Xenia followed her maid. Not before she complained to Marsha that the tent was too small. The old woman told her that if she wanted to have adventures then she needed to stay in the tent, otherwise they would leave. And with that, Xenia was persuaded to stay for she did not want to leave this place yet. Especially since she had only arrived. They then spend some time organizing their tent by setting up their beds and storing away their clothes.
Her maid then said to Xenia that she wanted to go and see a old friend, so grabbing her hand they left their tent. They arrived at the home where Marsha's old friend greeted them very friendly before he offered them to came inside his home. She grew bored very quickly, and asked Marsha if she could go outside to have a look at the waterfalls. Of course her maid didn't want to her go, because it was getting darker. Not only that, but the Princess didn't know the place very well and could easily get lost. After a lot of entreaties on Xenia's part, her maid agreed but told her not to pass the cave and to come back very quickly. With that, Xenia left the house, bouncing with a big smile on her face, smiling to everyone as she went pass them. Now Xenia was past the Druid's camp, she could finally hear the running water.

The Princess waited patiently to taste the wine. The mysterious in his eyes and face made her more than ready to taste it. A few men start to open the barrels for the wine maker to show them. Her father gave a look towards the servant, to show them they were ready. The servant obeyed and poured the wine into some goblets before handing them a goblet each to the King, his wife and their daughter. Along with two more goblets in case one of the Kings Advisers wanted a taste too.
The King now stood up and approached the young man. As he was walking towards him, the sun from the window cast a wonderful light upon him . Finally he reached the wine maker and stand next to him to make feel him more confident. He ordered the servant to stand next to him with the tray of goblets. He looked in the casket and said "Let me", before got a bottle of red wine that was looking rather marvelous and asked him to give him information about this particular wine.

"Well since you are going to be there tomorrow, would you mind if I joined you? Perhaps, we could have a picnic there too?" Oh this was a wonderful idea! "Of course. I would love if you joined us! And a picnic is a great idea." She was going to suggest the same proposal, but Nora forestalled her. She loved the idea of having a picnic in the Royals Gardens of Camelot! Xenia also wanted Prince Arthur to join them, but she knew that he was very busy these days with his father illness. Her mother, of course, was going to join her outside while she past her time with Nora.
Xenia already started to plan what they could do the next day, when Nora responded to her previously question. "I certainly do love to ride. And if you like, I can show you some of the best sights not that far from Camelot." Xenia had to laugh as that was what she was thinking of doing the next day. She absolutely wanted to ride with Nora. She was actually going to ask her the same question, but Nora once again forestalled her by asking her first. She answered Nora quickly, not wanting Nora to wait very long for her response. "Absolutely! I would love to go for a ride and for you to show me some of the sights in Camelot! When did you want to go? Before our picnic, or the next day?" She asked Nora eagerly. Xenia felt so excited now for she knew how she was going to pass the next days of her stay in Camelot!

Although her maid told her to follow her and ride faster, Xenia didn't listen to her. At times she would ride faster, but most of the time she was too busy looking around the forest. All her attention was on this beautiful place, and she couldn't think of anything else. Her maid then gave her some more instructions, "Now we will pass behind these waterfalls and once we reach the cave, we will have arrived at our destination." But Xenia didn't listen to her carefully, because she was busy watching how magical the waterfalls were.
They started to walk along the small path, that had a bit of water from the waterfall seeping along it. Xenia's horse nearly slipped from the water along the track, but lucky she didn't. Now they were behind the waterfalls and in the dark caves. She heard birds signing their songs and smelled fresh flowers in the air. As they edged closer into the cave, Xenia started to feel scared because it was so dark. Yet at the end of the cave she could see some light and they rode faster towards it until finally they were at the other side. And what a sight it was! It was so beautiful!
They walked again for another five minutes and finally arrived to the camp. She noticed a big smile on her maid's face at having arrived. They saw a small group of people waiting for them and got down from their horses to greet them. Everyone knew Marsha and looked happy to see her again. The little Princess was very friendly with them and looked around to see if they were any kids around her age.

