.:Name of Character:. Sawyer
.:Nick Name:.
.:Age:. 18
.:Status:. Servant| ~ • ~ | Appearance | ~ • ~ |
.:Physical Appearance:. There is nothing outstandingly unique about Sawyer’s appearance. He has soft features, giving him a very boyish look, which would be consistent with his young age. He has fair, light skin and extremely large, bright blue eyes which are usually wide with some emotion or another. He is very animated, always expressive of what he is feeling. He dresses in clothing that servants are usually dressed in, and sometimes looks rather disheveled as he has no one to take care of him and sometimes is not as presentable as perhaps he should be.
.:Height:. 5”9’
.:Portrayed by:. James McAvoy| ~ • ~ | Personality | ~ • ~ |
.:Personality:. Sawyer does not have an overly complex personality, though it is far from simple. He is very talkative, often rambling, and he usually does not know when to stop. He is very emotional, but in ways that are a directly impacted by his job; he is also very expressive of these emotions, finding no need to conceal them. He is clumsy, possessing no grace or elegance and it is very easy for him to trip over something as simple as his own two feet. He can be accurately described as a drama queen; he has the tendency to dramatize just about anything, thinking of the worst possible outcome. In addition to that, something that probably makes his paranoia worse is that he is over analytical and reaches the most outrageous conclusions from the smallest situation.
He also displays a great deal of paranoia. He is constantly fearful of death, and is not very good at putting on his brave face. At the same time, he does not back away from his job, not wishing to bestow such a burden on to everyone else. He gets distracted very easily, finding it difficult to focus on one thing. He is also quite fidgety and can hardly ever stand still. He unknowingly easily irritates others and this can make him rather unpopular, yet he is one of those people that you just can’t seem to get rid of.
Despite all of these negative qualities he does possess some positive ones. He has a thirst for knowledge – asking more questions than he probably should – but since he is very uneducated, he enjoys learning when he gets the chance. He can be shy, but this is something that only lasts a few moments upon first meeting someone. He is friendly to those who can bare his company and can be like a little lost puppy dog, wandering around, trying to find meaning in his life.

.:Birthplace:. Camelot.
.:Family:. Orphaned.
.:Occupation:. Servant; taste tester for the king and other nobles.
.:Current Location of Residence:. The servant quarters in the castle.
.:History:. Live each moment like it's your last. In Sawyer's life, this phrase could not be more true.
He was orphaned at the age of eight, and as his parents were both servants in the castle, he was automatically assumed into this position. He started working in the castle as soon as the death of his parents came about, but even before them, followed them around really having nothing better to do with his time. Their deaths brought about only loneliness and solitude, and one of the servants took great pity on the poor boy. He helped stabilize his job and from then on, Sawyer worked as a general servant. He had various tasks from delivering messages, to serving food, to cleaning halls. No task was too menial for him, and he often did everything he good with minimal complaints.
Unfortunately, his talking was in no way minimal. He spoke a great deal, and began to annoy the very man who had helped him get his job. He would follow him everywhere, asking questions about every single thing that he was doing. He annoyed him to no end, and Wesley really did not understand why he had such a strong aversion to him. The servant, completely irritated by Sawyer’s presence, took advantage of an open position. The king had announced that he needed a new taste tester, an official job where a servant would taste the king’s food and drink to ensure there was no poison in it. Sawyer was immediately nominated the job.
Sadly, for the boy, he did not quite realize what he was getting himself into. He started at the age of thirteen, and has been doing this job ever since. There has not been a single day where he did not think he wouldn’t die. Every meal or drink he has fills him with the same fear that it may be his last. This strong fear of his impacts him every moment, or every day, and yet will never give up his job for he knows that someone has to do it; and it may as well be him. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
