.:Name of Character:.Lady Morgana
.:Nick Name:. The Witch (called this by The Dragon)
.:Age:. Early twenties
.:Status:. Royalty/Nobility (Morgana is the illegitimate daughter of Uther and was believed to be the daughter of Gorlois, Utherâs close friend. After the death of Gorlois she was taken in by Uther as the Kingâs Ward.)| ~ ⢠~ | Appearance | ~ ⢠~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. Morganaâs ashen face is framed by thick, ebony curls that reach to her elbows. Her eyes are a startling blue-green and are adorned by dark lashes. She had a slim figure and is usually dressed in fine gowns ranging from a soft lavender to a dark crimson.
.:Height:. 5â4â
.:Portrayed by:. Katie McGrath| ~ ⢠~ | Personality | ~ ⢠~ |
.:Personality:.At first Morgana had a kind demeanor, though by no means was she weak. She has a fiery personality and often stood up to Uther who was her guardian. Despite her well-bred manners Morgana has a good amount of independence which fuels her sassy temperament. When needed she is able to wield a sword and defend herself and others. She has a fond affection for Guinevère and often teases Arthur, their bickering merely friendly banter. Though inwardly she feels a sort of hatred towards Uther who she believes left her supposed father, Gorlois, to die by not sending reinforcements during a battle.
As time goes on her persona grows darker, at times she has plotted against Uther. Yet she is troubled by her dreams and eventually discovers that she has the ability of magic. At first this discovery frightens her but over time, with the help of Merlin; she grows more comfortable with the knowledge.
.:Strengths:.
She has the ability of magic and can see the future (in her dreams). Also she is quite capable of wielding a sword. Being the Kingâs ward she was given a proper education and is an intelligent woman.
.:Weaknesses:. Her anger is quick and often gets her in trouble with Uther. Morgana is blinded by rage and holds a grudge against Uther for indirectly killing Gorlois and lying to her about her true heritage. She gets too carried away by emotion. At times she had difficulty understanding/controlling her powers.
.:Magic Abilities:. She is a seer and a witch, in her dreams future events will play before her eyes.
.:Special Skills:. Being able to use a sword.
.:Accents:.Camelot accent| ~ ⢠~ | History | ~ ⢠~ |
.:Birthplace:.Morgana was born and raised in Camelot.
.:Family:. Originally she believed herself to be the daughter of Gorlois, a close friend of Utherâs, and Vivienne. Yet it was revealed that she in fact is the daughter of Uther who had an affair with her mother, Vivienne, while Gorlois was away. After the death of Gorlois (for her mother at the time had passed away) was taken in by Uther as his ward, though she did not know that in reality she was Utherâs daughter.
.:Occupation:. I donât believe Morgana has a specific job.
.:Current Location of Residence:. Camelot (the castle)
.:History:.
Born to Vivienne and Gorlois, Morgana was raised well as her parents were well respected by the king. Uther and Gorlois were good friends and Gorlois died fighting for Uther in a battle while Uther failed to send reinforcements. Her mother also perished before the death of her supposed father. During her childhood Morgana was plagued by nightmares, later discovering her dreams to be the result of the magic that flows within her blood; Gaius gave her medicine and cured her frightening dreams. Despite the fact that after Gorloisâs death Uther had adopted Morgana as his ward, she still feels bitter towards the man believing Uther to be responsible for Gorloisâs death.
She befriends Merlin, Guinevère, and Arthur who is like a brother to her and who she teases profoundly (he in fact is her half-brother). Later her nightmares return and she is comforted by Merlin, and learns that she possesses magic. Regardless of the fact that Uther raised her well, though she would fight with him and at times was put in the dungeons, Morgana turned against Camelot and plotted against Uther with the help of her half-sister Morgause (who may or may not be in fact her half-sister).