One day Xenia's parents announced to little Xenia that she was going to go on a trip with her maid for some days. It was difficult for her maid to convince her parents to take with her on her trip to the Druids, but she told them that it would be very good for the little Princess to spend some time in the nature. Finally, her parents allowed her to take Xenia with her, as the old woman was a very faithful servant and served the King for a long time. Later, that night before she went to sleep, Xenia got some things ready to take with her. Not a lot, though because they will going to stay in the forest.
The next morning, the little Princess and her maid began their trip to the forest on their horses. During the ride, Marsha (Xenia's maid) told her some helpful tips on how to recognizes the symbols on the trees. Since Xenia was little girl, she didn't give much importance to these things. She was too busy watching the butterflies that were flying in front of her. The trip was very quiet and peaceful, without thieves in the forests. Though, the Little Princess made sure she didn't wear anything that would reveal that she is royalty.
As they neared their destination it was getting very dark to be able to ride anymore. So they stopped and found a place to sleep for a while. Xenia fell asleep very quickly because she was feeling very tired from the trip. The next morning, the sweet songs of the birds woke her up. Once her maid woke up and prepared some food, they ate breakfast quickly and began their trip again. They arrived at a lake, with some mountains standing tall behind of it and Marsha announced "Here we are!" And as she said that she felt pride to be back in her old home. Little Xenia couldn't believed how beautiful this place was. She didn't know that a place like this existed. She thought they only existed in fairytales. "Is there is any faeries here?" little Xenia asked, wide-eyed. Her maid laughed and answered, "Maybe," a little mysteriously before saying, "Come on now." Marsha was very proud that the little Princess was liking this place very much. "Come on, we don't want to be late. Though, they will wait for us." Marsha told Xenia, who was too occupied looking around the place, before she rode on faster.

As Polyxena waitied for a reply from Gauis, she suddenly saw a tall guy approaching her before he stopped and stood opposite of her and greeted her kindly. Xenia, as always, did a scan of the young man. He was tall with brown hair and green eyes. He was very thin, though, and from the clothes it seemed like he was a servant. A servant to Gauis? Maybe, she didn't remembered hearing that Gauis had a servant.
She was never rude nor hostile with the servants, or maids and nor would she begin now. She was just feeling a little upset and startled, but slowly she started to smile to the guy who was smiling to her and told him, "Um I was looking for Gauis. Do you know where he can be found?" She asked him kindly, before she started coughing again. She looked around the room and as always it was a mess. The tables were covered with bottles and different medical equipment. There were also a lot of books everywhere and the herbs hanging from the grate from the ceiling were giving off a special scent into the air.
Xenia looked back to the young man and smiled. He looked friendly enough. She coughed again, but this time more loudly. The trip here had tired her and she badly wanted to get ready for the celebration tonight. But she wouldn't be able to attend the celebration if she could not find Gaius to give her some medicine. She coughed again and again but this time more grimly for the idea of not being able to attend the celebrations was damping her spirits.

Xenia and her mother listened carefully to Nora's question before Xenia answered first, her eyes bright with amusement, "We will be staying here about two days." Then the Queen added, "We don't know if we will be staying longer because this is a difficult season." Queen didn't elaborate on it, making Xenia feel worried a little about what her mother meant. Was it a difficult season because King Uther was ill, or something that was happening in their own kingdom? She thought, but forgot to think more on it when Nora spoke again.
"Have you ever been in the Royal Gardens?" She asked. Oh the Royal Gardens of Camelot were very wonderful. Xenia remembered when she was a little girl she would very often get very dirty after playing in there. Xenia answered with a very sweet smile, "I did spent some years playing in the Royal Gardens. But it would be a great opportunity to spent some time in there tomorrow." Her mother agreed with Xenia. Oh my God, Xenia was feeling really excited now. She has made a new friend and now she will be passing the next few day in her company.
"So do you like to ride? Because I certainly do enjoy going on little trips!" Xenia asked her new friend, with a grin on her face, hoping that Nora did enjoy passing the time horse riding.

