Morgana stands around five feet and five inches, weighing around the average weight of one hundred and thirty pounds. A pale round shaped face is framed by long wavy black hair. It falls past her shoulders and lands just a couple of inches below the waist. It is always seen worn down with two braids pulled back. Her eyes are a sparkling black set under curly eyelashes and fine black eyebrows. Morgana is often seen in ankle length dresses. She owns a few rather plain looking dresses when she ventures out into the city of Camelot. Her other dresses are for special occasions as they contain a lot of decorations and other stuff sewn on the fabric.

Morgana is known to have possessed a strong, feisty and cheek type of personality. She was considered by many to be very beautiful and she attracted the attention of numerous men even her half-brother Arthur during season one. She was much more than just a pretty face however. Morgana was fiery and independent. She never hesitate to stand up to Uther, who was her guardian. She has proven herself to be a very capable fighter when the chips are down so to speak. Like any sibling she teased Arthur constantly and yet she also tried to advise him. She considered her maidservant, Gwen, more as a friend than a servant and she was very affectionate towards her.

It all started during the Great War against magic. Gorlois was a knight of Camelot and husband of Vivienne. He was away for battle when an affair between his wife and the king of Camelot, Uther, blossomed. In Uther’s words the affair had happened because Vivienne had become lonely. Morgana was born and she was raised by Gorlois, believing him to be her birth father. She was ten years old when Gorlois was killed in battle and she was devastated at the fact that her father was gone. She had already lost her mother as Vivienne had died a couple of weeks before Gorlois in what was supposed to be from natural causes. It was suspected that Vivienne might have been a witch as Morgana had inherited her powers.

Uther had taken her under his care as his ward and began to raise her. Interestingly enough there was already another boy in the palace, a young prince by the name of Arthur. Morgana was weary of Arthur at first but she soon grew to love him. They were always seen with one another, always teasing and, on occasion, fighting. She was always there for him when they were younger and had often advised him on several different occasions. While growing up Morgana discovered that she sometimes dreamt of terrible things that happened afterwards. Gaius, as the court physician, gave her a variety of sleeping drugs but none have proved effective. Morgana continued to have these dreams and she feared that she might have magic after all.

She had kept this a secret as time continued to take on. Morgana acts like the first lady of the kingdom when there are ceremonies and official acts. It is noted that Morgana has a rather strained relationship with Uther. She frequently stood up to him when she thought that he was being unfair and/or cruel. She often claimed that Uther was neither wise and told him that he continued making enemies which ended up getting her chained up in the dungeons. Morgana still resides in the palace of Camelot.
