The hooded rangers bow down before the future king, Brandeles smiles from his hood towards to Prince Arthur. "I'm still as same as ever, my lord. You know that life as a ranger isn't an easy task." Brandeles shakes hand with Prince Arthur, his steel gauntlets are rather rough than the ranger's glove. "It's good to see you again, Prince Arthur."
Look back to his rangers, Brandeles shows them to the future king with his pride, "These are my rangers from Woods of Balor, finest archers and warriors of Camelot." the rangers bow down to the prince and raised their hooded-faces up to him. Finally reinforcements come to aid the rangers, and there will be some plans changed after this. "My lord, bandits hideout are not far away from here... It was across the river over there and to the north." Brandeles points his finger at the river which is located the north, the river is not really deep so the rangers and the prince knights have no problem by crossing on it. "Few of my men are ready to strike the bandits' encampment with their arrows, but since your honorable presence... The plans will be changed, please follow me to the tent and let us discuss the plans."
The ranger beckons the prince to follow him into the tent, and few of his lieutenant rangers follow him too.

[OOC: All are welcomed here, no? ] A lady comes to him and tries to protect the innocent child, the ranger understands her and the boy. "I do believe in you, my boy." Brandeles stands up and pats on his hair with his hardened glove, while smiling. He knows the difference between street urchin and innocent children, indeed this era are dark times. "And also, you are a stable boy, I could tell that smell of haystacks and horses from you clothing. Impossible that a stable boy will steal something from others, no?" Brandeles could smell the boy's clothing near him, he knows the smell very well because, he is a veteran ranger.
Brandeles clears his throat for a moment as he look at the other crowd, it was been a while that he didn't see the market square, quite lively as ever. "Camelot's town square is still busy as before, don't you think?" Brandeles look back at the two civilians with his smile, "You must be Lady Guinevère, I heard about you from Prince Arthur." the ranger smiles to Guinevère, Prince Arthur talks a lot about her, including she advices the prince when he was stubborn or other else.

"Camelot.... I'm home..." Brandeles pulls down his ranger's cowl as he went passes through the gates of the city. The Camelot guards saw him and greets him by states "Lord Brandeles." and in return he says nothing but smiles. In this city, Brandeles lived his life as a noble and in the woods, he lived his life as a ranger, two lives in an individual but it is no challenge for Brandeles.
Someone was shouting about thief not far away from him, a boy with a money purse in his hands run towards him but the man caught him in the collar with his hand. The young ranger shakes his head as he approaches to the both. "What is this all about?" Brandeles asked, the man saw Brandeles and stares the boy with his eyes after caught him. "My lord! This urchin stole my money! I'll cut the nasty fingers of yours!" Brandeles look at the boy in the eyes, he doesn't look like thief-like urchin.
"This boy is under my custody, you have your money back and leave." Brandeles grabs the money purse from the boy and gives it to the man. The man receives it and brisks off, away from the ranger and the boy. He places both of his hands on the boy's shoulders and crouches down, look at him, "Tell me, did you steal his purse? I want a honest answer."

Emerged out from the tree bark with his bow, the young hooded ranger Brandeles crouches down as he saw footprints on the soil and scans them with his palm, a large lizard been come to this way. Whistles sharply in the woods, other rangers emerge from their hiding and follows Brandeles as he signals them to follow.
Time and speed is the essence, the rangers run in the woods swiftly like the wind while wielding their bows. Felt he saw something, indeed the rangers saw the large lizard in their eyes thus, perhaps a foreign woman that they never see before, especially her clothes. "Fire!" Brandeles give his signal to his rangers to fire their bow and arrows to the lizard, a rain of arrows immediately shot out from the treeline and pierce through the lizard's skin, it immediately collapse on the ground, lying there motionlessly.
Signals few of his rangers to check on the lizard, Brandeles and two of his rangers immediately rush towards the maiden after they placed their longbow behind their back. Brandeles think that this foreign woman must be surprise to see hooded figures and doesn't know what does a ranger mean, "A woman like you shouldn't be linger around these woods, see that lizard over there?" Brandeles speaks to the foreigner seriously as he points at the lizard's carcass.

At least the maiden and her mare is safe from harm, the ranger captain pulls down his hood off and the wind gently blows his light brown hair and eyes look upon the maiden, with his smile. "I'm just a mere ranger who lingers in the shadow of the forest, lady Leofric. There is no necessary to call "my lord", I'm Brandeles, captain of rangers from the woods of Balor." Brandeles speaks politely to the maiden.
Of course he's a ranger, but Brandeles also from noble Silverwood family who served under King Uther as a group of knights. Oddly, only Brandeles himself choose his path and lived his life as a ranger, protector of the woods and guardians of creatures. The duty as a ranger also protect caravans and travelers who travel in the forest either from bandits or creatures, it is their creed to protect those who are lost in the woods. Brandeles wouldn't tell the maiden his surname for keeping his identity as a nobleman, otherwise the maiden maybe questions him why he lived his life as a ranger, not the noble or knight.
"Such a fine mare you have there, lady." Brandeles look at the maiden's mare with his eyes, and suddenly he remembers he left his steed somewhere near the woods. The ranger captain sharply whistles at once, and the steed immediately emerges from the woods and slowly approaches the ranger. Brandeles pats on his steed's head and pulls it in order to follow him. "Lady Leofric, what does a young maiden like you doing around these woods in this very late night? It's quite dangerous."