Xenia slowly regained her senses. She didn't understand what exactly had happened, but the last thing she remembered was that the snake nearly killed her. She looked around for the snake, but one of the guards said that he had killed it. Suddenly she saw a young woman, standing next to her with a worried look upon her face, asking her if she was alright. She had never never seen her before, but she answered her a little groggily, "I think that I'm fine." She tried to get up but she couldn't, so one of the guard and the young woman helped her to get up.
After a little rest she started to feel better, but the guards seemed to be very quiet and readied themselves to continue their ride with their horses silently. It seemed as though they were mad with her, and this was confirmed when one of the guards who was more friendly to the Princess said with a strict tone, "Why my Princess, you didn't listen to my warning?" Polyxena didn't liked to spoken to like that, especially in front of new people because it made her feel embarrassed. The same guard looked towards the young woman standing next to the Princess, pointed to her and shouted, "You! How dare you stay here and stand next to the Princess? Get away from here now!" Now this really made Xenia angry. Her and her family were well-known for their kindness towards people, no matter who they were. "How can you speak to her in this manner? You clearly don't have any respect to me, your Princess, if you speak to others in this way in front of me?" Xenia scolded the guard, ashamed of the manner in which he spoke to the young woman who had helped her.

The colder it became, the more Xenia worried about little Artur. He already was feeling very tired and afraid of this cold weather. It was an unusual for the day started quite sunny and now it was becoming cold and dark. She wished she did not follow the little squirrel this morning, especially after it scared her horse. But, on the other hand, if she didn't end up lost, she will not have had the opportunity to meet Lady Caitrin and the little Artur. Xenia believed in coincidences and in fate, and this was surely one of them.
As they walked in, Xenia's mind returned to the question about little boy's name. This time she decided to ask her kindly. "Your little cute boy, has the same name as King Arthur. Was that on purpose?" And since King Arthur was in Xenia's mind now, she remembered meeting his wife Queen Guinevère when she was crowned. Oh Guinevère was very friendly and she was happy that they married for true love and not political reasons. If she was going to be passing her time in the castle, she was going to see Arthur and Guinevère again.
Now Xenia thought about Caitrin. She, of course, could not ride as Caitrin was walking. So she told her sweetly. "I feel bad that you are walking with little Arthur while I'm riding. If you want I can walk while you ride my horse."

There was a few more days left until it was Princess Polyxena's Birthday, and the servants of the castle were very busy with the arrangements of the celebration. Her mother, as always, wanted the celebration to be very grand. So she spent a lot of her time giving directions to the servants on how she wanted things to be arranged. Xenia found this to be very boring as she didn't find her birthday to be very special. But then she thought that it would be a good opportunity for her to meet new people.
Xenia felt like going for ride in the forest, which was very near to the castle. But as she went to the stable to gather her horse, she saw her mother was already there. Her mother explained to her that she was not allowed to go for a ride in the forest at the moment because there had been several incidents where thieves had stolen and attacked people. After a lot of entreaties and Xenia's abilities in persuasion, her mother allowed her to go a little ride into the forest, but with the escort of guards. Making Xenia feel not so very free and happy anymore for she enjoyed nothing better than some time on her own.
As they rode easily to the forest -- with some guards riding in front of the Princess, while the others rode behind her -- Xenia saw a little snake that looked injured. This might be a snake, but it was injured and as Xenia was very much lover of animals and people and helping them, she stepped down from her horse to try and help it. Just as she did, one of the guard got in-front of her to stop her from approaching it because they felt it was too dangerous. One of the guards then got down from his horse to try and help the poor snake, when suddenly the snake's head leaped up and tried to attack the Princess. Luckily one of the guards quickly intervened and killed the snake swiftly with his sword. It was at this point that Xenia felt very dizzy and fainted for the snake scared her so very much, so much so she thought it was going to kill her.

