.:Personality:. While his appearance would have him seem intimidating and dangerous looking, he is actually quite good-natured. He acts quite shy when meeting new people and is rather soft-spoken. Strong in his beliefs about the fundamentals of justice and peace, he is often misjudged by others. Very friendly in nature, Percival is also extremely loyal to those he considers friend. When he fights, however, there is nothing careful or tentative about him. He would do anything to protect those he cares about. He is very stongly disciplined and used to working for what he has. He believes that everything should be earned through honest work and has a very strong moral code. He can be a bit innocent when it comes to the ways of the world, but has become more knowledgeable as he has traveled.

.:History:. Percival was adopted by a pair of farmers when he was just a baby. His real parents are unknown*. His father was a hard working man who taught him early on the values of discipline and patience. His mother was very gentle and soft-spoken which is where Percival gets his own quiet nature. Growing up in a very small town, Percival was not exposed early on to many other people. This caused him to grow up rather shy. Seeing early on that his son would be very strong, Percival's father put him to work in the fields. Percival lived quite a normal life until he was about seventeen. It was during the summer that Percival traveled to the next village over to send a cousin something his mother had made. When he returned to his own village, he found the houses burned and his parents dead.

After his parents died he lived with his cousins for a little over a year. However, he felt the need to travel away from the place his parents had lived and ended up traveling long distances simply seeking to find a purpose. Never staying long in one place, Percival picked up many different skills, primarilly fighting skills which he needed on his trips. At 23 he met Lancelot while traveling. He traveled with him until an urgent message arrived from Camelot. They were called there to help Prince Arthur to save the kingdom. Percival saved the prince's life and later pledged to help fight alongside Arthur to overthrow Morgana and free the king. For their bravery, Percival and a few others were granted the title of Knight of Camelot.

*In the legends Percival is sometimes born a commoner, but in others he is born to a knight or King Pellinor. I left it vague to account for this.