"How many are they?" Brandeles placed his hands on the table, looking at the map while his ranger look on. "Possibly forty of them, or more..." the ranger responds as Brandeles look at his lieutenants with his serious look at and look back to his map again, then sighs deeply, "Our number is quite too few, but we will strike them in their camp from the woods. I want our men placed here, here and here." Brandeles presses his finger at the locations on the map as the ranger look at it, and nods.
"We will strike them after sundown, and ask our men to wait for my signal to attack. Now go." the rangers nodded and leave the tent immediately while Brandeles follow him from behind, exits from the tent. The rangers' camp were rather small but undetected by the bandits, hooded rangers were walking around in the camp with their bow in their hands and sword sheathed beside their waist. Brandeles is tasked to assault the bandit camp with his rangers, the bandits cause too much trouble for the village nearby and it's time for the rangers to act, to get rid of the bandits, either kill or capture.
"Captain!" a young ranger apprentice comes to Brandeles from behind, with haste and anxious look on his face. "What is it, ranger?" Brandeles knows that this ranger must have something important to report to him, "A group of mounted knights coming this way, and it was.... Prince Arthur who lead them." Brandeles was not really surprise but curious, what would a future king and his knights come to his encampment? Perhaps assist him in this assault? The heavens must be bless his hope of aid.
"Then we shall welcome him with open arms," Brandeles pats on the ranger's shoulder with his smile. The ranger captain pulls his hood on and ready his bow, arrows and sword sheathed besides him. He signals few of his hooded rangers follow him to the camp entrance, wait for the prince and his knights to come.

The night was rather calm, Brandeles patrols with his longbow around the same route, as usual duty as a ranger. Woods and animals are rangers' friends and allies, as they provide assistance to them for against their enemies. "Rangers of Balor Woods" been named by common townsfolk around Camelot, known for their marksmanship of swiftness and silent moving in the forests. Once, Brandeles and ten of his fellow rangers skirmished hundreds of bandits in their hideout, it becomes successful as the rangers rain down their arrows from the skies to the bandits.
Somehow, Brandeles admits that war isn't his liking, but he will do anything in order to protect the town-folks and his kingdom, Camelot. Brandeles also sometime mistaken by others as his brother Alandres, who is more daring, friendly, sociable and outgoing than him. Speaking of his elder brother, Brandeles slightly have his chance to talk to him because, he already becomes King Uther's knight while Brandeles busy with his duty as captain of rangers, planning tactics to overcome their enemies and trained new rangers.
Suddenly, Brandeles saw a dire wolf not far from him and guards himself with his bow. The wolf seems to be trying to attack someone else and Brandeles saw a young maiden and her mare were threatened. With swift and quick speed, Brandeles quickly went towards the wolf and face it in it's front. The dire wolf growls fiercely at the ranger but Brandeles, raises his palm and stares at the wolf's eyes.
Slowly approaches the wolf, Brandeles manage to touches the wolf's head and pats on it, later then the wolf becomes tamed and wags it's tail. As he gets up, Brandeles points his finger at the woods, ordered the wolf to get back to it's place of nature. It obeys and went into the woods, disappeared in his sight. "You shouldn't be here around the woods during this late night, miss. There's savage creatures that lurked around here." The ranger turns his attention to the maiden and her mare, cross his arms onto his chest.

An unaware outsider then? Brandeles thought for a moment, he places his arrow back to his quiver and signals his rangers to lower their bows, and they did. The rangers stay behind their cover, Brandeles walks out from the shadows while lowers down his hood.
"I thought you are bandit or fugitive, or maybe a spy from another kingdoms but all my guesses are wrong." Brandeles rests longbow on the soil, while his elbow rests on the hilt of his sword. Lately bandits were use this route as their road of escape after robbing a caravan and by order of the king, the rangers of Balor Woods were ordered to apprehend or kill any trespassers in these woods.
"Forgive me for my harshness tones and, your meal, because lately bandits were use this route for escaping from captured and we been ordered to hunt those who trespass these woods but seems you are a traveler, I allowed you to stay here only for tonight but I must never saw you on tomorrow morning, or else we will apprehend you or perhaps, kill you if you try anything."
Brandeles signals his rangers to leave the place, but he rather stays here and begin to questions the man rather in calm and polite way, "I'm Brandeles Silverwood, captain of rangers from Balor Woods. Who are you and what business that you have in Camelot?"

"Few tracks on the ground," Brandeles crouches down and touches the foot prints, it is still fresh. Few of his subordinate rangers are behind him, looking around even they had their hood on. "...Bandits or looters, sir?" one of them questions their captain as he stands up, looking forward into the woods. "Only one person... Maybe it's a fugitive... Or just a simple wanderer... Come."
Brandeles leads his rangers into the woods while ready his longbow, prepare to defend himself and his rangers from any threats if there's is. Few more steps as they silently walk in the woods, Brandeles saw a campfire and signals his rangers to stopped their pace. Orders his rangers to get themselves behind every tree barks with their bows ready, Brandeles saw only one man in the camp. "Maybe it's just a fugitive, or just a mere traveler?"
Regardless, Brandeles aims his bow and arrow at the man but not to kill or wound him, he releases the arrow and it direct hits besides the campfire as a warning, "You there! You shouldn't be around these forest, it is restricted under King Uther's order! States your business here and leave this place at once!" Brandeles yells from his cover as he draws another arrow from his quiver, ready to releases it from his longbow if the man tries to do anything. "You have your warning, and it is your last!"