Xenia was very proud of the very polite and friendly greeting Nora gave her parents. She knew that her parents, especially her father, was a person who judged a person's character by their greetings. They answered Nora's question as friendly as she had asked them. "We are having a great time here, thank you. It is a pleasure to meet you too." Her father replied, and then her mother added "We are always having a great time when we are in Camelot!" Her father fare-welled them very kindly, before he left to go to some other royals who had invited him to join in their politic discussion.
This left only Nora, Xenia and her mother. Her mother was happy for the new acquaintance her daughter had made for she wasn't very social. Queen Pulchra spoke very kindly with the new friend of her daughter. She even complimented Npra on her dress and appearance . Her mother, Xenia could tell, liked the young lady's sweet and very friendly personality and was very proud of this.

Xenia was only eight years old, and unlike other little girls, spent her time learning how to be a good Princess and later a fair Queen. Others found her boring very often, as she didn't do anything extreme in her life. But this did not matter to her for Xenia wanted to travel with her father badly. But whenever he did travel he didn't take her with him because she was only a child. Though, Xenia was a Princess, her parents and everyone else treated her like a child. When all she wanted was them to not treat her like a little child, for she was very clever for her age. Since she spent all day studying! One day, her father told her that he was going to take her with him on his trip to the Kingdom of Gwent. Xenia was very happy because she didn't often travel. Her parents thought that it would be a great opportunity for her to meet Princess Isadora and form a friendship, as it will be very helpful in creating peace between the two kingdoms in the future.
The Kingdom of Gwent was only a two days journey from their kingdom. At the start of the journey, Xenia was very bubbly and full of energy and excitement, but eventually she grew tired. Since she was only a child and grew tired easily, she spent most of the time sleeping. When she was not asleep, she passed the time by speaking with her father and her maid or singing. And when she wasn't doing that, she was looking outside the window, looking at all the birds in the trees, making the two days pass by easily.
As they almost arrived to the castle, Xenia had her hair fixed with a help of her maid as her hair had come undone from the journey. Her father told her that she was going to meet a very nice little girl and encouraged her to become good friend with her. Xenia did not object. The opposite, in fact, she was rather happy that she was going to meet a girl and have someone to become friends with. Finally, the carriage stopped and a tall man was standing there waiting with a little girl standing next to him. Xenia knew that her question was a little difficult to answer, but she didn't want to ask Prince Arthur about his father's health. But nonetheless, Nora still answered her question. "Well that is a difficult question to answer as we do not get informed much on his condition. But he seems to be making some progress for it has been a while since he attended any balls or ceremonies. And I'm glad for it as it has been very hard for Prince Arthur and its great to see the King out tonight to celebrate his son's birthday." So it was difficult for her to know exactly how the King was. But when Nora mentioned that the King looked like he was feeling better she felt happier. Yes, it was truly great to see the King at his son's birthday and she noticed Nora was looking towards the King and his son for a moment. "It is a happy sight to see your King happy again after several months," Xenia commented to Nora cheerfully.
But Xenia started to feel a little to close in quarters with the amount of people around them, so much so that she decided that they better move. With that in mind, Xenia decided to introduce her new friend Nora to her parents. So she looked at Nora and told her sweetly, "Come Nora. I would like you to meet my parents!" Luckily, her parents weren't far away -- they were chatting and laughing with some old friends. The young ladies finally arrived to the Princess's parents and Xenia announced with a sweet smile, "Mother, father, I would like to introduce you to Lady Elenora -- or Nora as she prefers to be called." Xenia pointed to her father, "My father King Magna," and he nodded his head to greet her. "And my mother Queen Pulchra." The queen bobbed her head regally to greet Nora.[/blockquote]

