Words were chanted like a mantra and Morgause gazed through her scrying crystal as a figure showed in her mind's eye. A figure of a young blonde man not too much younger then herself. A man that was well know to any and all that knew of Camelot's existence. Stopping her chanting the woman peered through the crystal and thought over the details she saw. The young man was sporting the sign of a crowned prince and she decided it was time for her to act. The slightest hint of amusement crept into her expression. "Arthur Pendragon a great destiny awaits you..." She began eyes moving away from the vision of the man. "The battle for your soul is about to begin." She stated to herself as she walked out of the room with the crystal and put together her armour. She had a long trip to Camelot ahead of herself and could hardly contain her excitement of what was to unfold. The witch had to prepare for battle, for the journey and for her entrance to where she was born.
When the journey itself was complete, she slipped in, but was caught by two guards. When they tried to stop her from making her way into the citadel she cut them down where they stood, sword drawn in an instant. She'd been so very careful to keep her identity secret, her long blond locks hidden under polished metal, and her clothing while form fitting was baggy enough to hide her slim physique. It seemed as if not a single guard learnt their lesson as she made her way inside. Pushing the doors open after killing a total of five men, injuring three others, she smirked under the metal that hid her face and walked into what had obviously been the throne room. Unbuckling straps from her gauntlet she slid the metallic glove off and tossed it down at Arthur's feet. She stood there waiting for what would unfold.
She knew that this was only the start of it and that there would be much more. For now she would play stupid, and not use her magic, despite knowing all the lies of the kingdom. Morgause had set her chessboard and it would be like a fatalistic game, if she were to reach check-mate it would be the end of the kingdom that Arthur and his father held so dear.