A guard announced the arrival of the wine seller and the wine seller entered into the throne room, looking very much like businessman. Behind him two men was standing, carrying the baskets, which contained the bottles of wine. They were most likely his associates or his servants. He stood in front of the thrones and did a deep bow before he gave them a warm greeting.
Polyxena did an survey of the man, who was standing opposite her. She always did a scan of new people when she was meeting them for first time. He was standing tall and looked very handsome. No wonder she froze a little when he first entered. But Xenia was more interested in finding out if he is a good businessman, and can strike a good deal than admiring his looks. Xenia then noticed that the man looked a little frozen too, though he is not the first man who has been struck frozen while meeting with the King. Almost everyone who met the King was frozen at first till her father spoke and calmed them down.
The King then greeted him first. He was a stubborn King and didn't want others to speak for him. "Welcome Philip de Camelot to the Kingdom of Graecia. I would like to introduce you to my wife Queen Pulchra," and he pointed to to the Queen who nodded her head humbly to the man, "And my daughter Princess Polyxena." And Xenia nodded her head to greet the man as well. "You will have heard that I'm a lover of great wines. I hope that you wines will be as fine as they have been described and we can strike a great deal together."[/blockquote]

Xenia noticed that while she was grabbing the reins of her horse, Caitrin was getting a little upset. She looked at the white horse -- which was standing behind the Princess -- and asked slightly nervous to the princess who was holding the rains of the stubborn horse. “Is the horse safe to be around?” Xenia understood her being upset about the horse. She was being thoughtful and caring about her safety while dealing with this stubborn, white horse and Xenia wanted to calm her down and reassure her that they were safe. So she answered with a big smile. "You don't have to worry about Ingen! She is a stuborn horse but she loves to be near people."Xenia knew this horse very well. It was a gift from her father for her fifteenth birthday. Her previous horse had died from anility, so her father felt it was time she had a new horse! Ingen was a white horse with a black tail. Her name meant "big" in latin, because she was a big and happy horse. She was also stubborn and a little aristocratic, but this was only because only nobles were allowed to ride her. Actually, only Xenia was allowed to ride her, though her father rode her once.
Caitrin then told her that Camelot is half hour from here. Xenia thought that maybe she could go and pass the night in Camelot as she knew King Arthur. If that was alright? Though, if she did she felt it would be very rude to Caitrin since she had kindly offered to take her back to her estate. Caitrin continued to tell her that she could freshen up in her home, and after that they could drive her to Camelot. Oh Xenia wanted to do that so very much, of course after she had freshened up for she had become very dirty and muddy after her ride. Xenia answered her suggestion kindly, "I agree with you Caitrin. I definitely need a freshen as soon as possible. Though, I don't want to be rude with your proposal."[/blockquote]

King Uther Pendragon had invited King Magna of Graecia for a visit to Camelot to renew the peace treaty. When Princess Polyxena heard the news she got very excited because she hadn't been to Camelot for quite a few months. King Magna, for some reason, didn't want his daughter to come along, but Xenia was determined and after asking him a lot, he finally agreed. Xenia, with the help of her maid, began to pack some clothes as they were to stay at the castle for some days.
The next morning, her and her father started their journey to Camelot. As always, Xenia looked out of the window of the carriage to enjoy the wind, which was blowing in her face. King Magna was very busy looking over documents to see how he could strengthen their ties with Camelot.
When they arrived, King Uther, along with Prince Arthur, were waiting and greeted them a warm welcome. The two Kings were happy and began discussing the meeting and their politicans. While Prince Artur, with his great charm, welcomed Princess Polyxena and accompanied her to show her her chamber, where she will be staying for the next few days. The Castle was the same as she remembered it. Her room was big with a good view of the city. She was also given a good maid to attend to her and her needs.
Xenia suddenly started to cough. Oh no, Xenia remembered, she forgot to bring her medicine with her. Though, this was very bad, she thought that this was a great opurtunity to see Gauis. So she left her room and went to find Gauis, the physician. She knocked on the door, but no one answered. So Xenia decided to open it by herself. As she opened the door the room was as she remembered it. But it was empty. Xenia looked around, but still nothing. She decided to shout out a little louder in case he didn't hear her come in, "Gauis, are you here?"
